"Rielle" aka Lisa Druck clearly is a fraud. She's an opportunist gold digger who charades as a "New Age Spiritualist" all while she engages in selfish and destructive behavior, wreaking havoc and pain on those who are unfortunate to cross her path. How "spiritual" of her.

It appears "Rielle" snorted too much coke during her days as a "New York Party Girl."

Apparently you learned nothing from those teachings you quote or spirtuality. Cheating IS a form of violence. Emotional and spiritual violence. Clearly neither Edwards or Hunter listened to what Hunter was preaching or they wouldn't have been involved in the affair.

Carter may have had flaws, but he certainly was a better president than any we have had since.

More and more that has come out seems to confirm the affair was still going on the summer of 2007, so either Elizabeth is lying, remained in the dark, or is enabling the affair. The baby would have been conceived in May 07. Very likely the kid is his.

Hunter sounds very tragic. Like emotionally scared and messed up and vulnerable. She doesn't sound like she has boundaries either. Makes me respect Edwards even less.

I don't see Elizabeth innocent in this cover-up either. If she knew in 2006 why was Hunter still on the payroll in 2007 and seen next to Edwards on their private campaign plane in Dec 2006 (HuffPo photo)? Elizabeth is hiding something too.

I thoroughly enjoyed this article. It seemed to me to be a well written piece showing the human side of a person being caricatured in the press. She believes in things I consider to be myths, but so what.

With this article, Jonathan Darman has written the most human aspect of the Edwards debacle. A sad piece. Seems that Ms. Hunter was caught in a spider's web.... Darman portrays her as human, not a monster, not a snake, just human. Apparently, the only one half honest in a cast of ambitious, manipulative characters, including both John Edwards and Elizabeth. Yes. I said it, even Elizabeth Edwards.

She may be a bit "crazy" but it takes one to know one.

I predict if she's patient she'll end up with Edwards in a happy blended family.

Gee, I wonder why Elizabeth wouldn't "look her in the eye!' Elizabeth Edwards is a classy lady.

Why is it that seemingly well off men who have it all going for them climb in bed with such crazy women.
I hope Edwards cheating and lying end his political career. I feel sorry only for his wife and family.
