Perhaps the US government won't need to inflate its terrorism-arrest stats after it implements the Defense Science Board's recommendation. This influential committee inside the Pentagon has proposed a terrifying way to fight evil-doers: Goad them into making terrorist attacks. Yes, you read correctly. Instead of waiting for a plot to be hatched and possibly executed, go out and make it happen.
In summer 2002, the Defense Science Board outlined all kinds of ways to fight the war on terrorism around the world. The scariest suggestion involves the creation of a new 100-man, $100-million team called the Proactive Pre-emptive Operations Group, or P2OG.
This combination of elite special forces soldiers and intelligence agents will have "an entirely new capability to proactively, pre-emptively provoke responses from adversary/terrorist groups," according to the DSB's report.
Just how the P2OG will "provoke" terrorists into action is not specified, at least in the unclassified portions of the report. United Press International - which apparently has access to the full, classified version of the report - says that techniques could include "stealing their money or tricking them with fake communications." The Moscow Times offers further possibilities, such as killing family members and infiltrating the groups with provocateurs, who will suggest and even direct terrorist strikes.
Once the terrorists have been provoked, what then? UPI says that by taking action, the terrorists would be "exposing themselves to 'quick-response' attacks by US forces." In other words, the plan is to hit the hornet's nest with a stick, while waiting nearby with a can of bug spray. The flaws in this approach are obvious. Although not spelled out in the UPI article or the report itsef, the idea seems to be that the P2OG will cause terrorists to make an attack but supposedly stop them right before the attack actually occurs. Will the P2OG always be able to prevent terrorism it creates from taking place? Will it always be able to "neutralize" all of the terrorists during that crucial window after a plan has been put into motion but before it's been carried out? I wouldn't want to bet lives on it. But that's exactly what's happening.
Whenever any future terrorist attack occurs - an embassy is truck-bombed, a nightclub is blown to smithereens, prominent buildings are hit with hijacked passenger jets - we'll never be 100 percent sure that this wasn't an operation the P2OG provoked but then was unable to stop in time.

Pea brain, Mr Bush never had the wisdom and intelligence to resolve dispute through negotiation but instead pointed, guns, bullets, cruise missiles and smart bombs and megatons bombs those he considered his enemies. President George W Bush still believes that America should "inspire fear" and attack Iran. He became drunk and intoxicated with military power under his command and misused it immorally and criminally to invade and bully people and the nations, he did not like or hated.
President G W Bush was duplicitous, mendacious, treacherous manipulator of warmongering and lacked direction of history and believes in cowboys mentality, "Kill you enemy before he hits you", and made America hated more than ever before in the world because he misused power that authorized him to be the judge of the universe applying his belligerent logic of justice.
President G W Bush is war criminal and responsible for the death of over one million innocent Iraqis and Afghanis, and causing horrific damage to their country. He is also responsible for crippling US and global economies. I would hope that his departure will be sigh of relief and joy for the whole world. 20 January 2009 should be a day of celebration for singing, dancing and fireworks for billions of people around the world to see the back of one of the biggest warmongers in the world history.

Chris Dodd and Barney Frank who oversaw the Finance Committee , both Democrats by the way , did not bother warning the US government or the public of the pending failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and a few other financial institutions. The Democrats had a big hand in the subprime mortgage crisis with policy they voted in , not George Bush so lets get that straight.

George W.Bush kept the USA safe and he went after the terrorists. Barack Hussein Obama wants to free the terrorists in Guatanamo Bay and grant them human rights..the same people who want to destroy America and kill Americans.

Barack Hussein Obama is a fake and a thug from Chicago politics. He's not ready to be Commander-In-Chief. As noted by Zakaria, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz didn't have a clue as to what was reality in Iraq. All they could see was control of Iraqi oil, major sales in the defense industry and defense of Israel. They had no idea of the differences in the Islamic factions and that Sadam Hussain had a tight lid on politics in Iraq.

Sadam hussain would never allow an Al kada in Iraq. Sadam Hussain would not allow any influence into Iraq, whether it be Iranian or Pakistan or any of the neighboring Arab states. When Sadam lost control, the US lost control, even though the US had no control to start with. A military force is not control. The US military force became a target and the battle cry for dissidents. The US actions in Iraq gave strength and new warriors to the Al Kada groups.

Obama begin with ACORN by funneling millions into their organization. He then trained ACORN to stage protests in banks to force them to issue risky loans or they would be threatened to face racial charges. ACORN was trained to intimidate financial institutions into giving ???Ninja??? loans to people with NO assets, NO job and NO income, who couldn???t afford these loans.

That caused the housing bubble two years ago it was by ACORN's actions they were able to destroy our credit system.

As this played out, D-Barney Frank and D-Chris Dodd were able to cover up the millions of improvident loans to these bad risky house buyers. And Barney Frank and his chums successfully were able to block all of President Bush's attempts to put a rein on this problem.

So Fannie & Freddie was forced to purchase all these failed subprime mortgages.

Then both Frank and Dodd denied that there were any problems, and refused the Bush Admin. requests to set up a regulatory agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and they were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting sub-prime mortgage loans almost up to the 'minute they failed'.

Democrats then blamed Bush saying it happened on his watch knowing it would hurt the Republican Party in the election setting it up that Barack Obama could use this to his advantage.

I hope that the next administration can do something to repair our relations with the Middle East. There was a
time in the not so far past, that the middle eastern countries seemed to be more open to the West, engaging in trade, participating in the World Exposition Fairs and so on. I hope that the Israelis and Palestinians can
learn to live in peace.
