Dont say we did not warn you, vote obama, get communist ideology, American deserve to suffer if they pick obama. I always said what happened in Cuba will happen here. Too many uninformed Americans and too many who just go with the flow of the media. I feel this could be the saddest day in America and for freedom around the world. It is the saddest day if obama rules us from the capital.

Maps like this, and the commentary about electoral votes already being "in the bag", so to speak, are the reason that people have lost faith in the political process. I can't convince my 20 year old son to vote, because he looks at your "map" and shrugs off his vote as unimportant, because our state has already been "called". There are so many programs to get people to vote, but with the electoral college calling the race, how many other disenfranchised voters (especially younger voters) will stop voting, once they see that their vote really doesn't make a difference, no matter how much we tell them that it does?

    Obama is THE ANTICHRIST

      And you are the Anti-intelligent!!

  • Posted By: analilia805 @ 11/04/2008 11:59:11 AM

I guess what I'm really scared about is... Riots... Riots if Obama wins and Riots if he looses... What Kind of example are we trying to show our next generation. Especially in Chicago. Stores are planning on closing early, I mean their is people that are genuinely scared. What about the KKK, if Obama win's I know for a fact they have something planned and the people they caught the other day were just bate, and the real masterminds are still at work. Everyone was brought here. So we are all illegals in some way shape or form. Why can't people understand that. God help us...

    • Posted By: artbhill @ 11/04/2008 2:04:27 PM

The KKK is active....for all of those McCain supporters who are set on making Obama appear to be a terrorist....the KKK and other hate groups are alive and well in the U.S. Some of you are active members or have family members that were/are. Some of you wouldn't vote for either candidate if the republican candidate was Colin Powell for example....for obvious reasons..... Anyway, I wouldn't be at all supprised to see isolated incidents here and there...but I do fear that if Obama is robbed (yes, robbed....that's the only way McCain can win this time), then all hell will break loose....that's exactly why I planned on working from home this week.

    • Posted By: artbhill @ 11/04/2008 1:58:25 PM

I'd say if Obama loses, then that would be a grave injustice. The millions of new voters are getting registered to get out and vote for another 4 years of BUSH policy. They're voting for change and so are others who've already tried their luck on BUSH twice and decided this time...I don't know...they fooled me last time....McCain has supported the policies of BUSH...maybe I'll go a different route this time OR I just won't vote this time....either way helps Obama achieve victory and I hope Obama wins by a land slide so that we can get out of Iraq and get our economy back on track. I don't mind paying a little more taxes myself. We're already in tax brackets based on income anyway and there's is still a middle class in America contrary to a post I read here. The middle class is the back bone of the U.S. economy.........

  • Posted By: billycollins_21 @ 11/04/2008 1:56:50 PM

When it comes down to it i will not be suprised at how many Obama supporters "when behind the curtain" vote for McCain.

    • Posted By: Athena59 @ 11/04/2008 2:04:15 PM

I expect there will be more who are afraid to admit to their racist friends that they are voting for Obama.

  • Posted By: anoited123 @ 11/04/2008 2:02:55 PM

Some will cut off their nose to spite their face. I'm glad it is not a Black or white issue with me. But more of who is able and capable of running this country? Why must we stay in the woods all this time? McCain decision making process is very plain to see....enough said..

If Barack is the antichrist then who are all these people full of hate, because someone skin color is not the same as their's.....
God help us and bless America...one day we will all have to stand before you...

Scientists in South Africa have proved that all non-whites are Democrats and that Democrats have smaller brains and love to worship the Devil.

    • Posted By: Dem all the way @ 11/04/2008 2:02:52 PM

Let me prove those South African scientists wrong - I am "white", highly educated (Master's in Tax), highly paid (we earn over $300K a year), go to church every Sunday and listen to Joel Osteen whnever I get a chance. I am also - pro-choice, pro-gay, pro-union, pro-middle clas, a fervent OBAMA supporter and a life long DEMOCRAT because I look at the facts not the ads and decide for myself!!!

