The Washington Post's David Broder:...It's Particularly A Moment Where John McCain Can Claim To Have Been Prescient.... NBC's DAVID GREGORY: David Broder, is this a 3 a.m. moment for foreign policy for these candidates? WASHINGTON POST's DAVID BRODER: It is and it's particularly a moment where John McCain can claim to have been prescient. Because in his basic foreign policy speech two months ago and in an interview that I did with him last week, he draws a very sharp line when it comes to Russia. He says these people are being aggressive and imperialist. There is no confusion, in his mind, about the character of the Putin-Medvedev government and he is prepared, I think, to make the case that this is a demonstration of exactly what he has been arguing for. Broders description of McCain was prescience as mentioned in HolyRollers blog. I had to look it up even though I had a feeling what it meant given the circumstances now with Russia and Georgia.

      Definition of prescience
      pres·cience (pres??h?????ns, -?? ??ns; pr?????s??h??ns, -s??h?? ??ns)
      noun

WORD MEANS: Apparent knowledge of things before they happen or come into being; foreknowledge.
      foresight, prediction, anticipation.

Here is the VIDEO of McCains speech that includes him drawing a hard line when it comes to Russia as Holy mentions in his post above. The word judgment and vision comes to mind here.

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXaAVSQs1eU

Here is the actual speech (words) typed out:
      http://www.cfr.org/publication/15834/

      Talk about foresight.

Alright, I'm back, and I'm ready to kick some ass. I've looked over the comments through newsweek and found some of the most important subjects(at least discussed) and here's what I got.

Hillary voters( why should I vote for Obama?)
We'll. Hillary supporters, I've mentioned this before, and I'll mention this again. You voted for Hillary for a reason, to not have another Republican in office, to put a Clinton in office.(since the last Clinton in office did a good job) I know Obama isn't a Clinton, but as you heard in the primaries, Clinton and Obama share much to the same views and goals. If Obama's ever going to go to anyone for advice, it's going to be the Clintons. They've been through presidential elections before, they've won presidential elections before. The Clintons will be Obama's biggest friends and biggest allies in this race. Now, I'm not saying all Hillary voters "have" to vote for Obama. But any Hillary supporter who thinks Mccain is closer to a Clinton, to Hillary, than Obama is, is utterly insane.

Next we turn to experience. You say Obama is too inexperienced to be president yet Mccain is. (Yet the first point I want to point out, is neither candidate has experience being
president). George Bush also had "experience" before he came into office, yet he's run our country to ***. We had a surplus going into 2000, yet now, we are nearing a recession, millions of people are going bankrupt and losing their homes and businesses, over 4,000 soldiers have died in an unnecessary war( and unwinnable war), and so much more. Even the most "experienced" leader can run a country into the toilet. So clearly, experience doesn't define a good president. I mean, isn't it better to have an inexperienced president with the right idea, than an experienced president with the wrong idea.

Next we have the Reverand Wright issue. You say you're all scared of Obama because of his association with Reverand Wright. I have plenty of stupid friends who've I've been friends with for years and years, but it doesn't mean I share their ideas or opinions, or have become stupid or crazy by hanging out with them. I mean that's just stupid. I mean who hasn't had a stupid friend or one that was just a little off their rocker, I mean really.

    Continued below

  • Posted By: Notrepublican @ 08/11/2008 6:03:25 AM

Another top issue is flip-flopping. It's a term used on both sides. Many people on Newsweek say they're scared of Obama flip-flopping. Yet, if you paid any attention, You'd notice that Senator Mccain has made many flip-flops himself. I mean, he's gone from pro life, to pro choice, from against Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy, to for Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy, and many more.<http://www.thecarpetbaggerreport.com/archives/9111.html>. As for offshore drilling, Obama didn't flip-flop, he said he was open to the idea if it was part of a bigger energy plan. Is being open to an idea seriously that bad? But overall, when you really think about it, who's never changed their ideas, who can say they've never changed or reversed their ideas even once?

The next issue is National Security. You say you trust Senator Mccain to protect this country. Yet over the past couple days he's been slammed by Paris Hilton's mom, even Paris Hilton herself recently. If Mccain can't even protect himself from an old women, from Paris Hilton and her mother for Christ's sake, how can you expect him to protect the rest of the country.

