Comment: Since when has having a vehicle been a part of college life? The only time anybody used one where I went to school was to leave campus. Almost nobody drove a car to class as there really wasn't anywhere to park. Students either walked or biked. And that was with gas at 79c/gallon.

Comment: Hello, Electric powered scooters are better than gas in EVERy way. IT's just that the gas scooter stores dont make any profit from all the repairs they get to make on the gas scooters. falconev

Comment: This is a great story. More people should get scooters. Scooters get in less accidents, are cheaper, get better gas mileage, have less of a repair bill, have cheaper insurance premiums, are better for the environment than cars. Simply put, they make sense.

Isn't it ironic: Xerox is hoping it can profit by teaching companies how to reduce their printing.
