If you haven't seen Bill McDonaugh speak, please take the time to watch this video:

It is probably the most encouraging speech I've ever watched regarding our environmental predicament. We could turn things around a lot faster if decision makers would take the time to listen to him.

I love the suggestion to the college president. Great thinking that solves the college president's problem creatively and practically. It's a way to "have your cake and eat it too": provide all your energy for the building harvesting wind at 1/5 the cost of making the building more efficient and less attractive, and keep you high celings and big windows. Kudos to you WM.

    Dear Mr. Donough,
I am an architect from Germany visiting the US. By chance I read your interview in Newsweek and feel compelled to write to you - which I will do by mail. Your work is very inspiring. My daughter just graduated as a bachedlor of aplied arts in product design at the Gerrit Reitfeld Academy in Amsterdam. She was very inspired by your work and philosophy, as were her teachers.
    Sincerely
    Dervisha Schneider
