The left knows they own Newsweek so presenting a well out position will be distorted by all the enviromental wacko's who knew the editorial position will favor global warming and give scare tactics about drilling in Anwar and of the Continental shelf. The middle class has been shafted by the liberals and envriomental socialists who desire power and damn the middle class. They want to control what we can drive, where we can go and probably what size of house we can build. If that is the life you want vote for Obama.

What, exactly is "misleading" in this ad. I think the criticisim would correctly be lack of detail, but it is, after all, a short television advertisement. Methinks "FactCheck.org" and "Newsweek" are showing their liberal desperation in a grasp at nonexistent straws.

factcheck.org is a not partisian organization that has criticized both candidates.

The lies keep flowing from the McCain camp regarding taxes and energy.
I can only hope that the media does not make more mistakes as to let this go with out the truth!
The media failed the nation before the Iraq War and during the war- get off your duffs and narrate the difference between the two candidates! just the truth!
