A US satelite state has just whiped out 1600 Russian civilians with american funded weapons and the media is only concerned about the territorian integrity of Georgia? How many here lives in a country that has illegally recognized Kosovo as a state despite breaking international law??

Hey, I`m just using GOOGLE searsch engine and use first several (most popular) links - are you blaming me for this? Or you want me to write only here or there...? I hate liers so i can`t be silent! This is the only reason I write on several forums... I don`t have money for it (unfortunately) so if you or somebody else pay me - I don`t refuse :)) it doesn`t differ from my convictions :))
And by the way, I`m working for a financial company with GEORGIAN owner (in Moscow). And he doesn`t maintain official georgian president`s position as well...
So dont tell me about FSB (also I`m still aspirant in one of Moscow institution).
And also I have family in Caucasus and many friends in Ukraine... so dont blame me in something you don`t know at all...

You have forgotten that Georgia has attacked Ossetia, for the sake of the introduction into NATO. Its a pity that there was no international peacekeepers in Osetia at 08/08/08... so they would be killed by georgians and you screamed the opposite slogans.

Russia has agreed to both sides withdrawing their armies only because it has no intention of pulling its forces out. It sees an opportunity to make Georgia disarm unilaterally. Russia will claim that its army in Georgia is peacekeepers, policemen or voluntary militia of the South Ossetians and keep it in. The only way to ensure that both sides withdraw their armies is to send in an international peacekeeping force, no member of which is from Russia, Georgia or any group in Caucasus. That force should have the arms and authority to enforce withdrawal of armies.
Georgia was the lightning rod for Eastern Europe. Russia focused its economic, propagandistic and military bullying on Georgia, lightening the pressure on countries of Eastern Europe. In the 1990s Russian military planes were flying over the Baltic states and Russia was imposing trade sanctions on them. After the Rose Revolution in Georgia this activity shifted there. Now that the lightning rod is broken Eastern European countries should expect a lot more economic and military trouble from Russia.

You know Observer it's a sad fact but your right. In some ways it's good that we have people who can and do question what we are doing. We check and balance ourselves. It's why other countries hear so much negativity and then compare. "Well our country has only done X number of bad things and the US has done Y Number, there baaaad!" Unfortunately what they don't realize is you hear of just about everything we do where other countries suppress information. You can't make a fair comparison. Also what the liberals fail to realize is the only reason they get away with what they do is because they live in a country like the US. By running there mouth though and cutting the country down to the world they just open the door for more problems. Wow a lot of you are anti-american. I agree with you somewhat Jill, big business is scary and has a lot of power, but name me a time or country where there weren't rich and powerful people. That was the failure of communism, it just readjusted wealth and power to other people. As for BP, Russia was more then happy to havebig oil come in and explore and drill. Now Oil goes up and they want to take over while the times are good. Isn't that convenient. Glenno you need to check some of your facts, I've seen some of your posts, and you keep wanting to put in how the US put in a "Puppet Leader". The main activist who is in on this is George Soros. Who yes lives in the US since he's been 26. Look at his history, he was in Hungary during WWII and escaped Soviet Occupation when he was 17. Imagine that, the soviets take over his home country and the guy helps out the former Soviet Bloc countries. This isn't the US, this is a man who has a grudge, and probably a justified one at that. The Western World and the Council on Foreign Relations are using Georgia and Poland to expand their control for the one Globalization World, which they will rule. CFR has put in their puppet, Saakashvili in Georgia, and is attempting to replace their US puppet George W Bush with puppet Barack Obama.

Russia is being punished by the CFR and the Western World for their action last week to bar BP's CEO, Robert Dudley, from any corporate office in Russia for two years. (BP currently owns 50% of Russia's oil company TNK-BP.

The CFR controlled Western World would prefer to have a cold war with Russia than to be unable to control the world's wealth.

Those of us who are against the CFR controlling the world must look to Russia and China for our own sovereignty. Russia should give up trying to form any partnership with the West. They cant even be ethinic cleansed without still being "the bad guy". Putin had 70-80% support by the people and is still refered to as a dictator in the West! He should form alliances in Asia, Latin America and Middle East, after 70 years of anti-russian propaganda we still believe its the cold war.

The reason the French are doing the negotiations is because the United States have such an obvious interest in Georgia and the region in general. The French have not interfered in Georgia and Ukraines elections. The have not built up the Georgian army that commited war crimes against Russian citizens. The French are not defending the Georgian war crimes. The French has not sent "aid" to Georgia which has seized control over their ports, airports.
