A WONDEROUS VISION of THE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION```````~~I was There and here is what I saw, 10,000 Rebels with pitchforks in bib overalls , some with no teeth , some with one tooth and mostly yellow, Chanting GIT ER DONE , 10,000 Evangelicals led by Hagee, Robertson, Romney, Dobson, Haggert with their hands in the back pockets of the Hillbillies as they headed for the mens room, the Fixed News merchants of lies and hate all lathered up and foaming at the Mouth , as they cheered their Hero Hannity as he passed The Falafel to O'Liely, and the scariest sight imaginable was, Cyndi, McFudd, Lindsey Graham, Jo Lie berman, all hugging Dubya on stage, I'll never forget the terrifying sight. Cheney sang ,Lieber alles Deutchland.

Remember John McCain before he sold his soul to the devil for the 2008 Republican nomination? I still believe the pre-zombie McCain would have had the decency to repudiate Obama Nation and its author. Instead, according to CNN, all he has to say is "Gotta keep your sense of humor."
Every day, in every way, McCain is becoming more and more like Bush.

Jaded by the political corruption the state of Illinois is immersed in, one might be tempted to shrug off the Rezko trial today as simply another showpiece for U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald. After all, he's put away close to 150 corrupt Daley and Ryan administration workers and the Illinois public mumbles, but no shows no outrage.

One wonders if public sentiment would change (Yes, "CHANGE!") if it could be shown that Barack "CHANGE" Obama's strong opposition to the War in Iraq was based on financial ties to a Saddam Hussein arms dealer?

Obama buys a house in a land deal with Tony Rezko's wife, whose income at the time was $35k/year. In the days before the papers were signed, Rezko gets a loan from Auchi. Auchi and Rezko are pizza and real estate partners -- you know, little ol' harmless "Tony" Rezko, the small time Chicago operator.

Then mysteriously last month, Rezko goes to jail for breaking a bail agreement because he gets another $3.5 million loan from Auchi, the man who became the 279th richest man in the world partially by making arms deals with Saddam Hussein.

The problem I have with Obama???s 20 year attendance at Trinity United Church is that Rev. Wright, by his own admission, preaches black liberation theology, which is a very racist theology based upon the conflict between the "black oppressed" and the "white oppressor". That is why, for example, Rev. Wright portrays Jesus as black, and his murderers as ???garlic nosed??????white people,??? because that is the only way that the story of Jesus will fit with his theology. That is also why so many of his statements are framed as black and white issues (e.g. "rich white people"; Natalie Holloway was a "white girl" who "gave it up" on an Aruba beach; 9/11 was a wake-up call to ???white people???; the "garlic nosed" Italians in the time of Jesus who killed Jesus were "white people"). Consistently making the point that Jesus was black and his murderers were white is very much like the bigoted fundamentalist Christians who continually make the point that the "Jews killed Jesus." We all know what that is code for; that means that the Jews are evil, as a group, and responsible for the murder of Jesus. Rev. Wright, Obama???s 20 year ???mentor and spiritual adviser,??? is guilty of the same type of bigoted rhetoric.

Finally, what I object to most is the framing of the issues by black liberation theologists. There is simply no excuse for calling white people "the devil" or the "white enemy." Those who developed this theology could just have easily framed it as a struggle between, for example, the "oppressors" and the "oppressed," or the "ruling elite" against "the rest of us." But no, they had to make it a racial thing, instead. And that's why those who follow this belief system in accordance with the teachings of James Cone, as does Rev. Wright and Obama, are following a racist creed.

According to Barack Obama, Gianna Jessen shouldn't exist.
Miss Jessen is an exquisite example of what antiabortion advocates call a "survivor." Well into her third trimester of pregnancy, Gianna's biological mother was injected with a saline solution intended to induce a chemical abortion at a Los Angeles County abortion center. Eighteen hours later, and precious minutes before the abortionist's arrival, Gianna emerged. Premature and with severe injuries that resulted in cerebral palsy. But alive.
Had the abortionist been present at her birth, Gianna would have been killed, perhaps by suffocation. As it was, a startled nurse called an ambulance, and Gianna was rushed to a nearby hospital, where, weighing just two pounds, she was placed in an incubator, then, months later, in foster care.
Gianna survived then, and thrives now, because, as she told me recently with a laugh, "I guess I don't die easy." Which is what the abortionist might have thought as he signed his victim's birth certificate. Gianna's medical records state that she was "born during saline abortion."
As an Illinois state senator, Barack Obama twice opposed legislation to define as "persons" babies who survive late-term abortions. Babies like Gianna. Mr. Obama said in a speech on the Illinois Senate floor that he could not accept that babies wholly emerged from their mother's wombs are "persons," and thus deserving of equal protection under the Constitution's 14th Amendment.
A federal version on the same legislation passed the Senate unanimously and with the support of all but 15 members of the House. Gianna was present when President Bush signed the Born Alive Infants Protection Act in 2002.
When I asked Gianna to reflect on Mr. Obama's candidacy, she paused, then said, "I really hope the American people will have their eyes wide open and choose to be discerning. . . . He is extreme, extreme, extreme."

Obviously the author has not been paying attention to anything other that his precious Obama, because if he had, he would be aware that Obama, if he is smart, and elected, will be following policy that has emerged during the Bush Administration's last four years. Not changing it. Condy Rice should be running instead of Obama. Now there is a leader! I am sick and tired of people bashing Bush. He did what had to be done and when we get out of Iraq & Afganaistan I hope everyone remembers the ancient tribal wars that have plagued the Middle East and all of Europe for hundreds of years. It is impossible to sort out their issues that have been handed down generation after generation. We cannot solve their problems. Only They themselves and God can do that. We must rebuild our own country, now, before we become the "Third World" country. We must never again allow a recurrence of 9/11. I pray that whomever is elected President this year will possess the clarity of mind, and the temerity, to rise above all this partisan "stuff" and be the leader we must have in this changing world.
