Give me a break on this Palin decision anyone with half a brain and their own opinion knows that McCain picked a candidate that is younger and a women to appeal to younger voters and Hillary's woman power voters. It is laughable that the republicans are trying to sell this farse, since when does being a member of the PTA, a mayor of +/-6,000 and a governor for 1.5 years qualify anyone to be VP. If people are satisfied with the current administration and the disarray it has wreaked on this country or you are currently among the wealthy elite in America getting your nice tax breaks, polluting the environment without a second thought then McSCain/Palin is your team. However if you are a middle to low income family that is ready for change that will involve tax breaks for working families, higher taxes for the wealthy, discontinued spending of $10 billion/month on a false war, alternative energy options, no old boy network or politics as usual, then Obama/Biden is the only choice! Don't take this decision lightly, your children's future and the future of many generations to come depends on it.

As far as Palin'e 'performance' last night it only proves that she can read a speech that has been prepared for her and deliver in the one liners (which unfortunatley has the feel of politics as usual), I believe she would be better suited for a comedy tour. I've heard how she of the people and that she has had a tough road, well felt sympathy or the concept of electing a president that someone would like to sit down with and have a beer does not qualify that given individual for the job at hand.

Sarah Palen says she can used to handling the good old boys club. it's evident she only handles them after she is ure her "good old boys" have tied them up and gagged them. She has only been nominated less than a week and is already screaming sexist and whinning about unfair coverage and she hasn't even been to one interview yet. This is the lady who called Hillary a "whinner" last spring. John McCain is using this woman to deflect any scrutiny people might be giving him over the next couple of months. Woman don't be fooled by "gidget", John McCain is the one who is running for president and the one we will have to live with if the wrong votes are cast.

Upon viewing Gov. Palin in her presentation last night, I reached a couple conclusions:
    a) congratulations to those speech writers - you have used your education well. The speech was well written - in terms of technically written (not as far as truth of content).
    b) if as a Vice resident you are looking for someone who reads very well, placing emphasis where needed, pausing to create effect - well then Gov. Palin did well.
Clearly then this is simply a case of saying what you are told to say - punctuated intermittently with a few personal 'anecdotes' and 'details' - but essentially the same rhetorate as a McCain speec - but I forget....it really was a McCain speech ...wasn't it!!!!
However, nothing that was said made me feel that this team would in any way lead differently to the existing team - and the fact remains that the US has never been in such a bad position. The people are hurting and are suffering - and this situation is getting worst. The US has lost favour internationally. What are the key differences in policy for governing this country, between the Bush administration - and a McCain administration? I keep looking and reading and listening....but I am not hearing.....

It is a sad day when someone who graduates 492nd out of 500 naval cadets in his class is trying to become the next president. Seems to fit the republican mold.

Its a sad day when a naval cadet graduates 492nd out of 500 classmates and is a presidential candidate and then shows his intellect by choosing a simpleton for VP.

Who Cares about Sarah Palin or McCain , Thanks to the Republicans Look at our Country Today. Bush has experience and look what he did. No Jobs , People lost their homes , The Republicans care about one thing Only , to get Richer. Republicans are so out of touch with American for Example look at Katrina in lousiana. Enough said. I Just think the American People are Smart enough to say we have seen it all in the Last 8 Years why put up with 4 More Years. It's a No Brainer. Obama will be President. Americans are just sick and Tired and need a Change.
