Obama needs Bill Clinton to advise on how to wage the Americans Suck First campaign Bill waged for 8 years from the Oval Office.
But Obama does not do that bad of a job waging the discrimination campaigns within that banner campaign! It doesn't need a Clinton to wage it against Americans! ( Sorry Hillary! You are expendable!).
if the mainstream news media is having second thoughts about that, it's too late!

THIS IS WHAT THE LIBERALS SUPPORT ! THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WOMANS RIGHT TO CHOOSE THIS IS MURDER PLAIN AND SIMPLE ! OBAMA REFUSED TO SIGN A BILL STOPPING THIS ! Late Term Abortion ??? The procedures
There are three general procedures of late-term abortions and partial birth abortions. The first and most popular is called D&E (Dilation and evacuation). Once the cervix is dilated, the fetus is removed by inserting forceps into the uterus. The Fetus is then separated into pieces. These ???pieces??? of your baby will be removed one at a time. Vacuum aspiration is then used to ensure no tissue remains in the uterus.

The second procedure is early induction of labor. This is very painful and intense for the woman and is rarely used as an abortion procedure.

The third procedure is called Intact D&X surgery. This procedure includes a 2-3 day process to gradually dilate the cervix using sticks of seaweed which absorb fluid and swell. Once this process is finished, the doctor uses forceps and grasps the baby???s leg to turn it to breech position. The baby is then pulled out of the birth canal, leaving the head inside the canal. An incision is then made at the base of the baby???s skull and the brain tissue is removed, causing the skull to collapse. The entire baby is then removed.

I have been, I guess the word is lurking around these boards for a while, I have posted a few times before but I prefer reading the posts, and I have to say that the level of rage amoung some Clinton supporters is absolutely horrible. There is no logic behind this, at this time in US history, they are choosing to vote for someone who will continue to lead us on the path that we have been on for the last 8 years. Shame on you. I to voted for Sen. Clinton during the primaries and was very upset that she didn't win, but it was a contest. True there were quite a bit of sexism and racisim being thrown around, but we really need to work to get past this. The goal, for me at least, is to make sure that John McCain out of the white House.

    I did notice one blogger in particular that appears to have multiple personalities and runs around growling and foaming at the mouth at others like a rabid Chihuahua. All of her posts are extremely condescending and deliberately vicious for no reason. She claims to be a Clinton supporter, but the Hillary Clinton that I supported would be ashamed to call this person one of her base. This person goes by the following tag names;

    123waz
    zrrr
    legume
    xczy14
    what?

In my opinion this person is just an angry woman spitting her venom because that is all she has. I shall name her Sybil the multi-personality angry Chihuahua!

    • Posted By: 12waz @ 08/15/2008 8:15:36 PM

wow! youre spending alotta time on people you don't know. Thanks for putting me in your top 5! My guess? You're SJPersonal. Either way thanks so much for spending so much of your day exposing your soul with your words.

"multiple personalities and runs around growling and foaming at the mouth at others like a rabid Chihuahua. All of her posts are extremely condescending and deliberately vicious for no reason. She claims to be a Clinton supporter,"

condescending & deliberately vicious for no reason? foaming at the mouth?

you obviously dont even know me or the others. this is hysterical stop while youre ahead and go back to sjpersonal. and I never voted for Clinton and neither did you. Your words spell it out clearly: "but it was a contest" not a single Clinton supporter no matter who they vote for would call it a contest. please stop.

There is something wrong with you, although I did post something similiar about you and 2, I believe others on this list. I DO NOT USE ANY OTHER NAME! I HAVE NO REASON TO HID FROM ANYONE ESPECIALLY YOU.

SORRY YOU ARE WRONG. But thanks for thinking about me LOL!

NRICHARDS: Are you posting this everywhere? Because I can tell you straight up that three of them are different people, one of them is a man and none are Clinton supporters. I know one of them is a man and they are not new posters. And there for sure not "deliberately vicious and deliberately condescending" I have seen them for months and they use Obama supporter's own words how little they know of Obama. And that seems to tick Obama supporters off. Two of them know more about Obama than any Obama supporter I know. Maybe that is why.

And why do Obama supporters continue to bash Sen Clinton supporters? it makes absolutely no sense. What is the use?

Personally, I have never seen your name before and I have been commenting in here since March. Are you Jonathan Alter going after some more people?

So how do you get off make allegations like that? And look at what you wrote yourself about them "this person is just an angry woman spitting her venom because that is all she has. I shall name her Sybil the multi-personality angry Chihuahua! gnawing and foaming at the mouth" Whose deliberately vicious? I mean look at what you're saying about them.

Thank you Nuttie Dickie. I liked the Alter line.

      • Posted By: NRichards @ 08/15/2008 2:27:51 PM

I Do Not Believe YOU! Clear enough? There is no need for further communication regarding this matter as I have stated my beliefs and will not recant. Therefore if there is any other topic that you wish to discuss, that will be fine but this topic is closed.

So by all means rant away, as there is absolutely nothing that you can comment that will upset me. I sincerely hope that you have a very very pleasant weekend.

123waz was vicious to me last week and made accusations that weren't true.
So I'd have to say from personal experience I disagree on that point.

        • Posted By: dick kay @ 08/14/2008 8:22:28 PM

Provide me a link and I'll check it out. I have never seen anything vicious from the three I know. I have seen your posts and they could qualify as "vicious".

          • Posted By: loriw @ 08/15/2008 2:42:55 AM

Yep i am guilty as charged about being vicious but it has not been directed at the bloggers here. I have minced no words when it comes to Bill Clinton's and John Edwards adultery and lying to the American public about the affairs. I minced no words when I stated that a woman who chooses to have sex with a man she knows is married is a slut (Hunter or whatever her real name is). So there you have my written confession.

Hillary was a briiliant, accomplished young woman before she met Bill, and she was destined for greatness. After her commencement speech against the Vietman war in 1969, many of her fellow classmates conculded she would be thee first female president someday. On her own, she was listed as onne of the youngest women amongst the top 100 lawyers nationally, If she never hitched with Bill, we likely would have had our first female presidnet already - Hillary ROdham.

    • Posted By: teddyo @ 08/17/2008 1:31:56 PM

Not so fast there. This country we live in is quiet ignorant. 2 weeks ago I spoke to a young white women. Do You know what she said to me? "I don't think a women would make a very good President". You got a up hill battle sister.

  • Posted By: careerdaytrader @ 08/14/2008 6:32:00 PM

Just as Jane Goodall studied monkeys I wanted to study another species of Animal - The Democrat.

