    Well written Dr. Ornish. I think you are exactly right. Fear is an effective short-term motivator, but for long-term growth a person, or a country, needs to express compassion and generosity for others, not selfishness, which is simply another manifestation of fear.

    Why is Ornish continually featured in Newsweek? Why can`t there be a broader spectrum of opinion?
