I read Americanvoter3???s comments and I was amazed at the percentages and other ???facts??? that are presented. Please people do not recite empty campaign slogans as if they were actually factual. Try researching for facts. How is it nearly every other developed nation can offer health care, but it would be the demise of our entire health care industry if we tried it? Fact or fear? I know for most of us, our money is very emotional, but that does not excuse making unfounded statements as if they were factual.

This isn't about his service in the military, this is about Mccain's service to the government as a senator in AZ. He brought sound policies and strong representation to AZ. Obama has done nothing in IL and the only reason he won was because no one else ran against him during his first term. Lets see who is more realistic, lets see who brought sound pragmatic policies and served them out during his terms?

I'm done here, I'm glad you all voted and spoke your opinion but I have yet to see one sound policy presented by Obama let alone any other one besides Universal Healthcare and Economic due process (the basic Democratic policy template) which is frankly pathetic. He's a smooth talker and that's about it.

I agree with tired of paying for lazy people. My brother of all people doesn't want to work so he got a doctors note saying he can't and the government is sending him a check every month so he can live on the northside of the city and go to school full time. As were I am an honors student I work full time and volunteer part time while going to school in which I fully have to pay for by myself because the government thinks I make to much. That is crap! It is very important to vote!

Arizona, where I live, is one of the most guilty states for government funding abuse. I see the welfare recipients buying lobster and steaks. Of course they can't buy liquor or cigs but you know what they do? They sell their food stamp credits for cash to their other family members. If McCain is so damn wonderful, why doesn't he stop the unjustice of his own state? Arizona is not standing with McCain - what does that say?

AZ is not even supporting McCain - that should speak volumes. And yes my research is pretty thorough, but as all Americans, you are entitled to your opinion. But the facts are the facts. And yes I am a small business owner and yes I voted for Obama, and yes our paralegals did extensive research, and our founding fathers never faced a deficit of our magnitude...so get with it. Catch up!

Alright man, if you really believe Obama's cheap policies like the rest of this nation does go for it it's your voice and I respect that no matter how idealogically ridiculous you may sound right about now. It's hard to believe that a whole government will destroy a healthcare industry that's responsible for 20% of our GDP and thousands of jobs, it will takes years to found a srong universal healthcare system and it's too late. The industry has outgrown a universal healthcare policy.

Do you really think that you won't be taxed? What small business owner makes over $250K? He's bound to lower that number and you'll be munching your words that you wont' be taxed unfairly. Bush will go down as the worst president in history, 2nd to Obama.

I have to voice a few things to all of the opinionated people on the FAR right. First, African Americans make up close to 13% of the United States population, if you take away the people who are ineligible to vote, African Americans aren't voting Obama into office. If he wins it will be a result of the rest of the non-black population of this country, primarily European Americans! Next, didn't Earned Income Credit Tax credit begin with the Reagan administration, you know the tax credit where people making under a certain amount of money don't have to pay any federal taxes and still get a tax refund (sounds like redistribution to me)! Last, my husband has served this country for the past twelve years in the Army, my brother-in-law took a $60,000.00 cut in pay to go to Iraq because he chooses to stay in the reserves and serve his country, my brother works for the Department of Defense as a civilian, my father served this country for 22 years in the Navy and another 20 for the Department of the Navy as a civilian, I also have a sister who is a recently retired police officer of 23 years, my point of all of these credentials is this, we're African American and I'm tired of the opinionated racists who believe all black people are looking for hand-outs. This is my country just as much as it is yours, my family works for it, do you? I am a registered independent and chose not to vote this election. Obama is too liberal for my taste in many of his views and I just don't like Sarah Palin, I believe she is affiliated with the Alaskan Independence Party who just like Rev. Wright "hates" Americas government and a lot of other aspects of this country. And for the African Americans that read this post and draw an opinion of me, I will never vote based on race alone.

All I can say is WE as a people need to pray.....what would our founding Fathers say if they saw the state of this nation. Unless we return to the Roots to which this Country was founded upon we are in trouble. That begins with REPENTING and PRAYING THAT GOD WILL HEAL OUR LAND.
