Paris would do a better job then Bush. Hopefully she would legalize topfreedom for women like it is in NY & some other places . Before the 1930s topless men were also horrible in America & could get arrested in some places. America is conservative compared to Europe. Paris might even do better then Obama.

As I said before, judge a person by the team. McCain picks a former beauty queen whose foreign policy is she can see Russia from her back window. Wow!! Good start. At least Paris has traveled a good portion of Europe to make money. She might not have a political experience but at least business savvy to bring back the dollars the overseas bank are holding over our head. Unfortunately one business crusader is not enough, we need more or the foreign bank will own everything in short time. Where do you think Congress is going to get 700 billion when the treasury is empty? Foreign banks buying our bonds which has to be paid back with interest. At least, if Paris and team save anybody, it will be those that have money to pay it back. Wall Street bail out is nothing more than corporate welfare, yet we can not rebuild our nation or invest in education for the future. The proof of Paris success is counted in dollars produce; not lies, double talk and helping your buddies at public expense. Paris for me!

The more I think about it; Paris Hilton would probably do a better job of running this country than the 2 idiots who are currently running. At least she would be willing to talk about the issues; unlike Obama and McCain who lie about everything and talk around the issues. Like all politicians McCain and Obama wouldn't know the truth if they stepped in it and it was all over the bottom of their shoes. PARIS FOR PREZ!!!

She couldn't do any worse than the 2 idiots who are currently running for president!

The Paris Hilton for President campaign has now begun. It will be controversial, involve plenty of high and low society personalities. One thing is for sure it will be alot more interesting and add some spice to the present campaign for presidency with Obama and McCain. She does not have much substance or brain power. Hey that might just be what we need. Seems as though all the Harvard and Yale grads we put in office... rob us blind, lead us into conflicts we shouid not be in and waste tax payer money like it was sand being shoveled into the sea.
To hear her theme song - A Real Paris Hilton.... by The Bruce of WIndsor Project -- Go To"

Judge a person by the team they hire and we have proof of the many poor choices for 8 years. Only Collin Powell and Condoleezza Rice are a few of the smart ones but under the dictates of the NeoCons. What is the best way to make friends & influence people; food, wine and a good time. You can not make friends at the point of a gun.

Hey, Paris would do great recruitment posters, "Boys, you country needs you!" and "I want you!" surrounded by Old Glory. What is more American than that? Beauty and money and you too can succeed. Just hire the best people.

Have you heard the Paris Hilton theme song for her campaign to run for President of the USA... It is called A Real Paris Hilton and is by a group called The Bruce of Windsor Project. The song is actually damn good. Check it out at: www.reverbnation.com/thebruceofwindsorproject

Go Paris.... If you get in I am moving to Australia..... Then again how much worse can she be in comparison to George W. , or the alternatives we the people are presently faced with. Truthfully the pool of politicians at the helm in this country are a disgrace.... just check the list .... The HilBillary Clinstones - lying at its best, John Edwards - cheating on his wife while the poor woman is fighting cancer... how low can you go. Well lets see former disgraced Gov. Spitzer of NY- is pretty low in the basement, and even lower former Gov. of NJ McGreavy - now that goes down into the sub-levels, how about that politician from Minnesota playing footsy in the mens room at the airport - he is a real good choice to lead. Lets dig a little deeper... How about former Gov. Barry of Washington DC ... he was a great choice as he was snorting cocaine and paying for it using Taxpayer's money.... SO when you think about it.... How bad could Paris Hilton be?. At least there will some foxy ladies in the White House who may be able to smooze our Euro friends, allies and enemies into a more jovial state of mind.... Where is this country going? .... LOL --OMG

It would certainly give the phrase "Who wants a ride on Air Force One?" a whole new meaning!

She needs to DIAF is what she needs to do. Sad that we have devolved to where this skank is daily news.

I'm sorry, but I think its hilarious. And hey people, it's a joke.....lighten up!

I've always liked Newsweek as a less biased, more truthful and objective source of news, so tell us the truth: How much does she pay you ditships to keep her name out there?

  • Posted By: Martineaux @ 08/13/2008 11:01:59 PM

"Why should Paris Hilton be in the White House?" How about she pays the ditship media to keep her stupid name in the news?

"I have deep, insurmountable fears for the future of the human race." You best with low scholastic scores, education cut backs and unfilled engineering student seats. Then there are emerging nations wanting their own society to mimic USA traditions by pushing demanding educational agendas. Of course there is now more international customers wanting oil from a limited supply. Recall it was the Republicans that killed Carter's energy program to free the USA from oil in the crisis of the 1970s when it went to $1.75. Politicians are smart for only themselves and have the rest of us pay for it. Good example, the Iraq contractors making tax free money, laughing all the way to the bank and protected by their buddies in Washington. Paris could not do any worst because it is going to take a generation to just achieve a balance government. Oh, deficits don't matter. Ah, who said that? Cheney, but he doesn't care, he has his billions. At least Paris understands, you don't pay the bills, they sell your things.

  • Posted By: StarRanger @ 08/13/2008 7:20:44 PM

Unfortunately, when she gets into trouble is when her team has gone for the day. Do we hear Cheney and hunting buddies? But as President, she would never be left a lone with security and aides to keep her straight. Of course all meetings would start after 10 AM but what a party the night before. America will have a their own Evita with her own bucks to spend. She has already has her own wardrobe, done the Rainbow tour and stylist in the ready for all occasions. Judge a person by their support team, they do the real work when they are knowledgeable. Her chief of staff would pick qualified people because in Hollywood, loyalty is only as good as the job done or there is the door and don't bother looking back. Your space is already filled.

  • Posted By: StarRanger @ 08/13/2008 6:22:22 PM

At least she would hire qualified press agents & aides than just loyalty oath camp followers without a hair brain of what to do. Do we hear Iraq, Katrina, energy, and the list goes on. Her lawyer got her out of prison within 48 hours, at least he work fast. Not 8 years to mess everything and leave to mess to the next person to clean up. You might not like her success & foolishness but money talks and companies keep hiring her at a very pretty income. It takes a team of people in the know to do it.

I think hackers have broken into newsweek's system! This article could not have come from an actual journalist, could it? HORRIBLE!

    • Posted By: C. MacLean @ 08/13/2008 1:22:36 PM

Lighten up, folks, this article was poking fun at the American tendency to take itself too seriously, as some of these posts clearly do. It's called sarcasm, and its supposed to be over-the-top.

Although, if you think about it, her energy plan is workable, with some fairly common sense suggestions, and really, can she be any worse than George Bush?

  • Posted By: melly7383 @ 08/13/2008 12:13:12 PM

If a single person over the age of six took this article seriously, or thinks that Paris would be anything but a joke as President, I have deep, insurmountable fears for the future of the human race...
