Why does BO think that every black person should vote for him? BECAUSE HE IS RACIST. BO hates white people. Just listen to his wife and pastor! He is a racist and a sexist. He wouldn???t pick the person that beat him in the democrat primaries and now he is ruthlessly attacking Palin because she is MORE qualified than he is. BO is joke and he stinks as bad as his initials suggest!!!

Palin is a retard and everybody knows it, even you know it. She does not have a clue of what is going on. All she is capable of doing is regurgitating b***sh$t. As a far a Barrack being racist, you would want to believe that because it helps you to feel better about your racist way of thinking. Barrack has reason to be bitter with America every race that has put blood, sweat and tears into the building of this '"America" should be bitter and what makes it worse is that you believe that you were chosen to be boss. What have you done? What does your heritage have to be proud of, stealing? lying? cheating? Give me a break

I'm sure he didn't pick Clinton to be his running mate because he would be in danger of assassination within 6 months of entering office.

Oh..and with respect to Joe Biden...look at his record...This moron has not been on the correct side of a "decision" in nearly twenty years...DO yourself a favor-.Look at his track record...this guy has been wrong nearly EVERY SINGLE TIME. Im not a huge Palin fan...but Biden is totally CLUELESS...all he has is "experience" and "lip service"...oh wait...thats exactly what Obama offers as well...just with LESS experience... I guarantee...we WILL get "hit" within 12 months..if Obama gets in...GUARANTEED.you heard it here first

What people have to remember, is that the last eight years are a reflrection of government by the Republican Administration. Not George Bush. When McCain says "I am not George Bush" we need to remember that.
I believe that although nobody in this country is completely without fault, the Repub licans have done more damage to the way America and Americans are perceived globally than ever in our history as a nation. McCain is right. He is not George Bush, but neither am I.

I am really tired of hearing all this noise about Obama's birth certificate, his illegal aunt, his religious history etc. If you want to see his birth certificate, do some research. There is a website that you can get a copy of his birth certificate (not sure the exact address) but do the research. The radical views and acquaintances keep popping up because the republican party know the only way to win is to lie to the American people. I have been watching Obama and keeping track of him since he first appeared on Oprah and have NEVER seen him act ashamed of this country or it's flag. If he didn't put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem, who cares? Go to a major sporting event and you could count just on your hands the number of people who actually do. His aunt is here illegally (whom he hasn't had contact with in years) but we all have relatives who were here illegally at one point. On the religious point, I was born and raised in Georgia (Baptist) and I have to say there are people in these Churches that I wouldn't trust with my dog. Why does a man's religion have to determine whether he is qualified to run this country? Get over it and get ready for the great change that is coming our way!!

I am hopeful that whichever candidate wins this election will be able to make the necessary changes to turn this country around - but I wish I could hear something besides rhetoric out of Obama. I do believe that Obama is the more educated candidate, but he is also the scariest choice to me. Why won't he produce his birth certificate? Why do radical "acquaintances" and views keep popping up in association with Obama? Why does he act almost ashamed to display the flag of the country which has given him opportunities that he could have not had anywhere else???

    • Posted By: kelligirl1 @ 11/04/2008 1:17:30 PM

I Agree, why is there no birth certificate? Why isn't he proud to be an American? How can you run for President of the United States and not be proud to be an American? He may very well be a very educated individual, but there are too many questions of his whole life. Why would we want to take a chance on someone who was so many questions surrounding him?

John McCain has been fighting for America since he was old enough, and his father before him. He has suffered long for his country and has put other countrymen before himself, can you be more of a Patriot? I know I want him on my side shall the winds of politics turn negative, not a president who says they'll stand with the Muslims.

note to j23g: Before you give your opinion about the future president of this country, learn how to SPELL....seriously. On another note, Senator Obama is the fresh start that we ALL need. Simply put, he embodies the American dream. I truly believe we have lost touch with that dream, in our own unique way....don't think McCain will get us our dreams back..but Senator Obama will.

    Saynotobo,

What a load of drivel. Did I miss the statement from Obama where he says that every black person should vote for him? You can make whatever you want to out of Wright, but I believe that Obama never condoned or supported what the Reverend said, although I do think he had to have been aware of some of it and so should have spoken out against this long before the story broke. As for being a sexist - I think the missus would slap him silly! What does not picking Hillary as his running mate mean except that he didn't relish the idea of a daily power struggle with BOTH of the Clinton's if he was elected? How has he ruthlessly attacked Palin? I don't think he has even mentioned her more than a couple of times. It seems like everyone BUT Obama has attacked her, including many prominent Republicans, because she is a mental midget with an extreme lust for power. Palin is the joke and McCain is going to be held accountable for having picked someone so utterly uninformed and unprepared. CFMA - Country First My A! I guess you were one of the few people able to unscramble the gibberish of the answers she gave (or didn't give) to Couric and Gibson? Did you also enjoy her maverickness at the debate when her responses to questions sometimes didn't even address the questions or when she said that she wasn't going to answer the question put forward so that she could talk about something else? It seems the rules don???t apply to this person. (Gee, reminds me of our current president and vice president.) What a useless, self-absorbed and narcissistic windbag she is. If McCain / Palin lose today maybe you can move to Alaska before she and the First Dude attempt to have that state secede from the Union. If this isn't an option, maybe you can get over or learn to live with your bitterness - as a large percentage of the people of this country have had to do for the last eight years. Good luck, Hater.

