    P.U.M.A
    Article: Obama, Serial Disrespectful Sidler
    July 27, 2008

Anyone remember the episode of Seinfeld where Elaine had a co-worker that somehow managed to show up every single time she was being praised for something at work and then TAKE CO-CREDIT FOR IT? Well, that is what Obama is starting to remind people of. Take for instance his rock star appearance in Germany last month. If you listened to the MSM you would think Obama really was a rock star. But if you took the time to dig into what actually took place, you would learn that the SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION OBAMA SPEECH actually immediately followed a free concert by two very popular bands, Reggae PATRICE and rock band Reamonn. You would also learn that there was lots of FREE BEER, BRATWURST AND PIZZA.

STAGE WAS SET for Obama to Take Germany by Storm

Police advised that spectators seeking TO GET CLOSE to the Democratic senator had to arrive at least THREE HOURS EARLY. Yet, while waiting they can indulge in pizza, bratwurst and beverages in one of the TWO DOZEN FAST-FOOD STALLS LINING THE TWO-MILE LONG BOULEVARD. There are also live performances - FREE CONCERTS - of German rock band Reamonn and Reggae singer Patrice.

If this was an isolated incident we could probably ignore it. But the truth is that Obama used the exact mode of operation when he supposedly wowed Oregon. He claimed to have 75,000 people there at the Portland Waterfront Park to just SEE HIM when in actuality the majority of people went there to see a FREE CONCERT by a very popular band - The Decemberists!

72,000 gather at Portlands Waterfront Park (supposedly) just to see Obama:

Obama was the biggest star at Sundays gathering, though a popular Portland band, THE DECEMBERISTS, provided the warm-up act (free concert). With blue skies and temperatures in the 80s (perfect day), many in the crowd said Waterfront Park was simply the place to be. And JUST LIKE THE BERLIN SPEECH NOTHING WAS MENTIONED IN THE MainStreamMedia.

(Continued from post in the Reply area above)

FREE CONCERT by Popular Band, THE DECEMBERISTS, Preceded Obamas OREGON Big Rally:

Unmentioned in national reporting was the fact that Obama was preceded by a RARE, 45-minute FREE CONCERT by actual rock stars THE DECEMBERISTS. The Portland-based band has drawn RAVE REVIEWS FROM ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE, which gave their 2005 album Picaresque four and a half stars (out of five), and another four and a half stars for 2007s The Crane Wife.

The most troubling aspect of both of these speeches is that Obama managed to insult people that lay their lives on the line every day to make the rest of us safe. The incident in Berlin was not a fluke. It demonstrated a perpetual callous disregard for the sacrifices made by people the rest of us hold in the highest regard. But not Obama.

Obama Uses Police Memorial for Porta Potties:

Police officers in Portland, Oregon, are still waiting for an apology from Barack Obama after campaign staffers of his recent rally in Portland, Oregon, setup porta- potties DIRECTLY ON TOP of the Portland Police MEMORIAL, which honors the agencys 25 fallen police officers.

The Obama OREGON rally drew a crowd of over 75,000 people.

Officer Thomas Brennan, who was working overtime at the rally, took a picture of the offending toilets, with the American FLAG STILL AT HALF MAST because of Police Officers MEMORIAL DAY, directly behind them. The local law enforcement memorial service had been held at the site only five days earlier.

So whether it is snubbing the wounded warriors in Germany last month or p*ssing on the fallen police officers in Oregon, Obama apparently has only one mission, which is to make it appear as if he is a compassionate man with HORDES OF ADORING FANS that worship his every word. But the facts speak otherwise, which is why we say NO DEAL.

Continued- And even more boring... and silly. I'm falling asleep already and it's only 8:00 am. Sharenews, instead of posting more silly anti-Obama nonsense you should be focusing on helping your candidate John McCain. After all he is your candidate, is he not?

Third attempt: THANK YOU for the wonderful illustration of Bush by Parada. More Americans (and Europeans and Africans) than you know admire this man and see him as a sincere public servant and a voice for human liberty in a world full of charlatans. He's gotten a great deal "right" but you in the press never gave him a chance, and you lied - and LIED - about him re Katrina. History will vinidicate Bush. I don't know what it will do to the press of this era

    • Posted By: Cazador1972 @ 08/09/2008 7:53:43 PM

You know, I'm from Latin America and have traveled quite a bit, I really haven't meant all those people who admire Bush that you are talking about. What see is a hypocritical man who after stealing an election (2000) wants to force other countries to "follow a democratic process". Just because the present finds Bush a failure doesn't mean the future will find him a hero, that's just something he tells himself to feel better about the mess he's made.