Hello! I am responding to ???thinkforyourseld???. You said: ???I can't see how someone with no military experience can promise to end a war.??? I ask you how come someone who has very limited to none military experience could have initiated the war??? Yes, I am talking about Bush who was in National Guard and has never seen combat. My husband and I have more combat experience than last four US presidents collectively. Would you than say that Bush was incapable of making sound decisions about the war??? Was the war a mistake? How did it impact our economy?
As far as education and writing capabilities of ???StopTheHatred08???; I would not have commented on that issue if I was you since you are clearly contradicting yourself. You like McCain but Obama is the one who pushes for educational reform which is, as I can see, desperately needed in our country. Only 4% of US population is educated beyond high school. I belong to those 4% and I have to say that I am appalled to find who is voting for the future of our country. But, a person does not need a college degree to be able to think and research for themselves. All that a person needs is to strive for the truth based on sound judgment of what this country needs and not based on racial, nationalistic, religious, and other types of discrimination. Whether we are black or white does not matter when we fight the war. I am white but I fought this war with some of the most wonderful black human beings by my side. I would have given my life for them, and some of them gave their lives for me. No one in this country complains when blacks, whites, Muslims, Hispanics, and others join the military to protect this country while they serve for the United States of America. (I served with a Muslim Iraqi who was our translator.) But, it seems that many have a lot to say about the issue when it is not deemed necessary.
As I said, we are veterans! It is sad that the same government that we fought for taxes the *** out of us and gives tax breaks to wealthy. I guess, that is the thank you that we deserve! My husband is now a firefighter and he just received a Phoenix Award for resuscitating a victim, he brought her back to life. He is a hero by any means, but he cannot afford to live in the same district that he works in because we cannot afford it. Our country needs a president that is going to help US HERE. We are all suffering! So, instead of dividing ourselves and continuing the hatred let???s all get together and help our country come back on a track of continuing to be the greatest nation in the world. You heard of the saying ???Divide and conquer???. If we divide, others will conquer! If we stand together we will be all that we can be!!!

rickmad lay of the coffee or atleast stop spiking it.....

  • Posted By: acoyahall @ 11/04/2008 2:01:01 PM

I love how one person starts talking and suddenly everyone thinks it's true. Just because McCain was in the military years ago doesn't qualify him to be a great president, and just because Obama is multiracial doesn't mean he's going to bring change that no one else can. They are both just men; human beings, not Gods.

Everyone needs to stand up for their own opinion, and not let the influences and rumors guide their decisions. This country is dying and no one seems to realize that we may not recover from this one. The Great Depression came to pass in a time when we were still a strong leader in this world and we were able to bounce back from it. This time we might not be so lucky. Our schools are rated 26 in the world and steadily falling in the ranks. What kind of a future can we expect when our kids are not a priority?!?! Our economy is in the toilet and falling. People are loosing their homes and businesses and instead of helping it's people, the government bails out the Banks.

    Someone needed to say it.

If you really want to make a change in this country, then go out and do it but do it right. You won't make enough of a change "voting" for one of our only two choices for President. Our votes don't count, even now in the age of technology. The Electorial Collage is old and outdated, just as is everything about our government. Vote, then do something productive.

That said, can you guess who I voted for??

Obama needs to do more research on the appalachian region, here in Southwest Virginia and neighboring West Virginia, if coal production is cut thousands of families will starve. As if the region isn't pore enough!! All work in this area revolves around coal, and the last thing the proud people of this region want is another goverment handout they just want to keep their jobs!!!

  • Posted By: The Wise One @ 11/04/2008 12:52:07 PM

One thing everyone can agree on, we need change. Mccain wants to keep things the same and Obama wants to change them. I say we give him a shot. Whether you like it or not Obama has already won the election. You might as well face the music, it is over.

