Comment: The Wall Street crisis was planned the night of Obama's meeting at Bill Ayres home to put Obama in The White House. Together they put a beautiful plan into place.

This Strategy was first elucidated in the 1966 issue of 'The Nation' Magazine by a pair of radical Socialist Columbia University professors, Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven.

    David Horowitz summarizes it as:

"The strategy of forcing political change through an orchestrated crisis. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of Capitalism by overloading the Government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.
    unquote

Obama begin with ACORN by funneling millions into their organization. He then trained ACORN to stage protests in banks to force them to issue risky loans or they would be threatened to face racial charges. ACORN was trained to intimidate financial institutions into giving ???Ninja??? loans to people with NO assets, NO job and NO income, who couldn???t afford these loans.

That caused the housing bubble two years ago it was by ACORN's actions they were able to destroy our credit system.

As this played out, D-Barney Frank and D-Chris Dodd were able to cover up the millions of improvident loans to these bad risky house buyers. And Barney Frank and his chums successfully were able to block all of President Bush's attempts to put a rein on this problem.

So Fannie & Freddie was forced to purchase all these failed subprime mortgages.

Then both Frank and Dodd denied that there were any problems, and refused the Bush Admin. requests to set up a regulatory agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and they were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting sub-prime mortgage loans almost up to the 'minute they failed'.

Democrats then blamed Bush saying it happened on his watch knowing it would hurt the Republican Party in the election setting it up that Barack Obama could use this to his advantage.

Karl Marx once compared a Revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface.

Barack Obama is that Marxist mole !

Comment: How to bring down a democracy: the steps toward totalitarian rule, in the order followed by Hitler and the Nazi Party; SEE IF THEY SOUND FAMILIAR.

    1. Improvise an attack (or take advantage of an attack) on the country
    2. Declare the country under attack by an enemy; real or improvised
    3. Force legislation that limits civil liberties and gathers broad powers unto government
    4. Brand dissenters and peacemakers as unpatriotic and browbeat them into submission
    5. Keep the fear factor high to make the public easier to manage
    6. Institute massive propaganda campaigns using state-controlled no-longer-free media and fear of government retribution
    7. Law enforcement and government personnel and ordinary citizens are used to spy on, control and break dissent.
    8. Institute the equivalent of a national homeland security department, overseen by one person with unlimited powers
    9. Confiscate all firearms from the citizenry
    10. Institute the mass murder and imprisonment of any who resist the new ideology.
    11. Launch pre-emptive strikes into other countries in an attempt to spread the new ideology

Sound familiar? It should, its not only the direct path of Hitlers rise to power, but also parallels the events starting with and following 9/11. President Bush was very familiar with the game plan, as his Grandfather and his Grandfathers father-in-law were supporters of Hitler and Nazism, both before and after the war. (See George Herbert Walker and Prescott Bush and the Union Banking Corporation)

Of course, the Bush Administration has skipped a couple of the items on the list, but theyll get to them if their party is allowed to remain in power; it will be the only way for them to retain control over the citizenry.

THE BEST REASON TO VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA THIS ELECTION YEAR

Comment: In the greater scheme of things, this isn't one of Cheney's bigger crimes. In fact, writing a letter or making a phone call isn't a crime at all. Obnoxious, to be sure, for a federal official to be instructing states what to do, but not criminal.

Now - his role in Abu Gharib, Guantanomo Bay, the Iraq war, and wire tapping without judicial oversight - those are crimes. His profiteering with Haliburton, and maybe Enron? Definitely in the criminal realm. Refusing to answer congressional subpeonas? Full blown criminal act.

If we'er going to go after the man, let's get him on his legitimate criminal behavior.

It's not as if there aren't plenty of real crimes to choose from.

Even if he were put on trial for his misdeeds he probably wouldn't do any jail time. Too bad, he'd look smashing in prision orange. It's doubtful Stevens will spend any time in the gray bar hotel either.

Comment: Treason is the reason, some, have never trusted the Bush Crime Syndicate.
Paleo-conservatives have always distrusted them. Fruit rarely falls far from the tree.

