Every year animal species which are believed to be extinct for millions of years are found around the world. Why can't Big Foot, Sasquatch, Yeti or the Sow Man from the Himalayas exist? Several cultures throughout the world insist they do. Their cultures and traditions tell us they are real. Who are we to say that they are wrong?

Lets face it folks,if Bigfoot was actually seen by an american in the woods,we would all know about it as it would certainly have been shot and dragged back to civilization,to be sold to the highest bidder. So i guess there is no Bigfoot.

It's hard to read something with these adds in the middle of the screen.

Judging by the number of people who believe in this Bigfoot stuff, proves without
doubt that an *** IS born every minute. [HEHEHEH if not more often]

Those two guys should be jail for lying to the public's face. Obviously they won't stop at anything to scam others. ,

i suppose it's an implied point, but you must present evidence proving bigfoot does exist if you're asserting that bigfoot exists. if you take the position that he doesn't, it's just easier to prove until evidence exists to the contrary... see?

Hey, if we can't find a 6'4" bastard by the name of OSAMA in a barren desert, I then have hope that bigffot himself is eluding us also!

    • Posted By: romel @ 08/25/2008 9:39:04 PM

Comment: If big foot really exist i don't think it's smarter that OSAMA. OSAMA have been hiding from us for a reason. And that's because he is capable of reasoning. Big foot, I Don't thing it's smarter than a second grader. I'm not giving big foot here a classification because I'm not a taxonomist but just think of the place where it purportedly live - cave, deep forest. jungle, no technology, no education. Easy pry.

your response excludes the fact that the rules of man do not apply in forests or jungles. the set of skills required to survive and remain elusive are much than most humans are even capable of these days

The existence or non- existence of sasquatch has nothing to do with evolution or politics. whether or not one believes is immaterial. I spent many years living, backpacking and camping in the wilderness in Oregon, washington and Northern California, and have no doubt about the existence of bigfoot, but respect their destre to live apart from human society. Upon reading the responses to this article, I readily agree with the notion that they are better off without us, and feel that it is wrong for us to try to hunt them out, to satisfy our own vanity. Man is the ONLY animal on the face of the earth that has the capacity, or the need, to blush, and the only animal that requires spoken language to convey our thoughts. Mind your own business, and leave them alone!

Many regions of eastern United States remain as wild today as it was 150 years ago, despite the nation's 430 million human inhabitants. Here in the Potomac Higlands of West Virginia, thousands of acres of wilderness, no human has set forth on still remain......allowing any type of wildlife from Sasquatch to mountain lions and black panthers to inhabit with adequate cover, water and prey density. The presence of any wild, known or unaccepted species of wildlife, does NOT surprise me, since we spend 30% of each 365 days looking for evidence of such strange mammals. (posted by John A. Many people under estimate the vast area's of wilderness that still remain in North America. I didn't realize that large tracts of land in the North Country until I took a 100 mile canoe trip into the Canadian wilderness. At our most northern point of the trip we were 50 miles from the nearest boat launch, and we didnt see another person for 3 days strait. Another crew that went out with us traveled farther north, into an even more remote area. They brought back pictures of what was either a man in a large gorilla suit or a bigfoot. The area was 50 miles from the nearest road access, and to transport the suit they would have had to portage it between over a dozen lakes. And like I said, its not common to go days with out seeing anyone, so why would someone go though all the trouble to plan a hoax no one would see?

<<<---Proposes new law.... " People who are opinionated and lack a certain level of open mindedness and who have less IQ pts than what shoe size they ask for when the go bowling SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMMENT OPENLY IN PUBLIC for fear of embarassing the rest of the United States." Chalk that right up next to the smoking ban and the fast food ban in LA.

