Hey Tired! Good to read you. How are you and the fam? Missed you.
It is your rhetoric that is "tired and old." If you don't even know enough to use the correct form of "their" (instead of "there"), why should people pay any attention to your namecalling? If, indeed, you are tired and old, perhaps you should consider growing up.
You don't even know how to post a comment. At least he does. Your comment is directed at Tired and Old, so why post below mine?
I WONDERED ABOUT THAT TOO !
T, I think that poster posted the comments meant for you below mine out of fear of you, lol!
Tired has been blogging a long time, and has a lot of great things to post. Instead of your sarcasim, and your posting of ill-will perhaps as a question such as why do you feel that way would go much further. People will respond in kind to you.
THANKS ! RIGHT IS RIGHT.
Second. Btw, sarcasm means 'to cut or tear'. Latin I think.
HEY ! CONFUSED.
GROWING UP AT MY AGE --- DON'T RUSH THINGS.
FOR A CONFUSED PERSON YOU DID FIND MY ERROR------ THANKS !
don't bother with them--theyre teenagers.
BEEN WORKING CONSTRUCTION AND CEMENT WORK, EVERYONE IS FINE.
Hey Pia, where have you been hiding LOL? I am counting down, and cannot wait to get home. Hope your doing well...Mark
Hey Mark! Great to 'see' you. Miss you. How are you? Ready to come back yet? Soon I hope.
Hi Tired and Old,
I too have missed you and your humor. Don't be such a stranger. Is everything ok with you and your better half?
I HAVE MISSED MY BLOG FRIENDS TOO.
Hillary Voters its time to UNITE! Nobody in their right mind would want to be President now and inherit Bush's problems - Economy, gas prices, housing, banks closing, Iraq, etc.
WHOEVER is President next will look bad! The economy is cyclical and often takes many years to turn around, this one I believe will be longer and hardest hit since early 70s.
Vote for John Mc Cain, either way he won't be running again for another term. He is so old he will retire and will look like another Bush Failure if he is elected.
Hillary will win in a landslide in 2012 !! Don't give up on her, there is a silver lining here, she would have been a bad President in 2008 but in 2012 not only will she be the First Women President she will have a much better chance at looking like a GREAT President!!
And it's not like McCain could do anything without congressional approval, and the democrats will control congress.
Exactly Pearsoncrz! Let Mc Cain mess it up and then Hillary 2012. Don't let this ONE time opportunity pass us by. For others that contributed to her campaign don't let your money go to waste. Mc Cain 2008 and Hillary 2012 and a legacy of success as the housing market and banking crisis can only be improved with time. She'll inherit an economy coming out of recession and ready for GROWTH.
No matter who wins in November, the economy will get better and recover! The democratic congress will not help the economy get better untill after the election, because they are trying to get a democrat elected !! After the election they will have no choice but to vote on things that will improve the economy!!
If this is how you feel, than it matters not who you vote for. Vote Obama.
I won't vote for a man who admits using cocaine for years and can't quit smoking. There is a reason cocaine addicts are thin.
I understand P and I don't condemn you for it.
Can't vote for Obama because his policies and the people who follow him are total morons! Vote Hillary 2012!!
Careerdaytrader, I am with you on this one. McCain 2008 / Hillary 2012
CAREERDAYTRADER:
"don't give up on her, there is a silver lining here, she would have been a bad President in 2008"
you're joking right? as that another barrybot way of uniting? do you people even read what you're saying? because it's not helping...if that's what you were after.
I don't get any kind of argument about Obama not being up by much in the polls in the first place as I don't rely on polls maybe a month or so before the actual election. But I digress from that perspective to ask, why isn't McCain in the lead since he has had so much time to get his message across. McCain has had SIX, I repeat, SIX MONTHS to have something for the public. His management is obviously nothing. Obama has been in the mix for TWO, I repeat, TWO MONTHS, and you ask why isn't he up by more? Come on give me a break. McCain couldn't manage his way off the porch. There's an article that McCain was boo hooing about saying something screwy and one of his advisors runs around the plane in a womans' bathing suit to cheer him up. HOO HOO HOO HAHAHAHA!!!!! Oh man.
And that was a male advisor.
Well, according to what McCain has said about Obama raising taxes at $42.000 is not the truth. I guess that would be a lie
Raising taxes on interest, dividends, and capital gains will raise taxes on everyone who invests in America, and particularly on those who invest for their retirements, even if Obama says his plan doesn't change the rates on "income" -- get out a tax return and figure it out, and don't forget the AMT while you are calculating the way Obama's plan will affect your tax liability.
