McCain - RICH at over $100 million in income, yet still collecting social security - he didn't think to exempt himself! Amazing.

I think that's OUTRAGEOUS. And he wants to TAX US ON OUR EMPLOYER-CO-PAID MEDICAL BENEFITS - yet he accuses Obama of high taxes... HE doesn't want Obama to win - he might have to pay more taxes HIMSELF -- along with the Bushes, another ELITIST FAMILY, worth in the HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS through their lucrative ties to the Saudi Royals, Big Oil (and little oil) and Wall Street. Did you know that W's grandpappy was the Wall Street banker/financier for ADOLF HITLER's REGIME - he managed the money of German financier Thiessen, who bankrolled Hitler. It's a little known fact about the Bush Family - that illustrious bastion of Republican Ivory Tower Luxe.

Their ELITISM goes FAR BEYOND ANYTHING most of us could ever imagine experiencing in 1000 lifetimes. There is no comparison to Obama. He barely makes the upper middle class "cut" according to McCain, who says $5 million is "rich" -- that would mean Clintons made the cut, but Obamas didn't yet (at $4million in income).

The SCUM ALWAYS RISES TO THE TOP - but by attacking Obama for the very same weaknesses in your own closet, McCain, perhaps you've unwittingly opened a huge CAN OF WORMS.

Maybe the media can find out how much you've stashed away on the side - unreported income -- from the Keating Five days? Maybe the Feds will investigate if a Democrat wins for the next Administration. Maybe that's why you're so scared.

Obama is the Manchurian candidate... BARACK HUSSEIN OSAMA is a terrorist and will kill all Americans. Why vote for this MUSLIM... He is Al-Queida Cell living in America!

Funny now that Bush Jr's in the White House these last 8 years, suddenly we've got another MAJOR BANKING / MORTGAGE CRISIS on our hands. Doesn't it remind you of the old 1980s S&L Crisis that Neal Bush, John McCain and the Keating Five were involved in? Is this some kind of coincidence, or is the Bush family at it again - stoking up their already amazing hundreds of millions in income at the expense of the American taxpayer, the average joe, the middle class home owner...

How much money do these Conservative Elitists need to fuel their greed? Boy, give me a "celebrity" like Obama any day of the week - at least he's not completely CROOKED and a proven criminal like some of the Bushes and McCain - how much money was McCain able to stash away secretly during the 1980s??? We'll never know, I guess. How convenient for the rich rulers of Wall Street that are the Bushes, the McCains, and their wannabes and sycophants, that McCrass Class of Bourgeois Bigots who belong to the Country Club Crowd of Tassled Loafers (no pun intended!!! hahaha)

Senator Obama tried again to distance himself from Mr. Ayers. "The Mr. Ayers portrayed by Fox News is not the Mr. Ayers that I got to know while living in Hyde Park. I did not know, and still have trouble believing, that he is an "unrepentant terrorist." When he told me that he was sorry about his terrorist activites and I thought he was being remorceful. I did not know that he meant that he was sorry he had not hurt more people. When he told me, in crowded restaurant near Wrigley Field, that he had tried to blow the Capital, I sought he had said that he had tried to blow DeCaprio, a mutual friend." The candidate concluded by saying: " I hope that Americans do not judge me by my past, some of them remote, associations. I guess I have relied too much on the kindness of strangers. This campaing is turning into a long days journey into the night.

Do you ever diss Mccain? I mean you spread all of these half truths and lies about Barack Obama and never a bad word about Mccain I think you lie and are not really voting for Nader! If you were you would be dissing both candidates just as Nader does. You are a phony!

If this isn't one of the greatest moments in America. Obama/Biden. I am so happy that the focus is on Obama and not on McCain and his smear tactics. Found out that McCain is so rich and is getting social security. He does not belong in the White House.

    Obama/Biden 08!

Everyone! Just shut up.... please! You are all liberals, and according to history, you are always supressed by the man (Bush). God, I love America! Liberal idiots unite... a vote for McCain is a vote for Bush. And, a vote for Obama, is a vote for Osama. Yes!

