SCrew media and their apostle. They hid this so that Edwards cut into Hillary's votes so the ultra liberal will come into power.

    • Posted By: legume @ 08/13/2008 8:44:05 AM

and lovely timing...it just happened to "break" when barry's not available for comment? and you're right...the media was aware of it in 2006 - before he ran for president. IOWA caucus: barry 38% edwards 30% Clinton 28%. heckuva trouncing by barry...and is 38%...a large majority of nearby college students...gonna win Iowa in november? and that was when people actually believed barry's fairy tale on iraq.

  • Posted By: vakosh @ 08/11/2008 4:17:39 PM

GO HILLARY ..... you have nothing to lose ... you would be better in the private sector anyway. Blow up the whole damn democratic party, they sicken me .... I cannot wait to change my voter registration. DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Posted By: Keepinguponfacts123 @ 08/11/2008 4:54:55 PM

I am not sure why you were voting for HIllary, but I assume it was because of her beliefs and policies. So why would you say your going to vote for John McCain. Isn't that like cutting off your nose to spite your face. I hope God saves you from yourself.

      • Posted By: legume @ 08/13/2008 8:40:22 AM

"I hope God saves you from yourself" another lovely sentiment from barrybots...how well it reflects on your savior.

      • Posted By: Hope for America @ 08/11/2008 5:06:44 PM

Please do not accuse someone of different views from you in an election as being damned to hell. Rather, realize that both candidates, McCain and Obama, are not solid leaders, and quit with your Obama favoritism and blindness. Thanks.

  • Posted By: ByTheSeaWa @ 08/12/2008 8:47:26 PM

The Clintons are enough to make me leave the party. If it wasn't for Obama I'd have no horse in this race at all. Clintons are both so narcissistic that they need ongoing therapy - doubtful it would help. As Hillary rants on about "her supporters", someone should remind her how deeply her campaign was in debt because "her supporters" WEREN'T supporting her. Obama had to beg his people to pay her debts. She has ZERO class.

    • Posted By: legume @ 08/13/2008 8:38:35 AM

PUBS? "zero class"? you might want to read your words.

  • Posted By: LuLuBelle @ 08/11/2008 11:24:12 AM

Oh, get serious. This is just the stupid biased news media trying to stir things up against the Clintons as usual. They don't have any "plan". If anybody has a plan it is the voters since they are pretty much all disgusted with Nancy Pelosi and Hoard Dean being able to SELECT the nominee irregardless of the voters' wishes. The news media just needs to stop stirring up garbage. I bet you money that NOTHING will be done by the Clintons and the stupid news media will not bother to apologize for once again smearing the Clintons.

    • Posted By: legume @ 08/13/2008 8:32:07 AM

did you see pelosi on larry king? is she "soft"? she did as well as bush or mccain. who can take this women seriously with that goofy grin? and just what quota did she fill to get her job? she's beyond embarrassing.

  • Posted By: annalou @ 08/11/2008 11:26:11 AM

Obama would do well to pick Hillary for
VP. That would make a good start for that Change they talk about. What better ticket
than a Black President, and a knowledgable, capable tried and tested, dedicated Woman
for Vice President. Go Obama-make the right start.

    • Posted By: NewHamster @ 08/11/2008 5:44:20 PM

AND it would show that he means it when he says he is a unifier. Obama's problem is that he always SAYS the right thing, but we never see him actually DO anything that shows us that his fancy rhetoric is to be believed. In fact, just the opposite. So if he swallows his pride and picks Hillary as VP, and yes, recognizes that he NEEDS Bill Clinton, I'll eat my hat a little and give him the opportunity to earn my vote. Otherwise I'm done with him and will go with McCain. And don't say I'm cutting off my nose to spite my face. No, I'll be listening to my conscience.

      • Posted By: legume @ 08/13/2008 8:30:31 AM

never gonna happen. barry/DNC/MSM want to win and also destroy the clinton legacy.

  • Posted By: lahaikemo @ 08/11/2008 12:18:55 PM

The democrats are nervous. They nominated the weaker candidate and now must live with the consequences. Senator Clinton, clearly was the Better and stronger candidate and yet the democrats fear of hbeing tagged 'racist' led to thi srisky position. What the Mr clinton says did made Mr clayburm rush to the cameras with anger. His candiate was Obama but was spineless to declare it publicly.