Away from the bright lights and high-minded rhetoric of the campaign trail, Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., has quietly worked with corporate lobbyists to help pass breaks worth $12 million.
While legal, Obama's bills on behalf of Nufarm and other companies are part of the special treatment machine Washington rolls out for special interests, say good-government watchdogs.
"If you have a company...there's a whole factory set up to help you get these suspensions," said Steve Ellis, president of the Washington, D.C.-based watchdog group Taxpayers for Common Sense. "It's a pay-to-play system you have to rev up and work." Hire the right lobbyist, pay the right fee, and you can save millions, he explained.
In Nufarm's case, Obama's staff met with a lawyer representing the company, Joel Junker, in person and on the phone several times, Junker told ABC News. Junker says he worked with Obama's staff to craft the nine bills and keep them moving forward.
"To the extent [the legislation] needs a little shepherding, you work with their staff, to be aware of the status, and work with the committee staff," he said, and spoke highly of Obama's staff. "Everything was very professional, very constituent-service oriented."
In his speeches, Obama has lambasted lobbyists and moneyed interests who "have turned our government into a game only they can afford to play."
"It's an entire culture in Washington -- some of it legal, some of it not," the Democratic hopeful told a New York crowd in June, rallying support for his ethics reform agenda.
But last year, at the request of a hired representative for an Australian-owned chemical corporation Nufarm, Obama introduced nine separate bills exempting the company from import fees on a range of chemical ingredients it uses in the manufacture of pesticides and herbicides. Nufarm's U.S. subsidiary is based in Illinois.
Nufarm wasn't the only beneficiary of Obama's efforts to reduce customs fees and duties. In early May of 2006, two Washington lobbyists registered to work on behalf of Astellas Pharma, a Japanese-owned drug company which also has offices in Illinois.
The lobbyists' task? "Introduce legislation to temporarily suspend customs duties for the importation of a pharmaceutical ingredient," they wrote on their lobbying forms. Less than three weeks later, the men had earned their $20,000 fee, thanks to Obama. On May 26, he introduced S. 3155, a bill specifically exempting Astellas' key ingredient from tariff payments. The bill cost the federal government more than $1 million in lost revenue, according to government estimates.
Together, Obama's obscure measures -- known as tariff suspensions -- steered more than $12 million away from federal coffers, according to government estimates.
Howard Halfman writes: "the Clintons need to cheerfully join the team (or do a good job of faking it) if they do not want to be dismissed as whiners???or blamed as Machiavellian backstabbers if he loses." Well, that's quite a choice you've deigned to outline for the Clintons = JOIN with the ONE or be denounced as TRAITORS! Thanks comrade, but the Clintons have many other choices. By the way, your boy is going down big time, so your months of being a jourbamalist will have been for naught. Was it worth your credibility, Mr. Halfman?
for the first time in the history of the democrat convention obama is trying to keep the party from casting a roll call vote !! it is my opinion that he don't want a roll call simply because if john edwards would have come clean about his affair then hillary would have won the nomination hmmmm things are going to get hairy in denver !!!
The only person who was being hurt in the primary, by John Edwards was Obama. All of this is rediculous, we have an election to win and some people are hung up on what ifs and what should-a.
yeah and some people are hung up attacking a former US president and current Senator. N ifs ands or buts about that.
Disease : Clintonitis
Symptom: People with an extreme tendancy to have an obsessive compulsion of bashing Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Prognosis: Incurable.
; - D
Edwards also captured a split with Hillary of a segment of the 40 and over voters, too. Obama did not.
Not true, because the superdelegates were influenced by Edward's endorsement of Obama in May
And Edwards divided the wage-earner vote with HRC, they were not Obama supporters in PA and OH.
Petulance and presumptuous - that's my description of Obama's campaign. He needs Bill & Hillary more than they need him. Even if they campaigned for Obama, some of us will not vote for Obama anyway.
Maybe as a political insider you are more nostalgic than the rest of us about the gifts of Mr. Clinton. No doubt he was the political magician of his generation. While you admire his brilliance and his achievements, many of us are still watching to see if his zipper is up or down. He might be the brightest man to get elected President; but he also qualifies as the biggest disappointment. Bill reminds many of us that politicians are always corrupt and never trustworthy. Any association with Bill would taint Obama as it has tainted Hillary. Bill had his chance to be great and he dropped his pants instead. He is forgiven if he will have the decency to be forgotten. Obama keeps his distance as a matter of common sense. Bill is forever damaged goods for many voters besides myself. Staying away from Bill might cost him some votes, but getting close to Bill will cost Obama the election. He has broken the Clinton spell on the Democratic party and would be foolish to try to retrieve it now.