      • Posted By: detroiter876 @ 08/10/2008 12:29:02 PM

I'm glad to see that the Socialists outside the media can comment here too. Work on getting rid of Chavez before you come after our democratically elected President.

        • Posted By: Cazador1972 @ 08/10/2008 11:21:52 PM

I don't know which socialists you are talking about. I served in uniform and defended with my life your right to run your mouth as you choose.

By the way detroiter, Bush was not elected by a democratic process in 2000. He was elected de facto by the Supreme Court. Chavez is an illegitimate president, but so was Bush.

My reply may have a bit more agressive than I intended and I apologize if I was condescending. I appreciate your service and will always be grateful to those that have served. We are on two different sides on how we view the Bush administration. While I abmit that there were miscalculations made I believe in and agree with the overall reason and application of the foreign policy that has been advanced. I can see the things that have occured for the right reasons, even if they didn't meet with the approval of others. I firmly believe that we didn't do this for imperial reasons, we went in to contain the radical muslim threat and the extend democracy into that region of the world. Not our democracy, the democracy they eventually decide upon. If we had wanted their oil, we would have taken it and said to hell with the rest of the country. If we wanted to find WMD's at all cost then we would have, but we're not in the business of planting evidence.
We have different views and we're not going to reconcile them here, but I hope you understand we're not on different sides. We both want this counrty to be the world leader that is was and is.

you live in the past when America was actually respected.

      • Posted By: Twister52 @ 08/10/2008 8:36:59 PM

        raddave -

America would be a whole heck of a lot more respected today if OUR OWN LIBERAL MEDIA would exercise an ounce of intelligence and patriotism and not insist on showing the world only America's flaws. Do we make mistakes as a nation? Absolutely. Do we show them to others? Sure. Do we do "good things"; things that bless and enrich the lives of Americans at home and our international neighbors too? YES! But do we talk about THOSE things in our media? Get real.....

        • Posted By: raddave @ 08/11/2008 12:40:47 AM

Our media does not have to point out our flaws, the other countries media is far worse about the U.S. than our own is.

Apparently there were some punctuation problems with my last Posting (replacing apostrophes with question marks and all that). They may have occurred in the uploading process. Let's try this again. . .
Comment: I am pleased to see some cool-headed individuals sticking up for this dismally unpopular President. For the record, I have no problem with people criticizing President Bush, even though I personally like him, so long as their criticism is LEGITAMITE and RESPECTFUL. By the way. . .why bring up Doug Feith's Jewish Faith? It always strikes me as pathetic how the left - the people who are supposed to value "inclusion", "tolerance" and "diversity" - can be so anti-Semitic sometimes (and you wonder why Joe Lieberman endorsed McCain). DID YOU KNOW that Feith's grandfather lost his parents and SEVEN OF HIS SIBLINGS in the Holocaust (the brainchild of a left-wing radical dictator)? My source on that, F.Y.I., was not some "right-wing Zionist" blog but MAUREEN DOWD, the bitchy, liberal New York Times columnist. Furthermore, we are definitely NOT less safe than we were 7 years ago ... Notice that we've not had a terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11, whereas under Clinton we had the World Trade Center bombing, the Oklahoma City bombing, attacks on U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. . .not to mention the attacks on U.S. troops in Mogadishu, bombing of the Khobar Towers and the U.S.S. Cole. If you think you can handle more truth, then read my posting below (Posted @ 08/11/2008 2:21:37 PM).

President George W. Bush did far more harm than good. I never thought I would see the United States associated with torture. That alone did irreparable damage to our reputation. And listening to Americans' phone calls and monitoring their e-mails without warrants, politicizing the Justice Department, creating black sites, Guantanamo and the horrors of Abu Ghraib? I thought we were fighting the war on terror so no bad man could take over our country and do those very things.