    • Posted By: legume @ 08/13/2008 8:29:20 AM

rep clyburn is a complete fraud. he said he would stay neutral -- he lied. in january he said the fight would go all the way to the convention (some with first class tickets...and he wasnt talking about barry) and then he repeatedly made racial threats if barry didnt become the nominee "he heard some people...some people told him. and then he went back on his "word" and endorsed barry anyway. integrity? haha. just like donna brazile who completely lost her standing.

  • Posted By: Obama Drama @ 08/11/2008 1:47:20 PM

well Hillary is the one with the most popular votes in the Dem party. Bill Clinton was our Pres for 8 years. I would say that both deserve to be at the convention and speak. If Obama didn't need them - I sure they would be under the bus with Rev Wright and his grandmother.
Also - the Clintons are the ones that invited Obama to give a major speach at Clintons nomination several years ago.
I think Obama is choosing Gov Richards as his VP. This will be bad since most of Hillary supporters hate the guy.

    • Posted By: raddave @ 08/12/2008 2:46:56 AM

Clinton had the most popular votes only using "Hillary math." Obama gave his speach in 2004, eight years after Clinton's last election.

      • Posted By: legume @ 08/13/2008 8:25:43 AM

wrong. more people actually pulled the lever for Sen Clinton than barry. period.

  • Posted By: Dougsky @ 08/11/2008 2:52:28 PM

Why won't the Clintons just leave our nation in peace? They've got to be the most politically and economically destructive couple in the country. What they need is a nice dual fatal heart attack to reward them both for their "contributions" to our society.

    • Posted By: loriw @ 08/11/2008 4:32:56 PM

wow and I thought I was venomous toward the Clintons but I think you've go me beat. I never wished them dead...

      • Posted By: legume @ 08/13/2008 8:20:07 AM

but your words are just as foul. it's just a matter of degree and lack of maturity.

    • Posted By: legume @ 08/13/2008 8:18:58 AM

how old are you? 15? where were you during the clinton presidency? in diapers? "politically and economically destructive couple in the country"?? do you realize how absolutely ignorant that is? who left office with a 65% approval rating. "leave our nation in peace"? that's exactly how he left office and there was a budget surplus and economic prosperity. do you have idea how stupid you obamabots are? and a "nice dual heart attack to reward them both for their " contributons" to our society. what you said is no different than saying clinton fans hope barry gets assassinated. completely unacceptable evil thoughts. do you even read your words? heard of karma?

    • Posted By: Davole @ 08/11/2008 6:18:32 PM

      Dougsky =

You're entitled to criticize and show contempt for the Clintons, but the "dual fatal heart attack" wish is unwarranted and beyond reproach!

Idiocracy! Obama has done everything right...but 'doing-right' is only par for him and exceptional for everybody else!. If McCain had the trip to Europe Obama had all the pundits would glorify him as the new leader of America and revel in the respect he's given abroad and how he's gonna take America forward and be more of a world leader and not just an American leader blah blah blah. But let Barack do it? and it's all wrong! Hillary wants the nomination....she really believes she is 'owed' the nomination. This is her best chance to be president. If Barack wins now and does a great job in the white house she will have no chance in 2012. 2016? She'd be pretty old.....the old jokes go over a little easier with McCain cause he's a guy....the press and Utube would eat granny alive.

Long story short America is just showing that it is still a very racist country....Alot of white people don't openly admit it but do believe that all other races are supposed to serve at their pleasure. People may 'live' freely in America but that does not necessarily meen they are equal partakers in the what has been sold as the 'American Dream'.

I hardly believe Obama will be president although I will vote for and support him whole-hearted. There are forces at work that if you pay close attention are paranoid at the idea of him being president! Why? Because the power that comes with that office will be too great. He would have access to whatever he wants to have access to. All the archives. Everything!
It would be more than just a black AMERICAN presidient - it would change the course of history...too much work has been done and too many secrets suppressed to allow such a thing to happen.

However, I'm just a spectator and I can't wait to see how it plays out....it's a great time to be alive - God Bless American and All of Mankind Around The World

    • Posted By: legume @ 08/13/2008 8:12:22 AM

too much Kool-aid evidently leads to paranoia...

  • Posted By: bakkakkaw @ 08/11/2008 8:13:17 PM

I don't know why the media is still focusing on division instead of unity regarding Clinton-Obama.
I don't totally agree with Bill at 100%, but the media does ignore the second part of his answer:
Obama should win and he will win.
I believe that Hillary wants to be president in 2012 or 2016, so she does not have any interest to boy cot Obama.
during the third democratic debate, she said:
no matter what happens between Barack and I during the campaign, who ever becomes the the nominee will support each other. Why the media does not play such a positive statement ?
Negative , always negative just to divide the party.

