To all of you idiots who believe that republicans are evil for keeping drugs illegal: You need to petition the government and request that drugs become legal; on the condition that you allow these wastes of human skin to live in YOUR homes with YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES. And when the drug user begins to steal from you and physically, emotionally, and sexually abuse your family members, I want to hear you laugh and talk about how funny drug users are.

That's only ONE reason why I think republicans are evil.

Geez, what kind of drug users are you taling about? Crackheads, meth addicts. heroin junkies, alcoholics? I've never known marijuana to do any of the things you just described, and we're talking about marijuana here. Hello?

So give me a reason why marijuana should be illegal. Don't even think about mentioning the words "gateway" or "children" because that's all bunk and you know it.

Cleveland isn't the only thing that sucks!

How about when they were driving the Volkswagon with the 30 Gallon open drum of gasoline in the back.

Yeah, Cheech and Chong have their funny moments. But Jesus, is drug abuse really THAT funny? And to all of the idiots out there who think that republicans are so evil for prosecuting drug dealers/addicts: Maybe you should petition the government to leagalize ALL drugs on the condition that you invite these drug addict criminals to live in YOUR house with YOUR family!

Cheech and Chong did a wedding album and the cover had them as Siamese Twins and both of the Brides with bags over their heads. In up in smoke Tommy actually smokes a real roach, a real *** roach!

A FRIEND WITH WEED IS A FRIEND INDEED!

My favorite Cheech & Chong scene was when Cheech went out on his porch to take a pee and he couldn't gopen the front door because the music Tommy was playing was so loud that it held the door shut. Might have been "Up In Smoke".

Glad they made up. They were great friends .

I think it's funny that some people consider pot to be like crack. Pot doesn't make you abuse or steal from people. I have no problem inviting a pot head over...it's the 'others' that make me nervous!

well, pot doesn't make you steal, or sexually assault people. That's crack, get your *** straight!

Long Live Cheech & Chong. I hope they give the Republicans a big cultural kick in the ass when they launch their comedy tour. It's like something out of stalinist Russia how the overzealous Federal prosector Mary Beth Buchanan overstepped jurisdiction when they went after Tommy and threatened his family as well. Sound familiar. Tommy took the rap to protect other members of his family and did hard jail time for selling bongs - what a complete waste of taxpayer dollars. I want a much different kind of America than this. Freedom isin't real unless you are truly free.

I want the movie "Up in Smoke" to be playing in the background on every screen in the background of the movie about my life story. Classic. Love em all.

How the hell did this thread get political?

(blows some suspicious smoke around the room until everyone calms down)

In other news, it's fun to see these guys doing a revue, so to speak. There's a scene from their movies that I'll never forget - Cheech wakes up, groggy, half hung-over, stumbles into the bathroom to take a pee, and as he's peeing, he looks around the bathroom...and sees his toilet.

He looks back in front of him...and sees his laundry basket.

    "Awwwww, man!!!!!!"

I laughed so hard the memory's still vivid to this day.

Growing up in the 70's I remember listening to Cheech and Chong. Their comedy albums were the funniest I had ever heard. Of course their humor drove my parents bonkers, which made their albums all the more funny listening to them as I did with the headphones on so my parents would not have to hear Blind Mellon, Dave, the Old Man, et al. which would have gotten the albums thrown out. That their back together proves that time heals all wounds and I wish them all the success in their new venture together. Break a leg guys!

Oh man, I just had an epiphany: Republicans are overbearing authoritarian jerks because they were the nerdy squares in High School who never got laid and were excluded from everything because they were such dorks, and, of course, never watched "Up In Smoke". I get it now.

Good comment on Ashcroft. You KNOW Bush smokes pot, maybe he should have smoked a little less before he started filling cabinet positions. Or maybe he was joking, you like "Hey man *cough*, let's put ASHCROFT in the attorney general's office *chuckle*", and Cheney, who was havinga freak-out moment (which is most of the time, given his history) was all like "Yeaahhhhh, let'd do it *hohoho* *cough*"

I see Cheney as more of a Meth guy though LMAO

People like Ashcroft can't smoke pot because they'd have to see themselves for what they are.

Long live Cheech & Chong. I hope they give the Republicans a big cultural kick in the ass when they start their comedy tour. It was like something out of Stalinist Russia the way the overzealous Federal prosecutor Mary Beth Buchanan, at the behest of former AG Ashcroft, overstepped her jurisdiction, went after Tommy and threatened his family. Have you heard any similar stories in this grand drug war of ours? Tommy took the rap to protect his family and did hard jail time for selling bongs - what a waste of taxpayer money. This is not the America I want. You do not know freedom unless you are truly free.