Lastly, there is the issue of Iraq and Obama listening to the generals on the ground. You say you don't trust Obama because he won't listen to the generals and instead implement his 16 month timetable no matter what they say. Yet even senator Mccain, the person who
got the enemy factions confused, was corrected, than said the same mistake again, complemented Obama's 16 month timetable. I mean, we may not be on the same page here, but if even senator Mccain complements the timetable, than isn't that a good plan, isn't that a good timetable. I mean, that's what I believe anyway.

Well there you go, I hope you enjoy it, thanks for taking your time to read it.

Barack Obama is a nobody in every way compared to former President Bill Clinton. I think that former President Bill Clinton has every right to be unhappy with the Obama campaign and the press for unjustly labeling him as a racist during the primary campaign. That was just one of many of Obama's underhanded campaign tactics during the primary. No one could be any further from being a racist than Bill Clinton. Barack Obama and especially his wife, Michele, are ten times more racist than Bill Clinton could ever be. Obama's supporters called everyone on the Internet racist if they posted anything about Obama not being qualified to be president. I will predict if Obama is lucky enough to win one term as president, he will not be elected to a second term. I sincerely hope Barack Obama will fail in his quest for power and not win the presidency of the USA.

Even though Hillary Clinton has asked her supporters to vote for Obama, I will not vote for Obama. I will vote against Obama by voting for John McCain because I trust John McCain, and I definitely do not trust Obama. In my opinion, Barack Obama needs the Clintons more than they need him. Barack Obama needs to work a while longer in the U.S. Senate to prove he has done anything worthy of being elected president of the USA. Of course, Obama has an ego so huge he thinks he is already president of the USA. Giving a few speeches to big crowds with the media fawning over him does not make Obama a leader.

Bill Clinton labeled himself a racistt with his comments after the South Carolina primary. It wasn't only the Obama campaign, but long time Bill Clinton supporters (Donna Brazille, George Stephanopolous), as well as supporters of Hillary's campaign (many current members of congress) that thought he went too far. But I know, Bill Clinton, as well as you Clinton supporters would like to conviently forget that.. You also would like to forget that it has been African-Americans that have been the staunchest Bill, and Hillary Clinton supporters. During the impeachment precedings when many Democrat's were calling for Bill Clinton's head, and distancing themselves, it was black's that offered the most support. When white's were saying how dissappointed, and disgusted they were with Clinton, it was blacks that voiced the loudest defense of him. Which was one of the reason's he put his offices in Harlem. Obama's
underhanded? And Hillary Clinton on 60 minutes subtley suggesting thatObama might indeed be a
Muslim wasn't underhanded? Her keeping silent about the Rev. Wright. controversy...until the spotlight got
turned on her regarding her fantasy Bosnia mission, then all of a sudden she felt the need to speak out
about Rev. Wright, and how she "wouldn't have stayed in the church for 20 yrs.". That wasn't
underhanded? Do I think Bill Clinton is a racist, no. Do I think he, and Hillary would have done, and said
absolutely ANYTHING to secure her the nomiantion? Absolutely. Apparently you selectively read the post's
during the primaries.Few comment's were about Obama's policies. I suspect that is because there is very
little difference between his policies, and Hillary's. Most post 's were about his racist pastor, his supposed
Muslim heritage (he's CHRISTIAN), flag pins, "bittergate", his swearing into the Senate on the Koran.

(false)...etc. George Bush the worst president in the history of this country was elected to a second term. If you think Barack Obama willl be a worse president than George Bush, then you have already lost not only all credibility, but your mind. If George Bush can be elected to a second term, ANYBODY can be elected to
      a second term.
As for you voting for John McCain, please go one step further, and join the Republican party. No real Democrat would ever vote for John McCain, and the Republican agenda. Leave the Democratic party to true Democrats. I trust John Mccain too. Itrust him to coyinue an occupying force in Iraq, Itrust him to start a war with Iran, Itrust him to provide more tax cut's to the rich, I trust him to make more trade deals that don't benefit Americans. I trust him to provide 4 billion dollars in tax breaks for big oil. I trust him to do nothing to make healthcare more affordable, I trust him to do his best to stck the supreme court, and overturn Roe V. wade...etc.

People that are blaming Obama for starting the playing of the race card, are either naive or blind. McCain began playing the race card covertly and subtexually in the release of the infamous Paris Hilton video. It was full of racial undertones. Face the truth people.

How you got anything out the Paris Hilton video ad is beyond normal thinking. The word that comes to mind is delusional. Explain the racial undertones you speak of. . . if you can. LOL.

