Iam very sad for Edwards too no matter how hard life is you have to looked for the rigth advice not someone to jumps your bones. Affairs ruined families for ever and beliefs me is not worth it. A man is the one that say no, Iam married the rest are macho man , how sad you had a wife that was there for you and just because she is sick you sacked with some else. How stupid that is.

We have too many problems, gas, oil and wars. I think John Edwards made a mistake. Just like we all make mistakes. I say the things he does are between him and God and other people should not judge him.
God says, he who is without sin, cast the first stone. I don't think any one would open their mouth.

However old John Edwards' soul may be he is an immature a*s*s to cheat on his wife, who is currently fighting breast cancer. Seems he just had to get into the Newt Gingrich club of self-serving jerks who abandon their long-suffering spouses in time of need. As for the so called "spiritual advisor," I would run the mile from advice given by a person who is so eager to get into a guy's pants that she speaks ill of said long-suffering wife. What a bunch of self-serving jerks! Mrs. Edwards is better off without the jerk although, sadly, she'll probably stand by him, figuring she can't do any better. Being alone would be better than being with that plastic narcissist.

Jonathan Darman should have picked up on this story two years ago rather than be scooped by the National Enquirer. The bias at Newsweek and other mainstream media will eventualy be there undoing. Darman and others like him must stop bias reporting in favor of their candidates. What has happened to honest Journalism?

With the American economy in the state it's in, a war raging in eastern Europe, and the election that will shape the future of this nation I really could care less who Senator Edwards is knocking boots with. Shame on America for focusing on such a trivial subject when people around the world are dying from war and starvation.
Let's get our head in the game America. We're colliding politics with celeb style scandal to feed our ever increasing need for drama.
I for one will not victimize this man. Fore behind his deed lies a man who stood-up when others sat down. Who spoke out when others where silent.
Let us not forget that one of the greatest Presidents in American History is guilty of the same deed (Theodore Roosevelt) yet he led our country to new heights of prosperity.
Bottom line no one is perfect and do not assume that you are. I would like to see the dirty little skeletons that would emerge if you had thousands of scandal hungry journalist digging in you personal business.

Wow, I can't believe I wasted a whole ten minutes reading your absolute crap story about some adultress who sent you flowers. Aren't journalists supposed to go after their first instinct and hunt down stories. I am sure that if Edwards was a Republican his affair would have been front page news years ago...like it should have been. Edwards affair shows he is untrustworthy and a bad husband. As far as the media goes Edwards affair shows the media is biased and willing to cover up (or turn a head) to democratic politicians having affairs.

So where is the story here? Is it the idea that for the longest time while all of this "story-hunting" was going on, this crazy bimbo offered you an angle that no one else had on the Edwards Campaign? You mean to tell us that a well-trained journalist like you was simply hypnotized by a nut who just says that she is imbued with all that New Aged Spiritualism? Are you trying to tell us that not once while interacting with this clingy piece of IGM (Inferior Genetic Material) that you could not sense that something deeper was wrong with her and that it might be better for John Edwards for you to act in the best interest of all men and women and ask him what was really going on? Or perhaps, like all you journalists who think God will give you a pass for every time you stood by in order to watch a building burn down or a completely desperate human being as they step off the roof or the precipice of a bridge? Listen pal...You had a chance to walk right up to the man while on the plane and ask, "John...WTF are you doing?" and perhaps try to dissuade him and call upon what another candidate for president once called '...the better Angels of our nature..." No...of course not...you would rather write a retrospective about 'personally knowing and even drinking wine with' this female train wreck in the making. Shame on you, buddy. Who knows...if you were a real man...with real values of your own...you might have even made a difference in so many lives. But, no...because then, if you had one scrap of decency and understanding inside of you as a man and acted properly, you would miss out on your big chance to write about it. And as for John Edwards letting the Little Head doing the thinking for the Big Head... there but for the grace of God...go YOU. What you fail to understand from your own writing is that you reveal your own sick interest in this lunatic bitch. Meanwhile...Edwards and all the other men who swim in the shark infested waters of politics suffer that they must aggregate their fecal material and keep it all wrapped way too tight to even vaguely remain human while under the ever-watchful eyes of hypocrites and "Christians". Well i guess u wont be supporting Newt Gingrich, who served his wife divorce papers while she was in the hospital so he could 'upgrade" or John McCain, who dumped his wife after she got in a bad car accident, so he could legally "upgrade' to Cindy. My point is, in a roundabout way perhaps for all you moralists out there, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. i believe Americans are getting fed up with all you self-righteous blowhards out there who lecture us all about family values, and then next we hear how they bilk their parishioners or diddle choirboys. That said, i think Edwards sucks for doing what he did to his family. And did he consider that the GOP would wait until October to nail him if he had actually won the Democratic nomination?