In the BBC Radio Document program, The Whitehouse Coup, John Buchanan suggests President Roosevelt stopped the investigation for a political deal: "The investigations mysteriously turned to vapor when it comes time to call them to testify. FDR's main interest was getting the New Deal passed, and so he struck a deal in which it was agreed that the plotters would walk free if Wall Street would back off of their opposition to the New Deal and let FDR do what he wanted". [45]
The 2007 BBC radio documentary The White House Coup said that Prescott Bush was connected with the plot.[45]
On July 23, 2007, the BBC Radio 4 series Document reported on the alleged Business Plot and the archives from the McCormack-Dickstein Committee hearings. The program mentioned Bush's directorship of the Hamburg-America Line, a company that the committee investigated for Nazi propaganda activities, and the alleged 1933 attempt, supposedly led by Gerald MacGuire, to stage a military coup against President Franklin D. Roosevelt aimed at forcing Roosevelt to resign (or, failing that, to assassinate him) and at installing a fascist dictatorship in the United States. [5]
Pedigree: Bush was born in Columbus, Ohio to Samuel Prescott Bush and Flora (Sheldon) Bush. Samuel Bush was a railroad executive, then a steel company president, and during World War I, also a federal government official in charge of coordination and assistance to major weapons contractors.
Bush attended the Douglas School in Columbus and then St. George's School in Newport, Rhode Island from 1908 to 1913. In 1913, he enrolled at Yale University, continuing a family legacy as part of the skull and bones society; four subsequent generations of Bushes have been Yale alumni. Prescott Bush was admitted to the Zeta Psi fraternity while at Yale and Skull and Bones secret society.

Comment: I support drilling 100%, but then I'm a Dentist. Oh, they mean for oil. Yes, lets do that too! When it has an effect in 9 or 10 years the environment will be to far gone for anyone to continue to worry about. We will have cheap gas to put in our hermatically sealed cars to protect us from pollution and carbon dioxide gases. Yep, we'll stand there at the pump with our gas masks on reveling in $2.50 per gallon gas. What, you actually think you will see $1.50 per gallon again!

Folks the genie is out of the bottle. Don't expect these greedy bastards to try to put it back in. You will never see gas below $2.50 ... never. But, John McCain may see two or three more houses.

Oh, when you are arrested and detained on no charges for a month or two; when you lose your home; when people finally give up and hit the streets with violence; you won't need to gas up anyway because it will be too dangerous to go out.

We had to fight the first King George to create this Nation. By God, we will do it again if necessary.

Comment: Appeasement: to yield or concede to the belligerent demands of (a nation, group, person, etc.) in a conciliatory effort, sometimes at the expense of justice or other principles.

Appeasement, in an effort by a Democratic congress to work with the right wing, is a futile and self destructive act. Ignoring the corruption of the Cheney/Bush administration will only reinforce the mind set of the right wing and eventually lead to the collapse of our democratic system. We learned the hard way with Nazi Germany.

A priority of a Democratic congress should be to clean up the corruption of the Cheney/Bush administration, even if George was kept out of the loop by Cheney to give George deniability.

Comment: The VP wrote a letter to a State Legislature urging them to pass a bill. All this proves is that Cheney is an oil man with no scruples, which we already knew, but unfortunately, it doesn't prove he violated any laws (other than the laws of decency, which he has been violating for decades)

If you want to catch Dick Cheney in the act, take Deep Throat's advice: follow the money. It will be his greed, not his indecency, that will ultimately prove his undoing and send him to jail, which is where he belongs. Get the IRS after him - they caught Capone that way, and they should be able to catch Cheney the same way, since both are arrogant, immoral, evil men who believe themselves outside the law.

Writing a letter isn't illegal. Writing a check and accepting same from criminals and terrorists, is.

It really doesn't matter if there is a Democrat or a Repulican in the Whilte House, because they all have the same agenda. With the Patriot Acts, the Military Commissions Act, and countless others, Bush and his cronies have destroyed our Constitution and are bringing about a police state. Even MSNBC commented that Bush is ushering in a "police state." This is Nazi Germany, not our once great American republic. From Operation Northwoods in the 1960s to the Project for a New American Century in 2000, our government has a long history of using government-sponsored, false-flag terror attacks to sufficiently scare us into giving up our freedoms in the name of national security. 9/11 was a prime example. Watch "9/11: The Decent into Tyranny." Google it. Understand that foreign heads of state, members of our military, members of the current and former presidential administrations, and countless other experts at all levels have gone on the record and stated that 9/11 was not accomplished by radical Muslim extremists, but rather by those within our own government. The CIA actually TRAINED the supposed 9/11 terrorists who flew those planes into the WTC! Treason at the highest orders. And the bin Laden family was rapidly flown out the USA right after 9/11, even when Americans were not allowed to fly?

