Democratic Strategy to date: call him McBush or McSame
It seemed like a smart move given the unpopularity of Bush, but it's not working.

f McBush has not lied and stuck to his promise of an honorable campaign the voters might believe he did not cheat. If McBush had not cheated on his first wife with Cindy we might believe he is not a cheating adulterer. If McBush did not use his father's influence to get in the Naval academy and flight school he would have some credibility. If McBush did not steal his cross in the sand story from his favorite author we would believe he did not cheat at the forum. If McBush did not get into congress funded by Keating we would thing he was a man of honor. McBush even tried to cheat us into thinking he would be an Admiral when basically he left the Navy a week after his father died because he did not have his father to cover up for him anymore. If McBush had authored his own legislation instead of grandstanding by standing on the shoulders of the great Democratic legislators like Teddy Kennedy. If McBush was not wholly owned by corporate lobbyists and flip flop just to get oil money contributions he would be believable. McBush has gotten by his whole life through self promotion, sanctimony and cheating. Now we are supposed to believe his word. Fat chance grandpa.

But this is the same scurrilous tactics that got us 8 years of Bush. I am thoroughly convinced that Republicans are against any real educational reform because ignorant voters are their bread and butter.

The choice is clear this election by an answer to one question during the Saddleback forum.

The most telling answers to me were the answers to the question about evil. McBush was nationalistic and sees evil only in other countries like the US has some evil exemption. While Obama was humble and recognized evil was everywhere. Obama knew he was only God's servant and that we can only combat evil and only God can defeat evil. Obama also recognized that you cannot combat evil by doing evil things like using torture. While McBush had the presumptuousness and arrogance that he could defeat evil. McBush did not even know that the Bible says God is the only one who can defeat evil.

Ah, partisanship again rears its ugly head and the Republofacists bow to its rampant idiocy. (My Party, right or wrong. Hmm, mostly wrong, I think.) The simple truth is that the GOP is gulty of lies, distortions and outright slander. Witness that bucket of vomit written by that vicious, racist hatemonger Corsi and bankrolled by the Republican Party. Slander, pure and simple and in a civilized nation that man would be fined and in jail within hours.

Unfortunately, this is not a civilized nation. Our three branches of government are stuffed with thieves, liars and sexual psychopaths. Electing McCain would be simply allowing more of the same monstrousness to continue. And you, Mr spk2moi, would clap your hands in childish glee and anticipate more dollars rolling in to your own bank account.

The parallels between the Republican Party and the National Socialist Party of Germany in the '30's have been delineated before and I shall not belabor the point. The same arguments, the same empty logic and the very same vile, twisted rhetoric. But this time, the news media is considerably more observant and considerably less inclined to be cowed by carrion eaters such as yourself and the criminals you admire. We're on to you, Mr. spk2moi, and THAT's why you and your slimy ilk claim a 'liberal bias' in the media. You don't like it when the cold, hard light of Truth shines on your various crimes and misdemeanors and eventually you too will make enough mistakes to wind up in jail, preferably next to a three hundred pound psychotic crackhead who would just love to make you his best friend.

Enjoy what little time you have left, counting your ill-gotten gains and gloating over your cheap victories. (How much satisfaction can there really be at seeing elderly people starve or die from lack of proper medical care or witnessing children grow up ignorant and deprived? Quite a lot, apparently.) The difference this time, is that you can't have us all shot or jailed for telling the truth. The truth is the truth, no matter how much you despise it or how inconvenient you find it.

If you want to maintain that Democrats, and particularly Obama, don't and aren't going negative, well, it's just one more falsehood the MSM is trying to peddle. The problem with the MSM and all their (your) twisted logic is, that we, the American people are watching, and can see the truth. Obama never opens his mouth without slamming McCain and his plan. He mischaracterizes McCain all the time. But you don't see it. You're Dem-blind!! As are all the rest of em. Now, when November comes, and AGAIN, all you media idiots are left shaking your heads, will you decide to look at your lens you see things through, and get it adjusted? Nope. I dont know who McCain is sneering and pointing at but considering the Condi article she must have been pointing directly into the face of Putin.

So concerned about their inability for The Commander-In-Everything to take any action towards Putin in the Georgian invasion that desperation has them substituting graphics for lack of action.

In studying the McCain pose if you cant see the betrayal in his facial features that this merely IS a pose you will probably lose your license to practice physiognomy.

Alter is in the tank for Obama. Shocker. Like Obama calling McCain "Bush" is substantive, or lying by claiming McCain had tried to scare people about race, or distorting McCain's comments on 100 years in Iraq. The fact of the matter is both candidates call out the others hypocrisies. When reporters like Alter are in the tank for Obama, it's the only way to get to a substantive discussion rather then hear "hope" and "change" ranted about ad nauseum.

Good thing Jesse Jackson didn't actually cut out Obama's n**s. What would Johathan Alter have to suckle if he had?

Point of fact: Oil companies are recently donating to McCain over Obama by a 3:1 margin. That should tell you something. Michaelpo cites a single bill. There has been more than one bill related to energy in the last 4 years. As for the Keating Five: McCain intervened on behalf of Charles Keating after Keating gave McCain at least $112,00 in contributions. In the mid-1980s, McCain made at least 9 trips on Keating's airplanes, and 3 of those were to Keating's luxurious retreat in the Bahamas. McCain's wife and father-in-law also were the largest investors (at $350,000) in a Keating shopping center; the Phoenix New Times called it a "sweetheart deal." Not pocketing any money? You be the judge...

Like Bush, he doesn???t do his homework, so will prove incompetent: How did he get so near the bottom of his college class? He???s an enemy of the environment and wants to obstruct your right to health insurance and social security in retirement. Does not respect women or their rights. He doesn???t support veterans: Look at his voting record, my friend. Crashing five planes doesn???t make for a great Navy career, nor fitness to be president. He???s high risk to get involved in a sex scandal i the White House: A habitual adulterer. He???s maliciously ill-tempered: Can you trust a leader so instinctually foul of character and vengeful? He will be the Bush third term, but with a vengeance.
