Here we are in the 21st century and snakes oil salesmen are still finding enough suckers to buy what they're selling and make a huge profit. I have just lost faith, what little I had, in humanity.

This is your reporter Newsweek. He was never looking to publish a positive article. He was out there looking for negative as per his post as follows. Were is all the tons of positive he found???

I'm a reporter for a national print publication that's working on a story about MonaVie. Since I've already heard tons of positive testimonials, I'd be interested in hearing from any one who has had a bad experience distributing the drink. I can be reached at 212-445-4430. Many thanks.

Tipical looser Newsweek reporter (very liberal media) The media typically only reports negative things. Dallin's tan makes him jealous? Makes fun of church ? Wow. OH..& doesn't mention this company is donating proceeds from every case to homeless kids & families in Brazil...clearing the slums, and building churches, schools and homes for them...helping educate and feed and more THAT for a cult? A "cult"? "Cult" typically refers to a cohesive social
group devoted to beliefs or practices that the surrounding population
considers to be outside the mainstream. A group's cult status begins as
rumors spread of its novel belief system, its great devotions, its
idiosyncratic practices, its perceived harmful or beneficial effects on
members or its perceived opposition to the interests of mainstream cultures
and governments. Persistent rumors may follow relatively small and recently
founded religious or non-religious groups when they are perceived to engage
in excessive member control or exploitation Yes, a group of people who are
willing to invest $5 a day to consume the equivalent of 13 servings of
fruit, share it with others and get paid for it. What's wrong with that?

All you need to know about the FDA can be found in a New York Times bestseller , Natural Cures They don't want you to know about.

While I do not use this one, I personally take a product called VEMMA. However, This is not an ad for VEMMA but a rebuttal to many combined comments. I am a PhD - have taught research methods, am a published author, an expert in my field and using all I know about research have found this: many natural products have incredible results - but - the FDA has a scam. They only support manufactured drugs suggesting ties to the industry. For a closer look at the FDA and its less than ethical issues take a look at them - I have several articles on my site davidacamp.com - it is not a sales site, but a blog and I can back what I found. SO yes educated and respected people do support these products - not all of course, but many have lab results that any academician would accept - just not the FDA.

Why is it that MonaVie does not put the ingredient list on the bottle, and tell you what percent of the liquid mixture is acai? Other products on the market contain a high percentage of acai, and cost much less!

After being exposed to radiation as a 2year old in Hiroshima in 1947, I have had 6 kinds of cancer and have met alot of people who have been victimized such scams. Most if not all are now dead. I can only repeat the best advice ever given, if it sounds too easy, to suitable blah, blah, ......it is.! The reason cocaine was removed from the non-prescription phramacopia, was that eventhoe it made you feel great, in fact it was a an insidious danger.

A Brazilian berry popular in health food contains antioxidants that destroyed cultured human cancer cells in a recent University of Florida study, one of the first to investigate the fruit???s purported benefits.Published today in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, the study showed extracts from acai (ah-SAH???-ee) berries triggered a self-destruct response in up to 86 percent of leukemia cells tested, said Stephen Talcott, an assistant professor with FF's Insititute of Food and Agricultural Sciences. ???Acai berries are already considered one of the richest fruit sources of antioxidants,??? Talcott said. ???This study was an important step toward learning what people may gain from using beverages, dietary supplements or other products made with the berries.??? Compounds found in acai berries will not prevent leukemia in people In the current UF study, six different chemical extracts were made from acai fruit pulp, and each extract was prepared in seven concentrations. Four of the extracts were shown to kill significant numbers of leukemia cells when applied for 24 hours. Depending on the extract and concentration, anywhere from about 35 percent to 86 percent of the cells died. Historically, Brazilians have used acai berries to treat digestive disorders and skin conditions, he said. Current marketing efforts by retail merchants and Internet businesses suggest acai products can help consumers lose weight, lower cholesterol and gain energy.

14 days come on you need 60 days to really feel the effect. My personal experience has been that no matter who you are your body is infected with toxins. One bottle won't flush the system, yet 60 days can tell a story. I have been a lucky one, in 14 days my shoulder pain no longer kept me up and night or limited my activity due to the needle like pain that shot through it when I moved my arm to high or used the mouse to long at my desk. Since drinking the 'Juice' I have forgotten about shoulder surgery, I enjoy a body that can fight off common colds in short order, give me an energy level I haven't felt since my 20's and an over all healthy feeling that comes from eating the recommended daily allotment of fruits.
I am sorry the reporter who wrote the article failed to research completely the independent research into this product. He may call it a cult or a cleaver MLM scheme, but to those who have benefited from the healthy aspects of this product, call it a wonder cure. I wonder why this has taken so long to find the free market, I guess the medical industry would lose to much money if this product was used by the nation who suffers from untold medical problems brought on by the daily infusion of chemical ladin foods and synthetic drinks proliferated by big business.
Pass me another bottle of MonaVie.

    ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance
capacity) is an assay that measures the antioxidant
activity of a substance. That is, it quantifies the
degree and length of time it takes to inhibit the
action of an oxidizing agent, specifically oxygen
radicals known to cause damage to the delicate
    machinery of living cells.

The ORAC score for 1 gram of freeze dried acai
powder is 1,027 ORAC units. This may seem low when
compared to other ORAC claims; however, it is
actually very high. Many companies represent their
ORAC scores in 100 gram increments. If MonaVie were
to give its ORAC value by 100 grams, its ORAC score
    is 102,700.

There are approximately 1000 to 1200 ORAC units per
one ounce of MonaVie juice. The body can utilize
approximately 5,000 ORAC units per day. Anymore and
the body will simply discard them.

The current daily recommendation of 5 to 10 servings
of fruit and vegetables a day translates to
approximately 4000 - 7000 ORAC units per day.
Consumption of 1 ounce of MonaVie is roughly 1000 -
1200 ORAC units. By consuming 4 ounces, this would
give you the approximate equivalent of 5 to 13
servings of fruit and/or vegetables. Please
understand however that this is referring to the
antioxidant value (ORAC) you are receiving from the
    MonaVie products.

Comment: Hhmmm lets see...The 'USDA' clearly is recommending eating 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables a day (per person), along with physical activity, to promote good health! 'Oh', & the CDC ( Center for Disease Control ) is saying 'Fruit' intake is 'CRITICAL' to good health. Its also proven that just 4 ounces of MonaVie daily is equivalent to 9-13 servings of FRUITS & VEGETABLES a day! YUP..You heard right! Compared with people who consume a diet with only small amounts of fruits and vegetables, those who eat more generous amounts as part of a healthful diet are likely to have REDUCED risk of chronic diseases. Theres no claims there! How ignorant can you be when all the facts are there in black & white. MonaVie also has the World leading Acai researcher on their board of directors along with 1 of the Worlds top 3 financial analysts & economists, as noted by the Wall Street Journal! CULT? PLEASE! I could go on & on but we'll keep this short & sweet because we simply don't have time for people like this nor the bitter broken person writing this article with no FACTS backing their accusations against this incredible nutritional wellness product & company. To those of you educated individuals with any ounce of intellect, you know that old saying, an opinion is like an _-_ _ _ _ (fill in the gaps)...everyone has one....just go out and do your research and get FACTS. Dont listen to ignorant people like this. The bottom line is EVERYONE SHOULD if all else, BE drinking this product if they value their health & their families in any way at all!! Simple as that...WHY? Go do your research...No one will need to convince you of anything....just make sure you are getting your information from legitimated sources and they are FACTS not here say like in these bogus blogs.

The FACTS are there!! Just be smart and not IGNORANT & go find them. Amazes me how people speak without any backing to their accusations and othes FOLLOW. Wow.

I apologize for the repetition and misprints at some points in my comments below but this blog is hard to adjust to. Everyone have a great evening...stay healthy, be happy and follow positive. Stay away of negative bitter individuals who have no FACTS backing their ignorant claims and accusations. Its clear a lot of people are trying to bash MonaVie because of their success & if you look deep, you'll find most individuals doing this bashing without facts are part of some other relational marketing company and are simply afraid of where this company is going. Now look at MonaVie, you will never see the company bashing any others, and for the most part, any distributors either. WHY? Because they know they dont need to....they know what they have here is real and solid! God Bless

I was sent a bottle of MonaVie and while I think there are some benefites, I do have a hard time believing that this is the ONLY company who has the magic formulation, and that it can't be produced at a lower price point. I have also heard some of the "early" team leaders, and there was a great deal of spreading around of the stories of the miracle cures until Corporate came down on them and made them change the whole marketing process. The marketing process is kind of a cult, that's for sure, and you are "gently" pressured to buy and get onto the "autoship" process.....that is what makes the money for the person above you. It will be interesting to see what happens to the sales figures now, the change in the sales techniques have just gone into effect in the last 30-45 days.
It does seem to do something, not expecting a miracle, but if it does make me feel better, we babyboomers all want to live forever and we are looking for anything we can to make it a better life and that is what they are appealing to, the fear of getting older and not being able to do the things we think we want to.....look at all of the products out there, this one is no different than the rest, just a little more expensive!
I do doubt if the Corporate office assumed much more than the 30% rate of renewal, meaning the autoship, bottom line, you don't go to a high end restaurant once a month, every month, and that is what this amounts to for one person, much less a couple.

Unless some reputable group of scientists has analyzed MonaVie's claims of health benefits from their drink and published their findings, I'm inclined to view the apparent upswing in customer health to the placebo effect. Just telling someone that a product may make them healthier has been shown by numerous studies to make that person feel better, even if there are NO actual health benefits.