In my experiment I stated that Hillary for 2012, Democrats unite vote Mc Cain this election and Hillary will win in a landslide in 2012.

Not once in my post did I say I was a woman. The Democrats in their BRILLIANCE on here ASSUMED that I was a woman. Once this occurred I just sat back and WATCHED the Democrats call me hormonal, my panties were in a bunch (don't wear panties obviously boxerbriefs if you must know, lol).

I thought Democrats were supposed to be the party of Unity? I thought there were supposed to WELCOME women into their party, embrace women, love women????? Boy was I shocked at all the ANTI-WOMEN remarks coming out of die hard Democrats mouths!!! The ignorance of Cloudosmoke and other dummies on here shocked me but even more so was the INTOLERANCE towards women and to the 18 million MEN and women who did vote for Hillary in the primaries. I would prefer Hillary a BILLION times over Obama and his socialist ideas as she is more intelligent, more experienced and her policies are clearly more thought out.

But nonetheless I decided to reveal my research. Democrats not only are dumber than an educated person could even imagine their OWN BELIEFS about what a Democrat is - Loving, Accepting, Non Judgemental, etc, etc is PURE BULLSHIT! The male Democrats reveal their TRUE nature - MISOGYNISTS.

For 90% of Democrats reading this Misogynists are men who hate, dislike or mistrust of women.

This Democratic convention is going to be HILARIOUS as angry Clinton voters are now going to be allowed to vent and show their anger at the election that was STOLEN from them.

In case you wonder who I really am, I'm a man, 37, 6 foot 5 and 252 lbs, bench 285 lbs 6 times, drive a BMW 335i and this year will make between $400k and $500k and have an IQ of 172. (maybe double the average Democrat on here, LOL)

    • Posted By: News and Notes @ 08/14/2008 10:23:54 PM

I'm not sure why you generalize about Democrats like that. Almost all of the 18 million Hillary voters in the primaries were democrats, including me. There has been some terse comments about Hillary by Obama supporters for months now, even in this particular blog, However, most Democrats are much more reasonable than you portray them to be.

      • Posted By: NRichards @ 08/15/2008 2:18:42 PM

And the same from Clinton Supporters, who have decided that they will not vote for Sen. Obama. Let's not forget that fact. It is not at all as though the Obama supporters are just running around on the blogs bashing Clinton for no reason. Sen. Obama has been compeltely and consistantely vilified by them and other McCain supporters.

        • Posted By: dick kay @ 08/15/2008 5:19:37 PM

I disagree vehemently. Why are Obama supporters--especially the usuals in here still bashing Sen Clinton? That's what makes absolutely no sense.

          • Posted By: loriw @ 08/15/2008 9:25:39 PM

Could it possibly be because we despise the Clinton's!

            • Posted By: News and Notes @ 08/17/2008 10:43:17 AM

If Obama supporters convince Hillary supporters that they despise the Clintons, McCain will win with 400 electoral votes, That doesn't seem like a well thought out strategy

        • Posted By: News and Notes @ 08/15/2008 4:15:31 PM

My comment was to acknowledge that despite their being terse comments about Hillary, that democrats are not misogynists, and we are, in fact reasonable. Obama is the presumptive nominee, so Hillary bashing seems counterproductive, especially in a blog about how Obama needs the Clintons.

          • Posted By: 12waz @ 08/15/2008 8:00:06 PM

Yeah if the barry supporters actually cared about him getting in the WH. They're more interested in bashing the Clintons. And from their comments it's clear some of them weren't even adults or can't remember the Clinton administration. I wonder how many of them are even able to vote.

        • Posted By: News and Notes @ 08/15/2008 4:17:19 PM

Most Hillary supporters are in fact supporing Obama. A few haven't decided yet, and some of the more moderate to conservative Hillary democrats have determined McCain is more closely aligned with their views than Obama

    • Posted By: dick kay @ 08/14/2008 7:48:48 PM

NRICHARDS is calling posters vicious angry women. It seems to be a theme. The "Democratic" Party has proven itself to be anything but Democratic. The superdelegates will be anointing their own chosen nominee. This election cycle is a forever illegitimate after those smoky room negotiations about Michigan. If the candidates were reversed would there be any question whether Obama would be on the ballot? It's an absolute farce. And not allowing Clinton delegates to vote for her after all they went through will never set right. This nomination is as undemocratic as it gets. How many absentee ballots will arrive in November from Landstuhl vs the Brandenburg Gate?

      • Posted By: NRichards @ 08/15/2008 2:22:13 PM

Let me be clear since you obviously have a problem with basic comprehension. One poster was labeled as an angry vicious woman and she is and I stand by this statement. You have never read any post by me referring to any other poster as such!

There is not always a reason to embellish information to prove your point!

        • Posted By: careerdaytrader @ 08/15/2008 3:03:28 PM

haha are you SURE you stand by this statement? LOL, too funny. I'm pretty sure you're referring to me and I'm a man. I never claimed to be a woman but once one of you GENIUS DEMOCRATS said I was a woman I thought this will now be really funny.

Boy was I shocked at the INTOLERANCE so many Democrats have towards women and/or in my case people they THINK are women. LOL you Democrats are a true RIOT! Hypocrite comes to mind.

Mc Cain is catching up and as Clinton's Dick Morris said in his article yesterday if Obama can't even stand up to the Clinton's how is he going to stand up to the Russians, Chinese, Iran, North Korea? Obama is such a panzy weak leader. He is so AFRAID to debate McCain. Mc Cain invited him to do 14 town hall meetings. Back then I actually had MORE respect for Obama and thought he'd accept. Turns out he's a coward like most Democrats. Too bad too as I was really looking forward to a serious Obama smack down!

          • Posted By: News and Notes @ 08/15/2008 4:21:37 PM

Your generalization of democrats may not be the most effective method to make your point. However, I am surprised that a relative unknown like Obama would not welcome the opportunity to have had more debates with Hillary, as many town hall meetings with McCain as possible, and challenging interviews by as many political reporters as possible, especially the conservative ones.It is very difficult to assess his candidacy otherwise.

            • Posted By: 12waz @ 08/15/2008 8:03:58 PM

That's why he's not doing it and why dean stopped anymore debates after the ABC. You saw how barry handled the hecklers. No way he could handle a townhall with Rep in the audience. Problem is he keeps racking up the lies.

