Comment: Ah would that it all be in a tiny bit substantiated by ANY proofs whatever! Then it might serve as a tool of influencing internal politics in Russia. But why all the information is not based on facts? That may only repel ordinary Russians. They are fed up with ungrounded bites already. Give something real, as that film about Bush made in the US by some director thingumabob.
And what an approach! The author suspects the Kremlin in envolvement in children pornography! Such statements are unacceptable when ungrounded. That's squalid, I'm sorry to say! English-tongue culture is so glorious, why not express more friendliness to the world, why oblige oneself in ungrounded mire!
    Dmitry.

Comment: Condemning statements made by countries and international organizations about Russia are called ???applying pressure??? while a more accurate description of the activity would be ???pretending to apply pressure???. International disapproval may hurt the government of a democratic country with a free press but it has become clear over the years that it does not do much to sway Russia and may even strengthen the internal support for the Russian government. To change Russia???s course real and measurable sanctions are needed such as freezing its assets abroad or denying visas to its top officials.

Isn't it ironic: Xerox is hoping it can profit by teaching companies how to reduce their printing.
