    Yeah, right. Same factcheck.org that never found truth in the rumor that Obama was associated with any radical black preachers -- until the Rev. Wright videos broke on ABC news. These videos were, by the way, being reported on FoxNews and elsewhere for over a year, and were easily verifiable, before mainstream media outlet covered it. The same factcheck.org that didn't see anything in the Edwards scandal.

    this so ridiculous, seriously, they're both rich and successful, but McShameless married well and Obama used his talent, vision and creativity (all valuable assets more important than shacking up with a sugar mama - while still married by the way) in writing that book and getting royalties. Whats the big deal? Elitist? come on, you act as if McCain hasn't rubbed elbows with millionaires for DECADES.

    IS OBAMA A VIRGIN OR A TRAMP?

    If I supported a candidate and he or she began lying and flip-flopping like Obama, I'd be out of there, pronto. Especially, when the whole premise of his candidacy was that he was a "different" kind of politician; an honest politician for "change" in Washington. The whole fraudulent nature of his campaign makes it even worse for me. It's kind of like having a girlfriend who makes a point of telling you that she is a virgin; then you find out she slept with the whole football team. Obama is the politician who pretended to be a "virgin," but turned out to be only a tramp.

    C'mon. This ad is well within the bounds of political discourse. Obama helped Rezko get a housing project and befriended him in other ways. Then Obama clearly got help from the guy -- a known fixer and power broker -- and his wife in buying his house through some "creative financing." He never has satisfactorily answered how it was that the deal came down.

      Would anybody here not want to get the best deal possible when buying a new house? Senator Obama purchased his house legally. Senator Obama and Micelle paid fair market value for their house. Take a good look at old McCain.....he has flipflopped on at least 100 issues, cannot remember voting for certain bills, cannot remember how many houses he owns, cannot remember Checkoslovia is no longer a country, cannot remember Pakistan borders Afghanistan and NOT Iraq, believes Mr. Putin is the President of Germany, and on and on. I am not so sure mcCain FORGETS as much as I believe he simply DOES NOT KNOW THE FACTS OVERSEAS OR HERE T HOME!! The man is a study in deceit, fraud, and selfishness!!     Obama, in your autobiography, you admit to using marijuana and cocaine in high school and college. Yet you largely support the federal drug war ??? a change from several years ago when you said you'd be open to decriminalizing marijuana. Would Barack Obama be where he is today if he had been arrested in college for using drugs? Doesn't the fact that you and our current president (who has all but admitted to prior drug use) have risen to such high stature suggest that the worst thing about illicit drugs is not the drugs themselves, but what the government will do to you if you're caught?

    Obama has recently made efforts to preemptively blunt discussion of the race issue, warning that his critics will highlight the fact that he is African American. Yet the question of race plays so large a role in Obama???s own thought and action that it is all but impossible to discuss his political trajectory without acknowledging the extent to which it engrosses him.

    In 2004, a U.S. District Court disallowed the ordinance under which Chicago required the use of at least 25 percent minority business enterprises and 5 percent women???s business enterprises on city-funded projects. In the immediate aftermath of the ruling, Obama and Jesse Jackson were among the prominent voices calling for a black leadership summit to plot strategy for a restoration of Chicago???s construction quotas. Obama and his allies succeeded in bringing back race-based contracting.

    No Hispanics Encroaching in Black Areas

    When the 2000 census revealed dramatic growth in Chicago???s Hispanic and Asian populations alongside a decline in the number of African Americans, the Illinois black caucus was alarmed at the prospect that the number of blacks in the Illinois General Assembly might decline. At that point, Obama stepped to the forefront of the effort to preserve as many black seats as possible.

    The Defender quotes Obama as saying that,???while everyone agrees that the Hispanic population has grown, they cannot expand by taking African-American seats.???

    Barack Obama has been busy, of late, changing position after position, in an effort to fashion a new image before the American people. And, true to form, he has the ???Audacity to Hope??? that the American public is too uninformed to recognize what has become increasingly obvious; that his only core conviction, is to gain access to the power of the Presidency. And, it has become increasingly evident throughout his campaign, that he will do anything, say anything, change any position, and jettison any friend or supporter, in order to gain that power.