          • Posted By: NRichards @ 08/15/2008 5:08:50 PM

NO! You are not, as I have not given you any thought whatsoever. But I am really really happy that you are so happy to be a man. Good for you

        • Posted By: dick kay @ 08/15/2008 5:32:37 PM

NRICHARDS: Why such venom? It continues on and on. "Basic comprehension"? I wrote that in reference to carerrdaytrader's comment: "Boy was I shocked at all the ANTI-WOMEN remarks coming out of die hard Democrats mouths!!!"

And I already told you--three of them are different people--one a man--so yes, by definition, you are saying that at least THREE--maybe FIVE--posters are angry women. You listed them there as one vicious women. And you were completely wrong. I told you this yesterday. Therefore you labeled more than one poster as vicious. Please don't try to engage me. It won't work. Reading a post a little closer certainly will. Go look at your original post. And I am still waiting for a single example. Having PIA second you is a little transparent and completely worthless. Show me something to prove your point - but please do not continue to make personal attacks on me.

Great News ! Today's state by state polls and the electoral map swayed to Mc Cain.

Yesterday it was Obama 284 and McCain 241 with 13 tied votes for Virginia.

Today we picked up Colorado which makes it Obama 275 and Mc Cain 250 with Virginia still tied.

Just to contrast this in 2004 SAME DAY Kerry had 327 and Bush 211.

Obama may get a bump after his Corronation ceremony but then comes the real deal, a debate and Obama is absolutely horrible when not reading off a teleprompter and not reading speeches his fantastic speechwriters made for him. He'll get destroyed in an apples to apples comparison against Mc Cain. Policy for Policy Obama losses in every one EXCEPT for Pro Life and the Iraq war.

I think most people care about keeping as much of their hard earned money as possible and want to KEEP THEIR JOBS and thus will vote for Mc Cain, the proven and experienced maverick over the crazy and scarry obama.

The fact that I also invest and TRADE stocks, futures, foreign currencies and also OIL does not make me a crook, it just makes me a hell of a lot smarter than you. Thus you gripe on here with other Democrats at how BAD YOUR LIVES are and I'm having the time of my life playing golf a few times a week, eating our or bringing take home almost every night and living in an area you'd dream of driving a car you wouldn't believe how fast and sexy it is. Don't even get me going over hot how my woman is, LOL. You couldn't handle her either. Democrats just give up. Neither Obama nor any other politician will help YOU turn YOUR life around. Work harder, go back to college and get another degree or probably your first one, save up, invest, buy a second house as an investment. There's many things you should be doing to improve your life, Obama will just mean you will soon lose the crappy job you now have and bring home LESS MONEY. Dumb plan!

Bill Clinton seems to believe that Hillary would have somehow redeemed his tarnished presidency. However, while everyone believes his strengths as president outweiged his behavior (having the affair when he knew the GOP was looking for something to accuse him of and then prevaricating instead of just telling the truth) the electorate didn't necessarily want the Clintons back in the White House. We forgave him is excesses--and although some of us questioned Hillary's enabling Bill, we were happy to see her forge her own career. But, again, it doesn't mean Democrats, let alone Independents, wanted to relive the drama of the Clintons. Hillary and Bill Clinton seem to need to live in the public eye--they've been political partners throughout their marriage and one has to wonder whether they are afraid of live alone with each other without constantly having a political campaign to hold them together. Hillary Clinton opened up this year because Obama's success forced her to. I can't help wondering what kind of woman she would have been if she hadn't "hitched her wagon" to Bill Clinton. She is more of a throwback to women of the 1950s than she realizes. In fact, I think Hillary is a mystery to herself. Maybe, at this stage of her life, she is beginning to find herself. The primary was a good start on her personal journey of discovery. Bill needs to find another way to redeem his tarnished presidency. He has used Hillary long enough--and she has been an enabler long enough.

It's his terms of IMPEACHMENT Clinton fears and future information emerging from the White House records and archives!
THATS why he needs to get Hillary in the Oval Office. We have not heard the last of how screwed up this idiot was. But the news media said he was The One! Just like they are saying of Obama. How come liberals don't question "authority" like their bumper sticker recommends?

      • Posted By: 12waz @ 08/15/2008 7:57:29 PM

how much worse can it be than IMPEACHMENT?

        • Posted By: thehappyamerican @ 08/16/2008 12:02:41 AM

More charges while you are an impeached President.! And new information can come to light at any time that might be ...compromising to Clinton! Remember, the senate sets the punishment. he was wrist slpped. But if he's up befor them again...? Woaw. and impeachment is for life!

          • Posted By: raddave @ 08/16/2008 12:15:11 AM

If there was somehing to bring up against Clinton, don't you think that in the last eight years it would have come out?

            • Posted By: thehappyamerican @ 08/16/2008 3:40:32 PM

              No,respectfully.
There is constant flow of new information emerging about all of our Presidents, even going back to Washington. Some from research of documents and other is forensic! And some are one-time SECRETS being declassified and divulged.
We can learn more about a former President in greater detail than decorum and privacy permits us to view a current President.
With an impeachment over his head (for life) Bill can't afford to regard any newly released information as HARMLESS to him! He's stressing! And an impeached president can be hauled back in for questions of newly discovered information .
He should have resigned. Now you see why Nixon did rather than force impeachment on himself!
Clinton is not a smart guy! That impeachment thing was NOT the simple little wrist slap a lot of people believed at the the time!

      HOPE1906:

Your post is so very sad. You have no clue who Sen Clinton is and your generalities smack of ignorance and bias. Are you a man? Sen Clinton a throwback to the 1950"s completely reveals your ignorance. And this: "some of us questioned Hillary's enabling Bill," Who is "US"? And who are you to judge or question someone you do not know--no matter what you think or how public her life has been. "Hillary Clinton opened up this year because Obama's success forced her to." Absolutely crazy. Sad very sad.

      • Posted By: Mimi13 @ 08/15/2008 11:53:29 PM

I think HOPE made some good points, although I'd update Hillary Clintron to the 60s instead of the 50s. Here's my reasoning: Although she had her ivy league law degree and a growing career of her own in Washington, DC, she chose to chuck it all to follow Bill Clinton to Arkansas and become a helpmate to HIS career. To be sure, she had some successes after that -- but they were largely because she was Bill Clinton's wife, not because she was Hillary. She tied her career to his to such an extent that she could not walk away, even when staying meant enduring public humiliation. They became a team, and she had no platform from which to operate without him. As a Senator, a postion her husband never held, Hillary began to find an independent path. But once she started running for president, she was, once again, dependent upon Bill for her position. She accepted the hypothesis that she was especially fitted for the presidency because she was the wife of an ex-president. She based her campaign on this, to the point of turning little girls carrying flowers in Bosnia into snipers carrying guns. IF she had discounted the First Lady years and run on her own Senate record, her own vision, her own promise of change and the future, she might well be the Democratic nominee. But she ran as Bill's wife.