Dude Designmaster777 ... are u for real? were talking about bigfoot here man not politics. Sick of u pathetic Self rightous Democrat Morons always poppin off at the mouth about something they cant possibly know. BUSH is not to blame for every messed up thing that goes on. If anyone is to blame its you socialist democrats making dumb ass laws to take our rights away. And furthermore for proof of evolution... if we and every lifeform on this planet didnt evolve... we would die off over time. U want proof of evolution...look in the mirror. Comment: Please don't feed me that "overwhelming evidence" crap! I work with real science every day! I have used science in my profession for over 40 years. I know enough about my profession to know that there is not even a flake of scientific evidence to support the ridiculous claims of the theory of evolution.

Furthermore, this "broad acceptance" business only proves my point that "there are so many fools!!! Just look at all the stupid people who were silly enough to follow George W. Bush and his Weapons of Mass Destruction Nonsense. Many of these fools were highly educated - they are fools notwithstanding!!!

Personally, I believe there already is more than sufficient evidence available to suggest that there are likely a significant population of these creatures here and many other parts of the world. Granted, there are a lot of hoaxes too but let's face it......there still exists plenty of remote forest and rugged mountains in many areas where a creature could remain quite elusive. In particular is the north Cascades in Washington, British Columbia as well as Oregon, northern California and other densely forested areas around the Great Lakes and New England. I would guess there numbers are fairly small, but likely a few thousand could exist in N. America and avoid detection fairly easily in areas that don't even have old logging roads to access miles of rugged wilderness.
Besides, the most compelling evidence has to be that of the Patterson film of 1967 which has been studied to "death" with the latest in computer technology in film imaging, the walk, the breasts, the muscles, etc. which are quite compelling and show more evidence than not that it could not have been a man in a monkey suit. Plus, inconclusive hair samples along with actual dermal ridges in many of the plaster footprint castings which could not have been faked or even considered by an amateur hoaxster. Throw in the thousands of actual sightings, vocalizations, the fact that Native American Indians have believed in its existence for centuries AND.....that there are actual laws on the books in places like Skamania County, WA which state it is a felony to ever shoot one if you see one and a $10,000 fine. WHAT would this tell 'ya?
IMO....it should also be a felony to hoax one like this most recent debacle and I'm glad it cost one of those idiots his job!
So what if they exist. They are obviously quite intelligent creatures and they probably think WE are the fools of this Earth in the way WE choose to live.

I think the comment below mine is about the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Nobody on Earth knows if the the true answer is Creation or Evolution. Simply denying either of these two conclusions shows your lack of intelligence and excess of close-mindedness.

    • Posted By: sujpgo @ 08/25/2008 9:16:29 PM

I am not saying that Creation or Evolution are untrue but the "real" answer is neither Creation or Evolution. The simple reason is because you cannot get something out of nothing. You just can't and if someone think it is possible, i would like to hear it. So with Creation, we do not know where god came from. We re just told that at the beginning there was god (cope out). With evolution we' re told that everything started with the big bang but noone knows where that primeval atom came from (other cope out). It would be nice to find whether bigfoot exists or not but i think scientists should devote more time to find to "real" beginning of time if there is one.

Evolution is disputable. Where are the transitional fossils? Why is there no fossil link between non flowering and flowering plants? The broad acceptance of evolution is by the scientific establishment who are just as dogmatic in their beliefs as the creationists. We still have a lot to learn. The book is by no means closed.

It would or will be interesting if found true, but what a colassal waste of time that could be used to report on the issues that people are faced with in their real lives, such as, the economy, politics, the environment, energy and just what would the next administration really do to get this country going in the right direction. Just another classic example of the msm giving us the information they want us to have.

  • Posted By: romel @ 08/25/2008 8:39:37 PM

Comment: What excites me most is a legitimate scientific research. But one question that baffles me is that why scientists find it hard to find one big foot despite of the technological advancement we have today. If the US government was able to send monitoring devices to the deep black space and to the deep blue sea with such an incredible accuracy then there's no reason why they can't do it on the ground. dinosaurs were

I love how one person links the poor science involved in the search for bigfoot to evolution and another links it to creationism. I have no real point to make. I just find that funny

"Real Scientist are Looking for the Mythical Ape"...when they could have a real job, like looking for the cure for cancer.
