Biden, on a post-debate appearance on MSNBC, October 30, 2007: "The only guy on the other side who's qualified is John McCain."

Biden appearing on The Daily Show, August 2, 2005: "John McCain is a personal friend, a great friend, and I would be honored to run with or against John McCain, because I think the country would be better off, be well off no matter who..."

On Meet the Press, November 27, 2005: "I've been calling for more troops for over two years, along with John McCain and others subsequent to my saying that."

Assessing Obama's Iraq plan on September 13, 2007: "My impression is [Obama] thinks that if we leave, somehow the Iraqis are going to have an epiphany" of peaceful coexistence among warring sects. "I've seen zero evidence of that."

Around that time, Biden in an interview with the Huffington Post, he assessed Obama and Hillary Clinton: "The more people learn about them (Obama and Hillary) and how they handle the pressure, the more their support will evaporate."

December 11, 2007: "If Iowans believe campaign funds and celebrity will fix the debacle in Iraq, put the economy on track, and provide health care and education for America???s children, they should support another candidate [Obama],"said Biden for President Campaign Manager Luis Navarro. "But I???m confident that Iowans know what I know: our problems will require experience and leadership from Day One. Empty slogans [Change we can believe in] will be no match for proven action on caucus night."
Also that night, Biden said in a campaign ad, "When this campaign is over, political slogans like 'change' will mean absolutely nothing. The next president has to act."

September 26, 2007: Biden for President Campaign Manager Luis Navarro said, "Sen. Obama said he would do everything possible to end the war in Iraq and emphasized the need for a political solution yet he failed to show up to vote for Sen. Biden's critical amendment to provide a political solution in Iraq."

On Aug. 1, 2007, when Obama unveiled his counterterrorism agenda, the Biden camp fired off a snarky email congratulating him for his "Johnny-come-lately position" on Afghanistan, noting that during two Foreign Relations Committee hearings on Afghanistan and other subjects, Obama didn't ask questions about the Taliban, Al Qaeda, or Afghanistan.
"We find it a little disingenuous that Sen. Obama is hailing this as a new bold initiative when he has neglected to join his colleagues in the Senate when the opportunities have been there to redirect our forces into Afghanistan" Biden campaign manager Luis Navarro said at the time. "It's good to see Sen. Obama has finally arrived at the right position, but this can hardly be considered bold leadership."

Biden on Obama war funding vote: "I am not going to fail to protect these kids as long as we have a single, solitary troop in Iraq," said Biden during a Sept. 9, 2007 appearance on "Meet the Press."
"This isn't cutting off the war," he added. "This is cutting off support that will save the lives of thousands of American troops." (H.R. 2206)

Biden on Obama: "I mean, you got the first sorta mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice looking guy."

Obama: "The real gamble in this election is playing the same Washington game with the same Washington players and expecting a different result."

NEWSWEEK has buried the TONY REZKO story (friend of Obama and convicted felon). They thru it up on their site today and buried it at end of the day. Couldnt find the link to the article so I used Newsweeks search engine which is useless. Then I googled it outside the site and found it. When i pulled up the link, the lead in page shows 3 blogs (the norm) but when I went into the all comments area every blog was wiped out. I dont think that was coincidental.

DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL LIKE WE ARE LIVING IN THE USSR OR CHINA HERE? The MSM I have lost any respect for. . . they only feed the public what they want them to see and if they are pressed to at least write an article that is controversial about Obama, wham, it is gone within 24 hrs, buried in the site.

ANYWAYS, if anyone wants to read the Who is Tony Rezko article, here is the link that leads to where it is buried somewhere within this site:

Do you (really) know enough about Obama . . ?

OBAMAS RELATIONSHIPS STEMMING FROM HIS DIRECTORSHIP OF THE WOODS FUND

    1. William (Bill) Ayers - An admittedly unapologetic terrorist that Obama worked with on the Board of Directors for 8 years and associated with on a personal level outside of work with Michelle.