    • Posted By: star3 @ 08/11/2008 9:06:46 PM

Er..excuse me Ethel, but just how many terrorist did we behead? You think it was OK for the terrorist to behead news reporters, and all those others? I don't recall that we did that to anyone, but in a war, the objective is to WIN, and the rules don't apply with this enemy. This is a different type enemy than any we have ever had to deal with before, or haven't you noticed that? Terrorist don't care a rat's butt about life-not ours, or their own. They think dying for their Allah will "glorify" them, and they will be given 10 virgins when they arrive in Heaven. They have one goal: Kill the rest of the world who do not think as they do, and that is not limited to America. Some parts of the world think the terrorist aren't interested in killing them; they are wrong--dead wrong, as the Russians learned, and the British to mention a couple. They wanted to damage America first, thinking we would back off if they hurt us bad enough, leaving the way open for them to move in on every ither part of the world. They did not succeed, and we are despertly trying to make sure they never succeed. Yeah, the economy is hurting, but I don't believe the democrats are the ones to fix it, they are part of the problem. And I feel a senator in congress should be limited to no more than two terms, same as the president; after two terms, they are out, and someone else is in. That should be on the ballot in this election for the public to decide if its reasonable for a congress person to be allowed to serve only two terms, then new ones should be elected, the same ones could not be on the ballot again.

Star3...Some ppl are so blinded by Obamas pure white light eminating from him, and deafend by the sound of the glorifying media music, that its hopeless to get there attention...Once Obamas Marde Gras style run is over and the Obamites are hungover and have become sickened by just the sight of him , then will they listen..Until then have fun with the dum ones that verbally insult. I do!

        • Posted By: star3 @ 08/12/2008 3:43:51 PM

Agree, Observer. You really have to pity people who are so willing to allow themselves to be charmed by sparkling promises, which, when the wrapping comes off, they will find only ashes under all that pretty wrapping. If their ignorance were only limited to doing harm to themselves, that would be bad enough, but it isn't, their refusal to accept truth is a danger to all of us. That is why I have given up on their ever seeing the situation as it really is, and am concentrating on trying to prevent their having any access to power. Yes, we have always been a two party nation, and up until recent years it worked fine--most of the time, but these people who call themselves democrats today, are not the same type who were of the old party. They seem more inclined in working toward the demise of American values, than in upholding them. There was a friend, years ago, who kept saying there was something going on in this country that we had better be aware of, but we just chuckled at him and felt he was being paranoid; now we know better, he was more observant than we were at that time, now, we've been forced to face it, and we're all aware--at least those of us who can still spot a phoney when we see one, and who have insight to our inner feelings about things. Hope the rest will wake up from their self-induced trance before its too late.

Seriously? we have been torturing since we stepped foot on american soil. you are extremely ignorant when it comes to warfare and the tatics used. there is nothing wrong with torture in my opinion. causing pain in one to save the lives of many...yep, if it saves the lives of our troops and citizens, i'm all for it. the only reason you know about it now is thanks to our need for breaking news. no one knew of the torture the US conducted in WW2 or even Desert Storm, but to think it didn't happen would be to live in a state of denile...people need to realize that the world is not occupied by people who are willing to sit and discuss the differences in policies and 'hug it out.' sometimes war is necessary. do i think we should have gone to war in iraq? no...but we're there and to rebuild a country after we ousted it's government will take time. we can sit and point fingers all day long, but that will not accomplish anything. sure, bush was wrong and he mislead the american people...but now we need to do our jobs and clean it up. i'm sorry, but i can see straight through obama's crap. it's sad that so many people think he's the greatest candidate ever. not to relate him policy wise, but hitler was just as good of an orator as obama...and look at the mess he caused. obama lacks experience and the knowledge of what is needed for the amercian people. anyone can stand there and ramble on about the problems of the country...anyone can use a staff of over 200 professionals to figure out foreign affairs...let's face it, my 5 year old could sum it all up if he was surrounded by obama's staff. give me someone who actually speaks with conviction...clearly, obama doesn't...and if you'd don't see that, you're blind. i'm not saying mccain is great...but i have no faith in obama at all. everyone always wants the newest toy...until they get it and realize it wasn't what they expected it would be.

Eh? Turning dogs and firehoses on marchers in Selma by police during the Kennedy administration is somehow not ''torture''? Running CIA drug experiments on prisoners during Eisenhower, chain gangs under FDR,police brutality under Bush I,Nixon and LBJ. Teargas and tanks under Clinton,[along with ''extraordinary rendition''a term coined by Richard Clarke, who was then serving under that administration],beatings of prisoners in most of Americas prisons, deprevation of minimal medical assistance. This is a load of garbage,to think that we were somehow the peacable kingdom until Bush took office. No dice. History points to a differant direction.

