I am praying that Barack Obama wins! It's so sad how this election truly opened my eyes to really see how much racism this country is still bearing. I've already voted for Obama first thing this morning, but the reason as to why I'm voting for him is NOT because he is black/white, but because he is offering a better change. Yes, he will be making business owners with big incomes pat more taxes, but if people want to make that a big deal and fuss about "speading the wealth" someone please tell Sarah Palin to spread some of the wealth over to me! Spending almost $200,000 on clothes ALONE for herself! Mind you, that money that she's spending to look so good with is not even her own money! I can't and I don't even want to imagine what she or Mccain would do with our (taxpayers) money! I know Obama would use that for much more important things.
And no brainer about 9 or 10 comments below me, talking about Obama will ruin this country because he's ok with letting gay couples marry and be happy with eachother and all of this nonsense, listen, gay people will be gay REGARDLESS if they're able to get married or not. Let them live their lives just like we're living ours. Seriously, people are just finding anything in the cracks to make Obama look bad.

all i can say is i have been going back and forth with the issues and the candidates. both hold very good arguments. My thing is a woman's right to choose should be just that. i don't believeANYONE should judge a person for what they do or who they believe in. That is what God or your higher power is for. I have faithfully served my country and respect ANYONE who has done so. i want our brothers, sisters, mother, and fathers to come home from far away places too but there is a reason why we are the BEST country in the world. lastly anyone who is opposed to gay marriage is a fool. i mean its the millenia for petes sake, what does it matter. i mean if gay/lesbians want to go through all the same cheers and woes that hetero couples go through who are we stop stop them? doesn't it say in the bible that love is kind and forgiving? If you are about the issues and not the political bs i STRONGLY recommend for anyone to listen to DEAR MR PRESIDENT by PINK. It WILL open your eyes to what we are going through. whoever takes over in office dem or repub, support them. we are one of the only countries that actually get the opportunity to vote. Stop being so ungrateful and be proud of who come to term!

Your language makes you come off as a real educated person. I'm glad you have a say in our next president. I can't see how someone with no military experience can promise to end a war. The democratic senate is responsible for the downward economic spiral. It's amazing you trust someone with less political experience than Sarah Palin to run this country. This election is not what scares me about this country, its the now known widespread ignorance that this election has brought to the forefront.

McCain is the best choice as our president. I just do not understand how a muslim siding candidate could become our next president. People need to look into all of the facts before jumping in to vote for Obama. McCain isn't the best choice overall, however he is for this election. Democrates MUST see past being a democrate and see who is the best choice now....regardless which side of the political fence they usually are on. Obama will not make things better....he will worsen the economy for all and will destroy everything this nation has been built up to be.

I've been reading some of your comments and most of you are quite IGNORENT, it has nothing to do with the fact he is black oh excuse me, not even full black, obviously you all haven't really been paying attention, I mean he was raised by his WHITE grandmother, whom I give a heart felt I'm sorry to OBAMA and his FAMILY for her loss, I feel very sad that she didn't have the chance to see her grandson WIN the PRESIDENTIAL ELECT.

To the people who are woried about riots if Obama is not elected. I am voting for Obama but you do need to understand about "N" blacks if Obama is not elected they will say it was fixed and probaly will riot.

It shouldn't ve about whether Obama is black or that McCain is a war hero. Or that Obama is young and McCain is older. It shoucl be about their political veiws and only that.

Hundred of thousands of minorities who have been of legal age to vote and never bothered to register until now when there is a candidate who is a minority are morally just.
Those who have been registered voters for years and have exercised their right to vote since they have been of legal age to vote and are choosing to vote for McCain are racists,

I am the one angered by my choice of candidate being questioned, I have served this country for 26 years in the Navy to ensure we continue to have this right.
I voted for Mccain not only because I am a Republican but because I took the time to truly research and study the issues. By the way I did research for all of the candidates who were on my ballot, like Senate seats, Mayor and City councils and it was sad when I was in line today there were people who didn't know who else was on the ballot.