    2. Bernadine Dohrn (admittedly unapologetic terrorist, wife of Bill Ayers; she and Bill hosted fundraiser for Obama; Dohrn worked with Michelle in the same Law Firm )

    3. Woods Funds Investments has had associations with radical anti-Israel organizations:

    * Arab American Action Network (AAAN):Midwest Academy: [A] training organization that teaches radical activists tactics of direct action, targeting, confrontation, and intimidation.

    * American Friends Service Committee (AFSC): a Radical Quaker organization that supports Americas unilateral disarmament [and that backed] the Vietnamese Communists, Pol Pot, Fidel Castro, and the PLO.

In fact, AFSC recently formed a partnership with MEChA. MEChA is one of several groups that intend to "reclaim Aztlán" (the southwestern portion of the United States).

OK - so what is sticking?

On the Obama side it's perceived inexperience, a sense that he got too much, too soon, celebrity, that taint of "foreignness" implied by his name, and the nasty old Rev. Wright.

For McCain, he has to contend with being a not wel-spoken dissembler, a nasty shoot from the hip temper, a lack of real knowledge on the technologies that drive our economy, untold, unearned wealth, too many years on the DC teat, surrendering to a foreign power during war, "Exxon," and that old Keating Five stank.

It's too easy to choose which are real, and which are manufactured.

Transcript for new Hussein ad...Hussein camp threatening stations if they run it. This is soooo FUNNY....

Beyond the speeches, how much do you know about Barack Obama?

    What does he really believe?

    Consider this:

United 93 never hit the Capitol on 9/11.

But the Capitol was bombed thirty years before -

By an American terrorist group called Weather Underground that declared 'war' on the U.S. -

Targeting the Capitol, the Pentagon, police stations and more.

One of the group's leaders, William Ayers, admits to the bombings, proudly saying later:

    'We didn't do enough.'

Some members of the group Ayers founded even went on to kill police.

But Barack Obama is friends with Ayers, defending him as, quote,

    'Respectable' and 'Mainstream.'

Obama's political career was launched in Ayers' home.

And the two served together on a left-wing board.

Why would Barack Obama be friends with someone who bombed the Capitol...and is proud of it?

Do you know enough to elect Barack Obama?

But bu$hCo now states that the Iraqi's have 'stood up' so we can stand down. Right! It was never about that, and never will be. If it's perceived as politically expedient by you and your ilk, you'll do it, period. Just like the 'fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here" slogan was such a pile of crap. You say out of one side of our mouth that we are fighting a 'Global War on Terror", then you say we are fighting on piece of land in one country and we have them contained there, so they can't come here. All the 'Global' terrorist guys stopped being 'global' when the war in Iraq started?!! Right!! You guys are SOOOOOO full of it. It is funny to see you you do cognitive gymnastics to try and convince Americans that you have anything but your own interests at heart.

    Bush???s words from May, 2007:

"It makes no sense to tell the enemy when you plan to start withdrawing. All the terrorists would have to do is mark their calendars and gather their strength ??? and begin plotting how to overthrow the government and take control of the country of Iraq. I believe setting a deadline for withdrawal would demoralize the Iraqi people, would encourage killers across the broader Middle East, and send a signal that America will not keep its commitments. Setting a deadline for withdrawal is setting a date for failure ??? and that would be irresponsible.

However, the Iraqi Army has no artillery, no airpower, no logistical capacity, no field hospitals and little else that a modern armed force needs. It???s a glorified internal security paramilitary police force.

So , what does Little Turd do, he sets a timeline. What did Obama say to do? Set a timeline. Well Little Trud, , you eat your words, yet again! And best buddy, "95% McSame", is right there with you. Obama has the insight and the foresight. Bu$h and McSame have the crow. Eat it well, as usual. bu$h and McSame, you are idiots and hypocrites, and no rubber or glue can gloss over that fact.

Voters learning that Obama opposed getting medical assistance for a baby that was born after a failed abortion because it was "burdensome" to the mother and the abortionist is is going to stick to Obama and Biden (who is supposed to be Catholic) like dog sh1t on a shoe.