Obamas playing of the race card goes back to his early political days in Chicago. This article (for those who want to learn more) is lengthy but informative . It provides readers with some insight into Obamas early political caree - the time between his first campaign for the Illinois State Senate in 1995 and his race for U.S. Senate in 2004, which can fairly be called the LOST YEARS, the span of years that you never hear Obama talk much about.

      Barack Obama's Lost Years
The senator's tenure as a state legislator reveals him to be an old-fashioned, big government, race-conscious liberal.

Howard, I resent what you wrote about Bll Clinton. Mentioning Machievelli in the same sentence with Bill clinton is an insult and shows a great deal of ignorance and lack of appreciation for Bill's numerous accomplishments. Howared, why don't you compare Obama and Bush to Bill Clinton, you will see that you and the media has been doing a great disservice to the nation with your lies. Obama has an obligation to contnue the Clinton legacy by including Hillary in the ticket, anything short of that many dems will stay home. If Obama can flip of capital punishment, abortion, campaign finance, oil drilling, warrantless domestic spying and many more, he can flip on his so called change and include hillary to the ticket to guaratee a win in november. the nation is still divided and will go for mccain for his experience and for being a white.

    • Posted By: loriw @ 08/10/2008 1:43:18 AM

And would Bill's numerous accomplishments include cheating on his wife, lying to her and the American people about it, being convicted of perjury, being disbarred, or stealing property that belonged to the White House and the American people? Which accomplishments were you referring to?

Bill Clinton was disbarred for 5 years. That time period expired awhile back so he actually could be practicing law if he wanted to. But who in their right mind would do that if one, like Bill, can make millions of dollars doing speeches each year. Last I read he made 10million just for speech engagements. What a great gig. I dont think he will go back into Law. At least I wouldnt. LOL.

After reading this article, I still don't see why they HAVE to make peace. Hillary LOST. Barack WON. It's as simple as that. I'm tired of hearing about hurt feelings, and that the Obama's have to cater to all the Clinton's needs and demands. Obama WON THE NOMINATION. Hillary LOST. Bill WAS NOT A CANDIDATE. He was the SPOUSE of a candidate. Looking at the current polls and mock electoral votes, Obama does not need Bill traveling around the country for him making contriversy. I think the media sometimes would love for that to happen. I personally feel that there is no reason to still be talking about the Clintons. It's time to move on. We're all grown-ups here.

    • Posted By: hkmcs @ 08/11/2008 4:55:51 AM

They have to make peace because Obama only won the primaries but not the general election. He's inexperieced and needs all the support he can get. When that happens one has to get someone who's influential to support them in order to get the big prize. Have I spelled it out clearly enough for you?

Jealousy is a hard pill to swollow, Remeber the first family in the Bible?... • Posted By: busby @ 08/09/2008 7:34:34 PM

Obama (through his surrogates) treated the Clintons despicably. Like him or not, he was a good president and the country had good times. He is a former president and, as such, should be treated with respect. To have stated that he made racist comments or was a racist was beyond the pale. And Obama needs to understand that. If Obama wants respect perhaps he should learn to give it even if it hurts. He seems to have a vindictive streak or just employs cutthroat chicago cronies. He has shown me nothing to be comfortable about with him as president.

I wish folks at MSNBC that are fumming through their months and nose would read your response and know that Obama cannot in 20 years match the accxomplishments of the Clintons. The insults they heaped on Bill Clinton should never be forgiven or forgotten. Obama does not have the commonsense of the Clintons nor their clout, nor their political skill to avercome the most hostile congress since the creation the nation. Obama's cutthroat abrassive and blackmailing politics will guarantee his failure both in the fall and anywhere else. The nation needs change but definitely not another polarizing and vindictive vicious and slimmy infantile brat who is bent on dishonoraing the legend to promote himself.

          • Posted By: loriw @ 08/10/2008 2:03:53 AM

            Clinton's accomplishments..
            Cheating on his wife...repeatedly
Lying to his wife and the American people about it repeatedly
Being convicted of PERJURY and being DISBARRED

you cannot possibly remember the Clinton Administration if you say that. Ask the folks who still had a job, house, gas money and a positive feeling about America if they cared about "embarrassment". Ask if they were embarrassed about having a budget surplus and being at peace? They weren't too embarrassed to give him a 65% approval rating when he left office. One wonders why you are so fascinated with the sexual history of President Clinton.

