    I must agree with you willnotvoteobama, people in the US need to look at what the next four years will bring to all of us no matter what race you are. I am for the poor, but I have no choice now in this matter to cast my vote for McCain. Actually I was like the others supporting Obama until I did a lot of research of him and his family. As far as Michille she is as fake as they come. Again watch the vedio I posted...speaking from a black man.....This should open some eyes. If in fact Obama should get elected all races, not just the whites will regreat it. ALL PLEASE WATCH THIS VEDIO....then you decide. Copy and paste it to your URL.

    Democrats have suddenly developed an interesting sense of morality. John Edwards has been banned from making a speech at the DemocraticConvention for having an affair and lying about it. Bill Clinton will be speaking in his place. and michelle's speech is so scripted that anyone could predict what was going to be said so much for being like you and me !! p.s. if they are like you and me then where the hell is my 4 million from last year ?

    Sen. Biden brings the learning from experience which diminishes the " live and never learn" career of Sen. McCain. Biden will never confuse shia from sunni, and will always remember how many houses he owns. He won't shoot first and ask questions later. He represents the real value of experience versus the fake value of seniority. McCain demonstrates that older is not necessarily wiser, and that even mild senility can be a dangerous thing. Biden proves that older and wiser are the natural result of reflection instead of reaction. Biden was a smart choice, and will help reveal the hothead and the airhead that are John McCain.

    Biden has accepted $5,133,072 in contributions from lawyers and lobbyists since 2003. Obama does not accept contributions from federally registered lobbyists.

    And he has one other weakness that hasn???t received much attention to date. One of Biden???s sons, Hunter, is a registered Washington lobbyist in a year in which Obama has been excoriating lobbyists and the culture of corruption in Washington. The younger Biden is a name partner at the firm Oldaker, Biden & Belair, LLP, and seems to have specialized in lobbying for just the kind of earmark spending by Congress that Obama has vowed to slash. Republican insiders say the party is likely to make an issue of Biden???s family lobbying ties.

    Also expect to hear more about Biden???s close ties with credit card companies. His largest contributor (based on total contributions by employees) over the past five years has been MBNA, the Delaware-based bank aquired in 2005 by Bank of America than until then was the world???s largest independent credit card issuer and a major supporter of the 2005 bankruptcy bill that Biden crossed the aisle to support.

    Biden has served the people of Delaware very admirably. Having him as Obama's VP strengthens my vote for a Democratic ticket. If McCain wins, we are in for 4 more years of hell - like we have had since Bush the first. If McCain wins, I am considering leaving the states.

    Biden is an honorable man and I am pleased with the choice!

    I believe your are seeing the end of Obama's chances for this election. This is exactly what the Rove machine engineered. For a lot of people like me there simply is no acceptable choice in this election.

      You are correct, we don't have much of a choice in this election. I do soley believe IF Obama gets in the office the United States will ve as messed up as Iran and Iraq. If Obama can't hold his hand over his heart for our American flag, if his wife can make a statement on television, "This is the first time I can say I like the United States". I think there is more african americans voting for Obama because they want to see a black man sitting in the White House running our country. I believe the ones that will be voting for Obama will learn they had made a BIG mistake. They need to check more on his background, not the color of race, I am a white female and would have considered voting for Obama but I have done a lot of reseach and when he took the US American flag off of his plane and learned more of his background, where is father is from and where I know he is headed once and if he gets in the White house we all as Americans will be messed up, no matter what race ethics you are, please do more research on this man before voting in November, I'm not saying Mccain is the right one to vote for either, but he will have my vote and I as well as many people have passed emails through and through all over the United States and 99% of the people is voting for Mccain in my state. So far this includes, Arkansas, Missouri and Indiana. I use to live in Indiana and I've talked to many there and as they say and I will say GO MCCAIN!

      I completely with you. Bidne is a Great choice. He's smart, experienced, strong, decisive, and won't take any Crap. Oh... and he tell it like it is!! I like that. Obama is a hardworking, and didn't come with a silver spoon in his mouth. He worked hard to get to where he is. He is the American dream. He is what this country stands for, and he has worked hard to improve the lives of others. I trust him and I beleive in him as I do Biden. Together they Will bring about great change and bring this country back to what it once was. They will rebuild our reputation around the world, and will rebuild our economy.

    Biden is a very mediocre character, so is Obama. At least Obama was consistent in his choice! It does balance the ticket in terms of experience. But what happens to the change mantra by adding a Washington hack? The good news, of course, is that Hillary is completely vanquished! Now she can finally get on her broomstick and fly back to Oz! Good riddance.

    Another good point is that this pick will not give the empty suit Obama any bounce in the polls. Another factor is Biden's age. What is it exactly 65 or 67? I've read conflicting reports on that. The liberal media can't seem to get things straight. Either way he is not that much younger than McCain. So Obama's advantage over McCain on that point is dissipated by his vp pick.

    Obama made a big mistake in not picking Hillary for his VP. The news is that she wasn't even vetted for the position. He is so pompous and arrogant that he could not even show any respect for his opponent and her two million votes. That is going to cost him the election . Ignoring Michigan and Florida is also going to cost him.

In June, when Obama spoke in MN, he said that Hillary will be at the table for the healthcare....right there was the sign that she wasn't going to be VP.

      That is the most edited piece of footage I have seen of late. Nice try for a smear. I would appreciate seeing the whole speech because I bet it is worthwhile. A name does not denote whether someone is a Christian or what faith they are so that was just another smear attempt. There are many, many Christians in the White House and we still have problems so don't use religious beliefs to say who is fit to serve.
      Christians make fun of scripture every day by sinning and then asking for forgiveness. The BIble should guide our elected officials but it does not state foreign policy guidelines or how to save a lagging ecomomy.

    I have been an Obama advocate almost from the beginning. My second choice was Joe Biden until he dropped out of the primaries. I couldn't be happier than I am now to see this ticket, except to see this ticket in the White House in January!

          Sparky, lying is a human trait, and not one of our better ones, and ALL politicians "polish" their image up by lying or fabricating facts, so when you're dealing with this type of situation, its really a matter of which lier do you believe the most. And you don't make a bad situation better by lying yourself; I know you don't REALLY believe everyone who isn't of your party lives in a trailer, then in the next breath you insinuate Republicans are rich, now thats an oxymoron. The macro-strategy involves stripping Iran's loyalties away from the Russian-Chinese Axis in everything from energy to military alliances, and Biden's been a proponent of engaging (rather than attacking) Iran for years. Interestingly, Iranians will probably soon boot out THEIR loudmouth moron President Ahmadinejad for a much more nuanced, moderate and diplomatically astute Ali Larijani, who will almost certainly sit at the table with Brzezinski (Zbig and his son Ian), Biden, Obama and presumed Secretary of State, Bill Richardson. Stripping Iran away from Russia/China will be the geopolitical chess move equivalent of knocking out the other side's queen piece, all without firing a single shot. Biden is the type of guy who'd grease the wheels for such a move to take place, as the Iranians are increasingly open to a detente with the US.
