Another waste of time and space. If the writer has nothing of value to contribute then simply write nothing and find a useful occupation.

What is totally crazy is that some many people on this blog are getting upset as if this just might happen. Take a breather.... snap out if it. By the way McCain's brainless ad brought this whole this on. So lets think about that.... Think about the cast of contenders we have watch ply their talents for lying, adultery, scams and you name to get a shot at being the top dog in the USA.
It is pretty scary thinking that things may get worse before they get better..... OMG PAris Hilton for President.

Go ... for it! Listen to her campaign song "A Real Paris Hilton" by The Bruce of WIndsor Project

    www.reverbnation.com/thebruceofwindsorproject

Listen to some and chill out.... Just a tip she's not really running.... :)

This country seems to be going to the toilet. Why bother typing this article?

  • Posted By: MildBill @ 08/12/2008 11:37:17 AM

Just another in a long line of Presidents that sucked.

  • Posted By: theoriginalmissz @ 08/12/2008 11:35:54 AM

Please are you a serious journalist? Extending Paris' 15 minutes of fame for selling her sex tape is not newsworthy. If it wasn't for the advertisement. the so called TV journalism shows gave this website the "buzz" alert, then it would be lost in the internt except for the desperate who need to get their fix of HiltySlutton and every move she makes. Please do your part and let the infamous die in peace.

Honestly, because of all of this campaign nonsense, I have gained a lot more respect for Paris Hilton. I saw her video yesterday and I thought it was absolutely hilarious. The fact that Mr. McCain would sink low enough to make a personal attack on someone he doesn't know personally definitely warrants a rebuttal like hers, and I think she did so quite tastefully. I don't think she has any place in the White House, but then, not many do... How much worse can it get?

    • Posted By: B.Smith @ 08/12/2008 10:38:55 AM

Are you aware the Hiltons donated to McCain's campaign. It is possible he does indeed know her personally.

      • Posted By: avi102 @ 08/12/2008 11:35:07 AM

actually McCain doesn't know the Hilton family personally, yet
they donated a large sum of money
thats why Kathy Hilton was appalled at the fact that he used
her daughter as a scapegoat in his promotional advertisments.

      • Posted By: Mister Missed Her @ 08/12/2008 10:48:36 AM

No. I wasn't aware. Thank you for informing me. I don't really follow politics much because I honestly don't care to live in this country.

    • Posted By: Smarter Person @ 08/12/2008 10:42:18 AM

Right on!! I thought her video was hilarious also. It was very clever! The two guys who thought it up are very funny and talented! This country is in such trouble economically, infrastructure-wise, debt-wise, lack of healthcare for everyone, and the situation just keeps getting worse. We have so many men and women getting killed in Iraq and Afghanistan that we do not have enough National Guard in this country to respond to crises/disasters. This video was very clever...this country is in such big trouble that I do not think anyone can get us out of it....so let's have some fun with the Paris video. Why not?

I love it when Americans become so patriotic when it is convenient. The falling of towers, the wars that our families are fighting or have fought in. Being American does not mean only on the 4th of July, Memorial Day (for the day off), or Veterans Day. Paris Hilton is a walking, talking plastic shell and is posting campaigns in light of the Presidency. AND POEPLE THINK IT'S FUNNY? No wonder other countries think Americans are trashy. Am I one of the Proud; One of the Few? A true American with a logical mind who actually gives our government the respect it deserves? Does anyone realize that we don't have to live with situations like terrorism on a high scale because our GOVERNMENT TAKES CARE OF US AND WON'T ALLOW IT? HAVE WE ACTUALLY HAD TO FIGHT ON AMERICAN SOIL? Have some respect for yourselves, your country and quit whining about the government assistance checks that you receive and ditch the trashy attitudes people.

YOU CANT BE SERIOUS! Respect!?...look at the mess these people are making of the USA. Bush, McCain, Clinton, too many to mention. We are the country we are today because of actions taken in the past. We are the joke we are today because of the antics taking place now! I respect myself and my country. By the time Obama or McCain takes office I'm not sure there will be much left to respect, they are both a joke!