The Clinton legacy for our youth then was that it is OK to have oral sex because it really isn't sex and also if you get caught....LIE, LIE,LIE. Obama???s Impending Pearl Harbor »
    By Larry Johnson
    Email: larry_johnson@earthlink.net
    Site: http://NoQuarterUSA.net

After a very productive time (working, not playing) in Hawaii, I believe that the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor is an apt metaphor for what awaits Barack Obama if he becomes the Democrat???s official nominee. Michelle???s ???whitey??? tape and the controversy over his birth certificate are the least of his concerns. Opponents of Obama and some proponents of McCain have acquired information that will rapidly erase any memory of the audacity and perfidy of John Edwards.

The ???surprise??? attack by the Japanese should not have caught the US fleet at Pearl Harbor unawares. There were advanced warnings that people in key positions ignored or shrugged off as unimportant. Well, guess what boys and girls? Similar warnings are now in the hands of the Democratic leadership and they are choosing to ignore the flashing red lights that signal danger ahead.

Just today, courtesy of the Rocky Mountain News, we confirmed that Barack aka Barry Soetoro Obama was a citizen of Kenya since 1963. Barack has yet to stipulate when he renounced or relinquished that citizenship. That will be a distracting issue in the upcoming campaign. Americans don???t want to elect a Kenyan as President. It is that simple.

But then there is the Indonesian problem and his Hawaiian birth certificate. Read the rest @NoQuarterUsa.net

Response to loriw ( Posted By: loriw @ 08/10/2008 01:43:18 a.m.below) and others that intensely dislike Bill Clinton. There is one thing that can be said about him. He definitely had many accomplishments and our country was in great shape after he left after 2 terms of presidency.

    BILL CLINTONs VISION AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Economic Leadership and a Stronger Economy
    * Under President Clintons leadership, almost 6 million new jobs were created in the first two years of his Administration, an average of 250,000 new jobs every month.
    * In 1994, the economy had the lowest combination of unemployment and inflation in 25 years.
    * As part of the 1993 Economic Plan, President Clinton cut taxes on 15 million low-income families and made tax cuts available to 90 percent of small businesses, while raising taxes on just 1.2 percent of the wealthiest taxpayers.
    * President Clinton signed into law the largest deficit reduction plan in history, resulting in over $600 billion in deficit reduction. The deficit is going down for 3 years in a row for the first time since Harry Truman was president.

Fighting Crime and Restoring Our Communities
    * The President signed into law the Brady Bill, which imposes a five-day waiting period on handgun purchases so that background checks can be done to help keep handguns away from criminals.
    * The Presidents Crime Bill will put 100,000 new police officers on the street. More than 1,200 communities have already received grants to hire 27,000 additional officers.
    * The Crime Bill also punishes criminals by expanding the number of offenses eligible for the death penalty and implementing the THREE-STRIKES-AND-YOU ARE-OUT provision.
    * And, the Bill banned the manufacture of 19 specific types of deadly assault weapons, while simultaneously protecting hunters rights by exempting over 650 hunting rifles.

Strengthening Our Families: Security and Opportunity
    * President Clinton signed the Family and Medical Leave Act. The law, which covers over 42 million Americans, offers workers up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-guaranteed leave for child birth, adoption, or personal or family illness.
    * P resident Clinton expanded the Earned Income Tax Credit to cut the taxes of 15 million working families with incomes of $27,000 or less.
    * President Clinton granted waivers to 25 states - half the nation - providing for comprehensive welfare reform demonstrations.
    * President Clinton ordered the U.S. Justice Department to conduct the first-ever crackdown on deadbeat parents who refuse to accept financial responsibility for their own children.

(Continued Bill Clinton Accomplishments from my post up above)

      * Signed an Executive Order cracking down on federal employees who owe child support.

      Cutting Bureaucracy
      * President Clinton has already cut the federal bureaucracy by more than 100,000 positions. Under the recommendations of the National Performance Review, the federal bureaucracy will be reduced by 272,000, its lowest level since the Kennedy Administration.
      * And, he reduced the White House staff by 25 percent.

