So what else is news. Obama will continue to distort as long as the media continues to ignore. Next up..an attempt to convince all of us that he is pro-life!!! How stupid can we all be????

The underlying issue that has Obama supporters in an uproar any time Obama is caught acting like any other politician, as he is in this article, is the importance they place on their belief that he is above mere politics, the old politics, and is about bringing light to the darkness that has engulfed Washington DC.

To have to admit he isn't any different and his methods are no different is like saying God doesn't exist to them.

The truth is he is no different and he is using the politics, the old politics. He doesn't admit his tactics are old politics, not new politics, and that his basic idea of change isn't only change in parties in leadership not in how Washington DC politics operate, and that he will be just as beholden to lobbyists, maybe different ones, but lobbyists none the same, and a part of all the other sins that politicians in Washington DC are part of.

He will win and his fall from grace will be as shocking as it was for any other politician that puts themselves on a plain above the rest of the politicians. Like Edwards, like Bush, like Spitzer, like oh, so many of the other high and mighty, we simply await finding out that he, like other politicians, is a mere mortal and not so different from you and me.

And so, what else is news. We can expect to see a lot more of this as we move to November. I am also seeing a deliberate distortion of Obama's hideous pro-aobortion stance and trying to convince us all that he is pro-life. George Orwell would be laughing his head off...

MCCAIN: "And I led the investigation."

It was a scandal that rocked the country, linking all the way to the Bush White House and Republicans in Congress, sending two former Republican Congressmen to prison.

But, now, desperate to raise campaign cash to run more negative attack ads, John McCain is cozying up to Jack Abramoff's cronies.

Ralph Reed, a key business partner of Jack Abramoff helped the convicted former Republican lobbyist launder 2 million dollars through a front group to finance a gambling campaign.

Now, Ralph Reed has signed up to raise money for John McCain. Reed has even been appointed to McCain's Victory 2008 Team.

Ralph Reed's murky connections to Jack Abramoff run so deep, it cost him a race for Lt. Governor in Georgia.

While most people now see Ralph Reed as a tainted man raising tainted money, John McCain sees him as a source of campaign cash cow.

John McCain is a mere mirage of himself

i cannot believe my eyes! You are actually defending McCain? over Obama? Has hell frozen over?

Fair enough....now let's see your analysis of McCains ads about taxs, energy, etc. I hear enough pundits say some of McCains ads are blatent lies, leaving them out there in hopes over time enough people will believe them (since no media rebutal)...how about it, you up to telling all??

Wow! You are talking about Obama making misleading statements about McCain??? Where are you when McCain and his friends are telling outright lies about Barack and attaching him over things that are not even related to campaign issues? It is all about what each candidate supports and their decision making. If ads are about actual stances and votes then that is fair game. Republicans are good at throwing trash and whinning when it gets thrown back at them.

So now the shoe's on the other foot. After all of John McCain's lies about Obama he is going to get a taste of his own medicine! I'm betting he will scream "foul" louder than anyone. But, he found it okay to lie about Obama's plans about taxes?

The partisan whining always amuses me. Find me an honest politician today!. They are all governed by special interest groups lobbyists -- the key is which do you think will best represent your beliefs in the midst of the crap. That said, it does seem that the staunch democrats to seem to whine louder than most

Foreign companies have no concern over employee layoffs in US communities. In their homeland they cannot get away with that, they are help accountable. What part of "McCain and his Lobbyist friends promoting foreign ownership of US companies" don't you get?

why is it that no one gets upset when mccain spews his garbage about obama? reporters don't bother to dedicate full stories on mccain's ridiculous distortions. he constantly insults the intelligence of today's voters. his tactics prove that he is entrenched in the politics of days , thankfully, gone by. he has no vision for America, just stale, re-hashed politics as usual.
