My vote goes to the constitutional lawyer that will ptotect our rights as Americans. We have witnessed the blatant disrespect for the constitution under the current ad ministration. Our rights are being eroded under the polotics of fear. It's similar to what happened during McCartheyism. We are willing to be over policed if we think it will make us safer. We don't even know for sure how much of the threat we hear about is real. That's what scares me.

Obama is getting rid of the tax cut George Bush gave to the rich and corporations. He is raising them to a level above Bill Clinton, but the same as Ronald Reagan...who brought us Reaganomics of course.

Conservatives are afraid of tax and spend from Democrats but Bill Clinton gave us surplus and a booming economy. The fact is what Obama is not redistribuition of wealth. He is simply not allowing the rich and corporate power to not pay their fair share of the money. IF conservatives are so good at handling the economy, then explian the current econmic criss, the national debt and deficit? Republicans like Busha dn deregulating McCain did this.

all you Obama fear mongers are right, lets keep the same republican machine in power that we have had for the past 8yrs. and whats even more intelligent? given McCain's age and health ( he won't release his health records w/info on his bouts w/cancer) we're looking at Palin as president of the United States. To Melstheone, I can tell you are a intelligent and caring person. Nothing I posted should be taken personal. I know that this whole thing is just alot of people with very different political beliefs letting off steam. It is nice to spar with you on this post, if not for this I would probably go crazy listening to all this poltical stuff and not having a release. I am normally a staunch Republican, but the past 8 years of President Bush and 6 years of a Republican house has left us bankrupt in every way. The economy is horrible, coruption is running wild, we are in a war that will never end, our deficit is in record teritory, our world standing is at its lowest level ever, and we in the middle class have lost our hard earned savings. Why in the world should I cast my vote for the party that has put us in this mess. I can't believe I'm even saying this, but I'm going to vote Democratic this time. This may be the only vote they get from me. But, I want to protest the Republican party and I want them to understand that they have let America down.

After 8 years of a truly failed administration, I can't believe there are still seemingly intelligent people out there that would give the republican party another 4 years. Haven't they done enough damage? Is it any wonder you don't see Bush out there throwing his support behind the current republican't ticket? And how about the real president, Dick Chaney, when was the last time he did anything in public other than his heart having another episode? Haliburton??? They were smart enough to move their headquarters to Dubai from Texas so when the next administration is in place, we won't be able to touch them. Billions of American dollars gone, poof, and you're worried about redistribution of wealth. Have any of you M/P supporters actually seen the tax distribution figures O'bama proposes??? Your talking about the top tax rate of 33% going to 36%. Are you kidding me, your being led around by the nose over the wealthiest people being taxed another 3%. Your candidates have nothing new to offer, so they fill the air with propoganda and BS. O'bama/Biden represent a new approach, change, and change we definitely need.

I don't care for either candidate. I'm tired of the two-party monopoly in Washington. I'm voting third party this time. A third-party almost certainly won't win, but if third-party candidates steal enough votes, it will definitely send a message to the major parties that their days are numbered. If you want real change, look to third parties. They are the ones who brought the end of slavery and suffrage, among other positive changes.