I'm going to send Senator Obama an e-mail and tell him to read this story. Considering that both candidates want to TAX THE HEDGE FUND DEALERS, that's why our economy is in the shape it is in because of unequal taxation. There are approximately five big investment banks that virtually control the HEDGE FUNDS and the QUESTIONABLE DERIVATIVES that they are now trying to sell to the pension funds. They have gotten the Commercial banks in trouble and caused the housing crisis so it's going to take Senator Obama and Senator Clinton, who both want to TAX HEDGE FUND DEALERS and just to show the multinational corporations that they mean business, he should take Ralph Nader as his Treasury Secretary . Someone has to call their bluff that say that "Taxes should be based on ability to pay." The middle class is getting tired of these free-loading multinational corporations.

You are NOT a blue dog democrat. Blue Dogs promote fiscal conservatism and accountability. Most members come from conservative districts where liberal Democrats conprise a minority of the population.

Your support of tax increases and the BIGGEST SPENDING INCREASE in US History (FREE Health Care for everybody) makes you the OPPOSITE of a Blue Dog Democrat.

I like Blue Dog Democrats and sir you are not one!

Anyone that wants to know what a Blue Dog Democrat is should look it up on the Web. They believe in Paygo (Pay As You Go) and they consist of 49 Democrats in the House of Represnetatives. Senator John McCain says that Senator Obama wants to tax a person making $42,000 a year but that's a lie. Senator Obama wants to tax anyone making over $250,000 up to a billionaire. He wants to TAX THE HEDGE FUND DEALERS especially anyone headquarted offshore down in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. They don't want to pay any tax. They want to take the money and go to a foreign country and they call that free enterprise. They should put some regulations on those HEDGE FUNDS and those EXOTIC DERIVATIVES they are using that caused the housing crisis. If you don't believe me, just read the book, "The Trillion Dollar Meltdown" by Charles Morris who is a former banker. He talks about the HEDGE FUND DEALERS that were involved with the investment banks and also the role that former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan played in all of this. Incidentally, he liked Paul Volcker, a true conservative.

Anyone that is curious about what a Blue Dog Democrat is,should look it up on the Web. They believe in Paygo (Pay As You Go). They consist of 49 Democrats in the House of Representatives. Senator McCain says that Senator Obama wants to tax anyone that is making $42,000 which is a lie. What the truth is though, is that Senator Obama wants to raise the taxes on anyone making over $250,000 on up to billionaires. He wants to TAX THE HEDGE FUND DEALERS, especially the ones headquarted offshore in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands that don't pay any federal income tax. The corporate free-loaders that believe in trickle-down. You don't tax us and we'll take the money and run to a foreign country and call it free enterprise. Since the federal debt has doubled since President George W. Bush has been in office and he keeps borrowing from Social Security to pay the bills, I would definitely say the Republicans don't believe in anything the Blue Dog Democrats do. The new so-called conservatives believe in borrowing and going into debt and if you don't believe me, just read the book, "The Trillion Dollar Meltdown" by Charles Morris who is a former banker. He talks a lot about the housing crisis and about how the HEDGE FUNDS used the investment bankers and those EXOTIC DERIVATIVES and just exactly how former Fed Chariman Alan Greenspan was involved in the whole thing. Incidentally, he liked Paul Volcker, a true conservative.

I think the Clinton's need to let go along with her supporters. They are only making it harder for her. She lost and can't go back. All those supporters are doing is giving the Republicans ammuntion agaist the Dems.

If Obama would embrace her and Bill, maybe he could repair some of the damage his divisive campaign has done, but he doesn't want to. Fine with me. Kick the Clintons out of your party Obama. Make it a clean break so we know where you really stand and the way you would work to unite the party (and our country) by excluding those you don't like.

      • Posted By: sjpersonal @ 08/12/2008 12:08:04 PM

What divisive campaign. Please name one FACTUAL thing that Obama, not his supporters, did or said that was divisive. Also how is Obama attempting to kick the Clintons out of the Democratic Party? When has Obama ever been anything but respectful of the Clintons. You and other Clinton/McCain supporters have made these types of statements more than once and I personally would really like to know when any of this happened.

        • Posted By: zrrr @ 08/13/2008 4:00:03 PM

Check it out. See if it seems familiar.
          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcdnlNZg2iM

Remember Obama spoke about unity! change! transcending race! no old washington politics! and yet he has allowed the party to remain divided (it is his responsibility - not Sen Clinton's) allowed the Clinton's to be painted as racists (no matter what you believe - Obama should have said, hey, I'm half-white, let's chill) no old politics? he let his surrogates say the most foul things - they are his responsibility - and he never once said stop it (it doesn't matter what you feel the Clinton camp did--they didn't claim as their platform above the fray!)

Claiming he is a man of judgment and integrity? If he was, he would have stood up for the candidate who has made his children's lives so much better. He has proven himself to be nothing of what he claims. It has nothing to do with anything the Clinton camp may or may not have done to him -- he did nothing to stop it.

And I personally would really like to know why you haven't researched it yourself? To believe something does not exist, one must consider the possibility that it does and prove it doesn't. Waiting for someone to prove it to you means you aren't that interested in finding out.

I was really hoping that you would be able to reply in an mature fashion, but I will respond anyway.

            1. What race card, when did he play the race card during their campaigning. Remember the rules it has to be something that Obama said.

            2. What lies specifically did he say about Clinton in his ads. I will look up your reply to this question

            3. Blame the Boomers, don't understand this reply

            4. Clinton has referred to Obama as Barrack several times during her campaign. How exactly is this disrespectul. Did he refer to her as that woman, because that would definitely be disrespectful.

            I await your reply.

              Who is being immature?

              Lastworditis again.

