Mona vie is a scam. Ordered their miracle cure for my brother who had leukemia. Supposed to be a miracle cure for it. Needless to say it did not do anything,my brother died 2 weeks later. It was supposed to be a 1 time order, I received another shipment 2 weeks after my brother died. Sent the order back through UPS with instructions that I did not order and called up the person I ordered it through and he said he would call them and make sure they crdited my account and did not send anymore. I just received my credit card statement and it did not show credit so I called them yesterday. I talked to customer service and they said they had recieved the shipment back but(3 1/2 weeks ago to be exact) but a credit had not been issued yet. She said that if I would hold she would take care of that right now. When she got back on the phone she said she issued the credit and gave me a confirmation number. I told her to make sure that they did not ship me anymore orders, she checked and said they had me listed for another delivery but she would take care of it. UPS delivered that order she was taking care of about 4 hours later. I refused the shipment and called up their customer service again the next morning. The new person I talked to checked the tracking number and saw where the order had been refused and said she would put in for the credit right now andit would take 1 to 8 days togo through. She also told me that the credit would be for $113.00, I told her no way I expected a full refund, I was not on automatic reorder, had explicitly told them when the first order was placed it was a one time order only. (my brother was only given 2 weeks to live) She put me on hold again and then told me she would give me a full product refund but not the shipping. She said the shipping was done through a third party. How do you do shipping through a 3rd party but it is all billed on one bill?

My brother forced mona vie down each day, hoping for the miracle they claimed.

Again, (forgot to register), whats wrong with it, especially BonAvie. How can an arsenal of 19 fruits be bad for the body. Detox is what it sounds like its doing with any fruit detox. I'm a hollistic practioner for over 40 years. I always like to hear the critics view before I can comment. Sincerely Jerry Johnston

It seems to me that Newsweek USED TO do a little research on a topic before publishing an article. This article on MonaVie is unfortunately in line with several others I have read lately in Newsweek that even the most naive, uninformed reader would seriously question, particularly after just a short time of due diligence on the topic in question. When news is supposed to be the reason for readership, and therefore advertisers, I have to question my time invested and any reliance on content from Newsweek magazine. This childish report on MonaVie does not do much for Newsweek Magazine's credibility and is perhaps "exhibit A" as the most irresponsible article in this disturbing trend of amateurish, misinformed articles this year.

In this particular case, regarding MonaVie, I found it most interesting at www.RealHealthAnswers.com to see all the published documentation specifically on this MonaVie "Kool-Aid" in The Journal of Agriculture & Food Chemistry, Health Sciences Institute, our own USDA and so on, not to mention on the company itself in FORTUNE Magazine, etc.

And relative to their business success, I???ve headed success businesses for decades and I, along with every other American, has to intuitively know that MonaVie has done something special to do what no other company has achieved, that I am aware of. I, nor Microsoft, Walmart, CocaCola or any other company I???ve found has been able to become a billion dollar company in 3 ½ years, let alone develop such a following.

Then again, I???m sure Mr. Dokoupil has done that with his clearly evident business
    prowess and fine outlook.

Are Newsweek articles still reviewed by a supervising editor before released to embarrass and discredit Newsweek???s formerly hard-won credibility?

When every something seems it is to good to be true there are skeptics. We all lead busy lives and strive to be successful. This program does have the good with the bad-as does any business. My sister has had MS for years and is now walking without her cane and feels great (no other changes and this is monitored) ??? do I want to question that it does not work. It does different things to different people there is not one claim that can be stated. I have little/no major health issues but it certainly is not hurting me. I am now getting some nutrition in my diet (I do not eat that poorly) and have the opportunity to make an extra income on top of it. The success in this is there if you put the effort into it. It takes work determination and a passion to succeed and then this can work for you too. How bad can that be?

Sure if you don't mind Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate in your health drinks, drink up! And if you want to save money, skip the expensive distributorship hierarchy and get Fruitology's Frut a vie. Almost identical ingredients (down to the artificial preservatives) and over 3500 ORAC units.

Actually the FDA does not approve food, MonaVie Pulse is a food, and yes it does help to reduce cholesterol. I wish people wouldn't make statements that are not accurate, it simply does not help MonaVie or any Ditributors. Here is what makes Pulse unique as stated in a press release...

A daily serving of MonaVie Pulse gives you 0.8 grams per day of plant sterols, delivering the benefits you need to potentially impact the health of your heart, .

According to the Food and Drug Administration, foods containing at least 0.4 grams per serving of plant sterols, eaten twice daily with meals for a daily total intake of at least 0.8 grams and as a part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease.

This is not an approval by the FDA, but it does give MonaVie Distributors that ability to make this statement. Also the patent is for the unique way MonaVie processes the Acai which retains almost 100% of the nutrients, and not for the MonaVie Pulse, Active or Original product. Better yet, just send people to MonaViePulse.com and you don't have to make any inaccurate statements..

Mona vie just came out with a new drink called Pulse and it's for high cholesterol and it's proven to lower your cholesterol. It's the only one of the juices that is "FDA Approved" Also the juice does different things for people because all of our bodies have different reactions and they don't tell you to stop taking your meds or at least they shouldn't. They just want to encourage people to drink it to get the healthy servings of fruits and antioxidants. As for that other juice this other person is trying to sell, I'll have you know that mona vie is the only company that actually has a freezing process for the acai berry because it loses it's antioxidents and enrichments witin the first 48 hours and this company is the only one out there that knows how to process it and the process actually even activates the fruit even more. The company has a patton and so all of those imitaters are lies.

First of all, what is the shelf life of the juice after opening? For a single person, it can take a month to drink the bottle, most refrigerated juices after opeing do not last a month. Secondly, most people that are selling this drink, do believe it will cure "all that ails" them and will stop taking much needed medicines. My girlfriend sells MonaVie, she stopped taking her blood pressure medicine. Mistake. Her blood pressure was so high I wanted to drive her right to the hospital. I started drinking it as my girlfriend gave me a bottle to try, within three months my bloodwork showed very increased Amylase and Lipase blood levels. Since I have bloodwork done every three months due to high cholesterol it is very easy to monitor whats going on and since the only thing that I was doing different was drinking MonaVie my doctor had me stop drinking it and return in two weeks for additional bloodwork. The levels started dropping immediately and within one month of not drinking "the purple drink" my levels were back to normal.

It's a bonified scam. More sugar content than Classic Coke and a little Vitamin C and Iron.
The rest is made up, playing on greed and desperate sick people!
Absolutely ineffective - other than giving you a brief sugar high.