Kick the Clintons out, go ahead, show the world who Obama really is, how great he is at uniting a party he divided.
We can't afford to let Obama divide this nation the way he has divided the democratic party.
Ok, again I ask just how did Obama divide the Democratic Party? What exactly has he done or said to achieve this?
Obama has been playing the race card since day one.
No.
speak for yourself. Obama needs both Clintons if he was to increase his chances of victory.
why i snibidy talking about McCain and Reed an their up coming fundraiser? Reed is scum off all scum.
Typical, the MSM ignores all that is wrong with McCain. Come on media let's get the truth out.
They are too busy worshiping the ground Obama walks on!
Cobalt, we're not worshipping anyone. We are supporting the man who is the most fit to be president-Sen.Obama.
Pia: That is your opinion and have the right to have your own opinion.
You have a right to post opinions and adult would post, not this worship nonsense. Again, silly, dumb nonsense= desperation. Hillary lost, get over it and support the nominee. Mature people do.
Just Silly!
He is grandiose and cannot care for us. He is timid and cannot protect us. He is a stranger and cannot know us. He is aimless and cannot lead us.
Nice proverbial tone, josemarti. You are a good writer. Have you thought about running for president? I hear the job will be vacant soon.
Funny that the others below tried to make out like you were talking about McCain.
Thank you. I did not know much about McCain before this year. But the more I see, the more I like. He is self deferential, a straight shooter, energetic, experienced, a real American, who can work with the Democrats in Congress. A real man of the people. There is a little bit of Reagan in him. A little bit of Bush. A little bit of Huckleberry Finn. A little Tom Sawyer. A little bit country and a little bit rock and roll.
That sounds like McCain in a nutshell. But you left off 'shameless.'
You got that right!
Hillary could not win the nomination in 2008, I don't see how that would change in 2012. If we wait that long for a democratic win, there maybe no prizes left in 2012.
I would rather consider the welfare of the country than the welfare of Senator Clinton
Good comment!
The liberal elitists on the left haven't ever picked a winner. It was the centrists that picked Bill Clinton much to the dismay of the party elite.
We need a new centrist party. The liberal elite have finished the Democrats as a viable alternative for democracy. Obama's positions on state sponsored college education, state sponsored health care, redistribution of the wealth by taking profits that need to be reinvested to pay for his $1000 gift to the voters, are socialist, anti-capitolist positions. But then, Obama has never worked in a production operation before, doesn't know how business in America works, as was painfully obvious when he spoke to the AAM.
Why Obama needs the Clintons is a flip-flop; Why the Clintons need Obama?
what do the Clintons need Obama for?
The Clinton???s will be big time winners to sponsor and support Obama, a descendent of the most oppressed and forgotten world. America would have, once again proven to the world brave enough to lead the world in the untested and most daring territory by infinite measurement challenging others to follow. Never in the history of modern governance, a black descendant has become a leader in nation where the majority is white. Think the benefits that would bring in to race relationship both at home and abroad. However if Obama losses the damage to our democratic ideals will be irreversible for years to come. The Clinton should re- think twice about their legacy. Forget the hope of being elected in the year 2012. That will never happen under the circumstance.
From Hillary to Obma08.
A black non-American descendent -- so what exactly is your point? Black candidates have been elected to national office before, and other blacks would be electable. It isn't like Obama is the only possiblity.
Maybe McCain will ask JC Watts to be his running mate. Then the Obama camp wouldn't be able to keep playing the race card.
Bring up race, again? That has gotten really old and tired. The only concern most people have with Obama is his lack of experience on the national scene.
Race relations benefits? Obama has divided the democratic party on the basis of race, with his camp calling the Clintons and their supporters racists for months.
The great divider, that's Obama. I'm looking for "hope and change" in 2012 with the development of a new centrist party. Let the elitists have the democratic moniker, we can get something else.
Obama was not descended from slaves, has never been oppressed or forgotten. He was raised in an affluent influential white family. He is an elitist who will say and do whatever he thinks he needs to say and do to get elected. Rev. Wright knew him for 20 years, and even he says that Obama will say and do anything to get elected.
The goal is to "Win" . 18 million people voted for Hillary in the primary, If Hillary is the VP , thats a guaranteed 18 million votes for Obama added to the votes he already will get . Remember if Obama looses, all of this . becomes the biggest letdown in political history. McCain will be the president, he will probably croak in office and Mitt Romney will be the president, God help us.
Nope, I was a Clinton supporter, and I won't vote for Obama even if he names Clinton VP -- I won't vote for a man who admits using cocaine for years, a man who can't even quit smoking.