              1. I've answered this question before and grow tired of repeating myself. Perhaps you could go back and read my posts again. Obama was appealing to the black vote with ads targeted to them on black radio stations, using an "us vx. them" approach that reflected the Afrocentric perspective preached by Rev. Wright. Obama introduced race in the primaries with his "great" race speech, in which he lied about his "typical" white grandmother using racially derogatory language in his presence. There are other instances, but you really don't want to know. I posted the links for you in the past, you are just playing dumb. But here is one that tells the truth about his grandmother in case you forgot:
              http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2008-04-07-obamagrandma_N.htm

              2. Go to factcheck - especially the oilslick one and the comparative legislative records.

              3. I've posted this before for you too, but here you go again: "The time has come, Senator Barack Obama says, for the baby boomers to get over themselves. ... Obama calculates that Americans of all ages are sick of the feuding boomers. He has run ads reinforcing the right's bamboozlement that Social Security is running out of money! The language in his ad implies that Social Security's retirement payments are responsible for the shortfall, and does not say that the trust fund was taken to pay for Reagan and Bush's tax cuts," Dave Johnson wrote October 29, 2007, at Seeing the Forest.

I was talking about during the debates, a formal occasion, not post primary comments when HRC is doing her best to show her support for the Ba-Rock-Star by using the familiar first name as though they are close friends. Typically she used "Senator Obama" when referring to him, while Obama typically referred to her as "Hillary" - which nomenclature suggests he felt she was someone he can refer to by first name even if they are not good friends, someone beneath his stature.

And then there was that incident with the female reporter he called "sweetie" when he was putting her off.

                LOL.

Ok I will only address several parts of your rants. I find it amazing that you are able to state what was said between Obama and his grandmother. How astute of you!

Secondly, yes Sen. Clinton did refer to Obama by his first name during her campaign. They knew each other from the senate so I do not see how this could have been seen as disrespectul to anyone but one of your coup members.

And since you are becoming nasty, please do not reply to any of my comments and I will award you the same!

            • Posted By: zrrr @ 08/13/2008 4:57:22 PM

Obama let his surrogates refer to Sen Clinton as Hillary. He never once corrected them. They are colleagues and call each other by their first names. Surrogates, MSM - no.

How many times did he step up and tell the MSM to stop their vicious sexist attacks on Sen Clinton--attacks he later admitted were wrong.

Dodd, his surrogate, said, and I quote directly: "Leave THAT WOMAN alone!"

Obama said of Hilton supporters to just get over it.

Obama forgot to ask his supporters to donate to Sen Clinton, which was the sole purpose of that event. It was clearly intentional.

Obama made a comment at Unity about how he didn't know how she did it in heels. You may not find that offensive or sexist - but it is. Not worthy of debating.

And you're wrong about "rules". Obama is responsible for every single one of his surrogates. "Old Washington" means hiding behind surrogates and not coming forward to "denounce or reject" what his surrogates said.

Obama let Michelle Bernard go on MSNBC to attack Clinton about the RFK statement - that later Obama admitted was wrong.

There are many many more but not worth recounting here because I don;t believe you have an open mind. How much research have you done on your candidate? How much of SC did you investigate first hand? Did you know that Rev Jess Jackson was not at all offended at what Mr Clinton said? Did you read the NY Times article? Did you watch the You Tube video? Do you know what question the reporter asked to bait Mr Clinton? Did you watch the "Fairy tale" video? What Mr Clinton said was completely factual about Obama's position on Iraq. The MSM misrepresented it as Mr Clinton saying Obama was a fairy tale. And every single one of you take it as fact.

Did you read the memo sent out before SC? The one that had a list of presumably "racists" comments (shuck and jive?) made by the Clinton camp. They had this prepared previous to any of Bill's statements. Did you know any of this? Do you believe anything I have to say? I don't care. You can no longer write you want information I've given you all the information you need to check things out.

And as for how is Obama kicking the Clintons out - he has done nothing to bring them in. Obama is the presumptive nominee and as such is the ruling member of the Dem Party. By not extending the olive branch or at least apologizing for diminishing Clinton presidency through his words (he spoke about Reagan) and non-actions when his surrogates where painting Mr Clinton as a racist after all he has done for civil rights and the advancement of blacks - and non-interest and disrespect of Clinton supporters (http://www.lynettelong.com/my_weblog/2008/07/face-to-face-wi.html fact-to-face meeting between Obama and Hillraisers) he has effectively edged them out.

I'm done. I don't believe you will look up a single thing and I am absolutely positive you will not come back and admit to anything. Fine. Just stop asking.

They don't seem to understand the situation. Senator Clinton has moved on - she is campaigning for Obama - it's her supporters who are angry about the way she was treated. Obama supporters cannot see this. I don't know if it's by choice or by mesmerism. There were clear, documented, repeated incidents of sexism and, by some members of the media, misogyny. It exists. Do they go to You Tube and look? Nope. To what advantage would it be?

Plans for Clinton convention rallies intensify
The Hill By Bob Cusack 08/10/2008

Frustrated supporters of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.) are planning multiple rallies at the Democratic convention in Denver, coupled with television and print advertisements.

The disenchanted Democrats want to express their disappointment with the party???s presidential primary process.

The Denver Group, formed a couple of months ago by two Clinton backers, says it has filmed a television commercial and is looking to air it soon. The fledgling group adds that it has received such a strong response to its scheduled Aug. 26 reception in Denver that it had to book an overflow room.

Meanwhile, another pro-Clinton group called ???18 Million Voices??? is organizing a march on Aug. 26 in Denver ???and nationwide to support Sen. Clinton and advocate for women???s rights worldwide.??? It will also be holding ???a celebration in a beautiful Denver City park during the day, and throughout the evening on Aug. 26,??? according to the 18 Million Voices website.

Sen. Barack Obama???s (D-Ill.) campaign has been in contact with Clinton aides to come up with a plan that will unify the party as well as honor Clinton and the roughly 18 million people who voted for her during the presidential primary.

But any compromise is unlikely to satisfy Clinton???s most ardent backers.

For example, some of the Denver Group???s goals are contrary to the Democratic Party???s.
Its goals include: an open convention; Clinton's name placed in nomination with no symbolic roll call vote; speeches allowed by supporters of Clinton on behalf of her candidacy; a genuine roll call vote with Clinton as a legitimate candidate; and ???no coronation.???

Asked about Clinton last week, Obama said, ???As is true in all conventions, we???re still working out the mechanics, the coordination.??? When pressed if he would favor a roll call for Clinton, Obama responded, ???I didn???t say that.???

Cloudosmoke did you or did you NOT pay your fair share of taxes = $9,836.58 ?

I suspect NOT. You and most other Democrats don't make enough to pay this FAIR share. You're FREE LOADING off the backs of hard working Repugs as some on here call us. We built America and we will DEFEND it from enemies like the Democrats who are liars and thieves. Edwards cheating on his wife dying with CANCER and Clinton's cheating on his wife is great proof of the type of scumbags who call themselves democRATS.

