Hey cm4297....you dummy...Trinity United where Barack Hussein Obama attended for the last 20 years is not a Christian church you nutbar.
Trinity United is nothing more than a gathering place for extremist , hate mongering Black Liberation Theology , racist rants and heckling. Obama says he saw " Jesus Christ " for the first time in his life at Trinity United and he said that makes him a Christian....pleeeeze !!
Barack Hussein Obama is nothing more than a phoney , racist , radical , double-talking , flip-flopping , baby killer , Muslim wannabe a Christian, scum bag from Chicago who won't be President..not in a million years.

John McCain......your next President of the United States of America !!

Wake up to the new world of 21st century. Gone are the days of racism and hatred. Just take a trip outside your enclave and see how the world has changed. You still live in the past. The world is a global village.

        • Posted By: Ciramot @ 08/23/2008 10:26:09 AM

Isn't that like the new world order. Bahahahahaha

      • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 08/23/2008 10:21:55 AM

You are the guy above talking about "rednecks" right? I guess it really does take a Bigot to know one afterall

      • Posted By: toobad4us @ 08/23/2008 10:00:10 AM

Sorry, I can't figure out which one you are talking about.

    • Posted By: clife @ 08/23/2008 9:34:51 AM

I am not surprised at your comment. It's nothing short of racism. You have have to grow up. This is 21st century. The world is a global village so when you travel outside your enclave your eyes will be "wide open" and I bet you you will see clearly, marvel at God's creation and love everybody.

      • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 08/23/2008 10:18:56 AM

Racism? Please explain what was racist about calling Trinity a racist church. Was it he used the term black? I don't see anything racist in his comments, unless of course, talking badly about a person is considered racist in your book. My definition would have been talking badly about a persons race. Please take note of the "rednecks" comments by a poster above. Would you consider that person a racist too?

      • Posted By: Braes @ 08/23/2008 9:40:42 AM

No he won't. Your faith is not well founded here. There are some people who desperately defy grace.

  • Posted By: Passasw @ 08/23/2008 9:46:27 AM

"Change you can believe in"? I'm sure that Biden with 30 years of professional political experience will help him change his buddies in the Senate and his buddy lobbyists.

    • Posted By: Braes @ 08/23/2008 9:55:47 AM

Jack Abrahamof for you on line 2 there scandal peddler.

      • Posted By: toobad4us @ 08/23/2008 10:25:27 AM

I haven't hugged either of them but I haven't panhandled them either. Maybe if you stick your hand out a little further it will get lopped off by the ruler of some middle eastern country after Obama sits down to talk nice with them.

    • Posted By: Braes @ 08/23/2008 9:57:09 AM

Have you hugged your ENRON today? How is your Halliburton doing?

  • Posted By: Ujima333 @ 08/23/2008 10:25:20 AM

Great pick! The only pick better would have been Hilliary. The win will be closer now, but we'll pull it out.

  • Posted By: Ujima333 @ 08/23/2008 10:24:12 AM

Great safe pick. I wish that it was Hilliary, but this is the best pick. You can get without Hilliary being on the ticket. The win will be close now, but we'l still be able to pull it off.

  • Posted By: Grandma B @ 08/23/2008 9:23:55 AM

Bad move. I like Biden. Just shows how much of a puppet Obama is for whoever is pulling the his strings. Kick in the teeth to women. This is not a talk show and the Obama camp is treating it as such. Which is why his numbers are falling.

    • Posted By: Braes @ 08/23/2008 9:31:43 AM

Wow a republican crossdresser. You aren''t Really a granny are you? Where is little Red Riding Hood?
      Are you the wolf?

  • Posted By: giguy2001 @ 08/23/2008 10:23:36 AM

Quite interesting, especially since the presidential nominee is running on a platform of "change" from the usual Washington as usual politics!" Gee, is Biden the way to changing "politics as usual?"

  • Posted By: pugs @ 08/23/2008 10:23:29 AM

QUESTION FOR EVERYONE: we know what the country would like with Hillary as pres , we all have an idea what the country will look like with McCain as pres , but does nayone have any idea , really now, of what the country will be like with Obama as pres. What maybe like the Hospital at Chicago where we say we are for urban people only if they go back to their little clinics so they can take care of their upper scale patients. I am from a city Miami that has a hospital as big as Chicago's and what they did is just buy a second hospital to care for everyone, not turn people away.