When I saw the article title, I had a feeling I would see a lot of people with hurt feelings. Man this lot is mmmaaaddddd. Hurt feelings equal four more years of Bush policy.
Hi Cloud
Hillary supporters are already beyond the "hurt feelings"phase" When your feelings are hurt you cry and you mope, but we're now in the "angry as hell" phase, and ready you spring to action. It's not that Hillary lost, we could have lived with that, it was that she was CHEATED out of the nomination and her voters have been continuously disrespected. We have been insulted by the MSM, the DNC, superdelegares, and Obama supporters. If her name is not up for nomination, that's the last straw. Many voters will finally go nuclear (vote for McCain)
Posted By: Masha Thank you very well said The Clintons has never do a thing too this country but help it When Bill was president We the people lived better than we have and that includes all the people not just the rich. As for Oslima he could care less about America and the middle class and poor he has used / lied / undercut / and cheated / in every way and will keep on doing it. Him or his Blind followers can ever make me suport or call him my President
Who are trying to MKE you support Obama? Don't vote for him, at this point you will not be missed. Thank goodness all Clinton supporters are not like you and the one above. They are past the whining point, but you and the rest of the Angry women just keep doing you! As a matter of fact I think that you and the rest of the women should really make your voices heard at the Dem Convention. I would wear T-Shirts with Clinton's face on it and a really nifty slogan. Don't forget the really big signs and bull horns. If I were you I would really make a big scene to make sure that all of the camera's get you.
Yes, by all means show your AZZ pound that last nail into Clinton's political coffin. Go for it Girl!
sjp: "Don't vote for him, at this point you will not be missed."
i'll check back in november. you have a wonderful way of promoting party unity, dont you?
ps "Denounce Nobama's Coronation." nifty enough?
Party Unity! Get Real! People like you aren't interested in Party Unity. You are an angry woman who has gotten her panties in a bunch because Clinton did not win! Let me rephrase that CLINTON LOST! NOTHING WAS STOLEN FROM HER! You are so angry that your candidate did not win that the only think on your mind is trying to find some dirt that will stick to Obama or some other way of sabotaging his election. You are even willing to vote McCain or even McCain's dog (if he has one) anyone but Obama and you are doing so not because you are making an informed decition but because you are an angry spiteful, dry woman who is willing to F*ck up the country because your feelings were hurt!
Too F*cking Bad, I am really really tired of yours and those like you b!tching and whining about some perceived slights. Man the F*ck UP and move on. So don't vote for him, who gives a sweet F*ck if you don't there will be one less whiney B!tch in the mix.
That is how I feel, anymore qustions. People like you just work my last damn nerve! What will you B!tch about after the election, I get the impression that you and those like you will definitely find something, becuase you need something to hold on to in your pathetic life.
Sorry, but I am making an informed decision. McCain won't be able to do anything the democrats don't approve of because the democrats will control congress.
I won't vote for a candidate for president who admits doing cocaine for years. There is a reason cocaine addicts are thin. Obama can't even quit smoking.
So every slim person is a crack head. OMG You are beyond simple LOL!
That's BS and you know it. Obama's thin because he works out every day. Duh. But you do sound like a crackhead yourself.
hahahaha SJP: you talking to me? whose got their panties bunched?
I am not not an angry woman...i am an amused american citizen citizen not under the influence of the messiah's Kool-Aid...but thanks for your projection and preconceived bias. .hmm...why didn't you add racist and bitter and a'clingin' to my bible and a'totin' my guns? swearing easier?
"Too F*cking Bad, I am really really tired of yours and those like you b!tching and whining about some perceived slights. Man the F*ck UP and move on. So don't vote for him, who gives a sweet F*ck if you don't there will be one less whiney B!tch in the mix."
you speak this way in favor of your messiah? your words evoke such a warm feeling of party unity...
You know what, I apologize to you for using such language, I sincerely try to be better than that.
apology accepted.
SJ while I understand your frustration your responses are usually well written and objective. However this repsonse was uncharacteristic of your typical posts. If you get really frustrated, nobody listens
One more thing that I wanted to explain, what get's me sometimes about posters like this is the whining and the threats. If someone has decided who they are voting for fine, but to always threaten to take your toys (votes) and go home (vote for McCain) because your candidate did not win is just so juvenile. I do not understand it, this level of childishness is just beyond me,.
I know I know, but sometimes I make the mistake of allowing certain types of people to push my buttons. i should not have lowered myself to their level.
Thanks for reminding me not to let them get to me. Can I use the excuse that I am only human? LOL!
There are more HRC supporters who will be voting for McCain than you think. Obama needs them and will lose the election without them.