Democrats work hard, pay their fair share, and have as much right and claim to this country as anyone else. The hypocracy of the Larry Craig types is about as ugly and self loathing as I've ever seen. You don't like Obama, fine, but there isn't any need to tear down all democrats.

          • Posted By: dick kay @ 08/14/2008 8:28:27 PM

            • Posted By: News and Notes @ 08/14/2008 9:44:43 PM

Like many Americans, I was shocked at how crazy the allocation of pledged delegates are distributed in the democratic party. However, there is a provision that superdelegates are to use independent judgement. Based on what I'd heard from pundits all Spring, there seemed to be a real fear of "over turning" the pledged delegates, even though the nominating system has a provision to do so. To answer your question, I don;t know enough about the superdelegates' reasoning to know if the process was legitiimate or not. The MI and FL issue was handled poorly though. The Repubs got that one right, unfortunatley, and make the DNC look disorganized and overly punitive

              • Posted By: dick kay @ 08/14/2008 10:45:04 PM

Donna Brazile: The proceedings are open to the public and will be televised. They weren't. What happened at "lunch" was not open to the public and was not televised. If the press was present and held back tapes of the proceedings then the MSM is as illegitimate as the nominations process. And you and I know there exists audio and/or video proof of what went on. Would it have already surfaced if Obama/Clinton's positions were reversed?

                • Posted By: News and Notes @ 08/14/2008 10:54:33 PM

The entire FL Mi issue was a terrible debacle that could have been prevented. Based on her comments before the May 31st meeting, I don't trust Donna Brazille either. Obviously I'm not happy with Obama being the presumptive nominee, so its hard for me to be objective about the legitimacy of the process. the DNC and some party elites lost a lot of credibility in my opinion

                  • Posted By: dick kay @ 08/15/2008 5:38:57 PM

Donna Brazile has absolutely no integrity. How many months did she sit there on CNN and lie? Lying includes deception. She may have said she was "undeclared" but it was clear she was not undecided and pretended to be neutral. Rep Clyburn did the same thing. It's absolutely ridiculous and a joke that anyone would find this Primary legitimate.

          • Posted By: careerdaytrader @ 08/14/2008 6:17:59 PM

I just want to point out that MANY Democrats on here are complaining that the rich should pay their fair share. If you go to IRS dot GOV and go to the tax statistics page you will find how many returns there were and how much was raised. Some of these returns are for kids but that even MORE proves my point.

Divide the total raised by the total returns and the FAIR amount for each person is about $9,800! If you reduced the divisor (for those of you who don't grasp mathematics and I suspect its the majority of Democrats thats the number on bottom for example 15 divided by 5 the 5 is the divisor!) you get an even LARGER amount for EACH tax payer that is the average.

So if you took out kids and those making under the poverty level the same amount that EACH American must pay in taxes could be somewhere between $12,000 and $20,000 per person.

Clearly FEW on these boards who claim they want their tax MONEY's worth even come CLOSE to paying THEIR FAIR share. If you made $30,000 last year and paid $5,000 then you are paying less than HALF the amount that is fair and equal amongst all tax payers.

Just making a TRUE point. The rich pay YOUR fair share so you should stop griping and THANK US. I paid 10.8 times the FAIR amount last year and will probably pay 15 TIMES the fair amount this year as the business grew 50%. Obama wants to tax me even more! It's rediculous. It will kill jobs.

The economy IS a trickle down economy. Everybody spends money, the rich spend MORE money. If you tax us more not only will we create fewer jobs and ultimately FIRE people we will eat out less, tip waitresses less, buy less goods and the effect on the economy is a DISASTER.

            • Posted By: News and Notes @ 08/14/2008 9:35:31 PM

Neither party is proposing a flat tax. With rising costs it would be very difficult to get more taxes out of the poor and middle class. There was a 50% upper income tax bracket as recently as 1986. Nobody is proposing that either. There is an argument that the wealthiest of us have the most discretionary income, thus can afford to pay a little more taxes, if necessary. Neither party seems to dispute that argument either, but the dispute comes in when determining how much is fair. I don't really know, but personally, and as a democrat, I think we should look at lowering government spending before doing anything with the tax structure.

I agree with you Iraq was a mistake. However there has been progress now, even Katie Curic was trying to force Obama to admit that. It's clear that there is finally security where our troops are. Winning Iraq is when their own ELECTED government can take over 80% of the security and we play more of an advisory role. That day will soon come. I thought you Democrats were full of hope and peace and everybody rides their gum drops on rainbows? haha. Sounds like the real OPTIMISTS of this country are the Republicans!

Could be that obama looks like he'll be the nominee and what's the pointing of bashing Sen Clinton anymore when Obama needs...even tho he doesn't think so...her supporters to win.

Point to me where I have bashed Hillary here? I didn't. In fact I have posted in another article that I admire her and Bill for camping for Obama. I do.

Where did I say you did? I put forth a hypothesis: "could be that" I did not state that you or anyone else did.

If that is the case, what have you been doing posting smart remarks below several Obama supporter's comments today? You gonna spin this too?

In perspective, Russia issued a response to Bush and McCain's missile defense deal with Poland. They have rebuked not only that, but have also condemned Bush and McCain on their jargon about Georgia and the U.S. alliance. McCain will set up another war only this time, he will point nukes which in turn will make President or PM Putin point them back at US. McCain doesn't know the implications of being tough. The bully usually loses in the end because all he knows is tough talk and brute strength. The two powerful nations are arguing during the Olympics. Man if we can't get along during this time then there is something definitely wrong. I'd like for my children to see a new dawn, but if McCain is elected that may never happen.

Obama would settle this as a stateman. He would reach deals that encompass unified world leaders which he has already established a good relationship with. So all those that want more actions to put the U.S. in another war, possibly WWIII, then vote for McCain.

It will be interesting to see if the Obama camp reaches out to Hillary and Bill Clinton, and to what extent. Thier speaking at the convention is a positive step, not just for the democrats but the country. The VP picks will be interesting as well. So far I'm not very enthusiastic about either candidate.

  • Posted By: Cloudosmoke @ 08/13/2008 10:28:31 AM

The Convention will separate the apples from the onions. And you can have the onions, they smell, cry and complain way too much. Anyone (1-2% at best from Camp Hillary) that is willing to turn their backs on their party will bear their own burdens. I won't spend time weeping. Besides there are more than enough Republicans voting for Obama to make up for them. The demographics should be very interesting once the results are in. It will likely show the overwhelming middle class working people of both multi-'races' that voted Obama and upper class suburbia (which is nothing in terms of numbers) that voted McCain. Come November, the rest of the nation will see McCain as the elitist, out of touch, Bush policy friend, war mongering, kick the little man while he's down, o.d. 'old despot' that he is.

