    If Paris declares, if elected President, she would pay her own salary & personal expenses as a gift to public service. Move education as absolute priority for America's future, then McCain & Obama have a chance to get the swing vote by following the same example. Education needs to be first because today's students are tomorrow's American future which is frightening with all the scholastic low scores and cut backs.

Check out the song by The Bruce of WIndsor Project and you will see why she might have a chance of winning the election against these two clowns presently running. Not to mention the clowns that were in the race including --The HilBillary Clinstones, the pure and honest John "Not Me" Edwards, and the rest. How about that congressman from Minnesota playing footsy in the airport mens room, or the good ole former Governor of New York - Spitzer the hookerman. How about the legendary Governor of NJ McCreavy..... Could Paris Hilton be any worse than these as forementioned losers.
    It is funny to see how concerned everyone is on this blog about Paris and this whole stupid mess that the genius McCain and his campaign planners devised for an ad against OBAMA the president of change.,.... THat change just might be from BAD TO WORST or WRIGHT to WRONG. America our forefathers are turning in their graves most likely crying tears of laughter looking at the bumbling idiots who have been trying to fill their shoes.

      Laugh a little. It lowers the blood pressure. I liike hearing about celebrities. Paris' video made me laugh too. She didn't do it to SERIOUSLY announce her bid for president. She did it as a joke. Nothing more. It was meant as humor. Are you one of those people planning to picket Tropic Thunder?

    Even entertaining the notion that Paris Hilton could be a reasonable candidate for office is absurd. I would love to see that dumb broad take a citizenship test and complete the prompt with anything but her name. In fact I would be surprised if she has two brain cells to rub together, and you want her leading our country? I understand that this spawned out of humor, but this is just ridiculous. I would rather not see the White House painted pink, thank you, the oval office stocked to the brim with trojans in preparation for a standard tuesday night for Miss Hilton. I can see it now: the walls would be lined with mirrors in order to keep Paris' short attention span focused solely on her own vacuous existence. Good idea. Can we please focus on the real issues? It seems that most Americans are far too distracted from the current election in order to take part in Paris' media folly, which only serves as a social satire that in fact ridicules the heiress herself. It only aids in distracting the public from the true intention of the Mccain ad; which was to cite Senator Obama as a generally unexperienced candidate, whose political renown shows little purpose. Electing a candidate for Presidency is a serious issue, no matter how you want to spin it, and if Paris is a front runner, I have little hope for our country. Furthermore, in what I can only assume to be her "reign" as President, if I am forced to listen to her talk about how hot she is once more, you all may be obligated the very puclic and very gruesome assasination of Miss Hilton that will be sure to follow. You are welcome in advance, America. Peace and Love, but not for Paris.

              I am truly sad if you have any daughters. I'm not going to even bother to argue with someone as closed minded as you are. The article is simply a satire. It made me laugh this morning and that's not too shabby of a way to start the day. Do you really believe that it would be a good use of tax dollars to spend the time to ratify the constitution in order to make the WORDING gender neutral?! I think there are bigger problems to worry about. By your logic are you taking this to mean that only WHITE MEN can run for president because at the time the constitution was written we didn't have the ammendment written that Black people can vote either. Is that what you mean. I'm just curious.

                What my statement means is that we are bound by the Constitution unless we admend the Constituiton. We cannot assume whatever we desire or do things different without it being admended. That is the way that our government was founded not my opinion! I feel that women are fully capable of fulfilling the responsibilities of the Presidential office and I feel that a "Black" person as you put it, is just as qualified as a white person. I don't see where the Constitution says anything about the man being "White" though?? This is where your opinions need to go out the door and look purely at the legal aspect of the argument. The Constitution is the Constitution and the information therin is binding unless legally admended.

                  Geez, this one may not have been the best either since it says "men". Maybe it was not mean to include both genders. From a LEGAL perspective, many of the laws written use the word HE. Does that mean that women do not need to follow those laws? This is a circular arguement and I am never going to get you to see the point. I'm sorry that you feel that women should not be ALLOWED to run for office unless we ammend the Constitution in order to make the language gender neutral. Amendments 5 & 6 also use gender specifc wording. By your arguement does this mean that those pieces of the constitution do not apply to women? We better get moving to ratify the constitution!

                      I am amazed. Truly amazed. You have really given me a great insight today. I have argued for years that sexism has died for the most part in America. You have lead me to the light that it is ALIVE AND WELL. Thank you for showing me! How could I have been so terribly mis-informed. I should get off the computer, stop reading this "male political" stuff and quietly knit and raise my children making sure dinner is on the table for my husband. You are right I have seen the light! If you refer back to my comment from 1045 today you will see that I stated that women are just as qualified.......it's the Constitution that needs to be changed. I understand though...you are blinded by opinion. Women's liberality sometimes have the same effect as the sexism you refer to. Logical thinking sometimes resolves conflicts as opposed to reactive irrationalism.

    celebrities are people... not objects... The Bible says, " whatsoever you do unto the least of these, my bretheren, you have done it unto me." I want Paris to know, if she reads this, that the King of the Universe loves her, and has prepared a place for her, and I pray that when Jesus comes back to take us home, that we all will be ready, and say, "Lo, this is our God, we have waited for Him, and He will save us." Who cares about the petty things that go on in this Earth. We have so much more to look forward to. To be honest, I feel that it was a wrong act to discredit Paris, Britney, or anyone, to uplift yourself, John McCain, but that is between you and God. And when I watched the video that Paris did, I felt it was very creative and funny... but don't we have so much more to talk about and think about for our future? This world is going away folks, let's not store our treasures here, lets store them in Heaven, so they will be there when we get there!

Enjoy the laugh while Washington cronies spend our money for Alaska's bridge to nowhere, Mississippi steals the bio-defense contract over more qualifying states and other pork barrel spending. If Paris is elected, she my pay for all her expenses as a gift to the people.     Entertainers are real people.,.. they matter as much as you and I. My prayers are with Paris as much as they are with the "other" candidates. Our real goal is to all meet in the Kingdom, right? What we do for a living on this Earth matters, but what matters more is what the Bible says "whatsoever you do unto the least of these, my bretheren, you have done it unto me". This is Jesus talking...; Let's all be nice to each other, and maybe we can get our priorities straight. Paris, if you read this, I want you to know that you are loved by the King of the Universe. My prayer is to see you in Heaven when He comes back to take us home with Him where we all will be living in mansions that He has prepared for those who love Him. God bless and keep you.

    Frist of all, can somebody tell me why this woman gets so much press coverage? She has done nothing and I mean NOTHING except act like she is the second coming of Pamela Anderson? Why don't we focus on real issues like why we're still in Iraq? Why are human lives at stake every day for no apparent reason? The answer is not in the mind of our prospective President or even the current one. We have the answers but can we just use our brains and stop watching so much TV for a second? Paris Hilton for President? I don't care if it's a joke. It's utterly stupid because we refuse to wake up to the fact that we are running out of ideas in our media. Can somebody there use their heads and come up with a better story worth reading about? This is ridiculous. It's not enough that our basic rights are null and void (habeas corpus).       McCain is a career politician who received money from the Hiltons then bit the hand that fed him. Mom and dad want their money back and Paris has just taken votes away from McCain AND Obama. She is smarter than ya'll think. remember what Nader and Perot did? And think about all the people who "write in" Mickey mouse" because they do not like the choices on the ballot. this year it will be Paris as a write in. This is why we are given it so much attention.