The politics of the veep pick---and what HF brings to be SICK...

  • Posted By: Pepper Fox @ 08/23/2008 10:22:47 AM

so much for change................. Looks to me Obama is right back to the old ways of DC politics. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

  • Posted By: scioscia @ 08/23/2008 10:22:20 AM

Great choice. Biden is strong. He balances Obama's relative inexperience. This is a ticket that could win, and once in could actually accomplish things in Washington.
I'm shocked at the selfish petulance of fellow democrats who are still so peeved at Obama that they will not vote or will vote for McCain.

  • Posted By: bcunning @ 08/23/2008 7:55:04 AM

I love how Republicans call Obama a flip-flopper. Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEtZlR3zp4c&feature=related

    • Posted By: Braes @ 08/23/2008 9:01:06 AM

McCain can't flip flop, he spins, Flipping takes too much time. He, like a weathervane, says whatever the town-hall wants to hear. He could take all sides of a cube in 2 sentences.

      • Posted By: Bob2008 @ 08/23/2008 9:37:33 AM

Like Biden ? "I mean, you got the first sorta mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," ; Obama is a nice guy, but inexperienced and NOT Ready to be President. Has Joe Biden flip flopped, or is he just spinning now that he supports Obama?

        • Posted By: Braes @ 08/23/2008 9:50:53 AM

Dunno, really. Don't care. I just think McCain is about 10 years too late with a run, and prefer a non-Bush government. The VP pick to me is limited, was not an Obama guy in the Primaries, but wouldn't vote for a warmonger with a draft plan, more oil monopoly, Rove/Atwater politics, etc.
To me, it's more about punishing the GOP and breaking them electorally for their past sins, than the current campaign or any supposed issues de-jour.

          • Posted By: Bob2008 @ 08/23/2008 10:22:10 AM

Well I certainly hope if it happens, congress will get started on the 100 day plan that never materialized.

      • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 08/23/2008 9:45:58 AM

And you can say str8 faced that Obama or any other politician running for office doesn't do the same? Mind if I get the next ride on your unicorn?

  • Posted By: Jill from Florida @ 08/23/2008 10:22:09 AM

Does Michael Dukakis and Lloyd Bentsen sound like deja vue?

What happened to the CHANGE candidate? He picked a Washington lifer, who voted FOR the Iraqi invasion, and has decades of experience. Joe Biden wanted John McCain to join him on a Unity Ticket for this election.

    HOW IRONIC!!

  • Posted By: mnfowler @ 08/23/2008 10:18:39 AM

"He knows foreign policy and defense issues of course, but in a textbook way." I thought he had experience. "He is a street politician who has walked the streets of the planet." Fineman, Robert Raymond chandler Heinlein called--he wants's his prose back.

Is Biden someone whose counsel is precious or is he not the sharpest knife in the drawer? Fineman's endorsement seems to stroke Biden with velvet and then smack him upside the noggin with a brick.

  • Posted By: Pukeobama @ 08/23/2008 10:00:51 AM

OK now someone please tell me one thing how on Gods earth does Obama think that Biden is going too change anything this oldfarts been around for 30 years or more and run for President 2 times and couldn't make it too half way and so for left he hurts now tell me this is change for the good of us all and Biden has voted for more of Bushs crap than anyone( this goes too show Obama needs too have someone too take him by his hand and lead him threw everything he does) like the old saying a lawer is the biggest crook and lier there is all you better stop and think with McCain at least he can't do much with the congress and senate Dem but is Obama gets in with Pelosi and Biden leading him by the hand god help us all

    • Posted By: Amma @ 08/23/2008 10:18:33 AM

You must have power to institute change. Biden has that. And, he has integrity. This is a winning ticket. And bottomline, we are not about proving points. We have to move America out of the mess that Bush has gotten us in. We have to compromise with each other and set an agenda that can move us all forward. This constant in-fighting and self-righteous indignation on the left and right stymies progress. We need to be real and look at how do we effect progressive change, other than in our heads.

I anticipate another four years of debt-escalating, price-inflating, nation-invading, scandal-bating, middle class hating, profit-taking GOPBS. By 2012 our country will be bankrupt. (i.e, the Govrnment's interest payments to other countries will exceed its Tax reveunes and we will have to borrow money to run the country) In other words, foreign nations will OWN the US. I wonder how they will split up the "Coat of Many Colors"?

