I don't reply or actually participate in any of this non sense BUT the bottom line is cheating is cheating and the fact that il's all so media oriented is discusting!!! The fact that the woman knew that he was married??? that just sounds like publicity to me and the fact that he denies it? it's just the american way! Bottom line cheats, extra marital affairsa etc have always exsisted the difference is that every where in the world everyone has owned up to it except for us perfect americans. Some idiot mentioned if BUSH would of had a mistress obviously no one would even approach such and idiot!!!

Looks like we dodged another bullet. Can you imagine if Edwards was the nominee and this came out? How did he possibly think he could get away with this considering all the scrutinany politicians are under concerning their sex lives. Maybe he thought he could get away with it because....hes gotten away with it before. As old fashioned a comment as this may be, I still believe that a candidate that will lie and cheat on his wife will lie and cheat in his political responsibilities. His focus is on self satisfaction, not on his family or country.

The mainstream media, from the news organizations to the entertainment tabloids and witless TV magazine shows, all are pathetic and continually perform disservice to this country. In this instance, it is nobody's business what John Edwards does in his bedroom or who he does it with. That's between him and his wife, family, its personal. I do not care who he sleeps with. I still believe he is better qualified than Obama for President. Many many of our greatest leaders, starting with George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, had their affairs... All that matters is how they do their job, not who they are sleeping with.

The only ones who can sleep around are single people, the smart category. We can do it like cats do. Nobody says anything. When Rielle combs her hair she's kind of cute though. John has a brunette at home. He wanted a dizzy blonde. She might have hypnotised him. But why did he go public with his trash since she is not looking for a paternity test?

Please lets not bring Obama into this. We were all deceived by Edwards denial of an affair. That's not to say that I believe that he is less than brilliant in his profession. This just means that he has shown us all that he is human. Bill Clinton had an affair, but look at what he did for the country. These acts are immorale and I will not try to justify them, but we have to move forward and get back the campaign to elect Barack Obama. Maybe if Bush would have an affair we would we be in a better situation.

Come to think of it, maybe we ought to be grateful that the little whore showed John Edwards up for what he really is. I just feel really badly for Elizabeth. What kind of thing is this to pull on someone who is going through all the suffering she is right now. Like, she really needed this!

Have you ever noticed, or is it just me...that all those that engage in unbelievable affairs of the heart, with either men or women...are men? And now we find that the squeaky-clean John Edwards is the latest in them montage of figures who for whatever reason it is, find it in themselves to dishonor their spouse, their friends and most importantly, themselves. How sad...

With all that is going on in the world, why are we so fascinated by this story? John Edwards is a human being; a man with thoughts and feelings and failings. So what! This affair with Rielle Hunter is over and it's really none of our business!
