I've said it before and I'll say it again
McCain has no choice except negative ads.
While he is trying the flip flop of all flip flops the fact remains he has stated he will appoint ultra conservative judges to the Supreme Court that would lose the womens vote in a heart beat.
He has stated he will continue the bush/Cheney economic policies that alone would lose the majority of all voters, in a heart beat.
He has stated he would have a permanent presence in Iraq, not much support there. Not to mention very unlikely at this point.
His Health care advisor is the same individual who kept the Clintons health care from becoming reality, considering the disastrous state health care is in, hardly a winner.
I could go on but why bother, the fact is McCain cannot run on the issues. He has only the option of petty attempts at demonizing Obama.

I think it is interesting the current effort has as much chance at failure as success. I noticed one poster who stated she would change her vote for McCain because she considered the Spears/Obama ad was an attack on Britney Spears. And will Paris Hilton vote for McCain?

The real winner is the latest ad Moses/Obama it is hilarious, wonder what the follow up spin is going to be.

Senator McCain has the cahunas to call Obama's bluff with the "race-card."!

Obama is the biggest racist you will see on the public stage. This man attends a white-racist church for twenty years, and has the audacity to pull the race card on Imus, Geraldine Ferraro, the Clintons, and now he is pulling the race card on Senator McCain.

I thought the same thing. I thought it was great that he called him on the race card cuz it was just so blatant how could he not? I think Obama was surprised with that one cuz I dont think Hillary even did that in such an IN YOU FACE manner. He's pegged now so people will be watching for it from him . H*ll, he did used the same ploy back in June (. . . and did I mention he is a Black? ) and McCain ignored it If he did not speak up it would have continued. But who knows, three is a charm. Maybe another slip of the race card will come out after the DNConvention. At least people got his number now and will be looking for him employing this practice yet another time.

Actually, the only way the republicans can win is for Senator McCain to sit down in front of a camera and tell Americans the vast differences between his experience and the miniscule resume of Obama!

People have short memories and only remember the glamour of the Kennedy presidency. They have forgotten how disastrous an inexperienced young President jeopardized the safety and well-being of the country when placed in a position of power.

What? You would have prefered a "nukular" war with Tricky Dick as POTUS?

One thing we know is the huge gap between Obama's well-rehearsed mojo and any substance.

This is the only way the Repugnants know how to win, keep the campaigns concentrated on the dirt and they think everyone will just forget about how screwed we all are and how screwed up our government is and then nothing will change and nothing will get better. And the Republican Owned and Operated MSM is just rallying around that cash register "Cha....Ching" saying to themselves now we can really sell product! keep it going Repugs nothing like a dragged out knock down rumble to get the masses to buy the tickets.

The only way the republicans can win is charge right back into the Discrimination Campaigns the DNC (and Obama) have waged at the so-called "right" of every-day Americans. becuase that complex of campaigns as one super campaign is what is now driving the DNC's approval down!
It's not so much the RNC winning...but the DNC losing! they have ridiculed and attacked, insulted and demeaned what is now a super-saturation of the electorate! And the low approval is the response!
The DNC are The One who wages the politics of division. it is they who keep the undercurrent of discrimination going and many would urinate on the aids quilt IF they could blame the stain on BUSH! CHRISTAINS! GUN OWNERS! CROKED COPS! THOSE IDIOTS IN THE MILITARY WHO SCREW UP ALL THE WORLD PEACE!
Multiple discrimination campaigns under the banner of Americans Suck First! And there are a tremedouse number of voters,Democrats, who believe this is the way to run a Party! And help it along with enthusiasm!
Of course you don't have to actually think to do this! it's all see and say... hear and say!
Well... it's no sneaky trick or dirty trick to counter and oppose discrimination campaigns! And it is working. And in a few more months it will be working a lot better! Only the whiners and hear-and-say people will be baffled by the outcome.

All of which just makes me totally despair for this country. We need LEADERSHIP! We need to get back to at least the pretense of a "commonweath" and we need to rise above the gutter that we have allowed ourselves to be dragged into. VOTERS need to say: STOP! Tell me why YOU are good for the country; don't try win your way solely by dragging the other person down.

That Schmidt guy looks like a White Supremist, hate to say it... Are we sure HE's not playing the race card and trying to make McCain look like the victim? What a sleaze.

I'm so sorry I am even following this race now, it's just deteriorating. It got off on a bad track with Hillary's similar slump to the slime. Now we've got a perfectly great war hero losing it with these silly-ass tactics that everyone is just so used to.

But of course, we have the Southerners, and the attitudes of the narrow-minded all around the country, lapping it all up and believing every piece of anti-Obama propaganda they hear.

It's going to be an uphill battle for Obama, and I am beginning to wonder if he can beat this horrible Reactionary mentality that seems to prevail like an illness throughout the country.

    One can only HOPE!
