Also, if more taxes are imposed on the wealthy, like your boss for example, they may have to scale back eligble funding available to keep positions like yours around. High taxes on companies can eliminate jobs, raise the cost of goods and pass on those costs to us. We have already seen the rising fuel costs rolled into our everyday needs products at the grocery. Thanks to the liberal stance against exploring our own energry resources.

Just because someone fought for our country doesn't mean they are the best for it. Obama has fresh, new ideas that help the people that actually need help. McCain tax exempts the companies that take jobs from America and puts them overseas...how is that putting your country first? He also wants to "win the war." There is no winner in war! Everyone suffers. How is that putting your country first? And just because Obama is black doesn't mean all other black people are voting for him. That's like saying all white people will vote for McCain! Quit putting race into everything. Obama provides the chance for the middle class to refresh. I am so glad he's going to put a stop to these oil companies making record profits and giving their bigwigs huge bonuses when other people are struggling to put food on the table. And for those of you worried about the welfare thing, get your facts straight. You can't even be on welfare unless you are disabled, or have a job and aren't making enough income to support yourself. Blame the agencies for letting the lazy people get by without working, not the president. Everyone thinks that people on welfareare lazy and unemployed. Do you know anyone on welfare? Ask them about the requirements and get your facts straight. Not any candidate for anyone is 100% perfect, but pick the one that best represents the issues you really care about. If you care about helping others then you should vote for Obama. If you care about "winning" the war that we've been spending 10 billion dollars a month in in Iraq, giving even more money to oil companies by protecting the big CEO's, and giving more AMERICAN jobs to foreign countries, then vote for McCain.

So many people are voting, this is a good sign to me, our country and its people need be involved with our government and politics. We don't want to live in fear like some of the other countries. I think if McCain gets in we are no better off than what we have already and that stinks, gas is high ,lives are being taken in a war for politics and the economy is in one of the worse stages it has been in since the great depression. We can not do any worse with Obama give him a chance and we'll see. The truth of it is though we are promised all these things from the runners up and how do we know if it ever gets done.

Okay I am going to be as brief as possible while still addressing several of your comments and my own views. The thing that makes me the most upset is the fact that we (Americans) who preach brotherly love for other nations can not come to face with that methodology here in our own country. We (Americans) have hated or disliked each other (Americans) for years based on race alone, and I feel that on both sides of the table the race thing is too big of an issue. It's amazing to me to read about how "some Americans feel about the fact that a African American is running for President. First, white people have never been lynched just because, fired just because, not about to live in certain neighborhood. I went to school in the 50's. This is not your grandfather's America.