I am absolutely SHOCKED at how many people act as if this were no big deal, or none of the American public's business. This man, whose wife is battling cancer, who constantly talked about how he was the "family values" candidate for the President of the United States. If he wants to cheat on his wife and to put his children through this, well that is his choice, BUT....he does NOT have the right to expect me or anyone else to just say..."that's OK Johnny boy. your piss poor judgement on such things PROBABLY doesn' reflect what choices you will make as leader of the free world", well that's just not the way it should roll. Why didn't you investigate WMD's, Blackwater, Alberto Gonzales, our dead soldiers, our wonded soldiers, the treatment and conditions soldiers endure. Why didn't you investigate the 2000 Presidential election, the 2004 Presidential election, habeas corpus, unconstitutional wiretapping and Halliburton. Someone should investigate your personal life and publish a story about it. Our country is suffering and you write about an affair America doesn't need to know about and you show absolutely no compassion for Mrs. Edwards, her health and her children. I have just made fervent prayer...this from a skeptical, living analog to an imaginary Fox Mulder (I Want To Believe) ...A prayer asking that God provides a very special place in the Darkest Corner of Hell where all the so called 'Religious Right" and those onstensibly "Christian" ...all of whom while living always manage to vector more bile and vinegar while pointing fingers at "Sinners" among their own, fallible fellow men and women... than the milk and honey of forgiveness and human kindness toward those in the greatest need. These are the same people who conjure up all manner of Kabalistic mumbo-jumbo about the "sanctity of human life" now to include anything bloody or blotchy expelled from the female body, naturally or otherwise ...as having a soul...and yet...to the last of them.. these people would gladly heap the bodies of every teenage drop-out, poor relations and all minoriities in America upon the Bonfires of Death in Iraq (NEXT... INTO IRAN) to serve a War of Choice foisted upon us by the votes of frightend fools and run from on high by the fools they empowered...without so much as the blink of an eye...They...all of them...reek of the deaths of over four thousand and counting brave young men and women...all who have perished over nothing more than the guaranteed income that the black poison of oil provides to a handfull of middle eastern in-breds ..and Exxon-Mobil...and Halliburton and Blackwater...and lest we forget...the MIC (Military Industrial Complex) that Dwight David Eisenhauer warned as about so long ago. The more I read about this story, the more I wonder who is the victim? Obviously, Elizabeth Edwards has been injured and the Edwards' children will feel the ripples left by the scandal, but is Riell Hunter really the victim? It sounds a little like high school. She saw him, wanted him for herself, and set about getting him. Maybe he really was the deer in the headlights.

Well, it's obvious fro this article that Reille Hunter is a REAL HUNTER, a predator who went full scale in pursuit of her prey. Hell, she even disliked the wife. Just think how miserable of a person REAL HUNTER must be, he went a man whose wife was diagnosed with cancer. REAL HUNTER is a pathetic person and I pity her. She probably leaked the story to the press just so Johnny would go running to her. I would even bet she did sleep with the Aide or anyone else. just to get pregant. She does not need a paternity test because John Edwards is not the father, he knows it and so does his slut.