    • Posted By: careerdaytrader @ 08/13/2008 10:40:34 AM

Both Gore and Kerry had a much higher lead at this point than Obama has. Remember Polls are of Registered voters and a very small number of the young and poor vote because they don't care and know a politician isn't going to change their lives any. They're right about that except Obama will raise taxes which will hurt the poor by losing them their only Walmart jobs.

Also its clear those above age 50 are almost entirely in Mc Cain's camp. Because of this he will win Florida easily and Obama's comments about Pennsylvania people bitter and they cling to guns and religion will burn him there. Mc Cain will win Virginia as well and Ohio will come around. It will be a close race but Mc Cain will win. Especially after the debates. Obama is all flash and no substance.

His senate career is the only real experience he has and would you know that Barak Hussein Obama missed 290 votes? Yes 45.5% during the current Congress. He was too busy Running for President to do the job he was elected to do. How sad for Illinois. How sad for America if this fool is elected.

      • Posted By: Mimi13 @ 08/13/2008 10:24:03 PM

Not so fast, there, guy. I'm well over 50, live in a sleepy little Florida beach town and I just came from an Obama organization meeting -- packed to the rafters -- witih people of similar age. Obama is NOT conceeding Florida. It will be tight -- it always is -- but we're fired up and ready to go down here in the Sunshine State!

        • Posted By: News and Notes @ 08/14/2008 10:41:03 PM

Unfortunately I think the democratic primary delegate debacle has curbed the enthusiasm of some moderate Florida democrats, and some moderate republican Cubans who supported Hillary. The DNC really blew it as far as assuring FL goes blue. without full enthusiasm, Florida's purple will likely go red

      • Posted By: Cloudosmoke @ 08/13/2008 10:45:34 AM

I don't get any kind of argument about Obama not being up by much in the polls in the first place as I don't rely on polls maybe a month or so before the actual election. But I digress from that perspective to ask, why isn't McCain in the lead since he has had so much time to get his message across. McCain has had SIX, I repeat, SIX MONTHS to have something for the public. His management is obviously nothing. Obama has been in the mix for TWO, I repeat, TWO MONTHS, and you ask why isn't he up by more? Come on give me a break.

        • Posted By: careerdaytrader @ 08/13/2008 11:04:08 AM

Why isn't Mc Cain in the lead? BECAUSE PEOPLE HATE BUSH! Obama keeps saying Mc Cain = Bush even though Mc Cain only voted with his party 88% of the time. Barak voted with his 96% of the time so Mc Cain's argument that he's a maverick does statistically prove true. Conservatives do NOT like Mc Cain. He's more liberal and balanced and why myself and many other Democrats love him. He will make a better military leader as he's insight into the Iraq surge proves and his warning about the Georgia crisis BEFORE it happened proves.

The point is Democrats need a 12 to 15% lead at this stage of election to carry through to the elections. Obama's ONLY chance is if the blacks he's signing up every day in the south turn up in record numbers (308% increase is what is needed) and/or the young vote actually go to the polls and vote which they have never done before. When it's measured SUBSTANCE to SUBSTANCE Mc Cain is the clear winner.

If you had your life savings would you give it to a kid who has never managed money or investments before? Heck no! When it comes down to it people will vote for the tried and true leader, the only one with experience, they will KEEP tax money in THEIR pockets, and they will vote to KEEP THEIR jobs. America would go into a huge recession with Obama's plans. Roughly 70% of economists agree with Mc Cain's plans as does any intelligent person who looked at them side by side.

We'll be out of Iraq before you know it because Democracy is forming there which the Surge let happen. Good job Mc Cain, being from a military family myself I'm proud of his service and him letting our soldiers come home as winners and heros and building DEMOCRACY in the middle east which will help KEEP OIL PRICES down. Instability causes oil speculation to go UP UP UP UP. I trade oil futures and know this.

          • Posted By: Cloudosmoke @ 08/13/2008 1:20:38 PM

You missed the point. McCain has had much longer to garner support. McCain has had ample opportunity to get his message out and what did he do with his time? He was busy separating himself from what he agreed with. He spent months flip flopping himself from the Conservative party which he supported. He supported this illegitimate war, he supported Bush policy. McCain is lapdog for Bush and Cheney. McCain doesn't know how to govern. You started your posts with comments of how you would watch McCain destroy the American infrastructure and now you praise him like he's all that. You sound confused on what you want. But then again, see comments from yesterday.

            • Posted By: careerdaytrader @ 08/13/2008 2:13:12 PM

Not confused about what I want. I want an America where hard work is NOT punished by super rediculously HIGH taxes to pay for all the programs by people who don't work hard, don't educate themselves, etc, etc.

I want to win the war in Iraq because like it or not a Middle East with Democracy is a GOOD thing and will reduce the cost of oil. We need to drill here, new nuclear reactors, wind power, solar, and spend billions on other alternatives.

I also want a fair tax system. I personally believe in a consumption tax system. You spend, you pay tax. You SAVE money and you pay nothing. There is a HUGE black market economy in the US which don't pay any taxes. It's not the corporations but criminals, organized crime, etc. Consumption taxes cover that. Economists say we could have 10 to 15% consumption taxes and raise more than we do now with complicated tax system. But the accounting lobby would have a big problem with all those income tax returns GOING AWAY and thus we don't change. Teachers Unions are the reason we don't embrace competition in schooling our kids. This forum is a perfect example of the public vs private school system. The average Obama fan and poster in here can barely write English and can not put together a logical argument!

So in SUMMARY, I want our governement for the first time in its existence to develop a solid energy policy. I want them to CUT their spending. Don't tax more, cut spending. Go through all of the old laws and cut as many as they can. Reduce Government jobs and stream line. Just like many of you are doing now with your lives. Can't afford gas, high housing prices, food? YOU have to make tough choices and drive less, eat out at restaurants more, etc, etc. Government NEEDS to cut spending!!!

I'm a fiscal conservative with liberal social ideas. I have no problem with abortion (wish many Obama fan's parents had employed that option), gays marrying, legalizing pot and other non deadly drugs.

  • Posted By: mightnotvoteobama @ 08/14/2008 9:32:32 AM

I am bothered, in the first place, by the promises being made by both men. I am bewildered that both men are making legislative promises.