Wow... lame article. Let's see... we have record breaking federal deficits, presidential endorsement of torture, 2 wars with no end in sight costing $2 BILLION per WEEK, almost 4500 of America's finest dead in said wars, Osama bin Laden STILL at large 7 years after committing the greatest mass murder in US history, tripling of the cost of gasoline, wiretaps and spying on Americans without warrants, a politicization of the Dept of Justice, higher unemployment, fewer Americans with health insurance, bumbling stumpling federal response to disasters, Russia showing new muscle, China just about owning us and Zakaria tells us "it ain't all bad"? Pathetic.

161 days till the end of the Bush administration.

  • Posted By: Grabuse @ 08/12/2008 2:26:41 PM

A n important omission in an otherwise objective analysis of President Bush's foreign policy is his unflinching determination to help Africa grapple with security and developmental challenges thus dissipating the bitterness of the cold war diplomacy of yesteryears !!!

    • Posted By: GrogInOhio @ 08/12/2008 3:04:39 PM

Nothing but lip service so far. As with everything else that Bush apologists like to point toward, the results are no better than the politicization of the DoJ, warrantless wiretaps or the use of torture.

  • Posted By: rpharkness @ 08/11/2008 7:48:39 PM

John Bolton may think that the Bush administration is ???doing its best to ensure a smooth transition to the Obama administration???; however, a more plausible explanation exists. Obviously, Bush???s policies didn???t work out of the box and went down hill. Out of desperation in the waning days of his administration, Bush is trying to beat Obama to the punch and finally implement pragmatic workable policies. Oh by the way, the new administration policies are what Obama has been preaching for years. Bush will leave a huge mess for Obama to clean up but will claim that Obama is just continuing the policies that Bush put into place.

I disagree with the entire sotry about what President Bush got right or wrong. He was attached from the first day in office. The liberals, who are pros at destroying people they dont like kept on messege from the very first day. Every opportunity they got, they would spread mud. Nothing worked for the first four years but them right after the administration told the world that they found no WMD,s, the liberals went crazy. they spread every piece of vennom attaching President Bush. Every day without fail you would hear a democrat or the media say how Bush lied, until finally most of america started to believe the lies that the Democrats were throwing out. even many who loved President Bush didnt want to look dumb so they started to agree with the Dems. Just remember several facts. This is the party that banned smoking from most of our country. This is the party that wants to ban us from eating certain foods. This is the party that wants to implemnt laws telling us when and how much electricity we can use. This is the party that wants certain private shows taken from the airwaves because they dont like them. these are all facts that I have given you. doesnt that sound like what Hugo chavez is doing. Whatever he doesnt like it bans it. We are losing our rights every single day little by little and Americans dont care. when you wake up some day and happen to be reading the bible on the bus and someone comes up to you and takes the bible away from you, warning you that this book has been baned from our country, maybe then will you realize what the democrats and atheists have done .

President Bush is quietly doing a great job of leading and protecting this country while liberals/socialists/whatever they choose to be called, spout off with treasonist propaganda against him and this country. Usually when they can't make a point, they resort to name-calling, school yard taunting and making claims they don't - because they CAN"T - back up. I for one am tired of sitting back and listening to the "Hate America/Hate Bush" garbage from our own media sources and the liberal/socialist politicians who seem to own them.

No-one here hates America, it is your association. Lots of people hate Bush for what he did to the country, and rightfully so. Bush is NOT America. He is just one of the many civil servants that we pay. Just to make it clear, unlike Monica Goodling and other Bush/Chenney minions believe they made an oath to uphold the constitution, with all our civil right enshrined in it, NOT to make Bush happy or more powerful. This is a big difference, which Bush intentionally made opaque.

