Liebermann is done in the Democratic party completely. He frankly just needs to get his desk moved. Joe has no constituency Nationally. He wasted that in 2000. He has been a Neo-Con for the last 5 years.

I think Biden is a good choice for Obama's VP Joe Biden will make me take a second look at an Obama presidency.

  • Posted By: GTX13 @ 08/23/2008 9:52:46 AM

Now, The Democrat Communist Party of USA will have a fully incompetent, arrogant and unqualified team for presidency ! Just a corrupted black Chicago Mafia exponent and a 3(three) electors representation white man of a Lilliput Delaware state ! Com on Americans, go to vote for our future !

  • Posted By: MadMax2 @ 08/23/2008 9:51:56 AM

For all you Hillary supporters, are you ready to elect Barrack Hussein Obama, so Hil will have to wait 8 more years before she can run for president again? If Obama is elected, he will be the incumbant choice for the Democratic Party nominee in 2012.

Was Mr Obiden picked because he is good on plagerizm/

  • Posted By: duferdoc @ 08/23/2008 9:50:38 AM

Did he get picked because he is good at plagerizm?

Clinton's murky finances? Can you spell Rezko, TUCC for 20 years, CIS and ACORN, Annenburg and Bill Ayers, $30,000 in campaign contributions from foreign nationals in GAZA? The list is long, but Fineman and others can't be bothered to report the truth. Their blind hatred has consumed them and we can only hope that real journalists will step forward to do the job. National Enquirer has had to take over where reporters like Fineman dropped the ball.

Lies. Repeated lies. Old lies. Republican filthy tricks.

My comment as a racist was to differenti by the way......I think Obama has made a wise choice and let's hope McCain picks Mitt...LOL!!!!

  • Posted By: Passasw @ 08/23/2008 9:43:36 AM

"Change you can believe in"? The Obama pick illustrates that a 30 year professional politition will help him foster change among all the intrenched fellow polititions and lobbyists is a joke.

I think, by & large, everyone (including the Media), is missing the point.
Yeah, Biden brings experience, & foreign policy knowledge, but the most important thing Biden brings, is that he can speak to the undecided voters in Pa, Ohio, Virginia, etc.
Lots of people have been on the fence for various reasons, and Biden can address them. What I also like is that Biden is, in fact, a Straight-Talker (unlike the McCain Myth).
While the Media will highlight Biden's Foreign Policy experience, & that he's a *loose cannon,* the Biden choice only adds to the ticket... there really is no real negative, despite what the Media will focus on. A good practical choice by Obama... bodes well for the typw of people he'll appoint.

    • Posted By: Braes @ 08/23/2008 9:15:36 AM

The Biden choice will flatly destroy the McCrazy myth of Straight Talk, Since the 2000 campaign, McCain has not been a straight talker. Now he has embraced all he ran against, and has knuckled under to the Neo Cons. He was a man who withstood torture, but gave in to smear. The republicrazies like to tout McCains command in the service. He lead a Unit. A freakin squadron. Not a fleet, or a Geographical command, but a squadron. Not a ships command, a Squadron.
Commander McCain shares the rank with Other notable field grade types, like Ollie North.

Biden is 180 degrees out from Obama. It is a Republican dream ticket. Biden should have been the candidate in the first place and maybe it would be a done deal. Now he is a lackey to an incompetent!

So much for CHANGE! In the face of this proto-typical insider selection; how for goodness sake, can Obama claims he changing anything?.

    • Posted By: Braes @ 08/23/2008 9:43:15 AM

Because you need someone who can walk across the street and get things done. Biden can. Biden can run administration efforts and guide a president with 30++ years of wisdom. Biden will also get out the intellectual axe and behead some of the Republican Straw men they run at us, and command a debate.

I supported Hillary Clinton in this years primaries.
I thought that Mr.Obama, would be a lot smarter and pick Hillary, as his running mate.
Well,I guess he just handed the election over to George Bush and his band of
    petroleum seeking killers.
    Good bye U,S.forever.......

  • Posted By: cstak1925 @ 08/23/2008 9:27:27 AM

Now we`ll see just how many of Hillary`s supportors he really retains. I think he just handed the oval office to Mccain and thank god for it!!

    • Posted By: Braes @ 08/23/2008 9:33:04 AM

Hillary refusenik? I doubt that any are rushing to McCain's play on your rights. You are one justice from losing them.

      • Posted By: madidoll @ 08/23/2008 9:42:28 AM

I'm white and I am offended by some of the things thats on this blog. Get over it he beat her fair and square and its 2008 not 1938. Oops again thats when Mc Cain was born!

Where is the change? Here is the change....a presidential candidate who speaks badly about his own country; who thinks that the only way to better society is to take money from one segment that earned it and GIVE it to another (disregarding the fact that decades of "equal opportunity" hasn't equalized anything) while advocating more social programs with funding from Congress without the realization that the funds necessary for them come from the pockets of everyone; he claims he is not a member of the rich elite then calls everyone making more than 250k a year rich when his wife makes more than that; and finally making a choice for VP and picking a guy who trashed his own presidential bid many years ago by plagiarizing a British politicians campaign materials (although I personally think that Biden is the most qualified Democrat candidate). Personally, I think Obama could make one more flip flop that would be of greater magnitude and that would be at the convention state he would take the position of VP and nominate Biden for President. All said, I think that would make more sense.
