I think everyone needs to step back and do their studying on the Constitution. Bush did not destroy this country, he does not have the power to do that....Bush, or any other president cannot do anything without Congress. Congress passes the laws, Bush only signs the law. If people really wnat change, change Congress, make your Senators and Representatives stand accountable, including McCain and Obama. Neither of these candidates will able to one single, solitary thing they have promised unless Congress allows it. The President is a face that lobbies Congress, the same thing we can do...Personally, I don't think either one of them are up for the job, I would have liked to see someone like Colin Powell run, but this is what we have. If we truly want to see some change happen, start with Congress, get rid of the electoral vote, speak up, get involved, and set an example.

I think EVERY politician in America - Federal, state, local, etc. - should be removed from office. Let's get back to the roots of this country and start interpreting the constiution as it was meant to be. Reduce government involvement as much as possible and start being honest with ourselves. If someone can't make $100K a year, then they can't. The government doesn't need to help. If someone can't work, then their family should take care of them. If your kids are not doing well in school, then maybe YOU need to be more involved. Sorry if that means you have to spend more money on tutors or special schooling. I am personally sick and tired of the right, left and everything in between trying to tell me how to live and what I NEED. Let me choose. Did anyone ask President Washington or President Lincoln for a stimulus check??? Not everyone is meant to be rich, a professional athlete, or a doctor. If you can't get affluent, then deal with it - maybe take it up a notch and work harder or spend less...

I fully believe that we are in trouble no matter which way we vote. whichever one wins is going to inherit a mess that the previous "resident" help to make.