Well then you should be happy!
Obama may be considered a "rock star" by his supporters, but the kind of superficial glamour and excitement that this terminology suggests is not what most voters are looking for in a president. Heartland values, not Hollywood values, still define what most voters want in a president. Most voters want a president whom they perceive as loyal, courageous, hardworking, and fair. Someone who commands the respect of others through the strength of his character and the wisdom of his actions. Someone who is prepared to fight to protect his home and country from invaders. In other words, someone who appeals to voters, on a psychological or emotional level, as the kind of person they would want for a father, husband, boss, or comrade-in-arms.
Rock stars may be fun, but they do not fit this image. Neither does Obama. His life story, while unique and interesting, bespeaks little more than an ambitious and opportunistic young man, still wet behind the ears, with an unhealthy fascination with his own ego - and potentially unreliable when the chips are down.
The American people are not going to entrust the security and prosperity of the country to such an immature and unproven man.
No we, Obama supporters, have never thought of him as 1. A ROCK STAR 2. THE MESSIAH 3. THE ONE.
Those are terms that that a "CERTAIN SPECIAL GROUP" of people who do not support him use while attempting to negatively describe him. We accept that he is just a man, a very intelligent, humorous and charming man, but just a man and a politican. We accept and support him for who he actually is!
sjpersonal: Obama supporters like you say you don't see him as a rock star, the messiah and the one, but that is exactly how Obama supporters and the media act!! It is true that anyone who will not vote for Obama is being called a racist! Obama supporters and the media are like mesmerized by Obama . The rest of us are asking, why? How? And also Obama supporters see nothing wrong with the fact that Obama went to Trinity church for 20 years, his close friendhip with Rev.Wright, Rezko, Ayers and all the rest. I don't understand how anyone can ignore his past and think that he is so great and smart and want to vote for him! That is why I will vote for McCain!!
You wrote: It is true that anyone who will not vote for Obama is being called a racist!
Correction: It is true that some Obama supporters are prone to calliing people racists because they choose not to vote for Obama.
It is true that some Clinton and McCain supporters people make this statement over and over again regardless of what is said.
It is true that some Clinton and McCain supporters continue to call Obama's Black supporters racists stating that the "Only reason that Blacks are voting for Obama is because he is black".
It is true that some Clinton and McCain supporters continue to state that Obama's White supporters are all suffering from White Guilt and that is the only reason that they are supporting him.
It is true that some Clinton and McCain supporters continue to refer to all Obama supporters as sheeple, delusional, kool-aide drinkers, blind followers etc.
THE ABOVE ARE TRUTHS! ANYTHING ELSE?
So, you're saying all supporters on all sides say and do bad things, not just the Obama supporter like all of Mccains supporter have been accusing us of. Thanks for the truth.
Yes, that is definitely a TRUTH! But honestly this Messiah, The One, Rock Star etc. is really getting old, they should come up with something a little more original to call him, like maybe his name!
It is also true that many supporter who call Mccain supporters racist is because they make racist comments, is it not? Action and reaction, cause and effect
She said this:

You still use the same old lies she is talking about. All the while ignoring all the ill done by your candidate.
Mr. McCain campaign is based on mistruths, distortion and embellishment. All of it.
He's 10-for-10 on fact check.
Obama's campaign is based on mistruths, distortion and embellishment. and flip flops. All of it.
Obama will say and do anything to get elected! McCain is the better choice!
Obama is not the liar, nor is he, a cheat. McCain cheated on his crippled wife. How do you feel about that, cobalt? Do you excuse it?
That's BS and you know it. Plus, isn't it the Mccain camp that make ads after ads that are proven lies and false over and over again, yet they still run those same ads?
Cobalt, in what way do we act that shows Obama is a rock star and messiah? We don't. You're silly..
No I am not mezmerized by him. Again! I understand that he a man and a politician.
1. Rev. Wright, my question to you is have you ever bothered to actually watch one of his sermons? No i really doubt that you have, yet you base your criticizm on two 30 sec. soundbites that have obviously been edited to portray the worst. Are you aware that certain of those "Hateful inflamatory statements" were repeats of statements made by others, including Edward Peck, former U.S. Ambassador. No I am sure that fact escaped you.
2 Rezko, Until the DOJ comes up with some evidence linking Obama to some criminal activity involving Rezko, I will take Obama at his word regarding his relationship with Rezko. By the way have you uncovered any evidence of this, if so you should definitely forward it to the DOJ as they have been unable to do so.