  • Posted By: NewsWkDickG @ 08/22/2008 9:54:52 PM

It is virtually impossible to rationally deny that the Bush administration, with the full support of the Republican Party, has been arrogantly and irresponsibly giving only apathy, the costs and subterfuge to the American people while they have focused on providing benefit to Special Interests and a select few (including themselves) and that their only defense depends on their ability to sell everyone garbage and BS, which simply explains their current total concentration on garbage and BS instead of the issues. It worked in 2000 and 2004 and they are aggressively trying to do it again. If we accept, deny or ignore it, then we may just be stuck with more of the same and once again simply be victims!

The choice of Bayh is very very smart. Good looking, clean cut white guy. Guaranteed to reassure crackers that Obama is not so radical. It almost certainly guarantees Indiana. Threatens to put Michigan in the likely column. Does not do much for Pennsylvannia, Ohio, and Florida though. Now it is McCain's turn. Will he pick Romney? Puts Michigan back in his column, but what about the guy being a Mormon? Not a problem. Donnie and Marie are Mormons.

Bill Ayers garentees americans understand Obama has this "thing" for violent radicals!
Bill Ayers sought to bring the violence of South east asia to the streets of America and shut everything down.
They had a slogan when not engaged in homosexual orgies: "Bring the war home!" From a message sent to a san fransisco radio station... " Hello. I'm going to read a declaration of war...
Within the next 14 days we will attack a symbol or institution of American injustice." -Bernardine Dohrn.

And then the bombings, prison breaks and violent demonstrations began!
And from them nothing productive of constructive occured!

Why do I support Nader? Here is why. Let's us first compare him to Obama. Nader is humble. Not grandiose. Nader does not pretend to be someone he is not. He does not flip flop. He is on the left, but is not radical. What you see is what you get. Compared to McCain, Nader cares about the little guy. No ties to special interests. Understands the needs of the American workers. He is an outsider. McCain is an insider. Nader is a pacifist.

  • Posted By: Driver of wagons @ 08/22/2008 7:55:34 PM

Okay marti start telling us why you think Nader would be able to get anything accomplished

  • Posted By: josemarti @ 08/22/2008 6:40:29 PM

Barry. I am glad you followed my advise (advice) and picked Bayh. Now for the hard part. Convincing Americans that he is the one running for President.

Mrs. McCain was again awakened by her husband, who, having refused to take his antipsychotic earlier that evening, was again sundowning and hallucinating.. She found him wandering aimlessly in the backyard of one their many homes yelling: No. Michelle. No . Put down that tire. No. Police. Police.

Claimed Iraq Was the First Major Conflict Since 9/11 - In an interview with Katie Couric, McCain seems to have forgotten the war in Afghanistan, or at least he thought it wasn't "major" enough. "The fact is we had four years of failed policy. We were losing. We were losing the war in Iraq. The consequences of failure and defeat of the United States of America in the first major conflict since 9/11 would have had devastating impacts throughout the region and the world." Note the initial reference to Iraq- McCain wasn't talking about Afghanistan and simply misspoke. It's indicative of the mindset not just of McCain, but of the Bush Administration's own overlooking of the conflict in Afghanistan while preparing to divert resources to pursue a new, unrelated action in Iraq. Moreover, it's a sad skimming-over of the sacrifice there. To date, more than 500 US soldiers have bravely given their lives there. To say it's not a major conflict is a travesty.

It is without question foreign policy blunders are John Mccain's strong point of consistency

What WAS McCain's role in the S&L banking scandal??? Is there any connection to two BUSHES being in the White House at times when our country's BANKING SYSTEM is buckling??? Duh gee, I wonder. Maybe the Bushes and the McCains are at it again - finegling behind the scenes for their own private gain. Could that possibly be happening? Could these upright Republicans actually be criminals?????