    • Posted By: legume @ 08/13/2008 8:05:02 AM

don't you know? the MSM had two goals: one totally destroy Sen Clinton and two make sure barry wins.

  • Posted By: ByTheSeaWa @ 08/12/2008 8:58:43 PM

LIKEITIS - you are SO right! IF Clinton got the nomination the Republicans and Independents that are voting for Obama would leave in droves. So would many Dems. They are truly an embarrassment and if the recent Edwards scandal doesn't remind everyone of that, it should. There are MANY who can advise Obama, he doesn't need ol' snarly Bill and his party buddies. I'd rather here ANYONE else speak besides the Clintons!

  • Posted By: NOBAMA'08 @ 08/11/2008 5:33:37 PM

As a former Clinton Supporter, I have even gone beyond what most have done, and have officially changed my party affiliation to Independent, along with the rest of my voting family members. We've been long time party supporters until now! We will support John Mc Cain in the November election as a protest for the treatment of our canidate by the DNC! If the DNC convention is tense, it's because Mr. Obama made it that way!

    Obama's Impending Pearl Harbor »
    By Larry Johnson
    Email: larry_johnson@earthlink.net
    Site: http://NoQuarterUSA.net

After a very productive time (working, not playing) in Hawaii, I believe that the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor is an apt metaphor for what awaits Barack Obama if he becomes the Democrat's official nominee. Michelle's "whitey" tape and the controversy over his birth certificate are the least of his concerns. Opponents of Obama and some proponents of McCain have acquired information that will rapidly erase any memory of the audacity and perfidy of John Edwards.

The surprise attack by the Japanese should not have caught the US fleet at Pearl Harbor unawares. There were advanced warnings that people in key positions ignored or shrugged off as unimportant. Well, guess what boys and girls? Similar warnings are now in the hands of the Democratic leadership and they are choosing to ignore the flashing red lights that signal danger ahead.

Just today, courtesy of the Rocky Mountain News, we confirmed that Barack aka Barry Soetoro Obama was a citizen of Kenya since 1963. Barack has yet to stipulate when he renounced or relinquished that citizenship. That will be a distracting issue in the upcoming campaign. Americans don't want to elect a Kenyan as President. It is that simple.

But then there is the Indonesian problem and his Hawaiian birth certificate. Read the rest @NoQuarterUsa.net

    NOBAMA!!!

    • Posted By: raddave @ 08/11/2008 5:17:29 AM

Obama may very well be a citizen of Kenya. the U.S. allows dual citizenship. Arnold Swarzenegger is a citizen of the U.S. and Autstria.

I beg to differ with LORIW's comments with regard to a nurse who traveled with Air Forc One. I worked in the Clinton White House, in the residence itself, for 6.5 years and never once saw a president who had imbibed. His step father was an alcoholic and President Clinton never drank because of that. At official functions, he would toast with water. Someone has told LORIW something that is not true.

    • Posted By: loriw @ 08/08/2008 7:03:07 PM

and i beg to differ with you. Bill even has the big red nose classic of someone who drinks heavily. You say you worked in the WH for 6.5 years...under what administration did you work. I'm guessing it was not Clintons. The staff dispised the Clintons esp Hillary because she treated them like servants instead of people who may have helped elect her husband. The Clintons forget that the POTUS works for the people of the US and not the other way around. I'll be watching for your reply. I trust my source.

      • Posted By: WHSocialSecy @ 08/08/2008 8:23:14 PM

President Clinton's "big red nose" (your description) along with his red face is caussed by roseacea. He has suffered from that for decades. Look into the records of his annual physical - or better still, ask your source who seems to know him quite intimately.

        • Posted By: loriw @ 08/08/2008 8:57:18 PM

According to Mayo Clinics web site a risk factor for ROSACEA, not roseacea, is ALCOHOL.!
          go figure.

          • Posted By: raddave @ 08/12/2008 3:07:24 AM

Rosacea is a gentic disorder that affects mainly affects fair-skinned people of European and Celtic origins. It has nothing to with alcohol. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosacea#Causes

          • Posted By: Right is RIGHT!!! @ 08/09/2008 3:32:25 AM

            http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/rosacea/DS00308/DSECTION=causes

This link is from the Mayo Clinic about Rosacea. One thing is certain ??? alcohol doesn't cause rosacea. While the consumption of alcohol can lead to flushing of the skin and may worsen rosacea, people who don't consume alcohol at all still can get rosacea.