Barack, you had one chance and you blew it....you're just another politician. But I'll still vote for you, for reasons listed above.

    • Posted By: Ciramot @ 08/23/2008 10:18:32 AM

Aren???t the Democrats up in arms about oil profits? Aren't the democrats wanting to "Nationalize" the oil industry? Aren't the democrats not able to define profit from profit margin, and convincing their sheeple that the oil companies are bad? Aren???t the oil companies paying more in taxes then over 50% of taxpayers anyhow? Aren't the Democrats going to raise taxes on middle class families to distribute wherever they see fit? Aren???t the democrats storing bribe money in their freezers?

OK. The last one could count for any party, since ALL politicians are corrupt (Name one who isn???t). However the democrats pander to special interest groups in order to destroy capitalism, and give out tax breaks for their support. If the oil companies are nationalized, think about where that money will go. Do you actually believe the price at the pump would go down? Ha. You would be giving money to a corrupt government to waste on Disastrous programs that are already failing. Throwing more money at the same problem is NOT going to solve anything. Obama wants a world poverty tax. We can???t take care of our own people, and he wants more money to go to other corrupt governments to take care of them? What is wrong with you¿ Yes McCain will continue the ???war on terror???, however even if Obama is elected the scheduled withdrawal date is still going to be the same???2011

But hey if you don???t feel like you???re paying enough in taxes why don???t you just give it to the government or charities and leave the rest of us alone. Proven fact Republicans give twice as much to charities then Democrats do. Democrats want to take (by force) your money, and Republicans seem to give to the needy as necessary.

We waste BILLIONS in taxes every year with the same results. We are growing more needy people with the deflating dollar and bridges to nowhere, then ever before. People aren???t driven to be self reliant or even personaly responsible. Do you ever listen to Obamas speeches? He tells you he???s going to take your money and distribute it to others who WILL NOT (not cannot) take responsibility for themselves. If that???s who you want, then by all means go vote for him. I disagree with 30%-40% of McCains policies. But I disagree with Obama 80%-90%.

Why can???t we have a valuable 3rd party? Like the constitution party or the libertarian party? Why does it always have to be Democrat or Republican? I???m voting 3rd party this year (even if I have to write the name in myself), because I???m tired of holding my nose to vote for the lesser of two evils.

Seriously, this grumpy old man could possibly be the president. He may think Obama is clean, but he also said he would be happy to run with McCain or against him. He also stated that he felt Obama was not experienced enought for the top job, but thought McCain was. Once again Obama has made a decision based on his own rock star personality.

  • Posted By: mike&opinions @ 08/23/2008 9:49:01 AM

Obama to fix Domestic Policy, Biden to fix Foreign Relations, all under the leadership of President Barack Obama.
We may get it right this time.

    • Posted By: Bob2008 @ 08/23/2008 10:17:17 AM

HAHAHAHA! Maybe the other way around. This way it spells FAILURE! Obama just sold away everything he has supposedly stood for in the single most important choice as the nominee.

  • Posted By: marcopolo62 @ 08/23/2008 10:16:39 AM

What a joke, osama oops obama picks biden who heavily criticized him and biden said he would not except the nomination for vp. Well I guess I will vote for mccain now hehe

  • Posted By: Anna77777 @ 08/23/2008 10:15:20 AM

    The worst possible choice......
The republicans are going to slaughter them in November. And if nothing has moved forward in the US for the past four plus years it is because we have a DEMOCRATIC legislature in Washington who can't vote a clean law....
Clinton wisely did not want to be considered because it is Obama's reputation and sleezy dealings that will all come to the surface... Their foundation is monitored by legislation AND ALL foundations are examined and looked into with a fine tooth comb by the government..... It this had been a question he would have used it during the primaries... HOW low to continue to attach Hillary Clinton, the foundation does lots of good, Obama and his wife have only taken money from sleezy sources, tripling the salary of her job when he got elected to the illinois legislature..... Blahhh
John McCain for President, a true patriot, a man who has ALWAYS reached across the aisle....

  • Posted By: Pepper Fox @ 08/23/2008 10:14:40 AM

so much for change! He wanted to get away from the "old ways of Washington politics" but now hooks up with the same old ways. How disappointing.