      Making Education A Priority
      * Under the President's Direct Student Loan program, students can borrow money directly from the government at a lower interest rate and with many flexible repayment options, including the option to repay with a percentage of their after-graduation salary. Taxpayers will save at least $4.3 billion over five years.
      * In 1994, over 20,000 AmeriCorps members tutored students, immunized children, reclaimed urban parks, and patrolled neighborhoods. In return, they earned $4,725 per year of service towards college tuition or job training.
      * President Clinton signed into law Goals 2000, a national standard of excellence for our public schools. Already, 41 states and territories have received federal grants to raise academic standards and improve schools.
      * President Clintons Safe and Drug Free Schools and Community Act and the Safe Schools Act provide funding to schools to fight violence and drug abuse. Schools can use up to 25 percent of their funds to purchase metal detectors, develop safe zones, and hire school security personnel.
      * The President's School-to-Work program provides venture capital to spark a nationwide system for moving Americas young people from high school to a job with a future. In 1994, all states received planning funds for their school-to-work program.
      * Charter School legislation signed by President Clinton encourages states and localities to set up public school choice.

      Expanding Markets for American Products
      * The Clinton Administration forged a bipartisan coalition to pass NAFTA, after concluding tough negotiations on side agreements covering workers rights, the environment, and import surges. Exports to Mexico rose 23 percent in the first 11 months of 1994.
      * President Clinton led the fight to pass GATT, which lowers tariffs worldwide by $744 billion over ten years, the largest international tax cut in history. GATT cuts tariffs on manufactured goods by more than one-third overall and eliminates tariffs in major markets in a number of sectors in which the U.S. is particularly competitive.

(Continued from my posts on Bill Clintons Accomplishments above)

        Protecting Our Environment
        * Under President Clinton, the EPA launched its COMMON SENSE INITIATIVE to make health protection cheaper and smarter by focusing on results rather than one-size-fits-all regulations.
        * The Presidents Northwest Forest Plan is putting communities in the Northwest back to work, while conserving ancient forests.
        * After decades of conflict, the Clinton Administration negotiated a consensus plan to protect California's most valuable natural resource -- its water. The San Francisco and Delta estuary supplies drinking water to two-thirds of the states people, provides irrigation for 45 percent of the nations fruits and vegetables, and sustains 300 aquatic species.

        Promoting Security and Freedom Abroad
        * President Clinton hosted the signing of the Israeli-Palestinian Declaration of Principles in September, 1993, and the signing of the Israeli-Jordan Washington Principles in July, 1994, historic agreements between the leaders of Israel and her Arab neighbors to settle differences by peaceful means.
        * To enhance European security and stability, the Clinton Administration proposed the Partnership for Peace program, offering former Soviet republics and Central/East European states closer ties with NATO. Already, 22 nations have signed on, since NATOs adoption of the program in January, 1994.
        * As of May, 1994, nuclear missiles in Russia and the United States are no longer targeted against any country. And, as a result of other Clinton Administration efforts, the Ukraine is ahead of schedule in reaching the goal of transferring 1,500 nuclear warheads to Russia for dismantlement.
        * President Clinton peacefully restored democracy to Haiti, curbing the violence that threatened tens of thousands of Haitians, securing our borders, and upholding our commitments and the commitments made to us in the process.

is this including his 10 point jump after his presidential tour of anywhere but where our brave troops (voters) are hospitalized?

      • Posted By: loriw @ 08/10/2008 1:39:00 AM

Glad you brought that point up that Obama skipped seeing the injured troops while in Europe.
That really knocked him down a good 10 points in my personal poll.
What a dis to our injured soldiers. I heard he had more pressing matters such as exercising at the Ritz where he was staying. But it probably won't matter since I doubt the military will be providing those soldiers absentee ballots so why should Obama care about them.

        • Posted By: Notrepublican @ 08/10/2008 2:09:20 AM

Actually, the soldiers do vote. How about Mccain, how many times has he even been to the Middle East during this presidential election?hmmmm, what's the number I'm looking for, oh yeah, 0.

            ZERO? Wrongggggggggg! ; -)

            * In mid-March 2008 McCain made his EIGHT (8th) trip to IRAQ since the US-led invasion began in 2003. He returned to Baghdad as part of his major Mideast trip, to inspect the progress of the surge.

            * McCain made his SEVENTH (7th) trip to IRAQ over the THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY November 2007.

            * McCain made his SIXTH (6th) trip to IRAQ over the FOURTH OF JULY 2007

            * McCains FIFTH (5th) visit to IRAQ was made in early-APRIL 2007

. . . . And 4 more trips prior to the above to visit IRAQ between 2003 and 2006.

You should do your homework before making a statement like that. : - (

My response To Notrepublican post down below ( Posted By: Notrepublican @ 08/10/2008 02:09:20)

Notrepublican chided a blogger about McCain not having gone to Iraq at all during this Presidential campaign; you said McCain went there zero times. WRONG! ; - D . . You should do your homework first.

