As a political junkie I am embarrass at the candidates selected by the people or more properly analyzed as being shoved down the throat by a political hacks. As for Obama and the insult to his own mother by calling himself Afro American when in reality he is Euro Afro American. And as for the Bush parrot McCain who will lead us down the path to the worst times this country will ever know that would make us susceptible to military invasion or worse. I expect McCain to win nonetheless . God bless America

Rescue8, I couldn't agree with you more. As far as libswillsellusout, you argue against your own point. You speak of pointless claims, but you make several of the same types of claims against Obama's multiple associations. As rescue8 said, both men are intelligent. There is a (roughly) eqaul chance of either candidate getting elected. Let's stop making these pointless claims and focus on what each candidate will do to help us. There is no "perfect" candidate. Vote for your beliefs, not against your fear.

Just 3 months ago our fine President, that I unfortunately voted for was telling us that the economy was fundamentally sound, then three weeks ago he was begging congress to bail out his buddies on Wall Street. All of Obama's associates are radicals, anarchists, anti-americans, and middle easterners. Did we forget 9/11? How is this getting past Americans? Obama wants to disarm America, both militarily and personally by reducing nukes and missle defense systems (video on internet of him saying it), and by greatly reducing the taxes on guns and ammo, and making it a crime to kill home invaders in self defense (look at voting record). Why would an American President want to do this? Put 2 and 2 together people! Obama is the company he keeps. The radical Muslims and terrorists have an ally (he wants to unconditionally meet with them - see debates) in Barack HUSSEIN Osama. Why would you take a HUGE gamble voting for this shady character (hides his real birth certificate from the press, has order the L.A. Times not to release video and or audio of a dinner meeting he has 6 MONTHS AGO (recently) with Bill Ayers and Pakistani Khalledi where they spoke of Isreal being the problem rather than the victim! Folks, if you know anything about the end times prophecies of the Bible, when Isreal goes, we all go. Are Americans blind?! WAKE UP and vote for a real AMERICAN HERO in John McCain (American Prisoner of War, who fought for our country, why would he ever hurt it?). If your excuse is that you are afraid Palin will inherit the White House and she has no experience, what do you think Obama has? Palin has more executive (the kind you need to run a government) experience than any of the other 3 running, and she has ALREADY done an incredible job of fighting the status quo and the "good ol' boy network" (an actual record, can you say EXPERIENCE!). Obama has mere months in the Senate, and has done NOTHING of any merit as a senator. Obama is a good orator, and it ends there. Christian African Americans voting for Obama should be ashamed of themselves. You are dropping morals in favor of skin color. Obama is the most liberal on abortion, supporting partial birth abortions, and no medical treatment of live birth botched abortions (he would rather they suffer and die with no medical treatment- check his stances if you dont believe me, there is proof all over the internet, in his own words). He dismisses the live, mutilated babies as "pre-viable fetuses" and as "temporarily alive" (his own terms) SHAME SHAME SHAME! What has happened to America? WAKE UP before it's too late!!!!!!!

The only logical reason i can see for why the press and millions of Americans ignoring or twisting all these reports about Obamas assosiations and caricter is that they started with a diccision and are trying to make the facts fit that dicission.They dicided that Obama was "The Savior" and now all these reports are coming out and there dicission is threatened by there lojic,so they have to twist or ignore the facts to make them fit.Logic tells us to do the exact opposite.Look at the facts first.The man is freinds with countless terorists.Hes freinds with a man who is a oppen anti-semite and thinks Israel,our only true ally in the worldshould be destroyed.Obama gave money,support,and as we found out today,a list of supporters to ACORN,a group he knew was doing many illegal things,yet he still supported them(at least until they got caught and his political carrear was in jeaprady by being assosiated with them).What does this all say about the mans carricter?Look at the facts first,as you do in any logical decision,and then ask yourself,Do you really want Barak Obama to be your president?

I am a veteran with 11 years service, 5 years active in the USMC and 6 years in the CT National Guard. I served my country, I Love my country and I beleive in my country. The ones that have all this hatred in them need to truely pray when the attend church this sunday. I know I will pray for them.

I must give it to Obama. He can too the American people with a straight face that he will not increase taxes to anyone making under $250,000. Well America, he also said he will not extend the Bush tax cuts. If they are not extended, they go away. If they go away, everyone will have to pay more taxes. So while he is telling the truth--his truth will cost every American more in taxes. He does't have to increase taxes. He will just let them increase all by themselves.

Palin ruined it for me. I can't even stand to hear her speak anymore. She sounds more like she is running for secretary of her high school class than for vice president of a country. She has talked down to us, calling us "Walmart Mom's" "Joe Six Pack" "Hockey Moms" and so forth. I can't even consider voting for McCain simply because of Palin.

Are we all forgetting WHY our gov't was developed?? FOR PROTECTION/SECURITY !! That is our gov't's FIRST AND FOREMOST job. health care, education, etc those are all perks to living in a safe country.. we can work on the perks (even though they are necessary) once we are secure... if we are not safe and secure, as a country, you are not going to be worrying if you are wearing cute jeans, made the football team or even have chronic headaches. Your going to be more focused on 'what member of my family died today'...wake up America...

A poster here with the handle, ":libswillsellusout," has posted the same comment over and over again while responding to those that disagree with him by challenging them to refute his assertions along with evidence that their refutations are backed by authoritative sources. Interestingly enough, this party provides absolutely no authoritative sources for his assertions. If you believe that what you have posted here is conventional wisdom so widely accepted as to need no documentary sources, I think you are probably quite wrong. Therefore, assuming for the sake of argument that John McCain wins the presidential election with fifty five percent of the vote, either the forty five percent who voted for Obama must either be idiots or in the alternative traitors to their country or both. I doubt there is much truth in that premise. God bless America and save us from intolerance.

Can a McCain and Palin supporter explain to me why Sarah and Todd Palin associate with a radical Alaskan secessionist group? Better yet, why aren't FOX and CNN reporting about?

How could anybody other than a left wing nutjob vote for a man who kicked off his political career in a domestic terrorists living room, and attended an anti-american church with racial views to boot. It is really a misconception that all black people are voting for Obama solely on the basis of his color. There are several black people who have supported Clintons, John Kerry, and even Al Gore, which are clearly not of the ethnic persuasion. Why can it be just the fact that black people are connecting with the message being stated as opposed the color of the skin. It would be so much easier if we were all one color, but then again most white americans have to have someone to hate or dislike, if we were all one color, I'm sure it would be the fair haired against the dark haired or blue eyes,vs brown eyes, just food for thought..

People should be afraid of the McCain/Palin ticket due to the undisclosed info of McCain's health and what about Palin? We have not ever heard of her until McCain put her on the ticket. She has her dirty laundry of her own. Let us not forget that she does have a newborn child. Heaven forbid that something happens to McCain and she takes over. Picture this, if she took over and the world had a crisis and heaven forbid, somethin happend to her child, who will she choose? As a parent, my family comes first. Wake up people! For years, these guys have been running and made lots of promises no matter who was in charge and look where we at now. Some of you may as well confess that you have a problem with an african-american running. Stop attacking like McCain/Pain and get with the important matters. What is going to happen if Obama is YOUR president? Grow up and VOTE !
