you know after reading these posts I am disgusted. Everyone has the right to their own opinion and the right to be passionate about a cause, but you people are ripping each other apart and name calling. In my opinion that is exactly what is wrong with this country. People have no respect for others.

I'm not sure how other's feel but I would rather the President have the experience and knowledge while the Vice has minimum not the other way around. At least McCain has fought in a war and paid his dues, I may not agree fully with everything he says but, to me, he is the lesser of the two evils, so to speak. I like Palin because her family is not perfect, no ones is. She seems real.

The Truth is, the american people is the problem. It would not matter who the president is/ was if the people would stick together and stand up for their rights. The people allow the the oil companies to make billions of prophit at our own expense. The voice of the people can move the world, people just won't stick together and voice it.

Mcain was tourtured for years. He's not mentally stabe enough to run this country, with his campaign aside. No person goes through that and doesn't hold a grudge. I fear the GOP actually found someone WORSE than bush... that must have taken some work. His Vp also made so in Alaska(which has the most rape in the country) so women had to PAY for rape kits to tell if they were raped, instead of giving them away like most states do.... Yeah, I'm ready for change. We just had 8 years of hitler... the last thing we need is another 4. Go Obama!

Far away from the Washington spotlight, he introduced, voted on and passed bills, debated with his colleagues???something that was missing in Washington, where everything is settled in the backroom???and arduously worked to satisfy his constituents. Most important of all, he learned that how to work across the aisle, and get stuff done.

if you think the republicans are not to blame for what are country is going thru, then you better go back and look at the facts. The only way we as a true American Country will get better is if we have a Democratic President, a Democratic House of Representatives, and a Demicratic Senante. once that happens then this truely fine Country of Ours we get put back together. yes it will be tough for any President, no matter which party he represents to get this Country we call the Good Ol USA back on track and out of the trouble that we are in, but do be fooled the problems with banks and Houseing has nothing to do with the President os the USA, it has to do with the Banks themselves and there own Presidents CEO's & CFO's, that is where the problem lies, with the banks that is!

McCain is another George Bush and we can't afford another 4 years of that....he dug such a deep hole, I don't think anyone can dig us out, but Obama seems more positive and he's so much more put together!