    The Fraudulent One is secure in the knowledge that his lemmings will blindly and obediently support his every move. They will gallantly argue for any position he holds, and when he changes that position, they will argue, just as vociferously, for that new position. Bud sadly, for the Fraudulent One, he knows that his lemmings are not enough in number to secure his election, and deliver to him the power he so ravenously craves. So, the Fraudulent One knows he must now con the great sea of ???undecideds??? into believing that he is a centrist; that he is ???one of them??? -- hence his recent ???move to the center,??? which is actually more of a temporary and politically expedient ???detour,??? than a real change of character or positions.       There is certainly a minority of people, like MXYZPTLK, for whom the truth and "vetting" wouldn't matter. I find the simple contrasts of character between McCain's negative, bitter, out of touch, and outdated political attitude and Obama's energizing, grassroots, engaging and open approach to governing. My pastor always taught me that at God's table, everyone is invited. At McCain's table there is a $5 million entry fee and the good of the few well off take precedence over the needs of the many hardworking families. It's a simple fact reported in the LA Times that most Americans have the most to gain financially for their families if they vote for Obama.     Could Newsweek be any more in the tank for Obama. "There's no evidence of any connection to the Obama purchase"? You have got to be kidding.

    Obama on Rezko: (1) At the debate when Hillary brought him up, he said his contact with him was only 4 or 5 hours working as a lawyer on a case; (2) Then, when it comes out that he knew him for 17 years, and Rezko was a huge contributor, he said Rezko had contributed around $60,000 to his campaigns; (3) Then with more scrutiny on the case and Rezko's indictment, he says maybe it was more like $160,000; (4) Then, in his interview with the Chicago Sun-Times, he remembered that it was more like $250,000. This is the agent of "change?"

    OBAMA IS A LYING PIECE OF ****. He lied about Rezko, he was just caught lying about his role in stopping a bill aimed at protecting live babies from being killed; the man does not know how to tell the truth. Only a fool would believe Obama at this point. .

Although MLK had done many, many good things McCain did not think he should have a holiday named after MLK, so he voted against it, he also voted against funds to initiate this holiday!! It is undeniable that Barack Obama has risen from obscurity to being a presidential candidate by allying himself to the Chicago Democratic machine and Tony Rezko, a felon. The junior senator from Illinois is just an example of the old politics, not the bearer of a new politics.

    Republican anti-gay activist Earl ???Butch??? Kimmerling of Anderson, Indiana was sentenced to 40 years in prison for molesting an 8-year old girl after he attempted to stop a gay couple from adopting her.

    Republican Party leader Paul Ingram of Thurston County, Washington pled guilty to six counts of raping his daughters and served 14 years in federal prison.

    Republican election board official Kevin Coan of St. Louis, Missouri was sentenced to two years probation for soliciting sex over the internet from a 14-year old girl.

    Republican politician Andrew Buhr, also of St. Louis, was charged with two counts of first degree sodomy with a 13-year old boy.

    Republican politician Keith Westmoreland of Kingsport, Tennessee was arrested on seven felony counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition to girls under the age of 16 (i.e. exposing himself to children).

    Republican anti-abortion activist John Allen Burt of Pensacola, Florida was found guilty of molesting a 15-year old girl.

    Republican County Councilman Keola Childs of Hawaii County, Hawaii pled guilty to molesting a male child.

    Republican activist John Butler of Cass County, Illinois was charged with criminal sexual assault on a teenage girl.

    Republican candidate Richard Gardner of Clark County, Nevada admitted to molesting his two daughters.

    Republican Councilman and former Marine Jack W. Gardner of Lancaster, Pennsylvania was convicted of molesting a 13-year old girl.

    Republican County Commissioner Merrill Robert Barter of Boothbay, Maine pled guilty to unlawful sexual contact and assault on a teenage boy.

    Republican City Councilman Fred C. Smeltzer, Jr. of Wrightsville Borough, Delaware pled no contest to raping a 15 year-old girl and served 6-months in prison.

    Republican activist Parker J. Bena pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography on his home computer and was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison and fined $18,000.

    Republican parole board officer and former Colorado state representative, Larry Jack Schwarz, was fired after child pornography was found in his possession.
