Before you post a comment, please keep your spelling dictionary at your side. It would appear that you are still in elementary school from your crude attempt at writing.

It is a shame that we have IGNORANT people like you who would compare OBAMMA to Hitler just to try to scare other white folks into thinking like you. If someone as IGNORANT as you has a GUN we are all in great danger!!!!

Some wise words that is at the core of sound economic prosperity
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot help small men by tearing down big men.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich.
You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot establish security on borrowed money.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away man's initiative and independence.
You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.

I don't think Obama adheres to these principles, so the choice is simple. He wants to raise taxes to give to those that do not pay taxes. He wants to tax those who create jobs which will in turn reduce the number of jobs that will be created. Folks, businesses do NOT pay taxes. They pass them along to us all. They maintain a certain profit margin. If that margin is compromised they will either lay off employees reducing the tax base or they will raise prices on goods and services, making it harder for Americans to afford many items, thus hindering economic activity. If Obama raises taxes, we will not be in a recession, but a depression in two years. McCain in '08

If the war keeps going, we will be in a depression dumb a$$...My goodness you people are so stupid.

  • Posted By: smarti29 @ 11/04/2008 1:55:30 PM

cocoo07, perfect name, you are coo coo. Why would you want a President that is not diverse in learning everything he or she needs to learn in order to have the ability to understand more. Oh I forgot, a President is better off going to war and finishing in the bottom of his or her class than reading. Oh yeah, a President is better off choosing a running mate that went to 6 different colleges before finally graduating. Oh yeah, they're qualified. You idiot, " believes that the US will no longer dominate the global economy"? Hello, do you have any clue that your precious Bush has run the dollar into the ground. The US already no longer dominates the global economy. Obama didn't do that, your boy Bush did you numbskull!!

    • Posted By: acs1176 @ 11/04/2008 2:17:12 PM

Bush had to deal with a democratic controlled congress. So, He didn't do it, it was the inactivity and negligence of that congress that didn't act on regulations of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, you numbskull

      • Posted By: smarti29 @ 11/04/2008 2:53:12 PM

Bush has the power over all that, he has veto power. Ever heard of that doofus?!! Ever heard of weapons of mass destruction? $7 billion a month of wasted money, your tax dollars hard at work, and for what? No wonder this country is where it is, idiots like you.

  • Posted By: 4USA2MORROW @ 11/04/2008 2:53:08 PM

And so therein lies the intelligence of the McCain supporters.

  • Posted By: kat8608 @ 11/04/2008 2:52:47 PM

Cain and Abel? Honestly, you need to read the Bible again.

  • Posted By: kat8608 @ 11/04/2008 2:52:07 PM

No matter who wins, there will be some people not happy about it. I voted for McCain due to the fact that he has more experience than Obama, but people see it differently. Either way, this country just needs someone to get us out of the "slump".

  • Posted By: rou000 @ 11/04/2008 2:51:05 PM

vote any independent candidate,, democrat or republican is no change!!

  • Posted By: kat8608 @ 11/04/2008 2:50:34 PM

I voted last week during the early voting period; so, my mind is made up on whom I want as president. It's a shame that there are still people out there that still don't know whom to vote for. I strongly agree with one more than the other just because of my beliefs; however, we need a person to help this country . . and I believe McCain would be the better choice. It's a sad situation though because if McCain wins then some people will be upset, but if Obama wins then there are still going to be people upset. One can't win for losing.

  • Posted By: manuel.j.marrufo @ 11/04/2008 2:48:57 PM

I agree. With Bush we have been more of a dictatorship than a demecracy. And with the lies of McCain?
Indeed he as truly and will lead us to a fraticide as in Cain and Abel. What else can we expect.

I pretty much had my mind made up for who I was going to vote for. I read an email that was circulating from concert pianist Huntley Brown. We wrote a very intelligent email to his friends on why he wasn't going to vote for Obama. After reading that, I felt comfortable with my decision. I don't agree with all his views, but I do agree with most of them. I encourage all to read if you haven't already. No matter who wins, lets hope that they can turn this country, not back to what it was, but what it could and should be in the future.

Man, its just a bummer that Bush can't be elected for another 4 yrs. We are doing so great as a country! Our health care is awesome, our education is through the roof, the financial markets are stable, our energy policies are fantastic, and other countries love us to DEATH. Hey, we should all vote for McCain because HE, like Bush (our savior) will deliver us from the democratic heathens with his great understanding of all things. Hile McCain!

  • Posted By: marianchavez @ 11/04/2008 2:45:40 PM

What's wrong with changing the way things have always been done? Maybe if that question was asked of President Bush, the middle class may not be paying taxes of 30%. Where do you think those taxes go? I'll answer for you, right into Bush's pocket along with Cheney and all the other oil buddies he payed back with his spending particularly his spending on the Iraq war and his tax breaks for oil companies. By the way, we shouldn't forget how we got there and John McCain was right there leading the vote to invade a country that didn't really have weapons of mass destruction. Hmmm, why else could we be in Iraq 6 years later? Oh I know, the oil. Let's quit acting like McCain will be any different than Bush has been. He thinks the answer to the energy crisis is to stay in Iraq and "win". I have a quesiton for him, what are we winning now? I thought President Bush announced 6 years ago that mission was accomplished. I think it is a travesty that the rich just keep sticking it to the middle class and we just sit back and say well if we don't let them, we'll loose jobs. I don't expect to loose my job because Senator Obama is elected, I expect to loose my job any day now while President Bush and his cronies sit in the White House and wonder how their going to spend all thier money from their oil investments. And please let's not get into Obama being a socialist because he wants to "spread the wealth", what is the difference between making the rich pay their fair share and giving something back to the middle class as opposed to the Federal government buying banks? Please let's quit acting like Senator Obama is some extremist. If McCain has his way, we'll be starting a 3rd war with Russia. What do you think that will do to the economy?

what is the big deal with change all of a sudden , throughout my life time 50 years people have always shunned change . we don't like the new and improved items at the grocery store, we don't like change in our office space or jobs, the new boss , the new price of gas, the new price of homes, everything that changes we complain about, but now that we have a candidate who is pushing change every one is all of a sudden wanting it. will you still want the new taxes? the changes in everything that has been promised? yes i know its all talk they say what ever they think the american people want to here but once in office do nothing except pad there own pockets. i my self am going to see how many of the changes promised will even happen . are the american people so blind to think that just because a politicians promised something it's going to happen. please wake up from you coma induced, TV overload campaign propaganda. oh believe me things will change and everyone will be shaking there heads and saying what happened to all those promises. read the history people see what has happened in the past because it will happen again. unfortunately "we the people" "by the people" "and for the people" has CHANGED over the years. its not us any more being looked out for by our politicians its us they are only looking out for them selves and there over priced retirement plan . good luck Mc Cain god knows we need someone with guts to straighten out our problems.

Any American who doesn't want change is crazy. I want a strong leader who values family and someone who will take our recessed nation and change it. I don't want a man ( McCain) to try to "change" us. He left his disfigured wife to marry Cindy in 1980. Yeah that is real Christen. for facts look at whataboutcarol.com.
I'm sorry but, Palin is no where ready to run this country. I really do like her but, not for VP. She doesn't have a role in own her family. If she did she would want to stay home with her beautful baby who has a few problems instead of her pregrant 17 yr. old taking care of the baby. Again, I'm sorry but that is my opinion. OBAMA 08