    * In mid-March 2008 McCain made his EIGHT (8th) trip to IRAQ since the US-led invasion began in 2003. He returned to Baghdad as part of his major Mideast trip, to inspect the progress of the surge.

Harold - Obama is also a once-in-a-generation talent. Saying so in one of your articles does not make you partisan, either, anymore than saying it about WJC is. McCain on the other hand is... adopting Bush/Rove campaign tactics of late. What a leader...

  • Posted By: juniperberry @ 08/11/2008 12:19:14 AM

Not only that, Howard--he needs voters.

  • Posted By: lithium451 @ 08/11/2008 12:09:32 AM

Howard, you must have a much better television than I do. On my screen Clinton's complexion looked positively normal compared to some of his earlier campaign appearances.

Win or lose, I can't wait to hear the details Clinton promised about the Obama campaign's tactics, once the election is over. Of course by then it will be either moot or too late. If Obama is elected it ought to at least be enough to give him an Advil moment.

  • Posted By: lottapaws @ 08/09/2008 6:49:26 PM

Barrack is NOT the uniter he wants us to believe that he is. Barrack holds a grudge, he can't even make nice with Bill Clinton. Such arrogance is dangerous in a leader, and I hope he learns a bit of humility soon.

    • Posted By: what? @ 08/09/2008 9:02:29 PM

he has been such a graceful *winner* hasn't he? the man above the faith who wants to stop old washington politics? who can possibly believe any of that after watching him characterize The Clintons as racists? obama camp already had compiled a memo claiming racism--before Mr Clinton made a single statement in SC. and doesn't obama claim to be the transcender of race?? yeah words and actions don't exactly jive with obama.

      • Posted By: cult followers @ 08/10/2008 12:10:54 AM

for real? got a link to that memo? I wonder if it included Jesse Jr's call to !!investigate!! Sen Clinton's tears. desperately pathetic.

        • Posted By: katvan @ 08/11/2008 12:07:05 AM

I didn't believe that till I saw it on You tube. "Investigate" tears? And isn't he the head of Obama's campaign? Don't you love how Jr rode on Sr's coattails and then BAM! the minute Sr speaks up, Jr rags at him. Why? Jr's looking for a sweet job.

  • Posted By: Cantabrigian @ 08/09/2008 8:46:57 PM

    Bill Clinton doesn't need Obama!

  • Posted By: samsung @ 08/09/2008 9:15:57 PM

I used to have great deal of respect for the Clintons, they lost me for good. He did it to himself he has nobody
    else to blame. Thank you

    • Posted By: what? @ 08/09/2008 9:30:37 PM

did you also have respect for former presidential hopeful and enthusiastic Obama endorser, John Edwards? "he did it to himself and no one else to blame." His words about Mr Clinton were absolutely lovely back then. Have we heard the same from Mr Clinton about Edwards?

      • Posted By: loriw @ 08/10/2008 1:53:39 AM

Clinton probably slapped Edwards on the back and said "way to go buddy, I wanted to nail her too but you beat me to it!"

        • Posted By: mattie against MSM bias @ 08/10/2008 3:06:11 PM

lovely...i can't believe you're still at it. How old are you? Are you even old enough to vote?

          • Posted By: loriw @ 08/10/2008 6:44:18 PM

voted in about 8 Presidential elections...do the math . Besides those I vote in every election.
            Next question.

            • Posted By: dick kay @ 08/10/2008 7:11:20 PM

Then that is very, very sad. A grown woman saying such foul childish things. Are you proud of yourself?

              • Posted By: katvan @ 08/10/2008 9:51:51 PM

she gave it away with "about". One remembers exactly how many presidents they voted for especially if they vote in every election.

                • Posted By: loriw @ 08/10/2008 10:24:58 PM

OK smartass, I have a birthday of 11/2 ... and couldn't remember if I was 18 yet in 1976. This will be my 8th Presidential election. Geeze didn't think it was such a big deal to you all.

                  • Posted By: katvan @ 08/11/2008 12:03:21 AM

methinks thy doth protest too much.

                • Posted By: loriw @ 08/10/2008 10:27:14 PM

So if one remembers such things exactly how many elections have you voted in and which candidate did you voted for...quiclky now...
This is easy if you are young...gets harder the more elections you have participated in!

              • Posted By: loriw @ 08/10/2008 10:28:57 PM

                yep!