Anybody who actually gets fanatical about politics as a whole or one of the candidates is a bigger moron than previously given credit for. WE NEED CHANGE! Plain and simple! It's not about who is who in candidacy terms, it's about saving our country as a whole and allowing young citizens to have a shot at a future! If we continue on the path we're on right now, we're going to set ourselves back 100 years by having parents living with children and even grandparents living with children! Does anyone really want that to occur? If you do, I mean, fine! But, let's be realistic and give ourselves a shot at regaining a country that has lost track thanks to Bush, Cheney, and Greenspan.

I am praying that Barack Obama wins! It's so sad how this election truly opened my eyes to really see how much racism this country is still bearing. I've already voted for Obama first thing this morning, but the reason as to why I'm voting for him is NOT because he is black/white, but because he is offering a better change. Yes, he will be making business owners with big incomes pat more taxes, but if people want to make that a big deal and fuss about "speading the wealth" someone please tell Sarah Palin to spread some of the wealth over to me! Spending almost $200,000 on clothes ALONE for herself! Mind you, that money that she's spending to look so good with is not even her own money! I can't and I don't even want to imagine what she or Mccain would do with our (taxpayers) money! I know Obama would use that for much more important things.
And no brainer about 9 or 10 comments below me, talking about Obama will ruin this country because he's ok with letting gay couples marry and be happy with eachother and all of this nonsense, listen, gay people will be gay REGARDLESS if they're able to get married or not. Let them live their lives just like we're living ours. Seriously, people are just finding anything in the cracks to make Obama look bad.
So, we'll see the results tomorrow! I know I can't wait! And for all the Obama supporters, please try not to dance too much and yell in peoples faces out of happiness when Obama wins!! :-)
    OOOOObbbbbaammmmmmaaa!!!!! Let's get it!

    • Posted By: gtzgirl @ 11/04/2008 1:14:39 PM

Do you understand that even though Sarah did spend $150,000 on clothes, it was truely needed AND all of it goes to charity after the election. She doesn't get to keep them. It has also helped stimulate the economy. AND Obama does NOT consider himself white. Have you spent the time to read his comments? He is black and muslim and will side with the muslim forces with any potential down falls. How does this affect everything that has been done over in Iraq? We can not agree with every single thing that the Bush administration has done, that is impossible...HOWEVER, it has been the better choice to take control of issues that are spiraling out of control. McCain has fought for the United States of America to make it a better place for YOU AND ME! Barack Hussain (sp.?) Obama has not served our country nor should he in any capacity. He is from Illinois, which has many issues alone. He is not fit to run our country, period. MCCAIN AND PALIN ALL THE WAY!

  • Posted By: cmtazman @ 11/04/2008 1:14:27 PM

Is it true Oboma has no birth certifacate??? If he doesnt, how did he get this far???

  • Posted By: megb @ 11/04/2008 1:14:26 PM

Darlene, my dear, obviously you have no informed opinion whatsoever. If we "wrapped up" Iraq, we would still need to maintain a presence over there or else 9/11 would seem like a kiddie show. In case anyone cared to think about it, we are still maintaining a presence in Korea and Japan (although Korea for support and protection from N. Korea and Japan because now they are allies). Does anyone remember when those wars were fought? A lot longer ago than Desert Storm, I'll tell you. This election has nothing to do with the fashion sense and ethnicity of the candidates. There are some very core issues here that no one seems to be paying attention to, and that scares me because today you are deciding on who will lead our country. For example, Sarah Palin has more executive experience than Obama. Granted it is in Alaska as opposed to Illinois, but at least she has some experience running a portion of the government. She and McCain are down to earth, practical human beings. From the very start Barack Obama has been sounding like a 3rd grader promising longer recess if elected. He is elitist and self-important. As for the idea that McCain might "snap" and want to nuke somebody, that is why our government contains a system of checks and balances. The president does not have a red "go" button at his desk. It would take an entire administration of crazy people to initiate such an event and personally I have a greater regard for our government and people in general than that. I hope that anyone reading these today will honestly think beyond the superficial of this election. Things like cutting funding to already underpaid troops to protest a war that we are gaining ground in is a dumb idea. I sincerely hope that whatever the outcome of this election, it is for the best of the country, not for the morons who just want to see a woman or a black man or whatever in Washington.

