WHOEVER is President next will look bad! The economy is cyclical and often takes many years to turn around, this one I believe will be longer and hardest hit since early 70s.

Vote for John Mc Cain, either way he won't be running again for another term. He is so old he will retire and will look like another Bush Failure if he is elected.

Hillary will win in a landslide in 2012 !! Don't give up on her, there is a silver lining here, she would have been a bad President in 2008 but in 2012 not only will she be the First Women President she will have a much better chance at looking like a GREAT President!!

I don't get any kind of argument about Obama not being up by much in the polls in the first place as I don't rely on polls maybe a month or so before the actual election. But I digress from that perspective to ask, why isn't McCain in the lead since he has had so much time to get his message across. McCain has had SIX, I repeat, SIX MONTHS to have something for the public. His management is obviously nothing. Obama has been in the mix for TWO, I repeat, TWO MONTHS, and you ask why isn't he up by more? Come on give me a break. McCain couldn't manage his way off the porch. There's an article that McCain was boo hooing about saying something screwy and one of his advisors runs around the plane in a womans' bathing suit to cheer him up. HOO HOO HOO HAHAHAHA!!!!! Oh man.

for the first time in the history of the democrat convention obama is trying to keep the party from casting a roll call vote !! it is my opinion that he don't want a roll call simply because if john edwards would have come clean about his affair then hillary would have won the nomination hmmmm things are going to get hairy in denver !!!

Maybe as a political insider you are more nostalgic than the rest of us about the gifts of Mr. Clinton. No doubt he was the political magician of his generation. While you admire his brilliance and his achievements, many of us are still watching to see if his zipper is up or down. He might be the brightest man to get elected President; but he also qualifies as the biggest disappointment. Bill reminds many of us that politicians are always corrupt and never trustworthy. Any association with Bill would taint Obama as it has tainted Hillary. Bill had his chance to be great and he dropped his pants instead. He is forgiven if he will have the decency to be forgotten. Obama keeps his distance as a matter of common sense. Bill is forever damaged goods for many voters besides myself. Staying away from Bill might cost him some votes, but getting close to Bill will cost Obama the election. He has broken the Clinton spell on the Democratic party and would be foolish to try to retrieve it now.

He is grandiose and cannot care for us. He is timid and cannot protect us. He is a stranger and cannot know us. He is aimless and cannot lead us.

Hillary could not win the nomination in 2008, I don't see how that would change in 2012. If we wait that long for a democratic win, there maybe no prizes left in 2012.

The Clinton???s will be big time winners to sponsor and support Obama, a descendent of the most oppressed and forgotten world. America would have, once again proven to the world brave enough to lead the world in the untested and most daring territory by infinite measurement challenging others to follow. Never in the history of modern governance, a black descendant has become a leader in nation where the majority is white. Think the benefits that would bring in to race relationship both at home and abroad. However if Obama losses the damage to our democratic ideals will be irreversible for years to come. The Clinton should re- think twice about their legacy. Forget the hope of being elected in the year 2012. That will never happen under the circumstance.

The goal is to "Win" . 18 million people voted for Hillary in the primary, If Hillary is the VP , thats a guaranteed 18 million votes for Obama added to the votes he already will get . Remember if Obama looses, all of this . becomes the biggest letdown in political history. McCain will be the president, he will probably croak in office and Mitt Romney will be the president, God help us.

When I saw the article title, I had a feeling I would see a lot of people with hurt feelings. Man this lot is mmmaaaddddd. Hurt feelings equal four more years of Bush policy.

Obama may be considered a "rock star" by his supporters, but the kind of superficial glamour and excitement that this terminology suggests is not what most voters are looking for in a president. Heartland values, not Hollywood values, still define what most voters want in a president. Most voters want a president whom they perceive as loyal, courageous, hardworking, and fair. Someone who commands the respect of others through the strength of his character and the wisdom of his actions. Someone who is prepared to fight to protect his home and country from invaders. In other words, someone who appeals to voters, on a psychological or emotional level, as the kind of person they would want for a father, husband, boss, or comrade-in-arms.


Rock stars may be fun, but they do not fit this image. Neither does Obama. His life story, while unique and interesting, bespeaks little more than an ambitious and opportunistic young man, still wet behind the ears, with an unhealthy fascination with his own ego - and potentially unreliable when the chips are down.


The American people are not going to entrust the security and prosperity of the country to such an immature and unproven man.

I don't think that all the help in the world will help win him the Presidency at this point. Most Americans have opened their eyes and now see him as the elitist flip-flopper that he is. Anyone can promise "change", but without any real substance to back it up no one will listen very long. And his constant flip flopping on issues is really starting to bite him. Can anyone tell me what exactly he stands for, or against? I've yet to hear it from him, he will promise one thing, then I learn the next week he voted for or against something that contradicts what he just promised. I was so hopeful at one point and now it looks like McCain is the only sane choice. It seems to me when Barry talks, he talks himself in circles, like a dog chancing his tail. As much as it hurts for me to vote Republican, I have no choice but to vote for McCain, a very inspirational man with an unquestioned love for his country and good, sound political views.

There is just no way Sen. Obama should chose Sen. Clinton as his running mate. Her husband wants center stage and would be extremely disruptive to the administration. It's all about Bill.