    • Posted By: eagles1776 @ 08/12/2008 11:10:56 AM

I have always been taught to get respect one must give respect. i don't believe the Administration of George W. Bush has any respect for anyone or anything other than eheir own selfish interests (oil).

  • Posted By: chdench7 @ 08/12/2008 11:31:56 AM

You should be shipped to the gulag for even thinking this would be a worthwhile piece of writing...this is not even comedic, but a pitiful reflection of the disgraceful trash with which Americans concern themselves.

  • Posted By: FMRM3 @ 08/12/2008 11:29:49 AM

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN US?A WORTHLESS STUPID THING LIKE THIS STARTS FROM HERE AND NEXT THING YOU KNOW SHE IS RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT OF US.SAME WAY THAT ARNOLD BECAME GOVERNOR!SOME PEOPLE JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THIS MIGHT BE A JOKE,THEY TAKE IT SERIOUS AND ... WE WILL EXPERIENCE SOME THING LIKE WHAT WE'RE EXPERIENCING NOW !

  • Posted By: Captain Crackerjack @ 08/12/2008 11:10:26 AM

PARIS HILTON for President.... Just might be what the USA needs at this point in time. A reality show starlet to bring some reality to what has been a pretty pathetic Presidential Campaign season. Which has unveiled an Oscar winning performance in the ease of lying by Hilary Clinton, the marital cheating by John Edwards, the Reverand Wright exposing the Judgement Candidate and the which way should I go George candidtate with bring on the pain McCain. After George Bush and the mess he is leaving in his wake. How bad could Paris Hilton be. If she runs the country like the Hilton's run their hotel and resort empire we may all be surprised.

The Bruce of WIndsor Project --- Has her theme song set and ready to go "A Real Paris Hilton" for President... OMG .... What next. To hear the song check out the page at:

www.reverbnation.com/thebruceofwindsorproject -- it just might be the song that bring her campaign into the spot light....... Imagine!

    • Posted By: MsSheLLnLB2 @ 08/12/2008 11:26:23 AM

High Five to you ! I agree 100% what a joke these stooges are making out of the USA. Paris could ot make it worse!

  • Posted By: obamawins @ 08/12/2008 11:07:27 AM

Hey Blah-ger, I guess only when McCain, that wrinkly old white haired guy, tries to make a joke about the next President, Barack Obama, is it okay to try and be funny. Other countries may think America is trashy, but that's because Bush, Cheney and McCain all have their heads where the sun never shines. The only people who miss the point about what is happening this campaign year are the sour and cynical radical right types like yourself. McCain is going to lose by a surprisingly large margin and you just can stand the inevitability of that. Enjoy your rants while you can. After President Obama takes office, your hating of other Americans is going to fall on deaf ears.

    • Posted By: Blah-ger @ 08/12/2008 11:21:45 AM

I guess I would have to agree with you. That if Oabma wins my rants will go on deaf American ears because......OBAMA IS NOT AMERICAN!!!!!! go cash your check and drink your beer

      What?

  • Posted By: MookieMo @ 08/12/2008 11:21:17 AM

Ha Ha this is funny!! I think the article should be 7 reasons Paris Hilton should not be president. Actually I think there are more than 7 reasons. 1st reason: She does not do anything that deserves any public attention. 2nd Paris Hilton acts like a spoiled brat oh wait she is a spoiled brat!! 3rd. She acts so stupid that her grandfather publicly decided to write her out of his will and donate all his money to charity!! ffffddfgrgjglkjgjklgjklgjkldgrandfather di

try turning off your TV and going for a walk ,you r health is more important than what Paris is saying. Obama , McCain quit with the he said she said and man and stick with trying to be real men, give it a try because word on the street is the choices are not so great from what we are seeing .

  • Posted By: Katty101 @ 08/12/2008 10:43:23 AM

This has to be one of the stupidest things ive ever wasted my time reading!! Paris Hilton would NEVER be chosen for the White House. People in America are not stupid enough to vote for her!! She could never lead America.

    • Posted By: britstag @ 08/12/2008 11:19:03 AM

      That's why it's a joke, MORON!

    • Posted By: Pulpfiction @ 08/12/2008 10:45:39 AM

They voted for Bush/Cheney didn't they?