3. Ayers, The crime that Bill Ayers was accused of happened when Obama was approximately 8 years old! Also as I am sure that you are aware, President Clinton gave Bill Ayers a full pardon. One more note Bill Ayers is a distinquished professor at the University of Ilinois.
You mentioned all of the others? Who are all of these others and do you have any information regarding something that Obama either did or said. All I have been reading are "Guild by association" Obama has never been accused of any criminal activity. Which is more than you can say about quite a few prominent politicians. Do I really need to elaborate?
Rev. Wright is the one who said Obama will say and do whatever he needs to say and do to get elected. If you accept what Rev. Wright says, and he has known Obama for 20 years, then that should tell you something about Obama.
Obama is the "unnamed" politician named in the Rezko indictment who was supposed to receive a payoff.
Are you suggesting that Obama didn't know Ayers' history? I thought you said he was intelligent and studied American History! Choosing to associate with people like Rev. Wright and Rezko and Ayers indicates the inadequacy of Obama's ethics compass.
So far, Obama has managed to skirt the edges of the law, as with his ethics disclosure where he didn't name Blackwell specifically even though Blackwell was 90% of his income, and instead hid Blackwell among hundreds of other clients he didn't represent, or maybe telling the FEC that he wasn't running for president so he could spend hundreds of thousands of dollars from his HOPE PAC to set up his "grass roots" campaign (where did all that money in the HOPE PAC come from anyway?) Or maybe we should talk about Obama's earmark request of millions for his wife's employer, or Michelle's seat on the board of a Walmart affiliate after Obama supported the Walmart candidate in a Chicago election?
Or maybe we should just talk about Obama's criminal activity when he was doing cocaine for years. No one has to accuse him of that, he admits it in his book.
So you're saying even though Obama raises a hell of a lot more money than Mccain, he still cheats and lies to get more? Is it just me, or does that make no sense whatsoever. Maybe you should try telling the truth sometime, pearsoncrz, it won't hurt( well maybe your candidate) I promise.
Did you read my post. I never once said that I accepted what Rev. Wright said. I said that I doubted if the poster had bothered listening to any of Rev. Wright's sermons. I also never said that I agreed with anything that was reportedly said by Rev. Wright.
Regarding Rev. Wright's statements after Obama distanced himself, you honestly were not able to understand that he was angry at Obama and was trying to do him harm by those statements. By the way i find it rather interesting that it was his relationship with Obama that kicked off his speaking career.
If Obama is the un-named politician who was to receive payoffs, then how do you know it is him. Also I do not remember reading anything about an un-named politician. Please post a link to that information.
I do not have time right now to research the other allegations that you posted, but I have copied your post to my clipboard and will return to it. But wow, that Obama is one slick man, he has fooled everyone in Illinois, the Senate and quite a few Americans and let's not forget all of the other countries that find him favoragle. Wow what a slickster. If he is such a CRIMINAL, how is it possible that only a handful, considering the billions in the US, of McCain supporters are able to flush him out?
barry was the *unnamed politician* in the indictment. research for you.
http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/obama/749138,obama20web.article
while you're there...if you actually go... read the rest of the articles linked in the sidebar...you'll read how obama admitted he lied about how much money he received from rezko. how the campaign denied barry knew ARAMANDA (donated the alleged $10K kickback from rezko) and then poof! oh yeah aramanda's son did have an internship with barry. then move on to the allison davis article which discusses the wood foundation (barry & ayers both on it...seven people only and they had 12 official meetings and then dinners so it's hardly true that he's just a guy i the neighborhood as barry claimed in the debate) and they forked over cash to davis who was also a partner with rezko...are you starting to get the picture? check out rezkowatch.
and you final para? read it over. you wonder why nobody knows? how long have you been in here speaking for barry? and how much do you know? how much have you researched? you also may want to look outside the barrybot bun and go to blogs or foreign press (UK EAST AFRICAN ISREALI) to see the real barry. there is plenty of proof SOLID CONCRETE EVIDENCE of barry nefariousness...but you have to believe the possibility exists first. the MSM doesnt care. and if you are truly interested in finding out about media bias go to mattie's blog up there and see for yourself.
www.citizensagainstproobamamediabias.blogspot.com
she says shes not a registered voter and the blog is not affiliated with any party, candidate or organization. she said it'll take a few days to transfer posts from their other site. any and all are welcome. hope to see you there. i've had enough here. best of luck. nonbarry supporters would respect anyone who says i want to vote for barry because i want to vote for barry.
1 somebody else does it so it's ok?
2 "you will take obama at his word" which one? 20 yrs rezko 20 yrs wright = barrys good judgment.
