I agree. Today we are a dictatorship more than democracy. And with all the lies put forth by McCain, he indeed has fraticide his "brother" as in Cain and Abel.

It's sad to see how unfair and bias Philadelphia is. As a first time voter and new resident to the Philly area I was in shock to see an voting office held in a church. I was in shock to see election workers putting up posters of a candidate outside the windows of the election office, to see workers handing out flyers of party ballots right at the doors of voting office. Finally, to have an official Voting Observer, who supposedly represents both parties, but carries a large tag hung from his neck showing one campaign & party's logo. All I can say is WOW!

iservdidyoudid you's Comment: So many republicans are rallying for John MCain, without looking into his POW background. Isn't it odd that no fellow POW's support MCain? Was it not a provacative move on MCain's part, that he was the only individual to block the release of previously classified documents pertaining to; POW debriefs, intel and investigations into the numerous unaccounted for POW's?

My response: I honestly do not believe it was relevant on what the POW information held on why he is the best candidate. The fact that he was a POW for over 5 years, survived, and is mentally capable says quite a bit. There is a reason information of that nature is classified, not to mention that he was married to his first wife at that time.

I already had my mind made up for who I was going to vote for. After reading an email that got circulated over the internet from concert pianist Huntley Brown, I felt at peace with my decision. I don't agree with everything he wrote, but I do agree with 95% of it. I encourage all to read it. Whoever wins, I do hope they can make this country strong again.

I just voted for change in America I hope it will not be the last time I vote as a free American. Our ancestors fled England because of taxation, for their freedom, freedom of speech. I am now unemployed for the third time this year by "Big Business in America". I am happily married with five children, we are about to lose everything we both have worked our lives for. We cannot pay our mortgage and soon we will lose it all. We all need to get out and VOTE!!! I for one am scared of what will come next and we all should be before there is a civil rebellion here in this great country. We have all seen the bank foreclosures, the jobless, health care in America and most importantly the WAR in IRAQ??? (Pause in silence) How many more of our children, nephews, cousins, brothers, husbands, wives, mothers and fathers must we lose? Why are we bailing out companies that do not manufacture anything? Insurance companies, Banks and Real Estate moguls all of whom do not manufacture products in this country... They sell protection, security and dreams and they can???t even do that right not to mention they grease the palms of whomever they please in Washington DC in an attempt to buy our Government leaders and persuade votes. Meanwhile letting companies like GM, FORD and CHRYSLER companies that built this country fall by the wayside and again close more manufacturing plants here in America creating even more jobless Americans. We all sat by and watched them over the years as they have forced the plants to move out of the US and encourage them to produce products using slave labor. What are we doing to insure a future for this country? Will we all become homeless, a non-working welfare nation, everyone poor and unhealthy? GOD forbid will we just become yet another third world country? Remember SOYLENT GREEN? I remember the movie it was the very rich and the great masses of poor, CORPORATE GREED comes to mind. I say VOTE for change today and boycott companies like AIG, FANNIE MAE, FREDDIE MAC and NIKE basically any company we suspect to be driven by greed and any company that produces out of the USA. I say bring the big three auto companies back to AMERICA, Start putting our children to work using their minds to invent a new source for energy the electric car perhaps, the technology is here it has been for years. We all know someone that needs a job today and tomorrow there will be more unemployed as we see more companies close the doors. ARE WE THE THROW AWAY NATION! It was written by our forefathers united we stand and devided we fall. Our vote counts and I truly believe this is all we have left that matters, our voice, our opinion, OUR VOTE. My example of "FREEDOM OF SPEECH" the pen is mightier than the sword. Why every election year must it always be a war of words, a slandering of the opponent? I just got home from voting here in Atlanta...to see that Georgia is now in the "toss up" category. From the look of the huge crowd at my local polling station, I got a hunch that this Red State is changing state...to Blue :)

I have to give it to Mr. Obama. He is one of the greatest persuaders I have ever listened to. I consider myself one the top end of the middle class. I am not saying that to brag but b/c I am scared of what the future may bring if Obama is elected. I work for each and every penny that I make. It makes me sick when I get my pay check and 30% of it taken for taxes. It is hard to swallow the concept of that a person in the US that does not pay a dime in taxes goes to the voting poll and can pull a lever for a canidate that will not affect them what so ever. But their vote does affect me and the money that I make. Mr. Oama talks about only taxing those who make over 250k ayear. I have news for everyone that will affect everyone that works for this employer. If he/she starts to feel a pinch there will be cut backs. I can't say I blame them. Today will be a day to remember not because he will be the first African American president but because he will single handedly ruin the greatest nation in the world and we the peolpe could have stopped it. How sad to see that this Presidental Race is over skin color. Who cares what color skin our President has? The question is...is he American? Where is the birth certificate? Is he American?