Let me just say, I am disgusted - but unfortunately, not surprised - at the gratuitous amount of hate contained in these comments. I only allow myself to read through them on the off-chance that I might find one rational individual sticking up for what is right and good in the World. I doubt that any of you who so brutally attack the president could handle the extraordinary intensity and critical challenges of his job. But then, y'all don't care to much for facts and reason, do you? NEWS FLASH: Bush didn't lie to take us to war. Read Doug Feith's book if want to know the truth (provided that a publication devoid of lewd and raunchy images can hold your attention for more than five minutes)! He has not turned this country into a quasi-fascist police state. If it were, then most of you would be in jail or DEAD. Prior presidents have taken far more extreme measures in wartime: FDR approved the internment of 400,000 Japanese-Americans, without regard to what, if any, danger each one of them posed; Lincoln suspended habeas corpus rights during the Civil War and was even willing to let L.P. Milligan, a lawyer whose only "crime" revolved around his Confederate sympathies, be HANGED for TREASON; President Wilson used the Enemy Alien Act to arrest over 6,000 German nationals and hold about 2,300 in internment camps. Some presidents perpetrated or at least facilitated heinous acts when there was no national crisis (see: Andrew Jackson and the Trail of Tears). He has actually done more to relieve the sufferring of millions of the world's poor than any other president. Right here at home, his economic policies have helped create millions of jobs, dig us out of the recession he inherited, relieve the tax burden crushing so many Americans and have actually INCREASED Revenues to the Government. . .with LOWER tax rates! His worst mistakes were allowing out-of-control deficit spending (both by a Democratic Congress and a Republican one) and not changing strategy in Iraq sooner. Thankfully, the counterinsurgency strategy has succeeded (even beyond the expectations of some of its proponents), U.S. casualties in Iraq are down to the lowest level since the March 2003 invasion, and, with any luck, the voters this November will reject the worthless Democrats they elected in 2006 and elect a true fiscal conservative, John McCain, who will help us return to the budget surplus we had when the conservative Republicans were in charge. God bless.

Bush did lie to take us to war and Douglas Feith is a radical, right-wing, militant. He's also a Jew. His account of the run-up to war is self-serving, designed to avoid accountability for his traitorous actions. He has a self interest in hiding the real facts. His opinion cannot be seen as objective by any measure!

lets not forget who achieved the budget surplus ; hint* it wasn't a republican

That's funny???I believe that Newt Gingrich (Speaker of the House), William v. Roth (Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee) and John Kasich (Chairman of the House Budget Committee) were/are ALL Republicans.

Any man worth his salt will stick up for what he believes right, but it takes a slightly better man to acknowledge instantly and without reservation that he is in error.

It is easy to pile on George Bush and this article does this. Here are the things in which GWB was right on to do: He was right to take on terrorism which the article does not address. He was right to take out Saddam Hussein. He was right to lower taxes. He was right education. He was right for personal accountability for all. Were mistakes made... Sure. Last thing, I like a president that does things that are not popular, but are the right things to do and GWB fits. Am I happy with him? No necessarily, but I respect him and the things that he tries to accomplish. This article is just another liberal taking his hatred of GWB in a different slant.

    • Posted By: jnakhoul @ 08/11/2008 4:35:38 PM

this article is the closest justifiable praise mr. bush deserves, i don't think he deserves even a shred of it. does that mean that everything he's done should be thrown out, no. just 99.9%. especially his trickle down tax cuts

      • Posted By: jnakhoul @ 08/12/2008 1:42:16 PM

no im pretty sure that had nothing to do with it. maybe the massive debt spendnig funneled to privitized security firms is what your refering to. or maybe the rebate checks? in any case all he did was make a more regressive tax system

      • Posted By: Gigantus @ 08/11/2008 4:42:46 PM

...oh, those same tax cuts that increased revenue, and kept us going after 9/11...those tax cuts? If only the class-warriors would renew them, we might have a chance.

You mean unpopular things like cooking up phony evidence to fool the world into backing his invasion of Iraq? You mean unpopular things like sending more than 4000 of out bravest young men and women to their death in that phony war?

      Yeah, he's quite a cutup, isn't he?

      • Posted By: Gigantus @ 08/11/2008 4:50:09 PM

Fooled the world? Oh what a cunning evil genius Bush is....why all of the intelligence agencies were similarly fooled....wow, he must actually be brilliant!!!! As for the young men and women who died, they did NOT die in vain.

        • Posted By: wwew @ 08/11/2008 5:13:58 PM

seriously, when is that bs excuse of "all the intelligence agencies blah, blah, blah" excuse gonna die? how many times does it have to be disproved? ALL THE INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES WERE NOT FOOLED, including parts of our own. you should really catch-up.

        • Posted By: litigatormom @ 08/11/2008 5:01:40 PM

Our intelligence agencies had information that seriously undermined their prior, outdated views on WMD in Iraq, and Bush and Cheney did not want to hear it. In particular, they ignored the intelligence provided by a member of Iraq's cabinet that Saddam's WMD program had been disbanded long ago, and instead pressed the CIA to get him to come up with "intelligence" that would support the march to war. Bush and Cheney ignored Tenet's warnings about their assertion that Saddam had tried to buy yellowcake in Africa was not supported by the evidence. Bush and Cheney ignored Iraq's social, ethnic and religious divisions, and instead substituted a fairy tale about chocolates and flowers, despite the existence of knowledgeable experts in the State Department, because those experts were complicating their straightforward drive towards war. They filled Colin Powell's UN speech with lies and exaggerations. Please don't tell me about the intelligence communities. They were incompetent, not because of what they didn't know, but because of what they failed to make the Administration understand.