3 nobody said barry was with ayers...barry sits on the wood foundation and knows ayers very well--ayers held barry's coming out party in chgo politics.
yes you do need to elaborate but why bother? you keep saying the same thing over and over....and learn nothing.
Are you joking?????
You are a funny little person aren't you? That particular shade of green is rather common place with you people (now go ahead and assume what I mean by that) isn't it LOL!
yes, obama supporters have called barry: a rockstar, the messiah and the chosen one and the savior. do you speak for all barry supporters? do you know what every barrybot thinks and says?
"We accept and support him for who he actually is!"
do you realize how absolutely insane that is? you have no idea who barry is...you wouldnt even look up his book quotes or links because you said it was all a lie. just be honest and say: i'm voting for barry because i want to.
You Wrote: you wouldnt even look up his book quotes or links because you said it was all a lie
When and where did I state this? This does not sound at all like me unless it was an OBVIOUS LIE, then there would be no reason to "look it up" By all means please correct me if I am wrong, where exactly did I post this?
you posted it in april in alter's article adios...in response to all barry's book quotes. remember your thoughts on these?
DREAMS OF MY FATHER BARRY OBAMA
"I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race."
"Our rage at the white world needed no object, he seemed to be telling me, no independent confirmation; it could be switched on or off at our pleasure."
LEFT OUT OF barry's AUDIOVERSION:
'IN FACT, WHITES ARE SO HEARTLESS AND DEVIOUS THAT WE CAN NO LONGER EXPECT ANYTHING FROM THEM."
my fav:
"Black politicians less gifted than Harold discovered what white politicians had known for a very long time: that race-baiting could make up for a whole host of limitations"
"A steady attack on the white race, the constant recitation of black people's brutal experience in the country...Yes the whites are responsible for your sorry state, not any inherent flaws in you."
ring a bell?
how about not looking up the Emir of Qatar, head of al-jazeera, who barry went to visit instead of our troops in afghanistand and pakistan when the rest of the CODEL did in 2006. this man who has such SUPERIOR JUDGMENT!!! about iraq doesnt exactly follow it up with actions does he? just like LANDSTUHL. even you cannot defend that.
so any of that sound familiar? i am quite certain it was you...am i wrong?
Most likely
I'm sorry but how can you say that it was most likely me as I do not remember any of this. I wish that News week would keep the articles up that would make it so much easier when I am accused of something by some poster that I have never seen before.
What the hell are you talking about? Are you saying that some of these are my posts? I do remember reading something about the Emir on these boards I could not tell you when. But my point is that i would never state that i was unwilling to do research on anything. I can say this because I research everything, I take nothing at face value. So again I have no idea what you are talking about. Do you remember what I posted, if so please post it.
why must you persist? why in the heck would i bother writing this if it weren't true? why would i remember you if you didn't say it? you said you googled qatar and you wanted links to barry's travel itinerary and that none of that was in his book. you came back and reposted like ten minutes later so you couldnt have possibly followed the links. i gave you the name of alter's article...did you go research it? explain to me--rationally--why i would remember you, why i remember what you said, and why i remember what article it was if i was wrong? and no i am not going to post it...you said you research everything...so go do some...
So you agree that he said in his book that he used cocaine? And agree that he has said in interviews that he doesn't think God would condemn two thirds of the world who do not believe in His Son to hell?
What? Are you responding to me? I do not understand your question as it relates to my reply. I do agree that Obama admitted that he tried cocaine in college, over 20 years ago, the other statement I do not recognize. Sometime this week I will pull out his books again as I have not memorized them.
So you're saying, Obama is a rockstar because he is popular and has a lot of support. In that reasoning, all presidents are "rockstars", all war heroes, all kings, all leaders, etc, "rock stars. So either the term "rock star" and "Messiah" and "celebrity" are not a demeaning term at all, or, your demeaning all those people, right up to George Washington and beyond. Which is it?
I don't think that all the help in the world will help win him the Presidency at this point. Most Americans have opened their eyes and now see him as the elitist flip-flopper that he is. Anyone can promise "change", but without any real substance to back it up no one will listen very long. And his constant flip flopping on issues is really starting to bite him. Can anyone tell me what exactly he stands for, or against? I've yet to hear it from him, he will promise one thing, then I learn the next week he voted for or against something that contradicts what he just promised. I was so hopeful at one point and now it looks like McCain is the only sane choice. It seems to me when Barry talks, he talks himself in circles, like a dog chancing his tail. As much as it hurts for me to vote Republican, I have no choice but to vote for McCain, a very inspirational man with an unquestioned love for his country and good, sound political views.
write hillary in on the ballot.