Comment: And here I thought that all US citizens were the constituants of the President and the Vice- President. Here is one case of many where Bush and Cheney are trying to get more energy at a lower price for all of the people whereas the Dem leaders rejoice when the supply is short and the price increases. Isn't this the reason for Pelosi's actions in shuting down the House of Reps?

  • Posted By: NO2WAR @ 08/24/2008 3:00:15 AM

Comment: Ted Stevens and Dick Cheney- just doing the bidding of the Bush Crime Family.

    • Posted By: onepoker @ 08/24/2008 4:35:22 AM

Comment: You know this is a two way street. Nancy Pelosi pushed for Tboone pickens plan even though she is personally invested in his companies. This is what politicians do its not corruption. They believe in something so they advocate it and push for it in any way they can. Now the guy taking money is inappropriate but Dick Cheney was just doing his job and you can be sure he didn't take any money for his part.

      • Posted By: enlighteninglad @ 08/24/2008 10:42:07 AM

Comment: Blatant corruption is still corruption. That's why there are suposed to be conflict of interest laws. Politicians pushing agendas that they have a monetary stake in is WRONG. Its insider trading to the Nth degree.

Comment: Well it should come as no surprize.
First of all thats what Cheney does in his secret office is run the oil business, You may think he separated from the oil business but the fact is he just moved his Haliburton office to the white house.
Second payoff's and bribes are a way of life in the oil business.
This is just business as usual.

Comment: I don't know why anybody would be surprise, this is why the Republicans are doing everything they can to keep OBAMA out of the white house. They do not want to give up their power. They reped our constitution, they comit war crimes, they steal, lie and cheat, and bribrey shouldn't be any surprise.

    • Posted By: onepoker @ 08/24/2008 4:44:02 AM

Comment: What we don't want to give up is our freedom and our free markets. The constitution is fine and intact. The war crimes were greatly exagerated and perpetrated by individuals who have been imprisoned. The only one who wants to steal is Obama who wants to steal from the oil companies. The lies were mistakes not lies the cheating didn't exist. Bribery well that guy is now being prosecuted but the case is iffy and it may turn out to not really be a bribe at all. These people were old friends and yes its a high amount of money for the average american but it is not unusual for Millionaires to help out a friend with a sizeable gift. The problem comes from the appearance of a quid pro quo arrangement and if that is the case well this senator is cooked as he should be.

Comment: Greed. The Republican Christian Nazi Party of Greed. Go pray at Church for the almighty " GOD" of Superstition to fill your bank accounts with gold. Time to round up Cheney, Bush and all his working buddies and haul them off to prison for a long "time out".

  • Posted By: Rich Monk @ 08/23/2008 6:02:33 PM

Comment: The Republican Christian Right Wing Extremist Party of Greed will do anything to make money. Lie, cheat, steal, whatever it takes. $100 million is not enough. $1 billion is not enough. $10 billion is not enough. $500 billion is not enough. Hunchback Cheney leading the pack. Greed consumes everything and then they go to Church and pray that "God" the Superstition was good to them!!! You can convince most humans of anything. "There will be Blood".

Comment: Please that is exactly how things are NOT supposed to work. Stevens gets $250K bribe money. calls in Cheney to stick his federal nose into local politics? Talk about rationalization. We have really gone around the bend here

  • Posted By: patco13 @ 08/23/2008 5:54:56 PM

Comment: Legislators are NOT supposed to get $250K from the exact people who the legislation will benefit. That is called briery. legislators are supposed to represent all the people not just the ones they get money from. Those type of legislators are called Republicans and they will be in the minority come January

After all what's a little grease between old pals . . . it's only the little people that can't take advantage of these sweetheart deals . . . think ol'Cheney will help me with a house, you know drop a note to those crazy bankers wanting "good credit"???

  • Posted By: JohnnyJumpUp @ 08/23/2008 5:10:16 PM

Comment: Good Lord. This is what elected officials are SUPPOSED to do, work to move along projects and concepts that are beneficial to their constituents. It would also be helpful if you had any knowledge of Alaska politics. For example, it would be worth investigating that at the time of the letter, there were and still are 2 competing gas line proposals and the success of either depends on the stance of the Alaska Legislature regarding taxes and royalties.

The proposed gas line is now estimated to cost $30 BILLION, making it the single most expensive private construction job in world history. The success of this project is crucial to the future of this state and the country. Do us all a favor and do a little research. You know, news gathering and reporting.