    • Posted By: litigatormom @ 08/11/2008 4:54:50 PM

He was right to take out Saddam based on a lie? Do you realize that much of our current problem with Iran is due to the vacuum in power created by Saddam's ouster? Do you realize that we've destroyed Iraq's infrastructure, and that five years later we haven't rebuilt what we destroyed, but have only enriched our incompetent and corrupt military contractors? Do you realize we've seriously compromised our credibility in the eyes of the world? America's word is no longer enough, as it was for Charles De Gaulle even during his most prickly and irritating attempt to re-establish French power in the international sphere? Do you realize that Bush has imposed a staggering debt load on our children, and our grandchildren, by refusing to do what all other presidents have done and raised taxes to pay for a war? Do you realize that he's almost broken the military? We don't have enough troops to send to Afghanistan, and we're accept high dropouts and kids with criminal records while we discharge experienced, capable soldiers who happen to be gay?

George W. Bush has done nothing of consequence right, unless he's first been dragged kicking and screaming. And he hasn't been dragged anywhere near enough by either the Congress or by the public.

Why is it when Clintons admin decided God blessed them with the "truth" about Iraqs WMDs, It was all good and dandy. He even dropped some bombs on Iraq, during the Lewinski scandal(no doubt to turn the attention away from his bawl faced lies)claiming Saddam was defying the worlds request to get rid of WMDs that Clintons almighty liars 'Knew" were there.. But Bush runs off the same intel that Clintons admin passed to him, then its "lies"?.HUH?. You fools dont see something wrong with that?.You dont see something wrong with an IMPEACHED LIAR giving the current President the same intel HE bombed Iraq on?? I dont think a DEM/LIB can tell the difference between a lie or the truth. Hell they cant even decide who there wives are.. They all hate each other and LIE to one anothers faces..Good example Obama/Jackson comments, Obama/Clinton comments, and yet they smile at each others faces like they are best buds...LIARS! You Dems have yourselves snowed smiling and saying "vote Obama" while hating him because of the fact that Hill got her rectum beat by "unfair" rules.....

"n many cases the next president should follow rather than reverse them." Yeah, that's what we need. Brilliant! Another follower. We need more followers! America, did you hear that? Not citizens but followers. Iraq never was and never would be a threat to us. The Hare Krishnas have a bigger Army than they did. There is no country in this world that is a threat to us. I'm talking about countries that we don't arm first. The ones that we do arm are scary for about a day. Where is Bill Hicks? This President has done NOTHING right. Please see below at ipanama's response. Need I say more?

If I recall it right, Mr. Zakaria was one of the media voices who supported the current Administration and the Neocon in their push to take us to war in Iraq. This solely disqualifies him to pass judgement on the disastrous Bush, "The Idiot in Chief," Administration. This wayward President did the following things (not an exhaustive list by any means) which makes him the worst President in the US History, bar none:

    1) Lied to the American People about Weapons of Mass Disriuction in Iraq.
    2) Subverted the US Constitution, which the idiot called "just a piece of paper," by violating all kinds of laws, such illegal wiretaps, toture in Al Graib prison, the travesty of Guatanamo Bay, lieing to Congress, producing signing statements that are illegally attached to bills, use public funds to finance Karl Rove's facist pursuit of people such as valrie Plane, etc.
    3) Destriyed US National reputation in the World.

For Mr. Zakaria to disingenously to point out the accomplishment in North Korea, etc, is like for a rape victim to thank the rapist for closing the door after doing the crime, so that no burglar can burgalize the house. Just preposterous.

Objective and insightful. While an imperialistic tone echoes well with some tough folks, a blind ilberalism runs amok among journalists who recently are taking on the fashion of "Free Tibet." It's a tragedy when Mr. Zakaria becomes a lone voice.

Before you turkeys start tossing insults at Pat Buchanan, take a closer look at what he stands for.

He's an Ultra-conservative, an Isolationis who condemns the iraq War and would immediately withdraw. He is 100% onboard with all of the G OLD P policies except the Iraq war.

McCai is just the opposite, he will continue sacrificing troops and defend his stance which he knows to be wrong and at the same time run away from the conservative as fast as his little old legs will carry him.

Hate to tell you this but Buchanan would have won more electoral Votes than McCain will.