Your language makes you come off as a real educated person. I'm glad you have a say in our next president. I can't see how someone with no military experience can promise to end a war. The democratic senate is responsible for the downward economic spiral. It's amazing you trust someone with less political experience than Sarah Palin to run this country. This election is not what scares me about this country, its the now known widespread ignorance that this election has brought to the forefront.

    • Posted By: OBAMASUPPORTER-all the way @ 11/04/2008 1:13:52 PM

You just had someone in office who does not have any "real" military experience for 8 years. All he did was muck up the country. Why choose someone whose going to step in all of Bush's footprints. It's time for a CHANGE!!! O-B-A-M-A! I voted this morning because I want a change from all this misery. Anyone who has a brain knows that this mess cannot be changed overnight, but at least OBAMA Supporters know that we have a chance with OBAMA

  • Posted By: gwd5775 @ 11/04/2008 1:12:53 PM

For the record...this is NOT about black and white...whis is about where our country will be taken by the next president. I could care less that Obama is black ( or half and half) What concerns me is his willingness to "punish" the hard working people of this country....and "share the wealth" with those who are incapable or UNWILLING to be sufficiently motivated to get a job...ANY job. Ive busted my hump for nearly 30years..and Ill be damned if Im gonna give my money away to a GOVERNMENT that feels it needs to "share the wealth" with those who remain unaccountable for THEIR behavior, actions and choices. I have no problem helping those who attempt to help themselves...I REFUSE to help those who feel some sense of entitlement...SORRY...

gtzgirl @ : The best choise for this country is Obama. 72 years old guy belong to the past. Sorry to tell you. we're heading to the future. So get comfortable with the idea. Muslim, so what? Arab? . So what?

Is it true Obama doesnt have a birth certificate??? If he doesnt, how is it possible he's gotten this far?

  • Posted By: c_weeks @ 11/04/2008 1:11:47 PM

Wow-Speaking of, and I will use your words Darlene-"Ignorant"-you really believe in things such as the "Manchurian Candidate"? and you really think that the best way to solve the Iraq war problem is to just "wrap it up"? I agree that the war is causing a large detriment to our society as a whole, but if you really think that just to all of a sudden leave is the solution, then I hope something keeps you from hitting the polls today, because the reason we have electoral votes that matter more than the votes of all of us is because there are too many people like you who are completely misinformed, and are not capable of making an informed vote. And if by some chance of stupidity we all of a sudden pull troops out of the middle east and say "we tried, lets just go home", then you you and your family really would have "the *** scared out of you" when you see what a nation of people who have lived the same way for thousands of years and have taught their children upon children to believe the same teachings that have caused wars and death for thousands of years are capable of and more than happy to do, not just to our country but to any nation not of their belief. America is slowly becoming a communist country, and Europe is becoming a Muslim nation. It's really not that hard to see it.

I however, do not support barrack obama, because he has no respect for our great country. He has protested the government in a many of different ways and to some of our best presidents. Sure, President George W. Bush has made some mistakes, but I would like to see you an average citizen do better under the same circumstances he has had his presidency term. Candidate John McCain, however; will be a successful president because he cares for the Great Country of the United States of America. His political views do not change to the public like barrack obama's do. barrack obama changes his political and moral views so much I'm sure he doesn't even know what they are. However, John McCain has served a fighter pilot during the Vietnam War, which shows he is a true patriot and also his father and grandfathers have also served in the military showing a long line of patriotic people. Just remember when you step into the Poll Booth today, that barrack obama will steal your money for the benefit of himself, but John McCain will only perserve this great nation to become even more powerful.

From your statement, It is obvious that you are not a Black person in America. As far as John McCain goes, he fought in a war with millions of others. Fortunately for him, he was able to snitch and come home. Most of the men who found died with honor.

I can't believe some of these responses........ I do believe our country needs and deserves a change. Why do some think there will be rioting... No one caused a riot when President oooh *** Em Bush stole the Electoral and then there was the ordasity to place him there again. If you feel there is a problem with a business paying a higher tax... then really look at the situation. This probably the same company you've been working for over the last 3-5 years maybe even more.... ooh they really care about you when they give you a 30 cent raise, or lower your healthcare benefits and then charge you a portion of the premium. Or better yet when they walk in and hand you a pink notice stating your relationship with the company is not working out, no notices, no nothing..... As a young citizen with a family, never on government aid may I add, it is quite sickening... wheres the loyality in that. There are so may companies moving there business to foreign states, not because no one wants to work them, but for there on financial greed..... My kids need to eat just like yours, my kids deserve an education just like yours, my kids have dreams and aspirations just like yours.......... You people need to wake up...... To resist change in human nature. I personally have reviewed all of my candidates issues.......... Its about time !!!! Obama voters stand up !!!