      • Posted By: what? @ 08/09/2008 1:14:24 PM

more of the same. you know nothing about the Clintons but you sure have a lot of sources. this one have a last name?

      • Posted By: WHSocialSecy @ 08/08/2008 8:21:20 PM

Another thing, Hillary treated her direct staff with respect. She was actually quite generous to her direct reports in particular. And knowing her front a more personal perspective, she was very smart and very fun-loving. She actually isn't the witch you seem to portray her to be. I enjoyed working for her.

Celebrity phony leader who accused Hillary of playing Gender card is crying foul playing Race card. The no sense guy who accused Hillary of Flip Flopping after over a period of observations Hillary changed her position on Iraq (when 9/11 panic mode idrained away from all leaders) is shamelessly flipping and flopping to glory every minute on every issue he touches; shame on Barack.. Is Barack man enough to apologize to Hillary ? before asking Hillary supporters votes???. & by the way he is no match for the partriotic McCain. I am one Democrat who will vote for Mccain for sure

    • Posted By: olderwiser @ 08/11/2008 8:03:29 PM

Is Gender Cards anything like bridge, or more like poker? Where are these Gender Cards Casinos located? And Race Cards. Horse or human race? Lotsa card playing. Lots of Celebrity. Is Celebrity anything like Celerity? Accusing someone of Flip Flopping. Is this done in a Flophouse? Where does the Flip come in. If it's shameless flipping and flopping, is it some new kind of sex act? Our language is just going to the toilet. Why can't people just lay out the facts and get off all this crappy slang?

      • Posted By: olderwiser @ 08/11/2008 8:09:31 PM

And Phony. That's another word that really applies today. Everywhere you go there's somebody with a phone held to an ear not looking where they are going. Supermarket, mall, everywhere. The worst is those on the road. Very few of them can tell where they are going. This is getting to be the phoniest bunch of people I have ever seen. There just can't be that much worth talking about every minute of the day. I want whoever that leader of the phoners is, whether she is a celebrity or not to tell her followers to put the damn phone back in her purse and watch where she is going. Get 'em, Goodman. Stop the phoners.

        • Posted By: olderwiser @ 08/11/2008 8:12:04 PM

I will say, though, Goodman, that I am confused by your vote. If you are voting for Mc Cain, then you are a Republican, aren't you? I'm pretty sure that this is correct.

          • Posted By: olderwiser @ 08/11/2008 8:14:44 PM

Matter of fact, I'm certain that Mc Cain didn't change parties because there is just no room on the Obama ticket for him to run. Unless, of course, Obama chose Mc Cain as his running mate. Bet that's it. You've got inside information.

Am always pleased each time i see you in the msnbc discussions roundtable because of your unbiased view of American politic. Yet i believe you sometimes in good faith forget how racial America is. Electing Senator Obama as President means more than electing the first Black President, It will lead to the return of America as the corkiest country on earth.
Could anybody tell me why is wrong that 200,000 Europeans welcoming an American citizen. Germans use to complain that the security cost, controlling anti Bush anti American protester is the most wasteful tax PAYERs MONEY EVER SPEND PROTECTING A FORIGNE LEADER.
That the American Media including you will ridicule an American Citizen enthusiastically cheered by the very world we claim to lead, is a moral disgrace.
WHY ON EARTH DO EVERY ???.JURNALIST, NEWSANCHORS, POLITICIANS, BUSH, McCAIN AND OBAMA SHOUTS DAILY EVEN ON SPEECHES THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PATROTISIM (the greatest country on earth, the greatest workers on earth) IF IS BIZARRE to love America

  • Posted By: lahaikemo @ 08/11/2008 12:14:40 PM

Many democrats are very nervous. They are now aware that Senator Obama is not the strongest to go up against the Republicans. The Democrats fear of being tagged racist led them to this risky position. Senator clinton, clearly was the better and stronger candidate of the 2 as was demonstrated in the waining days of the primaries. The only redemption now is Hilary as the Vp or another 4yrs of misery from the GOP

Just One Question for Newsweek editors. The liberal biased MSM was so deft in keeping the Edwards news from appearing on their pages.. for many reasons as they explain. Is that good journalism? So next more relevant question is .. how many things have you pushed into the deep end of the drawer when it came to your favourite son, Barack Obama? We, as readers are saying it again and again. You guys gave him a free pass for reasons beyond our reach. The MSM plays god. But there are many other things out there as you are slowly understanding. As I remember seeing Bliitzer standing dumpfounded when 2004 election results came out, not still believing Kerry lost, I will say, get ready for DeJa Vu.
