I recently re-subscribed to the magazine with the thought that Newsweek was a News magazine. Imagine my surprise when I got the most recent edition and realized that what I had subscribed to was an Obama fan mag. I know that Newsweek is aiming for the same moveon.org crowd that MS-DNC is hoping to get, but I have never witnessed such blatant home team partisan "coverage" in a so-called news mag ever. Perhaps the next step is to merge with The Nation in order to save newsprint.