???When I am president,??? each man says, ???I will ...??? Now correct me if I am wrong, that I might have missed something while I was busy getting old, but when I studied government in school, I think I remember that there were three branches of government: executive, legislative and judicial. For the purpose of this essay only, the judicial branch of government will be overlooked.

In an over-simplification of job descriptions, the president and cabinet are the executive part of the branch trio. The president should keep himself busy conferring with the cabinet and agencies, being commander in chief, setting policy, giving state dinners, making nice with other countries, declaring states of emergency, signing or vetoing legislation, etc. The legislative part of the trio (the representatives and senators) has as its job initiating legislation as needed for the good of the country and their constituents, serving on investigative committees, etc.

Now we get to my contention. Both Senator McCain and Senator Obama are expounding on what they will do as president while continuing to speak like legislators. What they are promising to do in the future as the executive is what they should be proposing now in their current positions as legislators.

Come on now, fellas, if you believe so strongly in what changes need to be made for the good of the country???s problems with the economy, the oil crisis, education and health care, why have you not been back in Washington rallying support in the Senate and writing bills which would begin the miraculous cures now that you are promising for the future? Both you senators remind me of poker players with your cards clutched to your chests. Both of you are bluffing that you have a straight flush, ace high, while holding nothing more than a pair of jacks.
Unfortunately, the other people sitting at the table are about to be taken. Their names are Americans and Voters. Come on now, fellas, if you plan to play this game, show us your cards. Lay them on the table. Show us how you plan to win the game. Show us a workable plan for the cures you are promising. If these plans are so good, why haven???t you been busy in the Senate doing what you are paid to do for the country? Why are you holding back? Is it all a bluff?

Up to this point in the election process, the only thing that has been shown to the voters is age and charisma, experience and inexperience, war hero and academic scholar, pedigree and boot strap climber. Show us some substance. As the commander in chief, how, I repeat, how will you act as leader to make your promises reality? I need to know before I vote; otherwise I will continue to be bothered and bewildered, but certainly not bewitched.

It is concerning. Since Obama is not very well known on the national scene, I would have thought Obama would have wanted MORE debates, town hall meetings, tough press interviews, etc, McCan is projecting a lot of fluff too, and needs to be more substantive as well. However, whether you like him or not, McCain has a long history on the national scene that can be reviewed and considered.

There will be a roll call vote. Hillary Clinton's name will be put in nomination. Her supporters will have a chance to march through the aisles of the convention floor for about 15 minutes. Every state delegation will get its 30 seconds of air time to tout the "peanut capital of the world" or "the cheese capital of the world" or "the home of the biggest ball of yarn in the world." There will be a vote. And when everyone has had their say, the chair will recognize Sen. Clinton in the New York delegation who will move that Sen. Obama be sominated by acclimation. Everyone will cheer: YEAAAAAAA! Balloons will fall. Confetti will flow. Srangers and rivals will hug and kiss. Everyone will go home feeling good and no one will be grumpy at Obama's historic acceptance speech on Thursday. Then 76,000 people will stream out of Mile High Stadium and fan out across the country to canvass their neighbothoods, man phone banks, hold house parties, sign up for election day carpools. And in the late hours of Nov. 4 or the wee hours of Nov, 5, our long national nightmare will be over and Republican rule will be no more -- with any luck, for the rest of my natural life! It's all good.

    • Posted By: careerdaytrader @ 08/14/2008 6:41:39 PM

Sounds nice except that Obama in state by state polls if you take the winner and assign electoral votes he is up 284 to McCain's 241. Historically Democrats have had the lead at this time, both Gore and Kerry did. SAME DAY back in 2004 Kerry had 327 votes and Bush 211.

Today the state of Virginia became a tie and so if its 13 votes go to Mc Cain it will be Obama 284 and McCain 254. I believe Pennsylvania will go McCain due to Obama's horrible comments about Pennsylvania people being so dumb and religious. I also am expecting Michigan to go to Mc Cain and Colorado after the convention to shift to Mc Cain.

Point: Don't get too happy as Obama is WAY behind Kerry and he lost. Gore also had way more electoral votes based on state polls than Obama has. It's a JOKE to say he's winning by a landslide. It's so NARROW and close and as the Obama Nation book tour gets going and the news media has to discuss the truth about Obama - Muslim upbringing, his dope usage, his ties to organized crime and socialist regimes around the world, etc, etc he will be defeated in an embarassing way! I feel sorry for da sucka!

      • Posted By: Mimi13 @ 08/14/2008 7:33:03 PM

My prediction: The Kerry states plus Colorado, New Mexico and Iowa for the win (273) with Virginia, Ohio and Florida still in the possible column. Originally, I wrote off Florida (my state), but I've seen the level of organizing down here and it is awesome. Virginia's popular Mark Warner is the Democratic convention keynoter and he has demonstrated coattails. And the new same-day registration law in Ohio is a plus for Obama who has upped his activity around the state's massive college campuses. The only state I have some misgivings about is Michigan where Obama is up by 3.2 -- but if McCain should pick Romney, the race there would get tighter.

        • Posted By: News and Notes @ 08/14/2008 9:29:41 PM

Obama can organize all he wants in Florida, but the debacle of the primaries will cause lower enthusiasm amongst Hillary democrats, leading to lower turnout, likely leading to 27 electoral votes for McCain

Republicans want to win--they better have Romney. He is more attractive and much morecompetent-looking that Obama and could solve the questions about McCain and the economy. Either way they should have brought out old footage of Mitt during the SLC Olympics. Nobody Obama could bring save Sen Clinton could make him more familiar to the American people. Like her or not - voters no matter their party know Hillary Clinton. And the proven adult Democrats remember quite well the prosperity of the Clinton Administration.

  • Posted By: Mimi13 @ 08/12/2008 6:30:02 PM

I just read through the article in the current Atlantic Monthly and the series of memos it secured from the Clinton campaign. What a disaster it would have been if Sen. Clinton had managed to secure the nomination. Throughout the campaign, she was unable to control or direct her own staff. She was indecisive and dithering. Then, when things went wrong, she'd get angry and demand instant action. She could never decide on a coherent policy and kept switching "favorites" among her advisors, who apparently all hated each other. What a circus! Thank God for Obama!

HOWARD FINEMAN: You know he's not going to. You know his ego is too great. Why else does he have commercials on during the Olympics when 48% Americans have had enough of him. He wants the whole world do see him. And why is NBC airing commercials during the Olympics? The Olympics are to be apolitical.
