I have read a lot of these remarks and am just amazed at the ignorance.
I am 41 yrs old and in decent health. I played basketball. I had 2 spinal surgeries in 2 years. My doctors told me to stop playing basketball for 2 years and I have. I had a vasectomy done in 2005 and, for 3 years, I had pain on one side. I ignored it and went on with life. My eating habits are poor. I eat vegetables with some meals; I eat pizza and fast food. None of this has changed.
In 2008 a MonaVie distributor introduced it to me. I tasted it and liked it. He gave me a bottle to try. After running out I had a drop in energy and became lethargic for 24 hours. I was not looking for any great health benefits. Nothing was promise to me. All he said was "Try this".
Two weeks after I tried the MonaVie my wife became pregnant. After she became pregnant, I realized that the side that had been hurting from the vasectomy had stopped. Many would say that she had an affair or we had some medical work done, but we didn???t. We went to my doctor and he found the one side that had been hurting healed itself.
I was interested and became a 'distributor' to get the juice cheaper. I am not going to pressure any friends or family to get involved, I saw how people responded to my father, the Amway salesman.
A lot of people say that MonaVie is a scam, but have no proof of a scam. In my view, MonaVie is similar to Amway in the early 90's. They were thought to be a Pyramid scheme and are still going with the same system used by Arbonne and Tupperware. This is called 'network marketing'. A person recruits someone that will sell the products and they also recruit someone. They all sell the product and money trickles down.
People say, ???If MonaVie is so good, put it in health stores.??? Let's look at Tupperware to prove a point.
Tupperware is not sold in stores and is of the highest quality. Rubbermaid is in the major department stores and their quality is good. I buy Rubbermaid and I love the quality of Tupperware products. My cupboards are full of both Rubbermaid and Tupperware. Tupperware keeps the product under their control to continue to bring out quality products at their cost. Rubbermaid has to try and make cheaper products so that the daily consumer can afford them, allowing for many unknown situations to affect the company. All of this can be said the same for any other 'network marketing' business. They provide things at a higher cost but at the same time it provides a way to possibly earn money. I say possibly because I have only been in it for 2 months and I have not seen a dime, but I didn't get in it for the money, I got into it because I felt better.
No one is saying, ???MonaVie is going to cure you." They are just saying, "Study the Acai berry???.
I wouldn't have bought MonaVie. The first bottle I got was all I needed to convince me that this product worked...for me.
Go about your lives and either try it or don't. That's the beauty of this 'FREE' country. You
