Sheeeesh. Go figure. I have to say that I thought Edwards was different--devoted father, loving and supportive husband, and concerned politician (is that an oxymoron?). Instead, another one bites the dust of good, moral character. Whether anyone likes it or not, poor decisions in private life spills over into public life. I was planning on writing in his name on the ballot. Now, I'll leave it blank and hope in four years someone will run who gives more than lip service. So far, that's all I've heard from all the candidates. Edwards can now be an offical member of the Bill Clinton Can't Keep It In My Pants Club.

I think that this lady is psychotic and needs to be evaluated and probably have a restraining order put on her. Also what kind of man has an affair with a crackpot like this? Someone that we want as a presidential candidate or running mate? That is what you get with Democrats I guess....

Who in the heck cares about John Edwards or his mistress...You should find a informative subject to report on

    • Posted By: Lady Lucille @ 08/12/2008 10:12:21 PM

Don't you get it, he thought that Hunter was informative, in the sack of course and he wanted all of us to know about his encounter with her. Good grief, he is as bad as Edwards, egotisical dic-head!

Based on your article I guess you can't trust anyone and be careful in thinking someone is your friend just because they share a few glasses of wine with you.
You should have gave her some advise and warned her about Bill Clinton and Monica 's past affair and maybe we would not be judging John Edwards or Rielle....

His sex life is his business, but character in the oval office is everyone's business. If he can't make a commitment to someone as close to him as his wife & children how much less the free world. He's a moron.

    Low-lifes attract low-lifes.

This low-life happens to be a trial lawyer.

May he sink to the depths where whale *** cannot sink.

SHE MADE HIM MAKE HISTORY ALRIGHT!, WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF BILL CLINTON!!..LMAO!~

  • Posted By: bellbuzz @ 08/12/2008 10:05:08 PM

    Who cares ????????????????????

Does NO ONE understand the culture of the south...or of a gentleman? It has only been since the curse of Jerry Springer culture that admission of having an affair was the ticket to your 30 minutes of fame. In a sophisticated society there are still things you deny, because it's nobody's business. A gentleman would do it not only to save face for his family, but to protect the honor of the woman involved. Too bad the women want to make their peace not with God, but with the biggest book or film deal.

    • Posted By: Lady Lucille @ 08/12/2008 10:03:45 PM

Since when is it considered "honor" to protect a woman through denial, that commits adultery.

I call that being a liar.

I STILL love John Edwards, I believe in him as a leader of this country, more so as Sen Obama's running mate, because I know he'd be perfect for the job. Secondly, why do people seem to forget that John Edwards is HUMAN, he's vunerable to the very same mistakes WE all are, yet, he's being flambasted by the press over his human mistake?? It never seems to amaze me how some people like to pretend that they are so very pristine, so perfect, so honerable, when they are anything BUT that. John Edwards is a man, he is human, he made an error in judgement as we ALL are guilty of.

And as the Bible says, "ALL HAVED SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD!" So let's not join the press in their efforts to bring shame to this man. I'd be willing to bet if we looked in their lives, we'd find things far worse than an affair........

Lexuslovr - Is this person for real? Or is this person really the Homewrecker Hunter trying to justify your actions? I think the bible also sez "don't commit adultery" how did you miss that page?

  • Posted By: jimheli @ 08/12/2008 9:58:58 PM

Who cares about his sex life - let's focus on policy.

  • Posted By: JPogue @ 08/12/2008 9:58:12 PM

What kind of women sleep with married men? Especially those with wives suffering of cancer?? Yes John Edwards is everything you say he is below BUT I have no words sick enough to call Rielle Hunter...
And yes the article was lame.

What a disappointmen you are John ! I live in your hometown, where we welcomed you as a hero- I even had my picture made with you and my grandchildren, will be tearing that pic up! I feel so for Elizabeth, their children and his parents, we were all duped by him- think I will give up on politcs and all it involves!

  • Posted By: Heywood123456 @ 08/12/2008 9:10:19 PM

who cares about Edwards, he is a low life cheater , who cheated on his wife yes...but did it while she was suffering from a life ending illness...CANCER !!! he is a total tool , worse than Bill Clinton to be honest...but cut from the same mold...and to think Obama was dumb enough to think about Edwards as his VP , but thena gain...Obama has no real judgement , I mean he was mentored by a racist hate monger for 20 years...what do you expect.

    • Posted By: kelzo725 @ 08/12/2008 9:55:50 PM

Hey Heywood123456, let's stick to the topic-John Edwards and his infidelity. Throwing off on Obama and the "way past dead issue of Rev. Right" has nothing to do with the topic at hand. You're mixing apples with oranges and not doing a very good job of it.

  • Posted By: Lady Lucille @ 08/12/2008 9:55:38 PM

No offense to the good men..........but that is why they coined the term "dic-head" men who think with their penis instead of logic and reason........gets them into trouble every time, BIG TIME TROUBLE!

  • Posted By: citygirlie12 @ 08/12/2008 9:54:51 PM

The main message is... if this man cannot stay faithful to a vow taken under GOD then how could we, as a country, trust him to take a vow to protect and serve and do right under GOD? Impossible, without integrity one's word means nothing. There ARE honorable people out there who do honor their commitments. Edwards doesn't.... obviously he is no longer going to be favored by the majority of the US and won't get far. So lay off Edwards is it really worth anyones time?

  • Posted By: nanasgwen @ 08/12/2008 9:52:29 PM

My concern is why is the media alway's to busy to airout everyone else's laundry day after day when there is a heck of alot of other's important issue's in our world, like all the missing children.Granted there are some very good new's media out there who never seem to forget our children,thank-god.Instead most of them are to busy with all the mistress's affair's.Yes we all heard it once now get on with life as it was intended

  • Posted By: keoweesc @ 08/12/2008 9:51:57 PM

I feel so duped by John Edwards, live in his home town, where he was welcomed back as a hero, had my picture made with him and my grandchildren- will be tearing that picture up! I feel so sorry for Elizabeth, his children and parents, what a disappointment you have been John, think I will swear off politics!

  • Posted By: Lady Lucille @ 08/12/2008 9:51:03 PM

Did you think that the topic was gong to make it exciting? It was disappointing only because of the topic and the fact that the writer gave "credance" to Hunter as if she was some sort of powerful person over others.........sick is one sick puppy!
