The ‘Process’ President

I agree with Eleanor that is what we need. I am a process engineer for the healthcare industry and what you do is set out your goal and then reverse engineer the processes to get to your goal. Then write the policies. Its a bottom up approach. Not the top down policy first approach. The Federal government and all its branches are functional departments, not process departments... This will get rid of billions of dollars in government administrative costs. If you redesign government you reduce your cycle times and get rid of waste plus you have indicators to see how this process is really working...You apply the scientific principle and tweek the system and its processes until it produces the desired results...This is the change that is needed...McCain or Palin would not have a clue what I am talking about as the rest of the readers in this blog...Obama is techno savy by just the way he is running this whole election and I wouldn't be surprised if he carries his grass roots websites into the Whitehouse so that the people of this country would be able to supply ideas and solve problems on major issues...He has a bottom up approach to his candicacy and yes he is a process president and that is exactly what is needed to solve these problems domestically...

Just because someone actually considers a question they don't have the knoweledge base? That lacks a base of reason!

Obama is as much of a process guy as Bush was a business guy. Both are just typical politicians, who would say and do anything to get elected. If you doubt that this is true regarding Obama then read Rev. Wright???s comments about this. He knows Obama for 20+ years, he is like his uncle, he should know. As far as the debates: yes Obama is better looking and taller, which for some odd reason seems to be important for the average American. However, every time I heard Obama speaking unscripted without a teleprompter he did not sound convincing. I watched all the democratic debates, and aside of a couple of obviously pre-practiced zingers Obama was clearly not up to Clinton or Edwards, or most of the other democratic candidates. McCain on the other hand is very much at ease talking freely without a script. I am pretty sure that if these debates were radio debates instead of TV debates McCain could easily beat Obama. With the visual advantage of a younger taller guy he may be able to win, but I would not take it as granted, as Ms. Cilft seems to do.

and while we are at it, for you people out there who don't know any better...cerebral is NOT a synonym for intelligent in of itself...it means to use your brain instead of a gut feeling, to have a rational response instead of a wife's tale, to be rational instead of emotional, stupid or "unintelligent" is not the opposite of cerebral...so please stop do cerebral vs stupid commentaries, thanks!

Harley, just because you ask a question, doesn't mean someone has to answer it...let alone on your terms.

Ms. Clift, as you can see from the responses here, it has nothing to do with a cerebral design. It is an entropic design, destined to fall in on itself over time.

Independent analysts, working separately, claim to have discovered that the original Hawaiian Certificate of Live Birth used in the fabrication of the Barack Obama "birth certificate" belongs to the Presidential candidate's younger half-sister, Maya.

Examining the high resolution image originally posted by the "Daily Kos" left-wing blog and subsequently claimed as authentic by the campaign, and posted in lower resolution on the campaign official "Fight the Smears" website, at least two analysts have been able to independently discern the name "Maya Kassandra Soetoro" from artifacts left behind in the process of forging a new fake document for Barack from an image of Maya's original document. Additional confirmatory information, such as her birthday and the nationality of her father have also been resurrected. A full report documenting all details is to be published in the coming days. Israel Insider has not yet seen proof that would validate the claim.

The dramatic claim comes just a day after a forensic specialist, posting on the Texas Darlin blog under the name Techdude (his real name is known to Israel Insider), announced the discovery of the identity of the original owner of the COLB document used in the forgery but would initially only indicate that it was a woman born in the 1970's. However, he provided enough clues to enable another graphic specialist (screen name KG) to independently reproduce the incriminating evidence. (Techdude had said that he wanted to give the guilty parties time to confess to the forgery, but also to allow independent confirmation of his discovery. He even offered to pay for a trip to Vegas to the first person to discover the name and detail the method by which it was discovered.

If you think about it John McCain plan for forty-five new nuclear power plants is reasonable, needed and attainable. Our current 108 nuclear power plants supply twenty (20) percent of our electricity requirements. This is amazing considering that it has been thirty years since there has been new construction on new nuclear power plants anywhere in the United States. Construction on new nuclear power plants has occurred throughout the world but not in the United States thanks to Democratic leadership. In France, nuclear power supplies 80 percent of their electricity needs. Because 108 nuclear power plants are generating twenty percent of our needs, an additional 45 nuclear power plants will only increase the percentage of nuclear power to roughly 28 percent of our needs well short of French eighty percent nuclear power generation of electricity. John McCain proposals are reasonable and will help lead us to energy independence. Democrats under the leadership of Barack Obama want to study the issue for another 30 years. By that time the only remaining United States builder of nuclear power plants General Electric will have gone the way of Westinghouse and sold its nuclear construction division to a foreign owned company Toshiba Corporation of Japan. Given the Democratic led hostile business environment for nuclear power in the United States, we will have no United States owned companies capable of building nuclear power plants.

The reality is that one nuclear power plant will have a greater contribution to our energy independence than all the contributions of solar, wind, and thermal energy. Only the proposals of John McCain on nuclear power, offshore drilling, wind, and solar energy will make the idea of United States energy independence a reality.

While camping and attending a bluegrass music festival, I took a tour of Comanche Peak Power Plant,the last nuclear power plant built in the United States. The plant is unobtrusive and is at perfect harmony with its environment. It is located near Glen Rose Texas a beautiful area that has bluegrass band festivals in the summer. It is a wonderful scenic country area and home to Dinosaur World and a state park. There are dinosaur tracks from 100 million years ago that some say are heading in the direction of New York City. The Brazos river flows through and the place is an environmental heaven. There is old green Sinclair Oil Company dinasour statue that stands at the park. Ironically most of the stations and assets of Sinclair Oil Company was bought by Arco Oil Company and Arco was bought out later by foreign owned British Petroleum during the second administration of Bill Clinton. The point of this comment is that nuclear power plants can even be located next to wonderful wildlife and park areas and make good unobtrusive neighbors. Nuclear power is a friend of the environment and does not emit green house gases.

He is not cerebral. He is likable and that is it. This election is proof only that Americans will buy anything in a bottle as long as the packaging looks and feels good.

This article is so off base. The left loonies want to present Hussein as some great intellectual. He is no such thing.

Hussein is a "LEARNER" not a "THINKER". Very good memorization skills. That is why his prepared speeches are so effective. He is not a person who has new ideas. He is basically a parrot.
