It's too bad we can't just vote for McCain and Biden together! I like Obama's youthful idealism and McCain's experience with the choice of crossing party lines on many issues, but Ms. Sarah Palin???? I am a woman, but I just can't trust someone who says there is no proof of global warming! Ha ha ha. Give me a break!

then you show it to me!

  • Posted By: Show me Proof @ 11/04/2008 11:38:50 AM

I'd love to see the proof of Obama and Osama actually being "best friends" as you have been calling them. I'd also like to see information on him being a Muslim.

In actuality we do not have great candidates of either side; so, regardless of which way the election goes; we are do not have the best options

  • Posted By: saynotobo @ 11/04/2008 11:37:42 AM

PALIN is MORE QUALIFIED than BO!!!!! I'd bet my dog that those people voting for BO voted to create the democrat controlled house and senate that created this economic downfall that we are in!!!

I think we need to be very afraid if Obama wins. It will be our nation's darkest 4 years. I agree with the previous comment, he does not have the spine, nor the experience to lead. Unfortunately, he will probably win due to the large amount of the population that wants a hand out.

    • Posted By: ohgoodness @ 11/04/2008 11:37:38 AM

oh surely the dems will credit the first 4 years of hell to Bush... even though they credited Bush's first four years of hell to Bush and not Clinton...

What scares me is all the hype and hysteria for Obama. I have been called terrible names and been badgered for my support for McCain. Where as, Obama is primarily running on his race, not his qualifications. And, anyone that does vote for him or support him, we are called racist or crazy. Vote the facts, not the hysteria

Why does it seem to me that all the posts for Republicans are full of non-sequiturs, spelling mistakes, and grammar problems. Is it because Republicans rely on the poor to remain stupid, and vote for them because it was what they were taught? This North Carolinian voted for CHANGE. Perhaps your child will benefit from it. Perhaps we'll all be able to go to the doctor when we need to, without fear of going into bankruptcy. Perhaps, just perhaps you're just scared of a black man being in office? He's not the Anti-Christ. He's black. Why not just say what your racist heart really wants to say? You don't want a black man in charge of our country. Well, I want whoever will help us the most. Black or white. It's 2008, and I believe iit's time to change. BTW I'm white, male, and over 30. If Obama can get MY vote, I don't see why everyone isn't voting for him. It's time for change. and to Grreystone, if Obama wins, can I count of your moving to Canada or Mexico?

When you start off a speach ranting about spelling and grammer mistakes you should proofread before you submit. Now you look like an idiot!

    • Posted By: lbrasher @ 11/04/2008 11:06:47 AM

You should check your grammar as well, last sentence. WOW

    • Posted By: ohgoodness @ 11/04/2008 10:38:05 AM

Are you serious? I'm pretty sure the majority of the poor vote Dem...

"How can McCain note even be winning his own state. I think that says more than any campaign ad, debate, or media appearance."

Oh really? What do you think it says? I think it says OBAMA SUPPORTERS ARE NOTHIN BUT A BUNCH OF TRADERS!

So this is where all the racist, ill informed, delusional, palin's "real america", McRage supporting, simple minded, brainwashed, ignorant, sorry excuses for human beings, more like wastes of space and oxygenites come to discuss politics. Putting an S in Obama's name does not make him a terrorist you idiot. He's not a "black man" running for president, he's a man running for president. He's not going to make african american people rich and put caucasians on welfare, the majority of people on walfare are caucasians from Palin's middle america. Ugh, I can't post anymore, you people frustrate me.

The fact that all of you McCain supporters can ride Obama on his lack of experience, that he is a "radical muslim", and even twistedly refer to him as giving good speeches similar to Hitler, SHOULD ALL DO YOUR HOMEWORK! McCain picked Caribou Barbie who is NOT ONLY lacking in the experience to become 2nd in command BUT IS ALSO LACKING IN THE INTELLIGENCE (if you need something to support this, please refer to her interview with Katie Couriec) to GOD FORBID, step up if something were to happen to John McCain. Sarah Palin's husband was a member of the AIP (Alaskan Independence Party) up until 2002 who not only wish that Alaska could seperate from the United States of America, but HATES AMERICANS as well! I know I will get what I WISH FOR....OBAMA as the next president, but if by chance we do get what you McCain supporters wish....ALL HAIL QUEEN PALIN!

  • Posted By: sam72 @ 11/04/2008 11:32:54 AM

we do not want another bush, hater , enough making enemies increasing terrorist around the world, we need friends who love America our country. that 's why I am sure that Mr. Obama will realise my dreame.and also sure that he will work for all Americans and he will not run after the oil to increase his own fortune using youth Citizen.

Unfortunately many uneducated voters will be out today. Many actually voting for the first time, this is truly a historic campaign, however we need to all understand that the fate of our country does not rest in the hands of one man, (whomever is elected,) it is up to us as a nation to take the reigns and insist on the necessary changes that need to be made to bring us back to where we should be. For those of you who only hear the plans to save our economic status, have you asked yourselves where is that money going to come from? Yup that's right, you and me the working americans.

  • Posted By: cosmopro @ 11/04/2008 11:32:24 AM

Sen. McCain has paid his dues. No other is more qualified to be our commander and chief. In about 10 years we will have a history on Obama. Right now we don't know him. McCain/Palin all the way.

I started out working at a factory. I worked very hard and many hours. I made many sacrifices and saved as much as I could. I also took college classes to get a degree and to better myself. This also took alot of money and mroe time. I then went into considerable debt and sacrificed more so that I could start my own business, which was my dream my whole life. It took several years and many more sacrifices and more stress than I thought a person could possibly take. All the stress, long hours, hard work, and many many sacrifes finally paid off. Now owning my own business and doing quiet well, I still have to make many sacrifes still and still have alot of stress that goes along with it. One thing any business owner will tell you is that almost 50% of your income goes to taxes - federal, social security, workmens comp., property, city, state, business, and the list goes on. If my taxes increase I will be forced to raise prices, reduce wages for my emplyees, and even lay some employees off. I have house payments, car payments, kids to care for, college to pay for, and utility bills just like my employees do. I also pay half of their social security, 90% of their insurance, holiday pay, sick pay, uniforms, and bonuses. I worked hard to get to where I am and had to face many obsticles and rejection. But I did what had to be done and did not give up and now Obama wants to tax me even more so that the ones who don't want to make the sacrifes and put in the 80 hours a week, and go hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt, and don't want to take care of their own health, he want to take my hard earned money and give it to them. I treat my emplyees very well and they are paid a fair wage. Some of them want to vote for Obama and take the risk of losing their job due to me having to cut back on exspences due to Obama's economic plan. I hope and pray for me and my famlily's sake and for the sake of my emplyee's jobs Obama does not get elected ! ! ! !

Thank you for posting your position as a business owner. I don't believe many realize all of the taxes involved in owning a business. (And God forbid, if you are ever even a day late on remitting your taxes to the dear old Federal, State and Local Governmnets.)

May your company have continued prosperity and may you continue to employ everyone at your company after today.

Go John McCain!!!! You are what this country needs!!!!!

    CHANGE IS JOHN MCCAIN!!!!!

I for one do NOT want a president that won't salute the flag. It is disrespectfull to our country and the people who live here. If you don't love our country enough to respect the flag and what it stands for then get out.