I pose the question because I don't see anybody connecting the dots in the media - probably scared to death the Bushes will ruin their careers like they did Dan RAther's when he investigated BUsh Jr.'s draft dodging days during his alleged stint in the National Guard or whatever he was supposedly doing during his stoner days in the 1970s.

You know may not know anything about Bush's military service. Why don't you do some home work and inform yourself on the matter.

This will get you started but it will be just a start you will have to do the rest of the research yourself.
hell I shouldn't even give you this and just let you hang there, all by yourself.

I have to question the integerity of Newsweek, and their so-called 'un-biased' reporting:

1st) "Brooks Jackson a liberal think tank type has used Fact Check to defend Barack Obama from what he calls ???mispresentations??? of Obama???s tax proposals. Now he takes his case to Newsweek."

    See Link: http://macsmind.com/wordpress/2008/08/10/the-only-fact-you-need-to-know-about-obamas-tax-plan/

    Note: Brooks Jackson owns/operates factcheck.org

2nd) "MSNBC tab on Newsweek's website. It's just one big incestuous news family spawned by George Soros. George Soros, Huffington Post, Moveon.org, MSNBC, Newseek, Daily Kos, Media Matters, all there to push forward the agenda of George Soros. It's just part of the same old, same old, MSNBC, Newsweek, George Soros, Huffington Post, not there to post the real news, just the news that fits their own agenda."

    See Link: http://caucuscheating.blogspot.com/2008/06/newsweek-or-is-it-newstweak-joins.html

Note: George Soros is a billion-aire that is so far left he fell off the planet.

Newsweek to me is more like the National Enquire -- whom btw, has done a better job at unbiased reporting than Newsweek has. I guess the mainsteam media will go on pushing their agenda: Get Obama Elected... at whatever cost to their integrity.

This is exactly what "ROVEBOTICS" is all about.

Attack your opponent on his strongest points and your weakist points. The low-informed masses will rally to your side every time and the well informed masses who support "ROVEBOTICS" will call it just presidential politics. It doesn't matter how you win or who you screw over (The American people in this case) just so you win and you keep the sameness going strong. It is the low road in which John McCain travels.

In debate with the public belief (if one cares to really study his political life) it is a road well traveled for him in which McCain knows every road sign as if they are old reliable friends which McCain has come to know by fequenting this path all to often. The only way McCain will win this election is if he stays on this low road because he has nothing else going for him. Mccain can't even speak for his own campaign because he does not own it. the "Rovian Cult" owns it just as they have owned our country for the last eight years.

This is not a new road for him this is his Genre.

    • Posted By: Democrats are Bad for America @ 08/22/2008 5:17:37 AM

Say what you will about Rove, but he whipped your a**es for eight years. Is that why you hate him so much, because he is smarter than you? More in tune with the American public than you? Maybe not as self-centric as you?

      • Posted By: Driver of wagons @ 08/22/2008 4:22:40 PM

You don't even have clue! Is all you have is Carl Rove to brag about. Then you have nothing. Just because you win doesn't mean you are right and the shape that our country is in right now bears that truth out. You are a fool in your own skin just like the rest of the "ROVEBOTS" You can't win anything by honest competition so you lie and cheat, legalize thievery and promote and sell it to the masses as belief. Don't you get tired of having your strings yanked at all of the time? Well,....i guess not since you still believe that Carl Rove (Teenie Weenie) is a patriot. What a moroon you are(And I mean Maroon not Moron although that would fit just as well).

loriw, it is proven that Obama's tax plan will help the middle class and the poor. I'm sorry that your rich and you will have to pay more on your taxes. Remember the flip-flop that McCain said, raising taxes is a thought. So, I think if you want to see America grow like it did with Bill Clinton, then your best bet is Obama.

RE:"it is proven that Obama's tax plan will help the middle class and the poor"
Nothing is proven until it is "tested" out. And considering Obama is going to lose BIG, we will never know if his so called tax plan would have worked.

Sorry that you feel that way. Since America just learned to day that McCain is richer then you and your entire family, I think America will see that McCain is out of touch.