  • Posted By: Young Hickory @ 08/12/2008 10:27:00 AM

Jack 8472 is correct. The president has become a figurehead. There is a small cabal that runs the country that alternates between GOP and Dems but are not much different. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that Reagan was not in the initial stages of Alzheimers already during his second term. Reagan was not in charge. Senator Howard Baker had to step in and take control.

    • Posted By: weesee56 @ 08/12/2008 11:15:52 AM

OMG I thought I was the only one who felt and thougt this way about Reagan

Paris is not a dim wit. She is a very smart girl. I think the ad is right on. It made the point that the Mc Cain people should not throw stones at those outside the campaign. Paris dad made a $4,600 contributuion to Mc Cains campaign. Fine way to thank your supporters.

All you Repub dim wits just don't get it. She can give as good as she takes. Very funny and to the point.

I bet there are some big meetings in the Mc Cain campaign asking who was the idiot.

    • Posted By: Orpheus75 @ 08/12/2008 7:29:38 AM

oh yeah, she's shown how 'smart ' she is. 10:1 someone else wrote all of that for her. She may have come up with the idea of doing it, but there's too many syllables in one line for her to have come up with all of it.

But then again, people probably would vote for her. After all, she's a celebrity.

      • Posted By: greyone @ 08/12/2008 7:45:59 AM

Orpheus, I suppose you think McCain, Obama, or Clinton write their own speaches. Are you DREAMING!

They are lucky if they can read them.

        • Posted By: Orpheus75 @ 08/12/2008 11:06:06 AM

no... never said they did. I was only replying to a poster stating how smart she is. Not comparing her to Bush or anyone. But you also obviously suffer from Bush derangement syndrome anyway and felt the need to throw that in.
How about Obama??? get seroius. Ever here him talk without his notes and teleprompters??

          • Posted By: Orpheus75 @ 08/12/2008 11:15:45 AM

my apologies greyone. you were talking about obama, clinton and mccain. I jumped the gun there. :(

  • Posted By: Andy_Capp57 @ 08/12/2008 11:04:51 AM

Why not, I mean with all the B.S that is coming out of the mouths of the other two, especially Obama
"jo mama" She makes more sense than the other media darling. The government is just a joke, Barack changes his mind with his outfit. Do you really believe he is going to change anything except his mind?
The amazing part all this is that the people actually believe him. give me a break "he's a politician".
It doesn't matter what color he is, he is still a politician. Back in the '60's we had Pat Paulsen who would run for president. I think we need someone to show the politicians how ridiculous this whole process has become. I would put a Paris for president sticker on my car's bumper. See you at the poles "***"

    • Posted By: ConserveNow @ 08/12/2008 11:06:52 AM

Which one, the north on or the south on?

      • Posted By: Blah-ger @ 08/12/2008 11:13:01 AM

I think he means the "poles". Like the ones you throw tips ($$) to.

  • Posted By: Brelaxed @ 08/12/2008 10:50:01 AM

First of all, I cannot believe we are taking up space on the web again to talk about Paris Hilton. Good god, what a waste of space and time. Can we get a bit serious here? I mean if you look at the average education of these people in Hollywood and then the average education of the officials we have all elected in our government, there is no comparison. Bottom line, Paris is famous due to her wealth as an Hilton, if you think for one second she got to where she is on her own or without having the Hilton name, your as much of idiot as she is. Can we please focus on the real issues at hand? Now I do agree the video was funny and she took at this more of a tongue and cheek and I applaud her for that, but this article even though should be taken as grain of salt, its still a waste of our time and energy...find something worth while writing about for a change. Perhaps some real journalism?

    • Posted By: eagles1776 @ 08/12/2008 11:12:31 AM

Lighten up. It is all in good fun. Besides today seems kind of slow in the political news so this serves for conversation for now.

  • Posted By: i'mhot2 @ 08/12/2008 11:10:39 AM

Ms. Hilton's spoof of the political campaign is absolutely brilliant. And the fact that some people are actually angry about it is hilarious! You go,girl! Maybe I will have consider writing her in when I vote this fall, after all,she is HOT!