    • Posted By: kelligirl1 @ 11/04/2008 2:00:35 PM

the election is already over? You must be listening to the left wing media coverage! It's a tight race and if you know anything about past elections, take a look back at the last election, the media had Kerry winning, now go back another 4 years when the media had Gore winning by a landslide. Who won both of those races? Bush if I recall! It's over when it's over...that is if we can trust the voting system!

  • Posted By: clamy @ 11/04/2008 2:00:23 PM

How is Obama going to help you? How specifically? Can you articulate it? Obama can't even articulate it...

  • Posted By: Athena59 @ 11/04/2008 1:38:43 PM

Yes, Disabled Marine, Obama's grandmother decided to die yesterday as a political stunt. How can people be so uncaring? No one's going to vote for him b/c his grandmother died, but whether you vote for him or not, have sympathy for his family's loss.

    • Posted By: Disabled_Marine @ 11/04/2008 1:59:44 PM

They could have had respect for the Political Institution of the United States of America!! They could have announced her death tomorrow. She won't be buried until this weekend.....

  • Posted By: coco007 @ 11/04/2008 1:48:23 PM

For all you Obama voters out there, go google images of "obama the post american world." There you will see Obama holding a book "The Post American World," this author believes that the US will no longer dominate the global economy and wants every country but the USA to be stronger. Now why in the HE11 would you want someone that is going to be the president of the USA to even be reading this type of book now you have got to think what if he is planning on letting the US suffer in this way. I hope after you obama voters look at this you will regret you discision to vote for him. McCain isn't that great of option either but it's better then voting for someone that wants other countries to rule. GO MCCAIN!!!

    • Posted By: smarti29 @ 11/04/2008 1:59:39 PM

Are you serious? The book believes the U.S. won't be a power in the global economy. Huh, have you looked around lately. The US is not a global economic power and Obama is not in office yet. Hmmm, I wonder who did that. Yeah, you Bush and McCain lovers. No wonder this country is where it is, it is being run by idiots who were voted in by idiots. You would rather have someone who graduated at the bottom of their class and a running mate that went to six different colleges? That's the hands you want the US in? Wow, its time to move to Iraq.

Don't you think we have more to worry about than partial birth abortions? Typical Republican. Lesbians/gays/abortions OH MY!

    • Posted By: james_t @ 11/04/2008 1:58:31 PM

You say "Don't we have more to worry about than partial birth abortion?" No one that supports abortion thinks about who that child may have become or what disease he/she could have found a cure for....there are many alternatives to abortion. A child has a soul at conception, abortion is murder no matter what stage of pregnancy it is performed.

  • Posted By: billycollins_21 @ 11/04/2008 1:58:15 PM

As i have stated before, when it comes down to it all the Obama supporters " when behind the curtain" will vote for McCain.

  • Posted By: SarahJane @ 11/04/2008 1:56:46 PM

The Democrats don't have control of Congress, they would need a veto-proof majority in the Senate in order to "take over Congress."

  • Posted By: camib22 @ 11/04/2008 1:56:18 PM

This is a time when we need to come togheter as a country and figure out how to work together. I hope that no matter who is elected president we can become a unified nation.

  • Posted By: jstahora @ 11/04/2008 1:56:13 PM

The fact that all of you McCain supporters can ride Obama on his lack of experience, that he is a "radical muslim", and even twistedly refer to him as giving good speeches similar to Hitler, SHOULD ALL DO YOUR HOMEWORK! McCain picked Caribou Barbie who is NOT ONLY lacking in the experience to become 2nd in command BUT IS ALSO LACKING IN THE INTELLIGENCE (if you need something to support this, please refer to her interview with Katie Couriec) to GOD FORBID, step up if something were to happen to John McCain. Sarah Palin's husband was a member of the AIP (Alaskan Independence Party) up until 2002 who not only wish that Alaska could seperate from the United States of America, but HATES AMERICANS as well! I know I will get what I WISH FOR....OBAMA as the next president, but if by chance we do get what you McCain supporters wish....ALL HAIL QUEEN PALIN!