Nope, don't write Hillary in, that would only help Obama. If you don't want Obama to be president, as close as the race is, you have to vote for the republican.
I'm going to be a republican for a day, just like all those republicans Obama invited to become democrats for a day to defeat Hillary.
You wrote: just like all those republicans Obama invited to become democrats for a day to defeat Hillary.
When exactly did Obama ask anyone to "Vote Democrate to defeat Clinton" ? All I remember is Rush Limbaugh asking republicans to vote for Clinton in the primaries. That video is on Youtube.
Personally I don't understand why republicans can vote in democratic primaries, but in truth, overall, Obama got many more republican votes during the primaries than Hillary did
Actually Obama has a large group of historically republican supporters. Quite a few of them are on these boards and there is one group that I have checked out and they are definitely supporting Obama.
www.republicansforobama.org
They were supporting him during the primaries, but plan to vote for McCain in Nov. Obama invited this, it was the only way he could beat HRC in the primaries.
I believe that is true
Not the group that I mentioned. There are also quite a few people on these boards who have historically voted Republicans until this election, there may be some trolls but I believe that most are sincere.
How can republicans vote democratic and vice versa in the primary? Because it's a free country and you can vote how you choose in an election.
What proof do you have that Obama got more Republican votes than Hillary?
In some states they can't unless they reregister as democrats, which they have to do long before the primaries, long before Limbaugh initiated his "operation chaos" Obama state campaigns were distributing fliers to republicans suggesting they reregister as democrats because the democrats were expected to win by a landslide in Nov, and if they wanted to keep HRC out of the white house, they had to become "democrats for a day" by reregistering for the primaries.
Check it out here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/taylor-marsh/obama-expands-be-a-democ_b_82496.html
Very few states permit voters to cross party lines in the primary. It was the DEMOCRATIC primary.
Go through the polling data in states that permit republicans to vote in democratic primaries, especially Texas
Oslima had everything for man too snake voting for him some where in his life along with all the other crap that he learned to be such a good crook he learned to be a cult leader that can hipmatize people with his mouth /looks or eyes and got all the young people under his spell all they can see is Oslima in white house to hell with what he does there and to all us it's the fact that he will be there then they all will be crying cause they can't eat much less buy potty paper when he gets through
Obama has had his computer nerds and his campaign in Florida wipe their site clean of this, but it wasn't just florida, also in Nevada, and Texas records of doing this. Limbaugh came months later.
Google it if you really want to know, there are still links available. I've g2g for a while, but If you don't find them let me know and I'll post what is still available out there.
All McSame inspires me to do is retire. Does anybody really look at this man. He can't even get a prepared statement regarding the crisis in Georgia/ Russia out of his mouth. If McBush wins, you wil have an inept leader that follows the same path as his predecessor. GWB. All you bloggers pulling for MCSame must be pretty successful to allow another 4 years of incompetence running our country. Change is needed, and only Obama can represent that change.

289-236 - and the gap is growing. I think what you have is a biased opinion, based on wishes.
And we all know how reliable polls are right??? If a die hard Democrat such as myself is convinced Obama isn't good for the country what does that tell you? And by Most Americans, I'm talking about the ones that will actually vote. I would say 85% of Americans out there couldn't tell you who our Speaker of the House is or name more than 3 supreme court justices, or even pick out Nebraska on a map, therefore, to me, they are insignificant. These are the ones that are falling for his hype and rhetoric and the ones being polled. I think the closer we get to the election the more he's going to slip down the polling slopes. And after the first debate where good old Barry doesn't have a teleprompter, we'll all see him in his true light.
I agree. Im in the same boat. Vote McSane. : = D
There is just no way Sen. Obama should chose Sen. Clinton as his running mate. Her husband wants center stage and would be extremely disruptive to the administration. It's all about Bill.
Although i do respect the Clintons, there is absolutely no way that Obama can choose Sen. Clinton as VP, his entire campaign is running on a New Washington platform, the Clintons are part of the Old Washington. It would make no sense.
Obama isn't new Washington, he's Old Chicago pay to play politics.
If Obama doesn't reach out to the Clintons, he reduces his chances of having an administration
Obama is not what this country needs either! Its almost unbelievable that out of all the candidates running in the primary, we ended up with these 2 to choose from. But now we have to choose between Obama and McCain. Obama has no experience and has alot of baggage of his own. McCain is 71 years old I think most Hillary supporters who are voting for McCain are doing so because they dont like Obamas inexperience and because we need to elect a president that knows how the government works. The economy and the world can not afford to vote in a candidate that has to learn everything as he goes along. Thats why I am voting for McCain. McCain will be ready to run this country from day one.
